Saturday Night

It was a good day. Spent most of the day at King Tiger and doing TKD. We worked on many new items and learned some new stuff. But the afternoon was the best part. It is the last Homecoming dance for Lexi and it was great to see her getting ready with her friends. She has a great group of girls that have been together for many years. It has been crazy to watch them all grow up. My daughter is not the little girl any more. She hasn't been for many years but it is becoming more apparent. It is great to see them grow, but they don't need me as much as before. Daddy is not a big part of their life... the "their" is both my daughters. Kara is my oldest and in college. Lexi is a senior in high school. Obviously I still have Nate... but these are my two little girls. I am happy and sad at the same time. I am so grateful and really lucky to have two amazing and strong young ladies as my daughters. I am so very proud of them both, but tonight really hit home a little that one chapter is closing and a new one begins pretty soon. I love my girls and all I can ask is that they be happy. Life is too short not to be. New day tomorrow. Keep moving!!!
