Woke up and went early shopping with Mother. When I got I began working on my requirements and ran a mile. Hoping tomorrow goes well too
Woke up and went early shopping with Mother. When I got I began working on my requirements and ran a mile. Hoping tomorrow goes well too
Went to high belt class today. Was very distracted though. Had a massive headache but powered through as best i could. It was good to be back though. Do to some unfortunate mold issues in my house the past week or so has been rough and i haven't been able to get to class much. It was good to get back and work out some. I always feel better after working out and sweating.
Burpees are tough, and so are lounges. But it seems that without pain, growth is likely to be stalled. I managed to complete the cycle requirements for day 3, and by now I have concluded that we must feel pain all day long throughout this period. There’s almost no joy, well except for the silent voice incessantly repeating “no pain no gain”! My old TKD instructor used to say that so many times, now it’s almost haunting!
So today I'm not horribly sore, but I think this might be due to the Prednisone I'm taking due to hip bursitis. I have four more days of that and I guess we'll see how things feel. I can still feel the muscle fatigue though, so make so mistake I'm not speeding happily through this due to roids. I ended up with a client today that went half through my lunch hour, so unfortunately I was not able to get my milage in so I'm planning on getting up tomorrow early and trying to walk in what seems to be passing as an oven outside before God turns up the heat to bake biscuits or whatever else is on the menu. I'd also like to get some of the other requirements done early since I'm supposed to get an updated tetanus shot tomorrow (oh joy)!
Today in the morning and afternoon I did my requirements. Ran a few miles on my treadmill to get prepared for Saturday. Tomorrow, I will begin reading the required book because I start school in the fall. I want to get my essay done before then.
So far the cycle has been very tiring. I am VERY sore all over my body. It is my first time doing the cycle. My first run was surprisingly the easiest so far. But the running has still been going smoothly. Today I woke up and almost immediately started my requirements. Today I did more push ups and sit ups than the other days. But I did have to do double pull ups because I couldn't do them yesterday. Despite the pain, I am excited to do the cycle because whether I pass or fail, I will still be glad I did it.
It's Monday and that means back to work. Spent some time at home working on physical requirements (but no running in this heat - I'm not behind on mileage). Since I was working, I had to stop here and there to knock out some stuff in my home office. It beats when I was a bocho and was literally doing pushups, etc. on the office carpet IN the office. Went to the dojang tonight and helped with class. Then color belt class was great. Lots of hard work and lots of sweat and I also learned I've been pulling a few kicks so I know what I need to work on. Then home for dinner and some self defense practice before bed. Hopefully tomorrow I can be up and ready in enough time to knock out a mile or two before 8am rolls around again. I'd like to get ahead and...
Today was MY official first day of the cycle. Being away at cross country camp at Wake Forest kept me from starting on Saturday like everyone else. I woke up today and immediately got cracking on requirements to catch up. Luckily I am almost completely caught up, just an extra round of push-ups, sit-ups, burpees, and all my jump rope from the past 3 days to do (doesn't sound too bad). It took some time and a lot of balanced thoughts to make it through today. Transitioning from training hard everyday at camp, always having someone to talk to and something to do, to having little to do, was definitely challenging. I also assisted with class this evening and took part in the first (I believe) 2nd Dan and higher class at the Lake Norman location; I enjoyed working on the high level stuff. Overall, was a very productive day and...
This is day three. I am just going to say it... I am sore. That is a good thing... means I am doing something right. :-) I went to LKN school today and instructed in class. I just like instructing the students. Especially the kids just starting. I like to teach with practicality. I want them to think about why they are doing something, not just the what. It helps me remember and hopeful will help them as well. Some of the best instructors have shown me the practicality of what we do and that always sticks with me. I am excited for this cycle and working hard. I started putting some thought into my creative. Need to work on that this weekend. Have a great night.
Another day of the cycle and more things to do. I was able to complete my planned requirements today and make up for what I didn't do yesterday. In the evening, I went to assist a class at my dojang. The plan for tomorrow is to wake up early and get my run in so I don't melt into a puddle on the ground in the scorching heat.
Today was tuff. I did sleep till 9am, I guess I needed it. It was a struggle to get motivated. Despite this struggle, I was able to get my first essay about the book I read completed. I was in a bit of a rut as it was my first day for my technology challenge. I can relate to the book I read regarding 13 things strong kids do especially the part about think good and blue thoughts. I found myself having negative thoughts, bringing myself down not being able to be on electronics. I can also relate to having time to myself just like the character in the book. Today, I actually took time to myself and read a different book outside twice. Then I found myself sitting still looking through the window outside and that was enough. Then this evening was a long day at TWD as I got...
Hello everyone!!! I can't wait to really get into cycle! Today I woke up and ate breakfast. After I called my friend and we played Minecraft for a little bit. When she had to go I did all of my requirements. I then ate lunch and cleaned my room. When I finished I went and saw Despicable Me 4. After I finished, I stopped by my friend's lemonade stand and got some lemonade and then went home. Then I got ready for TKD and headed to the 5:15 class. I helped out and led punches and kicks. Then I did a mentor session with Master Natasya then took the 6:00 class. After the 6:00, I did a mentee session with my mentee, Jackson. We had a good session and when it ended, I went home. I ate dinner then talked to my friend for a little bit and now I am...
When I woke up this morning, I ate pancakes for breakfast and then we went to Champions. Champions is a workout place and I did all of my workout there - ran a mile, did push-ups/pull-ups, everything. It was really fun. In the afternoon I did taekwondo - two classes and Master Marcus told us to go to the back and we worked on self defenses. When I got back home I wrote this. It was a great day.
If you haven’t been on the cycle before let me tell you the first week is the hardest. Especially if you’re running in 90 degree weather. Although I’ve been working hard I have found ways to enjoy myself while doing requirements and thinking about how great it will be to get my third. Focusing on color belt curriculum to be prepared for the pretest. Working on stamina and pushing through obstacles. See everyone tomorrow.
These days are very hard right now. My body is getting used to all of these intense workouts, it can get fun if you put in some effort. Keep doing your essays and journals, if you get lazy and don't do it, you will fall behind and not accomplish everything.
Questions and thoughts...... This morning I woke up, played with my puppies and relaxed. I have summer camp, so I'll get my requirements completed after camp. Current biggest struggles are: 1.Essays - Where / How do I find my information? ( I've never been on a blackbelt cycle, so this is nrw. - my previous school did not have blackbelt cycles like King Tiger ) 2. Sit ups - are a struggle. I can do crunches, but those are not sit ups. I can do a sit up if my feet are under something, but that will not help while in tbe dojang. Suggestions on how to build stomach muscles so I can do my sut ups, or are crunches ok? 3. I need a mentee- I don't know any of tbe KT kiddos outside of camp, Saturday, or blackbelt. This makes getting a genteel a huge challenge for me.
Good morning, Just finished doing my requirements. Sore but still going. I have a junior tigers class and my first black belt class today.
7/15/24 Journal
This weekend I spent time writing all the Poomsae's step by step with some memory "jogs" to help me remember them. I know I have known and will re-learn all of these but i seem to be struggling with them, especially when no one can help me!
I dont feel as prepared as I would like to be going into this. I would like to have taken more time to lay out a plan and get myself better organized. I generally go-with-the-flow but this is going to take some planning and preparation.
Ilve really enjoted the Atomic Habits book- reading it prior to starting t
Good morning, everyone! Yesterday was very tiring. I didn't think that getting back into the cycle with requirements was going to be that hard, but I was wrong. My arms are sore, and my core is aching from the number of push-ups, sit-ups, burpees, and pull-ups I've done. I am looking forward to today, as I have a lot of things planned this afternoon at TKD. I am hoping I will be able to do my mentor and mentee sessions today, but we will see how it turns out. I am planning on completing my requirements in a few, after I finish a few assignments from a class I'm taking. Have a wonderful day!
I figured it out and finally got into KTBB website just now and it turned out to be ALL MY FAULT. I can admit my mistakes (mostly). Sorry for bugging you, Master Chelley. Actually, I will probably text you later on today. I have begun my requirements.... Yay!!
Tired from being in Pineville Park all day today, but still managed to get my miles in. Starting my new routine tomorrow.
Very sore today, but pushing through. Had a mentee session at the birkdale which was nice and shaded.
I started this morning working on my Pomsae’s getting ready for my pre test. I went to the school to run on the track with my Dad for my mile run. I was really tired afterwards but I pushed hard. I also did pushups and jump rope there. I will keep working hard everyday.
I had quite a long day today so unfortunately I couldn't get many requirements in. I woke up early and went to church, came home, then left again for a youth group event! It was a very long event so I ended up coming home later than expected and very tired.
7/14. today was pretty normal again, I onlygot done part of my run because my Sever's was acting up. I did a mentor session with Instructor Courtney which wa helpful. the only thing I didn't do today was my kicks
Today was tough, but I rose to the challenge. Woke up earlier than usual and completed my daily cycle requirements in 40mins, plus a little extra work. Frankly it feels like it’s going to be a challenge cranking up like this on some busy weekdays, especially with the timed exercises which encourages you to keep going. We’ll see!
Between cycle requirements, shopping ,and taking the two youngest to the gym it's definitely a sweaty and sore experience. I realized about 30 seconds into weight training that neither of my kids had ANY real knowledge of etiquette in a weight room. Towels in the middle of the floor, not wiping equipment, banging weights....oh, what a teaching opportunity we had! Samuel did say yesterday that he was "pulling Shrek's ears" when I asked him where he disappeared to. I asked him to show me, because I couldn't think of any equipment that looked like that. Turns out that a skiing simulator has handles that-you guessed it- look just like Shrek's ears! I want to go try it at some point, but that may have to wait until my kids can navigate the equipment without getting strange looks from other people.
I had a great mentoring session this am with Courtney. We worked on poom sae's, and will continue on our next session. I also did 20 minutes of poom sae practice at home tonite, in addition to the other requirements. I'm feeling pretty confident about the pre-test this weekend.
Got up this morning and worked on forms and self-defenses. It felt a bit weird doing Black Belt weapons forms and color belt self-defenses but I need to stay sharp on everything. Sometimes you just have to mix it up.I did the first 12-hour block of the digital detox. It was very weird. It would have been a nice distraction from how tired all my muscles feel. I'll be glad once I get into a groove.
Hello, first ever cycle for me as I earned my 1st and 2nd Dan many years ago at a different school and a different system. Most of my Taekwondo career has been in the ITF style so, I'm still learning and perfecting the forms and self defenses for WTF style. The basics are all the same with just some slight differences in terminology thankfully. I'm a bit apprehensive because I'm not an athlete by any stretch and I've never done a testing this long and involved before. This will also be interesting because i work third shift and sleep during the day getting up in the evening to go to (Taekwondo) class and then start work at 11pm. So, my time is fairly limited to interact with people and things during daylight hours.
Anyhow, i'm looking forward to be motivated to get more exercise than normal and one of my main goals during this is to lose at least 20lbs in 12 weeks which i think is a very attainable goal. In that regard i'm giving up all snacks and the like. Chips, crackers, cookies, pork rinds, deserts etc, etc... for the duration and drastically limiting my soda intake. I still love my Dr. Peppers so i definitely need at least one daily reward. Do
Today I went to church at Christ Point, where we had a guest speaker preach. I don't remember his name but I know that it was a very good sermon. After I went over to my friends house where we played for a bit. Then came home did my requirements and now enjoying the rest of the day.
This is the second cycle for Nate and I as we are working on our 4th Dan. Today is day two, so working to get back into the cycle. Not there yet... just figuring out the timing for everything and what classes we will be attending and instructing at, etc. We are planners, so we will prep as much as we can. I definitely took too much time off in between the two cycles, so going to need to crash course on everything to catch back up. It is all in my brain, just need to get it back to the front. :-) I am excited and ready to get going.
Today was a day of rest. My legs are sore. I used the whole day to slowly get my requirements done. We did not have any errands to run. I did my laundry yesterday. I had to start my nutrition challenge over because I did not realize it was for 30 days. Tomorrow will be day 2 of this challenge. My goal for tomorrow will be to start typing up some of my essays. Maybe even tackle the technology challenge.
Hey guys, Back on the cycle again, and this time will be different. I am 100% focused and confident in my success. Anyway, the first day I was having troubles with the website so that’s why I didn’t post yet. I’m currently in Maine visiting my family and today I played a lot of cornhole. I drove my grandfathers side by side as well. Yesterday, was a family party with games, water balloons and a lot of food. Because of this stuff my goal is too have all requirements caught up tomorrow although I’ve done a bunch of stuff already. Excited to crush the cycle with you guys!
The second day of cycle was well. First I went to Carowinds which was AWESOME, after that I ran a mile, that was tiring because I was running around to all the attractions. So after that I only did sit-ups and jump rope because I was really tired and sore so tomorrow I’ll do extra work to catch up. I still am excited for day three of cycle!!!
I can't believe that the cycle has finally started. I'm so excited for this cycle. Today I did my first mile, but I ran more than a mile and I went to poomsae class. Yesterday I went to the quarry in Mooresville with my three friends and we jumped off of rocks. There was one that was 18 feet high, I did it one time, it was super fun.
Today I got up, went to the park and practiced some stick and staff forms and reviewed tbe high belt self defense in the air. It's challenging to do the real self defense on grass. After that, I came home and did my jump rope requirement. Then did some errands, took a nap, and finished up my requirements. I've found I need to spread my requirements throughout the day, because the amount has dropped, partially from being sore. I do not have any way to do my pull up requirements at home, so I'm behind in those.
Good afternoon, I'm already two days in and sore. I thought that the first two week would be easy but I was mistaken. I'v already been working hard and sore and it's only day two. I just finished my work for day two and I am practically dying. I also just finished Atomic Habits ( I'v been reading it since June).
Yesterday at Saturday black belt class we did our color belt poomsaes and self-defenses and I got my book from master Chelley. Today I am doing requirements preparing for pre-test.
Good Morning to everyone. I'm surprised to say this but even though we are all only 2 days in, it has been quite a bit of a challenge. I thought it would be workouts and curriculum and stuff like that but i was certainly wrong. you will really need to push yourself even if you're tired or just don't want to do it. You also will have a lot of homework (and any other requirements) so do it before anything else or you will get behind.
this is my second day of the cycle and I want to just say I feel like I'm on a good start I have to end strong too or else the start is worth nothing
Good morning, everyone! Even though it's only day 2 of the cycle, my body is already is starting to feel sore. Yesterday was a long day. I started my 30-day challenge, which is limiting sweets. This is pretty hard for me because I have a really big sweet tooth, but I keep reminding myself to stay focused. After finishing my requirements, we went to the temple and came home late. I just woke up and started writing this. I am planning on doing my requirements in a bit. This cycle is definitely different than the rest since the curriculum has changed and I am not used to doing everything by time yet. Have a wonderful day!
Woke up today really dizzy but nonetheless still woke up in time to get to morning class. Got home and read through the new clack belt cycle belt and there were a lot of changes. Still trying to finalize a schedule that I will keep up with throughout the whole journey.
So excited to restart the cycle again. The one for my Master. Different than any other cycle before. I started my career and am not at tkd as often as I use to be. I’m live downtown Charlotte, which can interfere with my time management (traffic!). But I know what is expected and I know if I prioritize the cycle, I will have good results. With the audit cycle, My skating group and developing new Friendships and relationships was also a priority. My new job and the change in my sleeping hours was also a priority. But I feel Establish in my career and with my friendships that I can put a lot more energy towards cycle. I’m excited for the growth!
Today was a very busy day for me. Last night I stayed up till 3:35 am then I had to head to tae kwon do from 9:00 to 12:20. Then after that I came home and relaxed until I had to do my other requirements.
Today, the first thing when I woke up was literally go to Tae Kwon Do. I brushed my teeth and my brother and I went to the Dojang, where I was met with a very fun sparring class and lots of requirements to look forward to. After all the classes we had a health seminar, done by Dr. Shears. It was a very good seminar I heard. Then I went home and my friends came over, and we swam, and played basket ball, with some more fun things. Though I had to do more requirements even when they were there. We enjoyed ourselves very much for the rest of the time. Can't for more to come.
today was pretty normal, I just got back from camp so I was pretty tired. I slept until like 6:30pm and did my run at 7:30pm then did all my other things except for pullup, plank, and jump rope
My first day of cycle was great, sunny and beautiful, starting with black belt class and ending with my workout and daily requirements. I tried to get my run in this afternoon, but decided to wait until it cooled down a bit. Started eating healthier today, including no ice cream, or other sweets in the middle of the night, or anytime, really. Let's see how this goes. This is acually harder for me than the physical requirements. Looking forward to tomorrow when I'm planning to meet up with my mentor. This cycle is really special for me because I'm doing it with my son, Dylan. He asked me to join him in class a few years ao, and after much hesitation, I finally agreed to give it a try. Glad we're on this journey together.
I've never participated in a blackbelt cycle before. Blackbelt exam experiences at my previous school were much different. I have /will be setting a daily alarm to remind me to journal, and add my information that is needed ( once I figure out where it goes - I'll ask my mentor) I figure by the end of my cycles I'll be in the best shape of my life.
My first day was great! My mentor session went good, my only struggle with it was to keep Tripp focused. We worked on poomse, self defense, and kicks I think Tripp did pretty good on his kicks, he did great on his poomse only a few mistakes, and he did very good on his self defense. My workout went well, I did excellent on my run. I look forward to day 2 of black belt cycle.
I can't believe I'm already back on the black belt cycle, I feel like I was just on last year. I went to black belt class in the morning, as usual, nothing out of the ordinary, it was mostly a reviewing the basics class. We touched on staff and stick forms a bit too. When I got home, I relaxed for a while before getting into the requirements. Getting back into the pacing of the cycle will definitely not be easy, but I'm looking forward to the journey this cycle!
Welcome to the bochos and welcome back to us repeat offenders! Today is also Mark's and my 28th wedding anniversary. If you had asked me over a quarter of a century ago what I'd be doing as an opener for an anniversary morning I would NOT have said going to black belt class. That is what we did, however, and we've been working on requirements since then. We went to the gym and got some milage cranked out, turned on 80's rock and got the other requirements done. It's so much easier when you have someone to work with!
Hello everyone. Welcome back to everyone who's done this before and greetings to all the new folks. Today's our 28th anniversary so we exchanged gifts, went to class, and then came home and practiced. I always forget how exhausted you actually are, especially at the end of day one. But that's one day in the books desire the dog's best attempts to interfere with our pushups, situps, and burpees. I feel pretty good about most of my forms - just need to work on the Second Dan self defenses though I know I need to work on more than just that.
Hey I started my cycle today and also did my pre-test. I am excited to be on this cycle. I helped out in a junior tiger class and did sparring
Today began the King Tiger black belt grading training cycle for 2024. I am one of those on the cycle, and welcome everybody. I led the training today with the black belt team at King Tiger of North Charlotte. We stretched and in no particular order completed 40 push-ups, 40 seat-ups, kick and punch combos, taeguks, koryo, short stick forms, and staff forms. #Meditation#fine tuning all forms#fine tuning combination sequences.
Good morning, everyone! As of today, the cycle has officially started. I am super excited to officially start training to become a master. Today, I woke up and went to black belt class. We mainly focused on color belt curriculum, which was great because Master Chelley wanted to make sure we had our basics down. I got a lot of requirements done during class and will finish the rest today soon. We are planning on heading out today. Have a wonderful day!
This is my second time of the cycle, but my mindset has changed from last time, now I want to improve, rather than give up though it's difficult, this new start will help me achieve getting my second degree black belt.
today I had to go back to school so I was extremely sleep deprived. So I got nothing rlly done but it’s fine.
Toady was a fun day at home. I woke up and had to go to work with my mom. When I got home I played Fortnite with my friends for the rest of the day.
i started studying for ap exams cuz I need the extra studying. then I went to work and now I'm about to eaat dinner.
Today I woke up and didn’t have school because I’m on spring break! Then science it’s April Fools day which everyone seems to have forgotten about I pranked my friend and told them we had school today. When my dad got home from work we ate lunch and then we worked on our garden. When I went to TKD I helped with class and once I got home ate dinner and read a book.
today i went to the fair with my family and now i am going to play fortnite with my friends
Today I went to my sisters college at UNC chapel hill and then once I came home did homework. After that I watched a movie with my parents.
Today started with work at the dojang. Helped with family class and little tigers. At home I was outside most of the day cause of how nice it was.
Today I woke up early and helped make breakfast. Then I took a shower and I am now getting ready to go to my friend brye's birthday party
Today was a fun day because my friends were coming over for a sleepover. At school I had a test and I got a 100 on it. After school my friends came over and we played soccer . When it turned about 9 we came inside and made some forts
spring break! Im finally done with school for another week so I get to chill.
Today I went to school and I had to leave early because I got sick. Then I went home and went to sleep and I got up later to eat some Ramen. Now I'm going back to sleep.
Today I woke up and went to school after I got there I had math class and we had a test and it was and easy 100. After school I went TKD and helped with class. When class was over I help a fellow student with knife defense and that was my day.
Im just waiting for spring break to start so im just procrastinating all my homework until then :)
Greetings fellow…fellow…fellow…tea ceremony-waiters? It’s just not the same as saying fellow cyclers. I’m not running into the dojang or the house anymore because I forgot my book, or journaling daily, or in the backyard practicing poomsaes. It just feels weird, like there’s a unfillable void that I have no power over. I miss assisting with class (wait, I still do that), or going through hapkido 4 & 5 thousands of times with my mentor, or hearing the protests of my mentee after telling him his Pal Chang needs work. There are some effects to the ending of the black belt cycle. Am I missing it? Who would have thought? Anyway, I just wanted to say that everyone did great during testing and it’s amazing how much we all persevered; so pat yourself on the back! And I also want to thank all the instructors and especially the masters for leading the...
Toady I woke up went to school and had a great day. After that I came home and did homework until 8. Then I ate dinner and now I’m about to sleep .
I haven't done a journal since I hit 50 so I decided to just do one now. The spring 24 cycle is finally over, im so proud of myself, my friends and everyone else who made it through testing, it was a difficult night and having to do it again in the morning was even tougher, I am so grateful that I got to do the cycle alongside so many amazing people. I'd first like to thank my parents for pushing me to do this and getting through it, I would also like to thank Master Foster and Master Knight for helping me prepare for it. It's been a long 3 months but it finally paid off. It felt weird not having to do any requirements and just getting my first day off in a while. I can't wait till the tea ceremony! That's it for today.
Today I was a alright day. But I was scrolling on tiktok and a saw a video of David Goggins doing his runs and his intense training and it kind of reminded me of the cycle when I saw it, he was saying, "They dont know me son" and "Whos going to carry the boats, and the logs" which gave me motivation to strive harder
Today I woke up pretty late and had breakfast. After that I helped with gardening in my backyard. This was kinda exhausting because the dirt weighed a ton and I had to lift it. After that I got groceries and came home. Then I finished up with some homework and ate dinner.
Still sore after testing but i got up and dealt with it. I had to edit a video for school which took up most of my day but other than that it was chill
Hello! I know I haven’t done an entry in a few days since i’ve hit my 50 journals but i thought it would be good to do one. Today I got picked up early by a really good friend of mine and we went to church together. We also went to lunch at culver’s which if you haven’t gone to you should give it a try. At lunch I came up with the brilliant idea to give him a haircut. His parents said that would be okay and we went to his house and I indeed cut his hair. It looks great by the way and I’m very surprised with myself for doing so because i’ve never once cut anyone’s hair. I did get some help from his mom but I did some too. When I got home It was weird not having to do any requirements or any class even...
Today was a great day and the testing was fun. I am happy I broke my boards and also my brick. After I got home I slept for about five hours and after that I watched a show with my dad.
we're finally done with our testing! thank you to all the masters, instructors, and other cyclists for making this journey one to remember.
I would like to say thank you to all the people that helped me during the cycle. I would like to say thank you to master Natasha as my mentor and getting my curriculum straight for the cycle, And Master Chelly and Master Marcus for all the constructive criticism they gave me that helped me get my work up. I also want to thank Grand Master Evins for the privilege to be on the cycle. Lastly I would like to thank Master Foster and Master Knight for letting the cyclists do the testing at their school. Then I would like to thank my dad and my little brother Johnathan for cheering for me in the background, and I'm sorry that my mom couldn't be there to watch me break my brick for the second time.
Today was testing! I broke all my stuff but now I'm sore and bleeding a bit. Other than that it was a fun day. I gotta catch up on homework now.
I just came back from the black belt test, I'm tired, and sleepy, but I know this is all for a good cause.
So. So this is it. The end of my - and all of yours - spring 2024 black belt cycle. But at every ending journey, another adventure starts. Look forward to these next months or years of your nth degree black belt. This black belt cycle was a blast! I learned so much and learned with so many people, it’s amazing how 11 weeks of determination had such an impact. I’m more open minded which is a great character trait to have. Next black belt cycle, I’m not looking at the ground and seeing how many requirements I have to do or how much I have to know, I’m looking up at the sky and awaiting the experiences, the people, and the journey. This has been the best 11 weeks of my life and I was honored to share the experience with all of you. I cannot wait to see ya’ll...
Todays testing which im kinda nervous about but I think ill do fine. Good luck to everyone!
TODAY IS TESTING! AGHHHHHHHH Good luck guys! The test is hours away but I’m still really nervous.
This is it! The Final Countdown! Let's get it! Congratulations in advance!
today is the final day i am so exited I am hoping everyone has the best of luck bye
it has amazing 11 week cycle. i have made so many friends and met so many new people. I wish everyone all the best tonight and in all your future endeavors.

Woke up and headed to 9 round. Not a bad day, had a decent amount of people. Went home for a little them left for the dojang. Practiced alot of my stuff for the test. Left at 8 and had chicken for dinner.
Hello fellow cyclers. Welcome to journal #number-I-have-no-idea. I have one question I want to ask you guys though. Do you know the difference between type 1 fun and type 2 fun? If you said no, let me explain. Type 1 fun is fun that you have instantly, in the moment. Maybe you're laughing with your friends because someone told a really funny joke or watching a movie or at a birthday party - that kind of stuff. Type 2 fun is fun that doesn't come instantly but gets there eventually. Type 2 fun is fun you have to work for. For example, you know that huge event that is coming up in less than 24 hours? Yea, it's only our black belt testing. That's an example of type 2 fun. During testing we'll feel tired and nervous but when testing is over you'll feel extremely happy and be enjoying that quality...
3/21/24...Finally the end is near. Getting extra practice in at Harrisburg every day this week . A little nervous for the test tomorrow. Resting up after dinner. Hoping for good luck for us all!
Today I went to school and when I came home I did some homework and my exercises. At the center I was able to finish all my requirements which is good for testing tmrw. I came home and studied for a chem test tmrw that I feel like I'm gonna fail but who knows.
Today I got a sparring class, a class assistance, and a mentee session. Testing is tomorrow.
