I don't understand. The last day of the quarter for my school is on Friday, yet today was the last day to turn in work. Does that make any sense? Because I don't understand.

After classes and instructor training, I put off requirements this afternoon to have some quality time with my wife and son. Connor is currently doing a rock climbing trip (jealous), so the three of us just enjoyed the outside together, working around the property and hanging out with the neighbors. Later in the afternoon, I got a wild hair and decided to install a outdoor shower. I had the water line previously set for a water faucet, but my neighbor made the suggestion of a outdoor shower which would be right next to the pool and hot tub. As like many of my projects, it's not complete yet. Though I should have it wrapped up by tomorrow. It made for a great afternoon. I really think one of the requirements for the black belt cycle should be family quality time. There is nothing more healthy and meaningful then to have some...
Today my cousins left but before that this is what happened. I woke up and did requirements (surprisingly without waking up anybody) and ate breakfast and headed of to church with my cousins. Then I came home and played outside and then went out for dinner at Zaxby's which is a okay restaurant.
So today I practiced my role more in Black Belt #4 1-step. Yesterday I went to black bet class then to the training at Tae Kwon Do. We had to learn the 10 hypketo forms.
Today i went over to the 9 round that Master Hartle owns. Our group did 6 of the 9 rounds and talked about becoming trainers there. I am very excited about working there!
I could not attend King Tiger the past week because I was on a trip to the outer banks! I had already been before, but this time it was me and my friends, not me and my family. Not that I am complaining, of course, of being with my family, it was just the excitement the allured me. I had never been away from home for more than 24 hours without my parents, and this time I was going away for three days, and two nights! The trip was amazing, I made some new friends, and saw some new places, I wouldn't trade it for the world.
So today I did my normal 2 mile route leaving my house, but when I was on the way back I decided to run more and took Stratton Farm all the way up to the Cedar Field 1 pool and back to my house totaling St about 3.5 miles, so it was pretty nice. However there is one thing wrong with this route. Everytime I go up the road, there's always this dead squirell on the sidewalk, but I can't move it because I'm not wearing any gloves or anything so I don't wanna get diseases or anything but still it is disturbing.
It is Sunday... so I will do a little preaching. We talked about sin today at church. Sin is what we battle everyday. Sin is inside all of us and it feeds on our existing desires. Please note that not all desires are bad... but sin can take any desire and turn it to evil. Bottom line is that we all have to be aware of our desires and fight sin, and NEVER let down our guard. Find your strength in people and faith... and fight your desires and the sin within. On a different... changing topic... Nate and I went to the Lego Brickfair today. Awesome day. Found a Lego Korean Flag and bought it... it is awesome. Tae Kwon Do!!! Keep moving!
today I went to my friends house. I also had a drums lesson today as well. I am really tired and really wished we never had school tomorrow.
Yesterday I couldn't blog because my wi-fi broke down for some reason but we fixed it the next day. Over the weekend, I hung out with my dad, did my king tiger stuff, and went to a party.
today was awesome. we had a nerf war, we raced around the house on plasma cars. and we also had dad heat up the hot tub. It was a great day all all.
Today was very fun since we had the extra class. I very much enjoyed getting some extra training in.
Was an amazing class! I thought today's volunteer class was great and I got a lot out of it when we were doing the new first Dan. Plus even though I already knew the first 10 Hapkido techniques at the end it was to go back to them because I hadn't done those in a while. I got a lot of poomsaes and self defenses from both classes and some more when I went home, along with a run. So today turned out to be pretty good day for requirements.
today was so really long tiring day for me. I went to sparring class then attended Black belt class and then went to soccer directly from the seminar. I am really tired.
So today during black belt class we were going over every single form, self defense, sparring combo, or just about any thing we could go over for the black belt cycle. So it was a pretty nice class since we got to clear some things up and I also can't wait for tomorrow's class.
finally it’s Friday! This week went by so slow. Today I had music/vocal class. Tomorrow I am going to the seminar and also sparring class. Hopefully I learn more new things.
Today has been a great day. I got my overhead press up to 125lbs. Next week I will try to get 135lbs. I am looking forward to tonights class at lakenorman. After that I have my voice lessons.
So today in Civics and Economics we started our unit on politics, and boy is it fun. Now personally myself I've always been more of Republican kinda guy, but when we were doing these tests today to figure out what we sided, I ended up leaning more towards a Tea Party kinda guy which is pretty accurate but still, I felt like the tests weren't good enough. The main test we took only had about 30-40 questions on it and I feel for a test to decide your political party it should probably have about 100. Either way, the test was still pretty accurate, at least for me anyways, however for some people it was kinda off.
Today was a typical day I went to school then to king tiger and helped out in a class, then mentored someone. After that I went home did my homework and went to bed.
I got back into town last night...long trip and long days. Flying on a plane for 4+ hours always messes with my back. May have to get a massage today...lol! Overall a good work trip and very productive. I had limited time to train but back at it today. Will hit CrossFit for 19.5 Open WoD today and also work other requirements throughout the day. Looking forward to the weekend and some much need rest but focused on updating requirements.
Today I woke up and went to school. In first block we played hot potato but whenever you had to ball when the music stopped you had to do a math problem. In second block we did a worksheet on the body systems. In electives we watched a movie because we had a sub. And in fourth block we had to do work from our textbook. I then went to tkd and ate a snack. I then helped with games in the back for a bit and then did a mentor session. After that before sparring I did a mentee session. After sparring I went home, ate and took a shower.
I had a really nice day, I had a very interesting day at school. I took a math test but I feel pretty confident in my answers. After coming home from school. I hung out with my little brother for a little bit then went to tae kwon do for a while. I really enjoyed helping out with class and taking Sparring and another class. I've had a crazy week but things are finally setting down.
Today we had to work on creating a game. We also had a lock down as well because there was a robbery. I am also going to the seminar this saturday at the North Charlotte school.
I decided to reflect on where I was in December and now... I have learned so much new stiff since then, and I am getting much more proficient in my poomsaes and self defenses (specifically). I will state that I still not as flexible as I want to be and my one hip has been acting up... but nothing that I cannot get better and through for the remainder of the cycle. I am excited to test. Nate and I both have been working hard at this and seeing the result. More ahead. Keep moving!!!!
Today in school there was a soccer scrimmage against Harris road. I am also
The past couple days have been nice. One of my best friends since middle school came home after he was in texas for Army Officer school. He was home for 3 days and is now headed to Alabama to start flight school. It is always nice to see him.
So today when I got home, right around before my dinner started and I went for a run down to Harris Teeter real quick to pick up 2 packs of gum. It was about 3 miles and it was a decent run, but boy is it hard to run with 3 packs of gum in your pockets. However it turned out to be a nice run, I gotta couple miles out of it, and I went home and immediately had some burgers.
Today I went to king tiger through the car pool after school. During school we had a history test that I didn't study for, because I forgot, and I got a 70. So now I have a 89 in the class but I will get that grade up soon/ During king tiger today I had a mentee sestion helped in 2 classes and did warm ups once.
Today Master Knight and myself did some school talks from 8:00 to 2:00. Holy cow, that is really hard to do for 45 minutes per group. Fortunately the teachers loved it as well as the students. It's definitely one of Master Knight's gifts. They responded so well to him. I know I will sleep well tonight, after I get through some requirements. A quick shout out to Instructor Suplee. What a great gift it is to give some of our time to help those who don't have a warm bed and roof over their head. Room at the Inn is a phenomenal outreach program. Not that many churches participate in the program, but it defines the role of Christianity and the church, to serve others with nothing in return. Thank you sir for sharing.
today was a very stereotypical version of my every day. I woke up went to school had a math test which I didn't Finish. I go little home work and came to tae kwon do and did all of my excersizes. I then went home and did my homework. Something fun that happened today was that I found out about cool chinese music which I love. It helps me feel at ease.
So this cycle has definitely been one of my harder ones, especcially since my others were in middle school and this one is in high school and my schedule is just jam packed and it's kinda hard to get in runs. So today I took to my advantage and while the rest of my family was taking sticks class in the back room, I took at my leisure to go on a quick 4 mile run, and let me tell you, it felt great. Even though i was as red as a tomato after and was kinda dizzy, I stopped ONCE, but it was because I had to use the bathroom.
Today I finally finished my book, Escaping Fron Houdini. I have to say, I was not expecting the killer to be who it was. This author writes some good books.
Today I woke up and went to school. In first block we did a notebook check, first block is math. In second block we worked on the circulatory system which is in science. In electives we got despersed and did a worksheet. In fourth block we did another notebook check which was in ELA. I then went to taekwondo, ran and did a mentor session. At home I ate dinner, did homework and requirements. After that I took a shower and now im going to sleep.
You ever just, are wearing something so stylish, that you can't do anything physical? See I was wearing a nice American Eagle flex long sleeve today that was black and white along with some really light kacki joggers, and it was pretty cold this morning, while my phone said there would be a high in the 50's. So when I got to King Tiger today after school, I hadn't taken into account how hot it became out, so I could only run 1 mile today because it had become so hot out.
Today was really casual and nothing big happened. We watched a movie in SS though. I was pretty much-doing nothing today. But I was working on game that I was creating but that is it.
I was pondering life today and I one of the things that crossed my mind was that were technically still in winter. this is really unfortunate because Im kinda over winter. CURSE YOU PUXITONY PHILL!!! anyway We got our electives for high school and I chose band and music appreciation. Hopefully they won't be that rigorous
The time I've been waiting for all year. Spring. The sun is out, the weather is warming, and I can finally go running without freezing my neither digits (toes) off. Master Knight and I are doing some school talks at Wolf Meadow Elementary today and it went pretty well. The groups were small enough to manage and the kids had a lot of fun. This is be going on all week. All I can say is, sleep is good. out
slept pretty good last night...had to change my flight to today so I could attend to a personal issue. Flying out at 4:25 this afternoon. Up at 6:30, meditated, trained and then started working to get ready for this trip. Feeling a bit stressed...it is all about work/life balance. During meditation this morning I got a sense that I can only do what I can do. As long as I am taking care of my needs and basics - the irreducible minimums as I like to call them - then all is good and all will work out as it should.
Today I woke up and got ready for school. I made my lunch for later and then ate some oatmeal for breakfast. After breakfast I went to the bus stop and went to school. In math we did surface area and we did notes and work. In second block we worked on cold war notes. In electives I had gym and we played basketball. In fourth block we were dispersed and we did worksheets. After school I went to taekwondo and went on a run. I then took class, went home and ate. Then I did homework, requirements and took a shower.
I'm hoping that the reason that I'm falling asleep in my living room chair is not because of age, but a result of working out hard. It's the crunch time of the cycle and I'm focusing on getting the remaining numbers down to a comfortable level. Got to watch Trent and Tyce play their lacrosse games and win both games today. Both boys looked a little tired in the second game, but they dug deep and did awesome. Then we came home and started working out to be proceeded by the falling asleep in the old man position in the chair. Master Knight and I have a big week as we are going in to Wolf Meadow elementary tomorrow to do some school talks all week. Should be fun and educational as my second time doing this. Hopefully this will bring some new students in our school.
Today was the last day of benchmarks. Even though the benchmarks are over I have a ton of tests this week. So far today I really just studied.
Last weekend I hungout with my friends in birkdale, i had a lot of fun. However I forgot to journal I'm not sure of i'm good on them or not. I think I messed up bad. I will have to ask about it when I have the chance.
Today I got all caught up on signatures for Leadership 1 credits. Overall the day wasn't very eventful. I finally got used to my new Tae Kwon Do requirements and needed to figure out what I needed less and more of
Great night of sleep, great weekend overall. Woke up today at 6:30, meditation, rowing. CrossFit at noon, tough WoD. Have to go to Arizona this week for work but will get most of my requirements in while there.
This has been a very good weekend. I started my Friday evening with helping our church with Rooms At The Inn... this is where we bring in 13 neighbors (homeless gentlemen) to our church and provide them a place to stay for a night. We feed them and give them a chance to take a shower. We also provide a change or cloths and some amenities for them to keep. We do this every Friday. We have to take care of each other in the world. I wish more would do more everyday and it would be a different world we live in. These neighbors are incredible people with incredible stories. These are PEOPLE which are really trying to make changes in life or just have been dealt a bad set of cards. They seek love like we all seek. A hand or hug is sometimes all we need to lift...
Trying to knock down my self defenses and pomsae numbers. Those seems to be the mystery numbers that never seem to be going down. This is March 16th which means there is less than 3 weeks left. If I'm being completely honest, I'm frustrated. I want to focus on how to make a great class, make myself a better instructor, and make the Harrisburg a great dojang, but the requirements are always looming and taking priority. The wife's mad because I'm balancing everything on a delicate string and that string is getting tighter. The reward will be worth it, but the journey is steep. I needed some motivation so while I'm doing some requirements, I'm watching this documentary on Free Solo. It's pretty amazing, and does help my mental state to stay focus on what I want and what I'll do to get there. Ok, I think I ran out of...
yesterday I went to TKD for sparrring and also BBC class. I also learned my knife defence that day as well it is pretty easy actually. I also went to soccer right after that. There so many tall people on the other teams. We had probably all the small kids. On sunday i had a drums lesson. I am also planning on to teach drums as well pretty soon.
Today I got up and went to church. After church I did requirements and finished my Food Science project. Then I did piano class and played with my sister. Now I'm here and have a good day!
So today Luci came over and we ran together. We also tried perfecting the roll we have to do in Bo Cho one-step #4.
Today I got to go to Emma's house and we did some requirements. After our run Master Chelley came over and talked with my mom and Mrs. Lauren while me a Emma worked on our BB stuff. A lot of time was spent fooling around but we did get some done. I also am cleaning and changing my room a bit. I'm moving some furniture and cleaning out old toys to donate. Anyways I had a good day and I hope everyone else does as well.

So I've noticed that I've been behind in my burpees/squat thrusts, so I decided to do 10 every single hour since about 12 in the afternoon, and it definitely helped. I plan on doing this every single, excpex for during school, to finish those off right quick now.
Today I got up did my things and went to Sparring class. After that I did requirements and did B.B.C. Later I went to a birthday party and stayed there longer than I planned to but it's okay.
This morning I got to take my written and physical test. I missed the scheduled one since I was sick last weekend. After class i went and had a great workout in the gym. Tonight I am going out to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
A while back I and some others did the black belt test although I never had the chance to blog it untill now. I think I did good on the written test with a 97 I think is what I got. For the physical test I did better than the pre test. And got 8:32 for my mile run. I think I should have done better on pull ups, but I at least tried.
When I got out of school today, I was really ready to go on a run as soon as I got home, but then the rain hit. And it didn't stop. And then the sidewalks got covered in mud and rain. I was truly disappointed and very sad. I also had a presentation today on housing development and ecological effects such as environmental health risks, ecosystem effects, poverty's rates, etc. And to be honest, I LOVE presenting to people, but I kinda didn't rehearse the night before because I got home at like 10. So the it's supposed to be a 7-8 minute presentation, but because I didn't know how long mine was, I just talked really fast and did it in 5. So my teacher said I got high B, but really, I think i deserve worse.
Had to work today...did not make it to Saturday class..bummed.Woke up at 6am, mediated, rowed, some training. Still sore from last CrossFit...got a massage yesterday afternoon...helped a little.
today at school we had NO sub.we had yoga but we didn’t go outside.at music we watched a movie about Beethoven.at recess we played football and someone got banned from football ????.at math i finished early and got to play on an iPad.after school me and my dad went to get ice cream and I’m going to play Fortnite with my friends.
Today at school we had another sub and nothing was normal.at per we played ???? king of the cancel and sabio won the hole game. At math it was easy but...somebody in the class had told the sub the wrong thing.and at lunch we ara supposed to eat outside but we didn’t.
Today we had our math benchmark and I think I did really good on it. I really didn't struggle on any of the questions at all. Today i went to get Cleats and other soccer stuff because tomorrow soccer is starting for me. I am really exited about this soccer season.
Today, we had our math benchmarks. Unlike all the others, me and the other Math 1 attendants who are in 7th grade will have to take ANOTHER "Math 1" benchmark on Monday. I'm not sure what I got on the regular math benchmark, I'm about to check right now.
Today has been a relaxing day. I did my requirements this morning and have just been laying around for the day. I have black belt class tonight and then my voice lessons.
So today during math, about the first half of math felt pretty normal, going with the flow it usually does, but after that, every minute seemed like an hour. We were taking the "geometry of circles to next level" as Mr. Cross said. We were doing all these lengths of arcs and a bunch of other normal stuff that we had already done, but it also kind of tied in because today was pi day.
Tomorrow i have a math benchmark and I am pretty excited about it than I was for ELA. Math I can actually understand and look for different ways for the final answer but ELA you can only find the answer in one way and that is if you understand the text. But yeah i also had soccer tryouts and i did pretty good.
Great night of sleep...got right at 7 1/2 hours. Up at 6:30am...rowed, sit ups, meditated for 30 mins. Getting ready for work today, going to be a long day. Will do CrossFit at noon - Open workout 19.4. Black belt class last night was very good....thank you Master Cavazos. Poomsaes were not that solid for me...still having mental/memory issues. Short stick forms 1, 2 & 3.
Tonight we had color belt testing at the Lake Norman Dojang. Everyone there did great and I am proud of them all. With the Black belt test closing in, I cant wait to test myself. I am feeling motivated!
Today I had benchmarks, they are these tests that we receive every quarter. The teachers take these results and see where you are right now, and where you are projected to be on the EOG's/ EOC. I saw what I got and I'm proud to say that I got a 100! My day has been great ever since then.
Today we got cot up on requirements that we fell behind on. We ran far and wile we ran we did exercises then came back did some jump rope then ate and finished up the rest of are requirements, we are almost finished but not all the way done.
Yesterday I helped out with testing for the lower belts which was fun and I've helped out with a testing before. I attacked people for self defense and at the end handed out new belts and certificates.
Did not sleep very well last night...way too many sounds going outside. Up around 7am, rowed, worked out and then meditated. CrossFit at noon....brutal but knocked a ton of pullups, pushup, squats and others. Blackbelt class tonight at 7:30pm...trying to get there early to do some pomsae's.
I have recently started writing my own book! It is called "Jupiter's Angel." It is a revenge story. So far I am only 34 pages into it, but it's a work in progress. I hope it all works out very well. I mean, who knows, it might even get published!
Today I had soccer tryouts. I honestly thought I could have done way better than i did today. Tomorrow I am going to do my very level best. I also have a ELA benchmark tomorrow. ELA is my worst subject. I have never been good at English at all. But so far today was a normal day for me.
So today my dad and I went to Best buy because my mic and his xbox controller we're broken, but we had a warranty so went to trade them in. However... When I was refunded my $80 and I went to buy the same one again, the warranty cost had gone up from $15 to $25! It was truly an outrage and I felt like they were robbing me of my money!... Even though it was a really good mic.
So as I mentioned in my last journal I haven't been sleeping well lately and today was exhausting. I didn't even do much but just running one mile for me was hard. I think some of it is due to my developing cough but hopefully I can fix that up and try to sleep a little more. The only things I am lagging on right now are my basic kicks (easy) and my pull ups (also easy). Anyways I hope I feel better and that no one else is getting what I have.
I am back from yet another business trip. This time I traveled to the cold weather of Toronto, Canada. I am happy to be back home. I am truly grateful for everything I have and I am content with what we have. I do not need or want anything else in my life. I have God, my wife, kids, family, and friends, and that is all I need. We can very easily forget how lucky many of us are as we live our daily lives because we get so wrapped up in our lives, that we forget to live and enjoy the moment. I found some of that during this trip. I found myself just taking a moment to be grateful, even in the hectic airport and crazy traveling around the city. Just stop and look at something, and just enjoy the moment. I had to take a train from downtown...
Great black belt class last night...self-defense and single stick forms.Woke up this morning at 6:30. Rowed, meditated and having oatmeal and water for breakfast. Full day of work today but planning on going to CrossFit later this afternoon. During meditation this morning I spent the majority of the time on being thankful and grateful...so much to be grateful today it is overwhelming at times.
It is official, my art teacher is pregnant. The kids said that she is 2 months, but I’ve suspected it since September during fall camp. She’s doesn’t even teach Bieber so I can’t imagine what the rest of the year would be like.
Today I didn't have school. I got some of my requirments knocked of . I am really worried about this week because we have benchmarks. And the benchmarks aren't the normal ones they are the EOG benchmarks which are 4 hours long , we even eat our lunch 2 hours after our normal lunch.
Today was pretty regular and nothing particularly exciting or fun happened. I didn’t feel great mostly because I haven’t been sleeping well recently. In my STEM class we started a new project which seems kinda but also complex. Anyways that was my day happy Tuesday.
This past week has been very frustrating since i was sick. I did not get to go to the gym or to the dojang. I had to miss the written and physical test. Yesterday I was able to go to TKD thanks to dayQuil haha.
I've had a really nice day, I'm already feeling back to normal besides a cough, but that always resides for weeks after I get sick. I was able to spend my day with my brother and had a really nice day, I'm really grateful that I didn't have school today. Unfortunately school begins anew tomorrow, officially starting the fourth quarter. I'm both nervous and excited to be so close to the end of my sophomore year.
Today started at 6am as usual. Rowing, meditation, coffee, work. Going to black belt class tonight. Still working on finding the balance between training and work. Crossfit yesterday left me sore most of the day with overhead squats and the WOD.
Got the written and physical test out of the way. The written test would probably be more of the challenge for me. I do not have a mind for foreign languages and remembering all the Korean words is tough. I have enough problems with English. Today, some of you got to see Grandmaster Evins really mad. And I don't blame him one bit. It's not difficult to figure out what this is all about. This should be something you can look back on and feel proud about because of what you went through. Don't screw it up by short cutting yourselves. Not to mention, it was pretty dumb. I mean, no one was invisible out there, so why would they think they could go for a stroll and not get caught. If you haven't figured it out, one shirker can bring down the whole group on the overnight test. Respect each...
Is it just me, or did anyone else feel like today was different? Like I know how sometimes a Monday might feel like a Friday or something, but today was unique, and had this vibe that I've never felt before. I felt it when I went to School, and about halfway thrithr the day, it just felt like I shouldn't be there, it was just kind of weird.
Today was a very slow day at school. I was really tired and I wanted to take a nap. We got to play kahoots in math today. I didn’t play because I barely understand the math. I’m glad I didn’t play.
Today was really slow so far and the good thing is that I don't have school tommorow. I also have benchmarks this week. So far today I went to school then came back, did some of my requirments then played.
It's been a mixed day, my brother came home from college for the week since he's on spring break and it's always nice to see him so that's good. On the other hand, I've gotten pretty sick. It's only something mild, thankfully, and I'm already feeling much better, but it still king of prevented me from hanging out with my family as much as I wanted to so that brought me down a bit. I don't have school tomorrow so that's good.
When I went for a run earlier today, I decided to try out a new route and see how far it was. So living in Cedar field, my house is right off of Stratton Farm. So I took a right there, and went straight all the way down to the end of the road, where I then took a left on to the main Street. Eventually I ran upon one of the main entrances into my neighborhood, where I followed the main Street which lead right back onto Stratton Farm, where I could just backtrack my route to get back to my house. It was pretty nice route, and summed be to be a nice 2 miles, so it was a pretty good run.
The previous Saturday held the Black Belt Physical and Written test. We (BoChoDans) started our run at 8:00AM, and the continued with the rest of our physical exam. Such precedings were : Sit-ups, Push-ups, Burpies, Pull-ups, and Jump Ropes. After all of that, we did the written portion, and most of us got our results back. Some people left afterwards, but I and most others stayed for Black Belt Class. I hope everyone else has had an amazing day.
Today I woke up and ate a bagel, my mom started making eggs. She was making the eggs for tuna and after it was made it was really good. After I watched some Youtube and chilled out. I then went for a run and did requirements. After all this I took a shower. I then ate dinner and watched some more Youtube. Now i'm going to sleep.
Today I got did my things and went to church with my family. Then I came home did requirements and had piano class. After that I went to my friend's house with my family and had dinner at Alino's Pizzeria with them (my friends)
today me and my dad played badminton. I also really tired and my body is really sore from the test yesterday. I also have benchmarks this week as well as well as soccer tryouts which I know i'm not going to make because the coach picks favorites.
Great morning at King Tiger for our Black Belt Written and Physical Tests. I was able to pretty much able to beat my baseline scores. The only place I got the same was with pull ups. But that is okay... I will continue to work to build more strength. I was extremely proud of Nate. He worked really hard to beat his times. I know he is my son, so of course I am proud... but he truly amazes me. I need to travel again this coming week, but this should be the last until after testing. Keep moving!!!
today in TKD we had the physical and written tests. I think I did pretty good . My book was pretty Goff as well I just need to redo or change one of my essay and that is pretty much it.
Today we had our physical and written test, and I feel like I did pretty decent. I improved Mile by about a minute, which I feel good about. I also felt pretty confident in all of my answers for the written test. I hope everyone else did good and have a good night!
Today I had to wake up early to go to the physical and written at the North Charlotte. I ran a mile, then did the rest of the physical stuff. And then we had to do the written test. The written test was really hard but I got most of the questions right.
So today was the BBC physical and written test and I believe I did good. The only thing that I didn't beat was my sit ups which was disappointing considering that I am good at those. I am a little bit mad at myself because I forgot to bring my book and that was very irresponsible, I hope I can fix it. I beat my running time by almost a minute which I was really happy about. I think that after the cycle ends I will still continue running, maybe not as consistently but definitely over the summer.
Fridays are great. Get to sleep in a little, catch up on all the things around the house. Help the boys with their school day (school is at home on Friday), and have some family time. Tomorrow is the written and physical test, so for the rest of this day I will be studying and working on my essays. I was a white belt yesterday in class and there were a lot of different reactions to the students. The most common one was, I messed up and Master Knight took away my black belt. It would have been more enjoyable to leave it at that than to explain over and over about the black belt cycle, but it gave them a little glimpse of something they will hopefully be doing. So, I am signing off here to work on another essay, yes, I procrastinated a bit, and figure out how to...
Today we had our Black Belt Physical and Written Test. I wasn't there for the Physical pre-test so I didn't know exactly what we were supposed to do. Yesterday I had no clue how they were going to keep track of around 20 peoples time, especially considering the times were so exact.
