Good morning. The kids are off to school, the sun is out and my exercises and run are over. Now I just have to focus on a talk to give some young doctors tomorrow. Also, have a doctors appt. Looking forward to an evening with minimal stuff so the family can enjoy some mid week time together. If I were you I would look up the new advertisement with a talking camel, look up hump day and camel add, very funny. I think the kids and I watched it 10-15 times and laughed each time.
The same girl tackled me again today. I talked to her about it later and she apologized. She is aggressive and tall. She tackles everyone so it is not just me. I don't like it. We are not really friends anymore because of it. We still talk somethings. Went to classes tonight and I helped the higher belts. Worked with Emily. It was good practice for me too.
Today I had two more midterms. I had math and Spanish. I don't think that I did too well in the math one. I recognized everything on it, but I couldn't remember how to do it. I know I did really good on my Spanish one. There were only three questions that I did not know. In art, me and my group were talking about anime and stuff from when we were little children. It was a good day.
So I finished the Matched Series by Ally Condie, and honestly it was one of the best series I've ever read. After reading, I did my requirements and wrote one of my essays for TKD.
I really like helping with Family class on Tue and Thur. Nate and I have been doing it for some time. I get a chance to work with the younger kids on their skills. It is good for me to break the items down to teach them slowly. I try to find easy ways for them to remember things. It is good, because it also helps me remember them. It is really great to see them get better as time goes as well. It is also great to see the confidence in these children raise. I really wish I had done martial arts earlier in life. I think it would have helped me as well. I did many different things growing up that helped me build confidence, but it really wasn't until college that I gained the most. Today in class I had to finish my art project. We have been working for a long time and I am better at watercoloring now. I drew a bubble in which our universe resides and a person reaching out of a ship to break that bubble
Today was pretty tiring, I had a lot of homework but I finished it up quicker than I thought I would. The majority of the work came from a project I am currently doing in Human Geography. I'm researching the effects of the introduction of livestock ranching on the agriculture of the time. It's a very interesting topic. Besides my homework, I had a relatively calm and relaxing day, which I'm grateful for.
Today was great day, I got chosen to change from the clarinet to the saxephone. Then I went to the Tai Quan do 5;30 class, then the sparing class, then had to leave early to go to soccer. Now I'm tired.
Today was a day full of exercising and working from home. I learned that we have nine essays, at first I thought Master Chelley was joking, but she wasn't. So I took an hour and did my fourth one. Yikes, five more to go. Sparing went fast. To be honest, not my favorite of classes, but the group of people keep it fun. Master Markus did his best to teach us the new self defenses. Had to do some wiring at the new school today. Also, we got some belts on the wall. It's starting to look almost like a Do Jong. Of course, my electrician has to come back again for a third round due to not having enough wiring. I'm won't complain, he is a friend and he is doing it for almost nothing. Can't beat that price. Great service at church today. Normally we run out half way through the service because of Trent's lacrosse practice which is scheduled at 10:45. Irritating. I do not like having sports interfere with church. Fortunately, there isn't a lot of weeks for this season. We won't be doing it again. I got to see my friend that has been out all last week as well because of the flu. It wasn’t to interesting and I don’t really have random thoughts to tell you today. Today I was very sore on my upper legs. For my 1 new skill I'm trying to learn to do a full split which is why I'm sore. I worked with my mentee and helped out with a class, after that I took my usual Wang ho class.
It was first day back. Okay day at school. We were playing a game at recess and girl ended up pushing me during the game. I went down pretty hard. She blind side me and I hit the group. I rolled a bit. I had a bunch of homework and make up work. Got it done and then went to King Tiger to mentor Taylor. I still have a cough but getting better.
Today I had two midterms. One for English, and one for astronomy. We almost didn't take the English one because the test didn't work and it said stuff like "this test is not assigned to you." and stuff like that. The astronomy one was easy. It was the exact same as the practice test we took earlier. I have math and Spanish tomorrow, we'll see how that goes.
Today was a really good day. I did my requirements, practiced guitar and did my homework pretty early in the day. My oldest brother came by to eat dinner and to hang out a little bit. We had a really fun time just talking and playing video games. He recently went back to his apartment so I'm writing this now.
As Mondays go, it was pretty good. We did a mentoring session with the Belchers. It was great. I like mentoring as it really makes me think about exactly what the forms and defenses. Walking through it slowly and really thinking about footwork, positions, preps, strikes, etc. It actually helps me clean up my ability to do it too. I also like helping a fellow student. Fun to watch someone learn. My parents were both teachers as professions, and I like to think that I got some teaching ability from them. Maybe a little. I like teaching, it helps me get better as well. I really like these BB cycles as they challenge us differently and get us motivated. Today was a motivated day. Keep moving!!!
So I got home from a full day of Tae Kwon Do; sparring class, helped in family class, and black belt class. Then worked on the new Do Jong, and all I could think about was getting into that hot tub and soak for awhile. Got home, threw on the bathing suit, opened the lid to the hot tub, and it's green. Got to be kidding me. So, I start testing all the levels, and the ph is all off, and its not registering any chlorine. Dumped some shock into it, decreased the ph and added some chlorine. I was so desperate I just jumped on in. Soaked for awhile then realized my skin felt like it was on fire. Ok, hot tub is still not balanced. Sat in it as long as I could stand it, then got out. Today was my first day of soccer. I went to school in the morning. It was great to see my team mates again. I did a lot of exercises during soccer. I'm tired.
today was tiring. We did MAP testing today and I didn't finnish which stinks because now I have to do it on Wednesday. Other than that school was normal. Then I came home and did a 2 mile run with dad and my homework. Tomorrow will be worse.
Flew back into Charlotte today. I don't like flying, but the flight wasn't that bad. It was great to get back to NC. The kids were really excited to see me, and I them. Time to get back to work.
So today is the last day before I go back to school and restart a lot of the things I took a break on while I was sick. As I was going through everything I have to do this week I was like "wow I do a lot". Then later today I thought of all the other things people do each day and how they don't get breaks even when they are sick. It kinda made me think about how tiny everyone is in this universe even all combined. Lie is sort of actually a mess up that whatever runs this thing didn't intend for. Think about, there is nothing like our form of life that we have discovered. The universe has repeating of many things even stuff that we consider anomalies, but life is just random noting else like it.
Yesterday was not a good day. I did not do any of my requirements. i was stuck doing my assignments and i was really struggling to finish those. I am hoping today will be a good day.
I've had a really fun day today. Woke up early to get some chores out of the way early, then headed to blackbelt class; after a successful class I went to eat lunch with my family. It was delicious. I then headed home to practice guitar and set up a classic game console, the SNES, I bought Monday I have been waiting all week to be able to use. After playing some of the same games that my father introduced me too as a kid, I ate dinner. I'm now righting this and i'll soon be going to watch a movie with my family.

So today I went to the gym right, with instructor Jack, and it was lowklow kinda fun. So I've decided that I'll probably get into this whole thing, but unfortunately I don't have much schedule space for it. But I I'll make room for it. Today when I came home from class I was doing homework for a solid two and a half hours and I'm still not done. I also got a shelf put in above my desk so I can put stuff on that to attempt to minimize the disaster on the desk. So far its working, but we'll see in about a week how that turns out.
It was a good day. First day back for Nate and I for a few days as Nate was sick and I was traveling. It was a very good class. I got to lead the class in the beginning and I also led a group of BBs for stick forms 1 and 2. I really do like teaching others and helping them learn. I also got to help Katherine and Emily learn some poomsaes as well. I find that I have certain ways of remembering things and I shared it, and it made sense to them as well. Good feeling. Nate and I spent a fair amount of time today working on some things that we needed to work on more. So I have been sick with the flu for the past four days. This really stinks because I am now a week behind on school work and taekwondo requirements. I have a lot to make upon and classes that I have to fit in extra of now. Luckily my mom who is taking the cycle next year is really helping me out by working out plans with me and making all the extra I have to do much much easier.
today we had yoga it was fun but we did not go outside like we were supposed to.during math it was 2hours and two people were done with there math and get to play kayoot.on my hand i got my math Journal but then after that when i moved to the math notebook.after that we had house buddies I’m in sabio we did a Martin luther king junior packet and I got Fortnite names and tomorrow morning I have a basketball game.
Today was a good day. We mainly hung around the house. I did go to Freeport Maine in the afternoon and walked around the outlets. It was nice to get out of the house for a while. My mother is slowly recovering from her heart attack and the week in the hospital. I am looking forward to another restful day tomorrow. Hopefully the temperature will get out of the single digits and I can go for a run. Looking forward to coming back to Charlotte and seeing everyone at class.
Today was the last day of quarter two and I am surprised that I got all of my work done on time. The amount of work that they made us do was just ridiculous. I really want it to snow over the weekend, but if it messes up the schedule for midterms, I will not be too pleased.

The end of a long week. I have been in Maine for the past six days. My mother was released from the hospital today after having a heart attack. We are excited she is out of the hospital, however, continue to be concerned that she continues to get better. I'm sticking around for the next couple of days. School started this past Tuesday and it has already become stressful! Professors really do think that their students are free and having nothing else to do but homework. Since Tuesday, I've been coming straight to TKD after school and helping out with all the classes. Atleast it gives me a chance to kick out alot of my requirements, especially my leadership credits. This has been a very busy week for me. I haven't had time to do anything other than homework. I don't understand why teachers give us work today that we have to complete for the last day of the quarter, which is tomorrow along with other work that is all also due tomorrow. There is not enough time. But I got to walk my history teachers dog today. She brings him everyday and he is a very good dog.

I came home from school today and ate a snack, practiced guitar and got ready for sparring class today. Sparring class was really fun; I came home and did my requirements. I've finished my homework now and am getting ready for bed. I've had an uneventful day, usually those are the best days.

I don't place any value in the constellations besides there cool looking, but I remember something from my military orientation days. Orion's bet actually points east and west. TODAY WAS A FREE DAY yesterday i had my first basketball game but we lost 23.30. After that I went to the leagion restaurant it was fun we were there for almost 3 hours.after that i got ready to go to my friends house it was fun we played Fortnite,stayed up till midnight, and watched videos for the half of the night.we also played Fortnite in real life we won.then after we went to bed at midnight the next day we woke up at 7:15 and played Fortnite.after we played Fortnite and had breakfast we went to lacrosse practice it was fun but I twisted my ankle and won the scrimmage i got the winning shot.so tomorrow morning starts of a new week so enjoy your week.

I started my White Belt Challenge and I wouldn't call it hard. The only thing that was confusing was since I was the only white belt in my class I forgot what I know and don't know.
Today I learned a valuable lesson that will stick with me my whole life. Today I woke up, got ready for school. On the bus ride me and my friend play Hill Climb Racing (remember this it is important). Got to school and it was going normal and then when it came to recess something happened. And I learned that what happened on the bus helped lift up there day. And that story was when we failed so hard that we were laughing. Even when others were making fun of us. So the lesson was that your fails can bring you down but bring someone up from laughter. But they can also make yours's and your friends day up.
Today I woke up and my ears were clogged and painful so I rested until later in the day after doing chores to go to the doctor. They said I had an ear infection in both ears and had to get a prescription. I came home did my homework and im about to take a shower.

Hello folks, what a day right? It was one of those days where you want to just lay out in a hammock and relax. Unfortunately, I had to go to Ikea instead. Bought some furniture for the school and went to pick t up. Fortunately, they have a pretty good system and I just pulled up to the pickup area and got the stuff. Brought it to the school and dropped it off. No assembly today, it's Sunday and I want to send the last day of the boys Christmas break with them. They had the longest break ever it seems. Today was stressful. I had to do my excersizes early in the morning because I had band class early and had two classes after school. Plus to top it all off I got lots of homework.
Today I went to school and learned about percentages. Also I went to the 5:30 class and then I went to sparing! Then finally I came home and ate a meal of chicken and posted vegetables and my dad is still in main and I can't wait till my grandma gets better.
Still in Maine, working our way through a difficult decision with my mother and her heart attack. Tonight we will decide on bypass surgery vs multiple stents, Everyone at the hospital has been great. We are glad to be close to their home in a great hospital. Still doing some of my daily exercises. Hopeful to be able to continue the cycle when I return. To be continued.
Seemed like I started out of the gate running today and didn't stop until now. Worked with the guy who is buying my business and it was a great first impression. Thank you God. Had to remember to pick up the kids from school and get back into that routine again. Class schedule changed so Trent wasn't able to take class but he really enjoyed helping out. I have to get up early for Bible study so this will be a quick one. Sleep well King Tiger peeps.
This morning was not the typical Monday morning at my School. As we were changing classes from homeroom to first block, we saw the chorus/band teacher on his bike, ridding around the school, shouting "Wheeee!" Defiantly not a normal morning.

Today was fun, I did well in school and did my requirements when I got home. I soon found myself helping my family prepare dinner for a family friend that came over for dinner today. After dinner I finished my homework, which luckily I didn't have very of, then I practiced guitar. Now I'm writing this and am winding down to sleep for tomorrow.

Today's been pretty quite and very unproductive, at least until recently. After a good meal I finished up my homework for Monday. With my requirements out of the way this morning, I had plenty of free time. For my new skill for the cycle I decided to learn the guitar, today I made a very large leap in my ability to play the instrument, I've finally begun to be able to switch between a few cords fairly well and am hopefully on track for mastering the first of many songs in the future.
It was not a terrible Monday. I went into the Charlotte office this morning to meet with some people, and come to find out that the people are already really busy (even after I booked time and they accepted it), and it turns out that what was supposed to be a whole day in the office, I got about 30 minutes with them. So, I left and came home to work remote the rest of the day. Waste of a trip to Charlotte office, but it is what it is. Got home and did some work, had lunch and then finished the day. My daughter Kara actually cooked dinner this evening. I tend to kid her on cooking ability but she said she has been cooking stuff at college, so I said, cook something and I will buy the groceries. I had a good day. In the morning I went to the testing to get into a new school. After lunch I went to my first basketball game. We won our first game. Yay !! Hello, Today was beautiful, finally. It seems like I haven't seen the sun in weeks. Today started with me dragging my kids to sparring class. Great class and a great workout. Did a little helping with family class, then attended black belt class. Lot of folks showed up. Love Master Hartle's classes. She's fun. Afterwards, had a really good meeting with a young man who wants to buy my current business, as I transition to the new King Tiger school. Great guy, enthusiastic and smart. It was the family member of a friend so I didn't have to go through all the loco yokos online. Went home and enjoyed my afternoon. Went for a run and punched a dog. Sorry dog lovers, he had it coming. There are some strange dogs on our road and they seem to be getting a little too territorial lately as me and my boys go...
Today was a busy day and I did not get much of my requirements done. I helped make breakfast, then did a lot of homework. Then I made a hat for this sweet little girl that I babysit. After that I helped rake the leaves and take down the Christmas decorations outside and went for a walk. When we got home I did more homework and my grandma came over for dinner. if only Monday was a part of the weekend.

Yesterday was a good day. Most of the day I was working on my assignments. Once i finished those, i did my requirements and then went to bed. Now i am almost ready for school. Bus comes in 30 mins. See you all soon
I flew to Maine last night because my mother is having a heart attack and is in the hospital in Portland, near where I grew up. It is winter here, and cold and dark. Very fitting atmosphere for a scary personal event. I trained in the medical center where she is receiving her care. Everyone at the Hospital is great, I feel very comfortable with her providers, which is reassuring. She will have a diagnostic and possibly therapeutic procedure this afternoon. Trying to remain positive.
Thursday: First mentor session with Master Cavazos! Lucky to have someone like him to be mentoring me. It will be hard and involve a lot of sweat, but thats what is required when going for a 4th dan! Friday: Master Knight was feeling well so I taught the Junior Tiger class! All I can say is that teaching that class involves a lot more energy than taking sparring class! Other than that, I spent the rest of the day mainly out with friends and creating my meal plan Saturday: Sparring in the morning and then black belt class afterwards! It was fun to get back into sparring class. I had forgotten what it felt like to sweat and then at the end lay on the mats all sore and in pain XD Black belt class was fun and actually got a lot of black belt curriculum done! Sunday...
Today I went to church with my mom and my little sister. The speech was about equality and acceptance in-between everyone, no matter where they come form or who they are. I though this was interesting because the the priest put it, it was so poetic and perfect but this is much harder to achieve in real life. The speech was nice and pretty but it was about an ideal world to which we are working towards, not the present day. I just thought this was interesting and wanted to write it out. Have a good day.
Today I woke up, had breakfast then some family came over. Then my parents went to hang out with some friends so I ran and did requirements. Next I had dinner and played some basketball. Now i'm writing this journal.
Today was a boring day. I didn’t really do anything except for my requirements and read some books. I am NOT looking forward to going back to school tomorrow and I don’t want to acknowledge the fact that I am. So I hope that everyone had a good day! Goodnight!
It was a good day. Spent most of the day at King Tiger and doing TKD. We worked on many new items and learned some new stuff. But the afternoon was the best part. It is the last Homecoming dance for Lexi and it was great to see her getting ready with her friends. She has a great group of girls that have been together for many years. It has been crazy to watch them all grow up. My daughter is not the little girl any more. She hasn't been for many years but it is becoming more apparent. It is great to see them grow, but they don't need me as much as before. Daddy is not a big part of their life... the "their" is both my daughters. Kara is my oldest and in college. Lexi is a senior in high school. Obviously I still have Nate... but these...
