Today was a rainy day! I did some requirements before school and finished them after school. I had nachos for dinner and had some time on my iPad.
I have not been feeling well today, so I think I am going to pass on requirements. I will have to make it up sometime this weekend. It’s very inconvenient to be sick during the cycle. I hope that by getting rest tonight I will feel better by tomorrow.
Holy cow, what a wet day! No running outside, that's for sure! Took a great black belt class with Master Chelley at Lake Norman. Almost done with all of my leadership credits, and have less than 20 miles left! Sounds great, but behind on a couple other things. it was fun to do a lot of stick forms today.
Today I went to black belt in birkdale and I got a new book at the barns and noble down the street. Class was really fun. It was a good day
I had to work on a french project it was so hard! I also had a psych test but I think I did pretty good.
Today I had no school. I was very happy because I got to go to King Tiger and spend time with my friends. Today we played a lot of big mat things and it was fun. At lunch we watched shark boy and lava girl the movie. Sparring class yesterday was fun and today black belt class we did some stick forms.

hola amigos i am home from school and thank god i don't have to go back there tomorrow. i'll update on thursday since i'm pretty sure i didn't journal yesterday. thursday was chill and around 12:30 i went down to the lower school (our school has K-12 on 1 campus) to watch my sister perform in a midsummer night's dream. i don't remember what the character's name was, but i do remember that it was a guy who turns into a donkey. after that my sister wanted to stay @ school n take the bus home and i was not ab that life so i left with my mom. bbc was fine. friday is chill so far, and that's pretty much it. goodbye, sleep well, and see you tmrw
Today i woke up and did most of my requirments. As usasul though on the days off of school, after that I went to the gym and ran 1.5 miles and now I'm getting ready to leave for Lake Norman black belt class at 5:30!!
Today at school I learned a lot about fractions. We had to stay inside for recess and indoor recess is always crazy. I got to take leftover pizza from dinner for my lunch. Tonight Far and I are going to black belt class at Lake Norman.
Happy days are back again! I closed on my new house and the painting has begun! I have already started scoping out running routes around the construction in my neighborhood so we can still get Taylor's miles in. I learned a valuable lesson this afternoon, don't run in the rain with 2 Beagles, an umbrella, and 2 bags full of doggie #2. It won't work out for you, don't try it. Needless to say, my run today was difficult. Sparring was a great class last night and I am looking forward to BBC today!

Good morning. Yesterday was one of the longest days ever. School was good and from there i went to my classes. From there went straight to Tae Kwon Do. Sparring class was good. It was really exhausting. After that I did my mentee session. Came home and finished my school assignment and hit bed. Waiting for the long weekend. Off to school now. Good Day all!
Decided to journal this morning since I am going out to dinner tonight with my husband, yeah. Stiff this morning working on self defenses. Usually I like to run in the morning but woke to the sound of rain so changed the plan. Will be another busy day however I always look forward to Friday night Black Belt class!
I tried something different today! If I add my journal entry on my kindle and then go back and read other journal entries, I don't see the names with the entries. Today I am using my other kindle and decided to read other journal entries before I logged in to add my entry. It is different seeing who wrote which entry, rather than guessing. I might be good at guessing a few, but certainly not all. Hopefully work is getting closer to having some key decisions being made and shared, so they can be acted on. I have been feeling a little in limbo. I have been thinking that I need to find something that I am passionate about and move in a different direction, but change is hard. Today, I did great on my tests and quizzes. I am working on my essay right now. I got my leadership credit and my BBC weekday. I had fun in the Black belt class today.
I had fun sparring at class today, I was more tired than usual from it. Master Marcus helped me with the koreyo poomsae and helped me with a special self defense.
It has been a good week so far. Work has been good and busy. Today I worked through my requirements mostly before heading up to Harrisburg to help out with belt testing. Tomorrow will be the end of the work week but not the end of working on requirements.
Another long 45 minute drive home from class. Staff forms in class and double stick 2 in my mentor session with Master Cavazos. I'm definitely feeling better about double stick 2. For some reason, my mind just wasn't grasping it. I really focused on self defense today. I just need to practice, practice, practice. Still need to work on 3rd Dan one-step and special self defense #4 A LOT.

I have had a pretty smooth week so far. My Junior Tigers tested yesterday and they all did really well! Had a great energy the entire test. Today we have our Senior Tigers & Adults. Today wasn't that bad. I got my leadership credits 1&2. I am studying for my social studies vocabulary test. I also have a student council meeting tomorrow morning.
I missed school yesterday because I didn't feel that good. Today my mom said I was ok to go back but I still didn't feel great. I stuck it out and felt better by the time I got home. I did another session with my mentee Gabriel and it went really well.
Today didn't feel like a normal Wednesday since I had Monday off. While working on my requirements I keep practicing bocho and 1st dan self defense. Especially the specials are not easy to do without a partner and getting that dynamic fight feeling in. Tomorrow Erik and I will go help out with testing.
It felt weird wearing the white belt. It brought back memories of when I first started. Everyone was teasing me there, but it was a fun day.

I ended up pretty tired by class today but teaching the younger kids is always fun. In my English class at school I have been assigned and interesting project. In class when we work on certain topics I've already mastered, I will get to work on an author study. An author study is basically where you compare two or more of a certain author's work and look for similarities and differences. I think I'm going to pick a classical author along the lines of Oscar Wilde or Jane Austen. I want to get more into classics and both of those authors . have been recommended multiple times. Anyways I hope everyone has a goodnight!
So today my dad showed us a magic trick we’re basically what he did was he took two eggs one of them he laid on the table and one of them he held in his hand and he made me and my sister like kind of like grab the air and likes throw the yoke into the second egg. Then he went and took a cup out of the cupboard and he cracked one of the eggs and it was completely empty so then and he showed us a cup and then he took another eight took the other leg and he cracked it and somehow there was two egg yolks from where we threw the yoke into the other one it was really coo

I was sooooo hungry when I got home from work today so I took my son Ethan to DaeBak- the Korean restaurant that we went to when Grandmaster Lee was in town. It was delicious and my son loved it. Now I'm home and I'm getting started on requirements. I was able to do 100 pushups this morning before work, but I didn't get in the situps and burpees like I usually do. I also need to catch up on self defense because I'm running a little bit behind so I'll focus on those requirements tonight. I have so much work to do, but I feel myself becoming stronger. And, as an added bonus- I've lost 10 pounds since the cycle started. I still have more to go, but that little bit of weight makes a huge difference in my training!
I was not feeling well again today so I didn’t do as many requirements. I did get another essay done - Yay! I am meeting with my mentor today and we are working on my staff form. I made flash cards for the test and I have been trying to look at them every day. Hopefully tomorrow my stomach will stop hurting.

My math teacher called me and asked me to lead the class and teach fractions to my class. I was nervous when she called me but i love math and I did pretty well. Fractions are very easy. Even when I have a day that could have been a bad Monday at work, and then go to black belt class, I always feel better after class. Today was another one of those days! I don't really know what to expect anymore and that is frustrating to no end! I'm not one that takes to change easily and I am having a rough time lately. Surely it will get better, right? I have not come up with any good options, so need to stick it out for now.

Just got home from Black Belt class. We worked on single stick forms in class and then Staff forms and Special #2 Self Defense with Master Dege's mentees. I don't think I'll get much done in the way of requirements tonight but at least I was able to fit in some requirements this morning. I have a 7 am meeting tomorrow, so requirements will have to wait until tomorrow night.

Oh look another day of stress! I really hope this is the end of the drama about my house. My arms are really tired from doing extra push-ups and burpies so I don't go insane. On the bright side, it's getting me through my requirements faster so I can't complain there. The run was tough this morning, my body doesn't like it when I try to run and it's cold outside. Doesn't matter if im in a warm gym, it still knows. We are getting closer to the end of this journey! Guess I need to figure out a new skill, so does Taylor. Hmmm...
Sunday I took a break from requirements. I didn't even go to the gym. My body actually really needed it. Took my son to the dojang to play for a few hours in the early morning. Got a quick grocery run done. After that, went to Ikea to puchase some more shelves for the dojang. Watched both football games, and even though both teams I was pulling for lost, they were great games to watch. Yesterday, got back to the gym and requirements, and taught some fun TaeKwonDo classes. Will repeat again today!

Dear John Noticed you at the park the other day, seems Master Tucker, Master Dedge was working hard you were just laughing, what up with that. Get it together man and work hard. You may have been there 2.5 hours but you were laughing for 2 hours. So stop and get yourself motivated to do the work to get better. I am sure you were actually working as I noticed you did about 45 forms from sticks, staff and poomse in the credits so keep it up. Can not wait to see you out there next weekend. Today was a day to remember a very important person in American history. It is not just a holiday to where most people are off from school and work. Well Erik and I dragged Patrick out for a run this morning. Both boys were complaining about being cold but both of them ran better and faster than I have seen in a while. I was proud of them. Erik and I worked on finding answers for the written test, next weekend we will be creating flash cards to help memorize the answers. For dinner we did some awesome grilled turkey and black bean burgers.

Today was really relaxing. I got to finish a couple of requirements. But today I practiced my dance for my upcoming performances. I hope this week will go by fast for the 3 day weekend again!
I slept late today and it felt good. No more shorts for my runs. I had to wear jogging pants and my hands got cold. I wish I wore gloves too. I will be finishing up midterms this week. I felt tired doing my requirements today.
Nice Day off. Very relaxing. Meant to get more requirements in but did enough. Took the girls to Barnes and Nobles for the afternoon. Wrote another Essay while we were there. So that is good. Planning on cold early run tomorrow will see how that goes.
Today was long. Monday's are always long. I woke up at 5 am and worked on Poomsaes and Self Defense and then came home to continue requirements. I've started doing my pushups on my pushup machine instead of on an incline. The machine is called the "Pushup Pump" and it supports my upper body and doesn't stress my shoulder. Hopefully the incline pushups have helped me develop some shoulder strength and will prevent me from injuring myself. Speaking of pushups, I'm off to do my 200 right now.
I had a great day today! I got to sleep in until around eleven and then had a donut for breakfast. After I hung around and did requirements between drawing and playing a couple of games. Later in the afternoon my mom, sister, and I went to Barnes and Noble. I picked out a book we got drinks and read for a little bit. My family had salad for dinner and I packed for school tomorrow So today was a lot of fun even though I dread school tomorrow. Anyways goodnight and I'll see everyone at class!
Well, I didn't have a day off from work due to the holiday, but I did get in over 3 miles after work and did burpees again after each loop. I started with 3 and figured if I did 4 instead, I would accomplish them that much quicker. Now for the rest of today's requirements. Ugh! After 125 burpees throughout my run/walk, pushups are slow going.
After working on my deck in the COLD, Which I was happy it wasn't rain again today. Found it a little hard to do the requirements, but got them in one step at a time. ????
Today wasn’t a bad day. Since I didn’t have school today, I woke up a little later than usual to go to the MLK celebration in downtown that I was invited to. After that I went home and rested for a while. When I felt like I was ready to start my requirements, I did my daily miles and moved on. Now I’m waiting for dinner time to come.
Today was a really cold day which means no running outside. That's ok, Taylor and I were able to get a run in anyway. With it being cold makes it hard to keep things from getting stiff. Lots of stretching through the day. Even though the schools were closed, I was able to get a mentee session in! Today Taylor is doing her empathy challenge, it has been glorious. She chose mute and it has been so hard for her to not talk...LOL. I look forward with helping her with her essay.

We were supposed to have soccer workouts today but it was 32 degrees and they canceled. But that also means ive been able to complete alot of requirements.

Hi guys guess where I am, I am at Orlando,Florida for my tenth birthday and I am rocking I have already been to universal studios and Disney.we are staying at a luxury hotel and they have vr that we might do today and tomorrow.yesterday we went to Disney springs and the last time we went we went to the coke factory I had to much coke and when we got back I was throwing up for almost two hours.the day before that we went to this place called ohana it’s a Hawaiian place near magic kingdom and they have the best fooooood.so taday we might do the vr and play b-ball and go to a park today bye

Good Morning. Yesterday was a good day. My brothers friends came over to our house to play with him. All the boys know is only how to eat. There was one skinny lanky boy close to 6 feet tall who would play for a little and then get hungry. He would come straight to the kitchen and ask my mom to give him something to eat. Then he would go out and play with the rest of the boys and then come back again. It was fun! I finished my requirements and also ran a lot yesterday. Have a good day!
Erik and I got up this morning and went for a run around the neighborhood. Afterward we had a good breakfast and lunch. Erik and I worked on some poomsaes and self defenses together in the afternoon in between working on the rest of the physical requirements. I still feel a little weak after this Friday but I will be back to normal tomorrow I hope.
Yesterday I spent all morning doing TKD. I also got another mentee session in with Gabriel. After we got home my Far helped me with my new skill I wanted to learn. I learned how to make Danish pancakes. And they turned out pretty good! Today we went for a run and hung out.
I got to train with Ms. Theresa and Luci today. We both trained hard on our push-ups, sit ups, and burpees. I did my longest run ever and completed my poomsaes and self defense and basic kicks. It was great working together. I will work some on my essay and read my book tonight. I will sleep a little later tomorrow.
Today I went to church in the morning. After that I went to a festival and came home at 4pm. When I got home I started on my requirements and a few minutes later, we had guests. So I had to move upstairs and do my stuff.
Really enjoyed my Sunday. First one I have been off in awhile. Got to go to Church with the girls. Then a day of requirements. Got a lot done. Terrance came over and ran with Luci and I and we practiced Self defense as well as all the poomsaes. Now watching football and enjoying wings with my husband.
Happy Sunday everyone! What a great day it turned out to be to train at the park! Oh, that poor cardinal! Many stick, staff and higher belt forms reviewed with Master Tucker and Master Burkart. Thanks for staying even longer to review self-defense, Master Tucker! Some self-defense is more difficult to practice without someone attacking. Maybe I won't be working on requirements as late tonight as most other nights.????
I'm surprised that today was so beautiful after all the rain last night. Today I met Master Dege and Master Burkhart at Mint Hill Park and we trained for 2 1/2 hours!! It's so helpful to train with people who can confirm that I'm not practicing incorrectly. We worked on high belt poomsaes and stick and staff forms. The only sticks form we didn't get to was Double Stick #2. Master Dege and I were also able to work on high belt self defense, especially 3rd Dan 1-step. The weekend was way too short!
Day 30 , and half ways there. If I keep feeling good and on top of things I hope all will be done by day 60.

Today was a great day. In the morning I went to king tiger I got sparring, leadership credits 1 & 2, mentoring, and finally weekend BB class. Then I had lunch. After lunch I worked on my 5+ page essay might as well get started early I was able to get 1 page of it done and I also got to watch TV for a bit. Then we went shopping at Walmart. After shopping we had dinner came home and wen to bed.
I woke up at 8 to get ready for sparring class. After sparring class I helped out with family class, then took black belt class. I also had a mentor session with Master Dege today. When I got home I ate pizza and relaxed for a little while. Later I did my requirements and that pretty much sums up my day.
Well after the weather was in the high sixties and low seventies Last week, today was a reality check, Yes is January and cold again.
Had a blast teaching sparring and black belt class at the North Charlotte dojang. Everyone did a great job! Another trip to the gym, and more requirements done. I can't believe it was actually cold today, I guess Mother Nature is finally ready for winter in the Carolinas?

Morning started with Junior Tigers then collaborating with Master Tucker on various poomsaes. Master Knight taught black belt class today and we worked on quite a variety of things. Had a session with several of my mentees and we worked on bolo form and about half of staff form 2. I am feeling lazy, but need to get busy with today's requirements before my nephew arrives. Looking forward to training with Master Tucker and Master Burkart tomorrow except for the expected temperature.
Got up this morning and felt a lot better. Manged to go to the dojang for sparring etc. in Harrisburg. Instructor Foster gave us a really good workout. We started working on staff form 2 which seems very complex compared to staff form 1. I will get it though and be awesome..... eventually. Master Knight went over 1st dan self defense and knife special with me yesterday and I am trying to work lots on those to get the moves stuck in my head along with everything else.

Today before taekwondo was starting back to class I did my run for the pre-cycle that I missed on the day of the recycle and I ran 2.5 miles in only 16 minutes. I’m really proud of my work and effort that I put in today
Today has been great so far! i helped in the Junior Tigers class this morning, then worked with Master Dege on our creative poomsae- we have lots of ideas! Black Belt class was awesome! We don't do falls very much in regular classes so it was really good to do them in class today. It's not really something I 'practice', but I gave it my all in class! I do need to get better at back-rolls. I'm looking forward to meeting Master Dege and Master Burkhart at Mint Hill Memorial Park tomorrow at 12:30 pm for training. If anyone wants to join, you are welcome to come!
Great start to the weekend. Fun afternoon at Master Chelley’s on Friday helping out with the little tigers class, then working on requirements before Blackbelt class. Good Black Belt class working on stick and staff forms. Today fun Day with Master Knight. Learning some new combinations in sparring as well as how to block the head kick. Very important move for me since most are taller then me and can easily kick my head! The stretching was much appreciated too. Have a great weekend everyone.
