Yesterday was a very long and tiring day. From school went to my classes and then to Tae Kwon Do. Did my mentee session and then finally kick boxing. I came home very tired. Watched a little bit of the masked singer and then went to bed.

Today I woke up and ate breakfast. Next I went to school and was dispersed in first block. In electives I had intro to office productivity. I then went to tkd and went on a run and took class. For dinner I had meatloaf then did homework.
I had a good day. School was fun. I did all my requirements in the evening. Then I helped out in the family class. Then I had dinner. I am going to bed now.
If you ever had to describe your brain, what would it be? Mine would be scrambled eggs for the last couple of days. It seems like I'm chasing farts in the wind, as I come across one problem to another. Forgot to load up some hardware for my work before leaving the house, soooo back home iI go. Then a dump truck must have lost it's load on I85 as rocks were scattered across the interstate and they had to shut down four lanes. It just went sideways from there and it's not worth reliving. What I really want to do, is be at the new school, handing out cards, visiting businesses, and getting to know my community there. All in good time I suppose. God is good. Some of the words that keep me moving forward when I'm trying to balance the word on toothpicks. Thanks for listening. Booyah
I've had a calm day, I got home from school, did my requirements, watched a movie with my little brother and then went to taekwondo. When I got back home I ate dinner, finished my homework and now I'm getting ready for bed. I think I've finally been able to get a better grasp on playing guitar.
hi again guys we had a two hour delay today and I forgot to journal yesterday and since today I actually have a little more time to do other stuff in the mornings like journal , here we are. so yesterday was school. school was boring. as always. nothing really interesting happened. after that, i had a team practice. "what team"? you ask, but I'm not going to tell you because I do not want to. After that, I had another practice with the swim team, and I scraped myself on the diving board and now I have a big bruise on the side of my arm. In the middle of the two practices, I did my requirements. It really doesn't take that long- only an hour. But maybe that's because I only stay inside and run on my treadmill at home instead of actually going outside. well, happy two hour...
today I got my new saxophone and I got to play it and it was very exiting! Also today was the first day of the new quarter in school so I went to new electives. Then I came home did a bunch of homework and when to bed.
Yesterday I had my black belt pre test and I pasted .when everyone saw my hair that I dyed my hair tan we ran in the rain and we did requirements and I past
Today I went to an Ultrasound course to learn how to better use this technology. It was a pretty good conference. After the conference I went to work for a night on call. After admitting a couple of kids I went to my call room and did my exercises, took a shower. Now time to go back to work. No rest for the weary.
today was great until about 2:30 this afternoon up until then I was full of energy and optimistic about homework. then math class it and I got really tired for some reason. Then I went to science which was a lot better a little home work but nothing I can't handle. a pretty good day all in all.
Woke up this morning to find we have 2 hours delay in school. Yesterday was good. I led warm ups and helped out class. Came back home and watched Ellen Game of Games. Then went to bed.
Today I woke up and started my day with physical requirements and ate cereal. Then after a while I ate lunch and went to me friends house. After all that I celebrated my cousins birthday and came home. Now it's time to sleep
I had a good day. School was fun. In the evening I did my requirements. Then I went to the sparring class. Then I had dinner. I am going to bed now.
Today I woke up really early and I don't know why..but I went back to sleep again. I got up again and my dad had to go to a rental property and he said "I'm going for 2 hours, when your sister wakes up tell her to wash up and give cereal. So I did and did a few personal interests for a while then did some of my phyisical requirments and then my dad came home and we went to subway.
Today I woke and got the kids ready for school. I'm always impressed that after three days off they seem to forget how to make their lunches and get ready to get to the bus. Anna forgot her instrument, I brought it to school, only to hear later that she didn't go to band because she wasn't feeling well. I worked from home today. Then went to meet the kids at Tai Quan Do. Sparing is getting better. I feel like instead of everyone trying to inflict pain, folks are now having more fun and are willing to try new things. This makes it much more enjoyable.
I woke up today and felt sick. My dad gave me lots of medicine and sent me to school. I forgot my instrument at home. I got to band and my teacher said I couldn't play because I was sick. After school I went to Tai Quan Do where I did my exercises. Then we came home and I did my homework and went to bed.
Today I woke up, ate breakfast and took a shower. After that I went on a run and did some requirements. After my requirements I did my homework and cleaned my room. After that I played some football and went to walmart with my family. After that I went home and ate dinner, dinner was chicken and dumplings.
Today I woke up and played basketball, next I took a shower and waited for my mom to pick me up. After I went to the mall and got some new shoes. After I went to firehouse then I went home and did some requirements.
i'm probably to journal a lot, so i can get done with it quickly. i know you're supposed to journal like once a day, and that's what i'm doing. it might seem like a bad attitude to do it just to get done with it, which is not the case. i actually like the journaling part- i just trying to get done with it so i have one less thing to worry about on top of everything. i have a big tendency to stress out a lot and then just brush it off instead of doing it, thinking "it's ok, do it later and don't worry so much". so somehow i'm a big worrier and a procrastinator. trying to get stuff done though, so i don't stress out and then i won't procrastinate and we won't have that whole messy chain thing. today i woke up, ate some breakfast, and then...
Both yesterday and today we went to Universal. It was so cold yesterday and today. This morning we went to Chief Mickey to get breakfast and went to Universal. My mom and I went on The Revenge of the Mummy ride. It was fun, but it was really fast, and indoors in the dark. About halfway through the ride you pull into a landing area where the ride stops and theres a persons shadow in the box and they're saying stuff like yay you made it or was it a fun ride? And then the mummy jumps out and is like lol nope, and you do all the spinning stuff in the dark all over again. I would ride it again.
Finally got home from spending a night out with family and friends! Had a great start to the morning. Since I didnt have class this morning, I was able to hit the gym early before the sun came out. Did mainly cardio to help my body wake up and survive the cold weather. Spent the rest of the day studying for my GREs and run errands for my mom. Went back to the gym to knock out a few more requirements and do some TKD work. Still need to work on my black belt self defenses. Over all it was a good night, but waking up early for my 8am class will be tough! Hope everyone enjoyed their MLK day!
Hey all! I just wanted to write a little of the quality of this black belt cycle. In my opinion, this will be one of the best black belt cycle people ever. It was great to workout with you and get to know you guys. Positive, energetic, focus and helpful to one another. The cycle is always tough to stay on top of, but none of us do it alone. So keep doing what you're doing and we will close this testing down in two hours on test night (or when Grand Master Evins likes what he sees). Stay classy out there. The more it hurts now, the better it feels later. On this day of January 20, 1981: The Iran hostage crisis ends. 52 U.S. citizens were released after 444 days at the hands of a group of Islamists.
Today's been mixed, my brother, who came in for the long weekend, went back to college this morning. It was really nice seeing him and it's a shame we can only see him on the long weekends/breaks. After he left I did my requirements then spent the rest of my day with my parents and little brother. I have a math test tomorrow which I recently finished reviewing equations for and I'm ready to tackle it. I'm settling down for bed now and writing this.
Today I went with some friends and watched two movies the new spiderman and escape room. I liked escape room more though, i just felt it was more interesting. Also the spiderman movie was a little overrated. After that I got home and did some of my stuff.
I had a good day. In the morning I did my requirements. Then I had lunch. Then I went to Dave and Busters. Then I finished my requirements. Then I had dinner. Then I watched . I am going to bed now.
Today we were off from school because it was Matin Luther King Jr. day. I got my empathy training essay done. Then did some other projects and clean ups. Later finished exercises then started writing this. So kind of busy day.
Today has been extremely cold. Actually we wanted to run outside but then with this cold we stayed in. We will run in the greenway tomorrow as we do not have school. Hopefully everyone is having a good day.
I had a good day. I did my homework after breakfast. Then I did my valentine assignment in school. Then we went out for lunch. Then I completed my valentine assignment's. Then I did my requirements. Then I had a dinner. I watched the football games. Then I watched a movie. Then I watched the lunar eclipse. It is 12:06. I am going to bed now.
Another great day... although it is a holiday, my company was open and active... so emails flying as usual. The kids were home so I finished my day on time and Nate and I got on to our requirements. Today is celebrating Martin Luther King. This was a passionate man that dedicated his life to human rights. I really think that term is a little odd -- "human rights". I don't want to get biblical but I don't believe it was ever in God's mind that any one person was better than another, or should be given more than the next. The whole concept of value was something that us humans generated, not God. I truly admire people who are passionate about things and truly live it everyday. There are people that "sometimes" act or get involved in things, and their are others that live it everyday. I definitely have things...
hey guys, it's me... again. i was supposed to be done with this a long time ago, but it's fine. if you don't succeed first, try try again! i think that's how it goes, idk. my friend lily is behind me reading this. i don't have the strength to capitalize stuff. either it's non-strength, or just being lazy. i think the latter, really. There's no school tomorrow because of MLK day. should be fun not to wake up on a monday. i just ran my mile on the treadmill- the good thing about it is that it actually tells you how far you run and you can stay inside instead of having to map out a route and everything and having to take rain checks and all that. it's kind of scary- haha, no really scary to do this all over again, but it's fine. just keep swimming, swimming, swimming or whatever...
i forgot to journal yesterday so i'll just do another one today. even though it's 9:44 and i would rather would be doing other stuff right now. like sleeping. buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut no. so let's just do a quick recap of the day. well, i woke up. i ate oatmeal. me and my friend went to an arcade. we annoyed my sister. we came back home. did stuff. i did my requirements. and now i'm here. the end. i hope this was good enough material for a post, because i vaguely remember someone saying that it had to be at least a short paragraph. well, i'm done. enjoy your night or morning or afternoon or whenever you're reading this.
So today I turned 15, yet another year that has passed in this life. So I went to the gym, went home, knocked out a run, and grinded that Xbox. I have been playing Black ops 4 since then and have been dishing out all these lobbys I've been playing in. So today has been a great day!
I had a good day. In the morning I went to the pretest. It was tiring. Then I went to the black belt class and mentoring session. I had lunch after that. Then I watched my watching time. Then I went shopping. Then when we got back home we ate dinner. Then I watched a movie called Stuart Little. I am going to bed now.
Today I have went to my friends house. Then I came home and did piano class. Finally I went to a concert.
Today was the pretest and I felt good. I ran my mile in 10:35 minutes and my best physical requirement was my situps, I got 43 of those. My pullups weren't good and I didn't get the greatest shot at an arm hang so I'm going to work on that. I also need to work on rolls and falls which I am definitely bad at. My shoulder rolls need a lot of work specifically. I am also trying to work with my mentee more.
I was in Hilton Head, South Carolina yesterday and today so I missed my pre-test. I am taking my pre-test for black belt on Tuesday. Figuring out how long a mile is because we hadn't been in Hilton Head during cycle
So, we are now at the official start of the Black Belt Cycle. Today was a great workout and I am officially ready to collapse. This will be short due to getting up early for church tomorrow. The thing I was not prepared for was the written test, but fortunately, Grand Master Evins was kind to us with the questions. After the pretest and black belt class, I headed over to the Harrisburg school. Realized that our window clings are not going to work. For those who don't know what I am talking about (normal interaction for me), the window clings are the stickers that go on the windows like North Charlotte studio for advertising. The ones we received are to be applied to the outside of the windows. So, that will be on my list to do for Monday. That's all for now folks. Rest well tonight, for tomorrow is...
Yesterday i ran the mile in 10.45 secs during pre-test. My normal time is around 10mins. My goal is to run the mile during the final test in less than 9 mins. I have been working very hard on my requirements and running too. I have also started working on my rolls and falls.
Nate and I both did our Empathy training today. We decided to not speak for the day. We thought it would be a great challenge to do it at the same time. We spend a ton of time together and it really did pose many challenges... which I will be writing about in the essay. Here is a sneak peak to one item. We truly take verbal communication for granite. Until you cannot talk, you do not realize how effect that communication is. The item that is most challenging is getting people's attention. I did not realize how much I call for my wife or kids within the house. I found my self wanting to yell out for them, but instead I had to go physically find them to "signal" them and then either sign out what I need or write it down. It was hard and much more time consuming....
Today was my empathy training it was hard because of church. Before church we did are exercises. We also fixed my Xbox account because it stopped working. The problem was that someone tried to hack into my dad's account that was hooked up to the Xbox. We stopped the challenge at 5:00. Then I went to Basketball. Came home ate and about to go to get ice cream.
Today I woke up and went to tkd, It was the pretest and we went on a run. We also did requirement esc things and poomsaes. After I took black belt class I went home and waited for my cousin. When he was there we played video games and basketball.
today I woke up this morning and me and my dad did our work outs and played with our puppies! then we ate breakfast and I cant wait for my friend from tae kwon do to come over because we are going to have a sleep over and stay up to watch the moon! we also are going to make our own pizzas!
Yesterday me and my family drove down to Florida to go to Disney and Universal. We didn't go to any parks today but I did some homework and we went to Downtown Disney. It was a relaxing day.
Today was the pre test. I thought I did good until the questions. Master Evins gave the pre test as a sparring credit and after the pre test I went to black belt class went to eat and got home.
Yesterday was a good day. From school went to class and reviewed all the stuff for pre-test. This morning we had pre-test. I was very nervous but i think i did well. Dont know. I still have to work on my pull ups and my rolls. Right after BB Class we went to Cary and just got home. I finished all my requirements in the morning itself and have tons of assignments to finish over the long weekend.
Today I went to the Black Belt Pre-Test and took Black Belt class that was led by Master Evins.
Today I went to church with my family and then went home to eat lunch. When I was finished with lunch I played games.
It is unfortunate to say, but I have been experiencing a fever. It started on the day known as Wednesday, when all was calm, except for my stomach, that is. The temp was 99.5, so they said, and yet, I still went to school, and took my midterms. And later that night, I took the renown alchemist's choice known as NyQuil, and said, to all a good night, and went to bed.
Okay, I'm sure your all tired of hearing of my hot tub dilemma. So I finally got it back to clear blue water without burning my skin off. I'm not really sure what the solution was, but like most stuff with guys, you throw enough chemicals at the problem, something has to stick. Yesterday I flew to Greenwich, Connecticut to measure a clients house. if you ever been to Greenwich, you won't find many trailer parks or Walmarts. That place is one of the most expensive places in the US. To give you a little preview of the house, they were building their own ice hockey rink in the back yard. Only to be taken apart in the spring. Got to love fist world problems. Really nice couple who owned the house. Bought me an overpriced salad, measured some windows, then shot back to Charlotte. That is one thing I'm going...
today was tiring we did the pretest which was better than anticipated. The run was the worst by far. Afterward though we got lunch and relaxed. A tiring start but a great end
Today was a lot of work, and a lot of fun. I'm always a little anxious for morning like this one, pre-test day. By the time the thing gets going, the jitters go away and you are in the moment. In addition the people make it great. I'm always impressed by the positive attitudes and the willingness of every participant to help others. In truth, a lot of the best parts of each day are spent with these people.
The pre-test for the cycle was pretty fun today, and I gotta bunch of requirements from it. Unfortunately I am still sick so my run wasn't that good, but Mr. Foster made sure to beat me! And then there was Nate, when one second he was there, and the next he was gone. I don't know what he ate for breakfast, but that dude sure has some energy!
School is fine today. Nothing happened. Normal stuff. I got haircut after school and went right to King Tiger. Then we ran with Lucy and did kick boxing class. It was good to review stuff at Black Belt class. Ready for tomorrow.
Today I woke up and went to school and had a test, after my test I went to second block and we had a sub. In the third block it was Spanish and we watched a movie. IN fourth block we did a test. Then I went to tkd and took black belt class. Then I went to Jasons deli and came back home.
It was a pretty good day at work. I had to provide some presentations to a series of co-workers from across the globe. They all came into Charlotte for an offsite. It went pretty well. We got some stuff completed but many actions and follow-ups... so more work to come. I raced home, and Trish had made dinner. I cannot say enough great things about my wife. Nate and I ate, and then we started getting ready for our night of TKD. It was a really good sparring class. Master Marcus had some good exercises to get us warmed up, and we got a bunch of sparring rounds in. It was good practice. I am trying some new stuff in class. Just seeing if some things work. Some do and some don't... but best place to practice is in class. Looking forward to the next tournament. Then onto family class. I...
Getting ready for pre-test. Trying not to go overboard with requirements today. Just reviewing poomsaes and self defenses. Working on the details. I have had a few weeks to practice so feeling pretty good. I always find myself a little off under pressure but that is the point. Need to be ready at any moment, so now is the time. Need to get some rest tonight. Keep moving!!!
Today was a little strange, I got home feeling fine, and I recently bought a capo for my guitar, this thing changes the key that you guitar can be played in by holding all of the strings down on a single fret. I was really excited to learn a new song that required the capo and I had worked on that for the majority of my day. About 30 minutes before I was meant to go to taekwondo, I felt really light-headed, and my heart was racing for no apparent reason. I have heart palpitations, so my mom, who's in the medical field, was worried and wouldn't allow me to go to taekwondo today.
I had a good day. School was fun. We had a math assessment and I got 92% on it. I had Taekwando in the evening. Then I had dinner I am going to bed now.
Yesterday was a good day. I came back from school. Had classes. Could not go to Tae Kwon Do as i had assignments and my brother had to finish his assignments due today. I came back home and finished all my requirements and then went to sleep. Getting ready for school. Yay!! we have long weekend after today. No school Monday and Tuesday
Today I took the last midterm which was the World History one. It was really easy because yesterday we did a review game and she read the questions off of the midterm itself. I also did really good on my Spanish midterm. Also, it was reviled to us that in I think April, there will be about 8 French foreign exchange students coming to my school. I can only imagine the chaos that will occur.
Today in pe we played capture the flag it was a crazy game but......we lost and it wasn’t fair because the other team was bumping hard. Every time i went to save someone out of jail they rammed my knee.fast forward in math we did our chapter 5 review.during that people were doing truth or dare.in art we finished our project and got our old one.have a good day
Today got up as soon as I walk in the class room I have to go help put up the flag at are school. Once I got home did homework and ate dinner. Know getting ready for classes.
Hello. Today was my first day back at work after returning from Maine. It is a bit of an adjustment. I'm emotionally exhausted from last week. I am truly appreciative of all of the help of my partners at work and the group at King Tiger for making the transition back easier. I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit stressed about the self defense and the sparing combinations changing and having to learn them in the middle of the Black Belt cycle. I guess we can only try our hardest, and see what happens.
Today in school we watched a movie about a book we read. We compared and contrasted the differences and similarities. Then in social studies we did a test review and a study guide. Also, we had the stems test for ELA and I got a 100. In science we learned about eclipses. Then I went to the 5:30 class, then I went to sparing, then I came home. Had dinner, and started to do my homework.
Yesterday was another long day. I had my benchmark test. Went to all my classes and then came home and watched the masked singer. It was fun. Time for school now.
Today I took the earth science midterm. And just like last years biology one, it did not match the study guide at all. I don't understand the point of having to do the study guide when it would not benefit us. We also played a game after the test called Three on a Bench. It was fun.
Since last Friday, I've been busy left and right. Senior year of college and also preparing for my EMS classes has resulted in many sleepless nights. Got food poisoning last friday and was bedridden for the entire weekend. Come the beginning of this week, school starts at 8am and ends at 4:45 and after that I went straight to TKD. and then the rest of my nights are left finishing hw until 2 and sometimes 3 am. For the students who are currently in elementary, middle, or high school, take advantage of this moment in your life. College is stressful just as much as it is fun! official cycle starts on saturday so gotta get ready to grind it out.
I've had a good day. My AP Psych test went well, or at least I hope it did. I eagerly awaited coming home and besides doing homework, requirements and being at taekwondo, I played guitar. I'm getting pretty confident about it which I'm excited about, I'm going to try to learn one of my favorite songs so we'll see how that goes.
Today when I did my mile because of my knee I only jogged a little and mostly walked. You would never really think it would be hard to bend your knee until it is. My family and I are going to Hilton Head Island on the weekend so I have to make up my Black Belt pre-physical test on, Tuesday January 22.
Today I woke up and got ready for school, for breakfast I had a bagle with cream cheese. At school I finished map testing and then I got a 98 on my spanish test. After school I went tkd, ran a mile and had class. On my way back home I noticed I left my phone at tkd and then I had dinner.
I had a good day. I read Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets In the morning before I went to school.I finished all the requirements in the evening. Then I went to the black belt class. I had a my mentoring session with Master Dege and worked on the stick and staff forms. I am going to bed now.
Today I didn't run because my knee was tense from being buckled yesterday. When I did my kicks I could only do them with my left leg so it got tired easily.
Yesterday was an amazing day. I had benchmark and came back from school. Went to take classes and stayed up to finish my homework. I still had one left which I finished this morning. Have another test in school today and a long day of classes
Today I woke up and got ready to go to school, at school I did my map testing in math. Later on I played football during electives. At tkd I went on a run then I came home, ate dinner and did requirements.
Good morning. The kids are off to school, the sun is out and my exercises and run are over. Now I just have to focus on a talk to give some young doctors tomorrow. Also, have a doctors appt. Looking forward to an evening with minimal stuff so the family can enjoy some mid week time together. If I were you I would look up the new advertisement with a talking camel, look up hump day and camel add, very funny. I think the kids and I watched it 10-15 times and laughed each time.
The same girl tackled me again today. I talked to her about it later and she apologized. She is aggressive and tall. She tackles everyone so it is not just me. I don't like it. We are not really friends anymore because of it. We still talk somethings. Went to classes tonight and I helped the higher belts. Worked with Emily. It was good practice for me too.
Today I had two more midterms. I had math and Spanish. I don't think that I did too well in the math one. I recognized everything on it, but I couldn't remember how to do it. I know I did really good on my Spanish one. There were only three questions that I did not know. In art, me and my group were talking about anime and stuff from when we were little children. It was a good day.
So I finished the Matched Series by Ally Condie, and honestly it was one of the best series I've ever read. After reading, I did my requirements and wrote one of my essays for TKD.
I really like helping with Family class on Tue and Thur. Nate and I have been doing it for some time. I get a chance to work with the younger kids on their skills. It is good for me to break the items down to teach them slowly. I try to find easy ways for them to remember things. It is good, because it also helps me remember them. It is really great to see them get better as time goes as well. It is also great to see the confidence in these children raise. I really wish I had done martial arts earlier in life. I think it would have helped me as well. I did many different things growing up that helped me build confidence, but it really wasn't until college that I gained the most. I was a small kid growing up so I got picked on... I...
Today in class I had to finish my art project. We have been working for a long time and I am better at watercoloring now. I drew a bubble in which our universe resides and a person reaching out of a ship to break that bubble
Today was pretty tiring, I had a lot of homework but I finished it up quicker than I thought I would. The majority of the work came from a project I am currently doing in Human Geography. I'm researching the effects of the introduction of livestock ranching on the agriculture of the time. It's a very interesting topic. Besides my homework, I had a relatively calm and relaxing day, which I'm grateful for.
Today was great day, I got chosen to change from the clarinet to the saxephone. Then I went to the Tai Quan do 5;30 class, then the sparing class, then had to leave early to go to soccer. Now I'm tired.
Today was a day full of exercising and working from home. I learned that we have nine essays, at first I thought Master Chelley was joking, but she wasn't. So I took an hour and did my fourth one. Yikes, five more to go. Sparing went fast. To be honest, not my favorite of classes, but the group of people keep it fun. Master Markus did his best to teach us the new self defenses. Time to go read with the kids.
today wasn't as bad as anticipated. I didn't get beat to bad but I might have broken my leg. Hopefully just abroose
Yesterday was another long and tiring day. Came from school finished my assignments and then went to class. Led and helped class and did my mentee session. Today is going to be another long day. I have benchmark exam today and tomorrow. Waiting at the bus stop for my bus
Had to do some wiring at the new school today. Also, we got some belts on the wall. It's starting to look almost like a Do Jong. Of course, my electrician has to come back again for a third round due to not having enough wiring. I'm won't complain, he is a friend and he is doing it for almost nothing. Can't beat that price. Great service at church today. Normally we run out half way through the service because of Trent's lacrosse practice which is scheduled at 10:45. Irritating. I do not like having sports interfere with church. Fortunately, there isn't a lot of weeks for this season. We won't be doing it again. Trent said to me this morning how he really dislikes missing church service. What could I say? So, I had to agree with him and was really proud that he has his priorities in order. That's...
Today I’ll try not to ramble as much but it is a little tough launching right back into life. Going back to school wasn’t horrible. I got to see my friend that has been out all last week as well because of the flu. It wasn’t to interesting and I don’t really have random thoughts to tell you today. Other than the question who taught the first teacher?
I had a good day. School was fun. In the evening I went to Taekwando. I did pull-ups there. Then I had dinnet . I am going to bed now.
Today I was very sore on my upper legs. For my 1 new skill I'm trying to learn to do a full split which is why I'm sore. I worked with my mentee and helped out with a class, after that I took my usual Wang ho class.
It was first day back. Okay day at school. We were playing a game at recess and girl ended up pushing me during the game. I went down pretty hard. She blind side me and I hit the group. I rolled a bit. I had a bunch of homework and make up work. Got it done and then went to King Tiger to mentor Taylor. I still have a cough but getting better.
Today I had two midterms. One for English, and one for astronomy. We almost didn't take the English one because the test didn't work and it said stuff like "this test is not assigned to you." and stuff like that. The astronomy one was easy. It was the exact same as the practice test we took earlier. I have math and Spanish tomorrow, we'll see how that goes.
Today was a really good day. I did my requirements, practiced guitar and did my homework pretty early in the day. My oldest brother came by to eat dinner and to hang out a little bit. We had a really fun time just talking and playing video games. He recently went back to his apartment so I'm writing this now.
As Mondays go, it was pretty good. We did a mentoring session with the Belchers. It was great. I like mentoring as it really makes me think about exactly what the forms and defenses. Walking through it slowly and really thinking about footwork, positions, preps, strikes, etc. It actually helps me clean up my ability to do it too. I also like helping a fellow student. Fun to watch someone learn. My parents were both teachers as professions, and I like to think that I got some teaching ability from them. Maybe a little. I like teaching, it helps me get better as well. I really like these BB cycles as they challenge us differently and get us motivated. Today was a motivated day. Keep moving!!!
So I got home from a full day of Tae Kwon Do; sparring class, helped in family class, and black belt class. Then worked on the new Do Jong, and all I could think about was getting into that hot tub and soak for awhile. Got home, threw on the bathing suit, opened the lid to the hot tub, and it's green. Got to be kidding me. So, I start testing all the levels, and the ph is all off, and its not registering any chlorine. Dumped some shock into it, decreased the ph and added some chlorine. I was so desperate I just jumped on in. Soaked for awhile then realized my skin felt like it was on fire. Ok, hot tub is still not balanced. Sat in it as long as I could stand it, then got out. I guess it's time to drain it and start again. Boy,...
Today was my first day of soccer. I went to school in the morning. It was great to see my team mates again. I did a lot of exercises during soccer. I'm tired.
today was tiring. We did MAP testing today and I didn't finnish which stinks because now I have to do it on Wednesday. Other than that school was normal. Then I came home and did a 2 mile run with dad and my homework. Tomorrow will be worse.
Flew back into Charlotte today. I don't like flying, but the flight wasn't that bad. It was great to get back to NC. The kids were really excited to see me, and I them. Time to get back to work.
So today is the last day before I go back to school and restart a lot of the things I took a break on while I was sick. As I was going through everything I have to do this week I was like "wow I do a lot". Then later today I thought of all the other things people do each day and how they don't get breaks even when they are sick. It kinda made me think about how tiny everyone is in this universe even all combined. Lie is sort of actually a mess up that whatever runs this thing didn't intend for. Think about, there is nothing like our form of life that we have discovered. The universe has repeating of many things even stuff that we consider anomalies, but life is just random noting else like it.
