Today was last day of school before christmas break. Dad was less than pleased that he had to look after me for two weeks but I'm ecstatic. In school today we had a party in red block were we got snacks and watched a christmas story, it was funny. Then I went home went to sparring which was a total blast. After that I went home watched a movie and went to bed.
Today was a normal day nothing unusual at school. Last day of school for 2018! I ran 2 miles and I can’t wait until Christmas!!!!
Today In school we had mad science ???? in mad science we made our own Constellations And I made the Big Dipper .But In math only one ☝️ person finished his work in only 11 minutes .so now I’m on my way to the tae kwon do ???? school
I had a good day. We had a field trip today. It was to a nursing home called Havens. We sang two songs and our teacher brought out board games for us to play with the residents. In the evening I did 51 pushup's 51 situp's and 26 burpes. And then I went to tae kwan do to do my black belt class to make up for Tuesday. And I might go on saturday. And I did 20 situps and 20 pushup at tae kwan do.When I got home I did 9 pushup's 9 situps and 4 burpes.By the end of the day I completed 90 pushup's 90 situps and 30 burpes.I had a good day and I am going to bed now.
Yesterday was a really fun day. I finished school and went to family class. Afterwards, I finished both my mentor and mentee sessions. I am still working on getting my basic kicks right. Hopefully I can get some requirements and work on my kicks today!
Today I woke up and went to school, we started doing review for math which is my least favorite subject but it was alright. Next it was science and we had a test, I got an A on it. For electives they let us go outside and play football. Last I got dispersed from ELA and I did my work. I went to taekwondo and took class and then came home.
Today after I got back from school I went to regular class and led basic kicks. I practiced my breaking kick as well.
Well.. today was interesting. I got in the middle of a he-said, she-said situation at work between a software development partner and a customer. It really was not pretty and there were many ways to react. I decided to take the high road and just stick to the facts of the situation, and provide an "enhanced" message showing all sides of the equation and not pointing any fingers directly... maybe a couple indirectly, but it was subtle and nothing that was too critical to the arguments. I believe I took the right path, but we will see how this plays out. It is interesting what lies before us each day, I just thank God that I have breathe in my lungs and making the most of the day. Today was career day. So, we got to go to different classes and learn about careers that I might like to be when I grow up. Then we went to the 5:30 class where we did a lot of pushups and sit ups. Then we came home and at a delicious chicken and vegetable dinner.
Went to work this morning and was able to get out around noon to do some Christmas shopping. Truly impressed with how many people are out in the middle of the day. Had to go to the mall, not my favorite place. I usually practice strategic shopping there. Then went to one of my favorite stores, REI. I always love going there because it is a place of adventure. Then came home and started packing for our Christmas trip up to Vermont. It always amazes me how much stuff we have to pack for a week. today I went to school were we had career day. I learned about people who work in refridgeration he gave us ice cream. Then I went through the rest of my day which was fine except theat I got a lot of IXL homework. Then I went home did my 100, 100, and 10 and went to class. I proceeded to come home after eat and go to bed.

It is Sunday... we went to church this morning. I love our church. We go to Pursuit Church in Denver. Pastor Jordon just knows how to inspire us and his message is always impactful. This week is about digging deep inside ourselves to really understand to identify our sins (big or small) and make corrections in our lives to be better. You cannot change the past, but you can learn from it. It was exactly what I needed this week. Nate and I spent the afternoon getting our exercises and requirements completed for today, and then I made dinner and he had basketball league. Honestly, I don't think I've ever watched more TV in my life in a day than I did today. I woke up, ate breakfast, and then I started watching TV. I was doing that for about a couple of hours until my mother got home and we went on a run. Once I got back home, yet again, I just started watching TV. And that sums up my entire day.
Crazy week with a crazy Saturday. Got home late last night from Wyoming, only to get up early to go with Connor to present the wreaths on veterans graves, which is happening all across America today. Regardless of being tired, it was a cool experience. Very respectful ceremony in the rain. It seemed fitting. Then ran home to turn around to go to Connor's civil air patrol banquet. That went too long, but it was enjoyable. Now trying to get in some requirements, billing my clients, and working a little at the new Do Jung. Lots on my plate. I am late in writing my journal. Normally I write it in the morning. I had to work on my homework and did my requirements. Then we went out to meet our friends and we had a great time playing. I was excited this morning when I didn't have to go into work. Therefore, I came down stairs and watched Charlie do his exercises while drinking coffee. He went for a jog, and came back way too soon. So I told him to do it again. Later in the morning I did my exercises then went for a run with my wife Sara in the sunshine. It was nice that it wasn't raining for a change. Then I hung out with William who was making an Iron Man outfit out of cardboard, quite a creative kid. Anna, William and I played UNO. I am sorry to say that Will won both times.

I had a very violent allergic reaction yesterday into today which left me with no sleep and I had to make the final decision to not go to class this morning so I would have enough energy to do the second part of my school project this afternoon. At least now I can breath through my nose a bit now.
Today I went to a Christmas party at my church and performed a dance! I had lots of fun tho I am very tired. I can’t wait until winter break!!!
I just came back from Black Belt and sparring class. Master Evins took sparring class this morning and we did a lot of drills. He gave us 5 sparring rounds. I did a lot of basic kicks and my legs are really tired. I sparred Taylor and Emma. It was fun. Black Belt class was also good. We did all our poomsae and self defense. I have assignments to finish and i am already tired. My dad is going to take me and my brother to the greenway to do our run this afternoon
Great Saturday. Got up early and got a couple things done at house... then went to help with Family Class and Little Tiger Class. I like to teach the kids. I need to work on shadowing for the younger kids and doing everything backwards... but I will get better with Practice. Then we went to Saturday Black Belt class and it was really good. Had a pretty rough day at work, but TKD class today really helped me refocus and get back into a better mind set. This is important to me. It was great to work with Tiger and learn some of the self defenses. I find that he is very knowledgeable about the skills and a great mentor (not my official mentor -- which is Master Marcus). However he is pretty good in explaining the moves. I like him. Got some exercises in, but Nate and I are pretty tired so we did not get as much done today as we hoped, but we will make it up this weekend. I am tracking everything in a spreadsheet until we get access to edit the system. We got our books today so we will transfer everything into the book as well. My Spanish class was fun! My teacher taught me plural and single Spanish words and how or when to use them. School was tireing but I made it throughout the 3 days of school.
First week of the pre cycle and I'm already procrastinating. Well, really just working like crazy out here in Jackson Hole Wyoming. This place makes our little snow storm look like a wet tissue. I love the feel of fresh powder under my feet, post-holing through the 3 feet of snow. Unfortunately, there wont be any skiing involved with this trip. It's one of those early morning till late night work trips. The money will be good for the Christmas time. The new school is coming along great.

Today was our first full day of the week because yesterday at Lake Norman Charter we had a 2-hour delay and on Monday and Tuesday we had E-Learning days. Today was the first day I met with my mentor and we worked on my poomsae.
Today was student teacher role reversal day where the students dress like the teachers and the teachers dress like the students. One kid dressed up as the Spanish teacher and the Spanish teacher dressed like him and they actually traded places. The kid taught Spanish and the teacher did what the kid usually does. That was probably the best Spanish class ever.
Yesterday was long and exhausting. I had my first mentee session. He was a nice sweet kid who was a High White Belt. I was very nervous and Master Chelley helped me throughout. I hope I can do better next time. I have a lot of homework from school as well.
I started my bbc today and i am really exited. I started doing 30 push ups to 100 push ups so that I don't strain myself and also so i can keep a good pace. I also helped out for the big testing so I got extra credits. I hope this everyone on the cycle will overcome the challenge and good luck to everyone.
I had a good day back at school. I had COLE after school. this is a team where we read books and then compete by answering questions about the book. it is fun and competitive. I had dinner and did exercises with Dad. it was good. I am looking forward to break soon.

Pretty good day. Kids had three hour delay so got a little extra sleep this morning. Needed it a bit. I am definitely not in the shape I was. Lots of work ahead of me, but feeling stronger each day. Push ups and sit ups are getting easier already. Pull ups is a different story... but working on it. It has been challenging running with all the ice and snow. As soon as I hit a wet patch I stop and walk softly as I don't want to hit black ice... too early for a dumb injury. Being cautious. But it slows me down and keeps me from staying on pace. Making it work. I like the daily practice on skills. It is good discipline. Making progress. Looking forward to tomorrow's classes.

I had school today, which I was not to happy about. It was a decent day. It probably would have been a good idea to at least get of the snow out of the way, because when you have hyperactive high schoolers pelting each other with snow balls, chaos occurs.
We are day 4 into the pre-cycle and I am definitely feeling it. It is a good feeling, and not as bad as last time starting. But I am a bit out of shape. Working hard up front to get back into shape for this cycle. We have plenty new to learn and want to get back to where I was. Took some down time between the cycles and I feel it. The snow days have helped us a bit, so I will take them. I am really excited about this cycle. We have a great testing group this time again... and I am excited to see how this cycle goes. Yesterday was another slow day. I played with my brother in the snow. I worked on my requirements. I am trying to work on my stances with my brother. I always wanted to learn how to cook Indian food and this morning my mom taught me how to make Indian fried bread. We call it Poori. It was hard but i really liked it. I have made samples for Master Chelley and Master Natasya to taste and approve so that i can write my new skill essay. Only if they like it. My dad and my brother liked it.
The snow storm hit this weekend and at my house we surprisingly only got about 4 to 5 inches of snow. I love winter and the entirety of season, including snow, but unfortunately, I can't go in the snow. Every time no matter how many layers I wear, my toes and fingers always turn as white as the snow itself, and then I can't feel them. But then later on, when I go back inside, they change temperature too quick that they are suddenly burning. It was still a fun weekend though, and I at least got to enjoy watching the snow, which along with watching the rain, is one of my favorite things to do.

Hello all. This is my first journal and i am very excited to start this Black Belt cycle. I plan on working very hard. It was my birthday on Saturday and I turned 8 years old. My brother also finished 8 years in Tae Kwon Do. He started the day i was born. I also had a good time with my brother playing in the snow. I also did my requirements for the day
One important part of keeping my body healthy that I have been working on is my diet. I tend to eat a lot of snacks at night, which I am trying to cut back on. This is extremely important, even between cycles.

Today has been long, I have done so much. And still I am pushing through, it’s rained a lot so my practices have all been canceled. Schools all good, but I can’t believe it’s already 2nd quarter I mean it feels like it just started.
During my mentor session today, we practiced brick breaking on the colored boards. It was the first time I had ever broken the brown board, which is the second most durable of them all. I had great difficulties breaking this board in the past. I'm glad to see that I've been improving over the years.
Today was a day filled with homework and college scholarship essays. I've been writing these essays since the beginning of summer, and the process has been very time consuming. I am almost done with the essays I have now, but by the time I finish them I will have found more scholarships to apply to and more essays to write for them.
Today I have a Speech and Debate tournament. I'm really nervous, because this is my second time ever competing, and even though my partner and I are prepared, I'm not sure how we'll do against other students. The topic is whether the US should follow the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, and can get kind of confusing at times, but it's pretty one-sided in favor of the US accepting the treaty, so I hope my partner and I get the pro side a lot. toady was a pretty good a day. There was a lot of heavy rain. Later in the day the power Wendy out and everyone was very happy. When i came back home i saw that a tree fell on my neighbors yrd that hits our yard. The important thing that everyone is safe. Today was a good day.
Another hurricane has hit the east coast today. I believe I have family in Florida, and I hope they are doing well. Thankfully the hurricane will become a tropical storm as it gets closer to the Carolinas. CMS has closed its schools tomorrow because of this, but I will still be attending school because my school runs on the class schedule of UNCC, which has not cancelled classes.
Today was pretty good I just did the PSAT’s which was pretty easy. Then there’s no school tomorrow so I get to sleep in today.
Today was kind of busy. Civil Engineering and Architecture was pretty relaxed, but English was not. I had a project due for English, along with an assignment from several pages from our novel. In addition to that, I had to create a presentation for TSA to give to the Academy of Engineering, which took me about two hours from my online classes in 3rd and 4th period. I also had a significant amount of physics work to catch up on. Overall, however, the presentation went great and I am finishing up my work.
Today I had the public black belt testing. I woke up, did my morning stuff, then I did my physical requirements, then I went to black belt testing. After I came back, I took a shower and went to my friends birthday party. After that, I came home and went to sleep.

I slept very long on Sunday because i was very tired of doing TKD continuously for at least 9 hour in total for my TKD testing. it was 6 hours for night through test. then 3 hour test the next day.

So, I was really nervous for testing on for Friday night, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was very long, as expected, but since I knew everything I needed to, it was pretty easy. Today, I had a math test in calculus II. Tomorrow, I have a test in computer science. Studying for these tests have been difficult. However, I've been studying for them like I have for the written test for the cycle; I put all of the information in a Google Sheets document, and view them every now and then. This technique has served me well!
Yes I still have no idea for a title but this time it has some relevance to the subject. So this is my last post for the cycle I would have done on yesterday but I forgot and was just to tired to care. I thought it went pretty well. So I got to go bye.
I enjoyed myself at the stick seminar earlier today. Not only did I learn new techniques, but I learned ways to apply them in fights. What I learned with the sticks can also apply to hand-to-hand; after all, the sticks are merely extensions of our bodies. Many of the strikes and blocks we do with them can be done without them. In a normal fight, I'm most likely going to be without my short sticks, so it's important for the techniques to carry over.
It had been several years since I learned how to do CPR. This was a good experience for me. I'm glad that I could potentially use the knowledge I am learning at King Tiger to potentially save lives. What we learn is very situational, but being able to defend yourself in a fight and perform CPR are very important skills to have.
Tonight is testing, and I am nervous but calm. I've been through it once before, and although many people may disagree, it's really not that hard. I have been working on my requirements for the past 14 weeks, and I know all of my stuff. I don't want to be overconfident, but I know I've got this, and I know everyone else has, too. Lately at school I have been swamped with school work as it is nearing the end of the first quarter, and I have had to miss 2 cross country practices this week because of it. I was able to miss school today to prepare for the test. So I got to sleep in but for the rest of the day I have been going over everything and preparing for my test. I am super excited to go to the overnight test and think I am ready.
Testing is tonight an I feel ready, but I am nervous too. This is my first black belt test. My tkd friends tell me that it's not that different from regular testing, but I'm still nervous. I know all of my requirements, so I feel like I am going to do just fine.
