Today was a good day, let me tell you what I did. This morning we were getting ready for picture day at school. When I got to school I started reading. And after we did math rotations and then enhancements, then it was lunch. When we where done we went to the class and finished math. When we were in the bathroom my teacher gave me a ticket for a prize for being quiet. Now I am going to start on my white belt essay. I can not wait for tomorrow. See you tomorrow.
So excited for the break this week. We have Wednesday off. idk why its in the middle of the week but im not complaining. Anyways just finished my homework and im about to do some requirements.
Had a pretty good weekend. Got some yard work done, worked on an essay for a bit. Carolina Panthers won too, that always helps!
Got my kinetics tape on my arm, and ready to go for my morning workout.Hopefully, won't need it any more after Wednesday's treatment.Terrible run yesterday. Supposed to run 10 miles for my half-marathon schedule.No way. Legs and whole body were exhausted.
The ankle is better, still swollen a bit and really sore, but better. I have to get back on top of requirements. Two weeks until the physical and written exam!
Today I spent the day watching Sunday Football with my family and it was great even I lost in my fantasy league I was still happy Carolina won.

Today I got a new dog! At first his name was Ford and I liked that one but we renamed him Luke. We were deciding between Ford, Luke, Roy, and Link. I like Luke because he is named after Luke Skywalker. His name was Ford because he was brought to the shelter in that type of car. We got him from the Mega Adoption Event at the Metrolina. We were the 237th family to adopt a pet at the event this weekend. I hope that all the other pets get adopted. They had cats and kittens there as well. I really wanted a new kitten. They cost $5 and I had $5 in my pocket. Mom and Dad asked me which one I wanted and I said we would go for the Dog. I also saw 5 camels but I don't think they were there to be adopted!
Today i went to my friends house. Then, i went to my mentee"s house to do a mentee session. Then, we went for a celebration.

Yay... My b day is tommorrow. Exiting! (That was cheesy) ok yeah I woke up, ate pancakes, showered, brushed teeth, got dressed, jewelry and face, all check all done in about like 3 hours... Oops we were supposed to go to this reservation at 12:30 and ended up missing it and going at 1 I think. Well yeah we ate. Dropped the guys off at home, girls left, went to HT and bought cupcakes, icing, and candy. Well we're just going to pass those out in lunch and homeroom. Today was fun, since my(our) bd is tomorrow, we ate at Sabi. My mom twin and I went to Harris teeter to buy cupcakes and candy for school, candy for our homeroom, and cupcakes for our friends. (I know, we're so nice, we get it for everyone(I'm just kidding!!!!so snob, I know) hehehe...don't take that the bad way. We decorated the cupcakes, than, I dunno. Yay! There's gonna be 4 teenagers in the hous! Older sis,19, older bro,17, twin,13, me13. Fun. Spell check is super annoying. Like I just misspelled annoying, and it changes it to a young!?!? Than I wanted that super to have a lot of u's and than it makes it with 1. Good day!
I had a great birthday weekend in Fayetteville. I was surrounded by family and wonderful food. This morning, I interviewed my parents and saved it as a video file for me to keep forever. Looking forward to another great week.
This morning I went to my church for the second time and was still getting used to it. First we did in the morning was we played games on the x-box and foosball tables. Then we went to this center where we talked about what we were going to do today and up coming events. After that we I went with the middle school people to our room. We talked about how we should not judge the Bible and how we should know what were saying about it carefully because you should always make sure what you say is correct. Then we went downstairs to see our parents.
Today has been good so far, let me tell you what we are doing. Today we woke up and watched TV. Now we are eating pancakes. After this we are going to go apple picking with some King Tiger friends. Today was ok. We got "yelled" at by master Evins becuase someone didn't listen to his instructions and we had to do 60 burpese. Omg. Why didn't that dude just listen to him in the first place? Now he has like 10 black belts hating on him, listen to directions!
Today i went to sparring class and black belt class and used my new sparring gear. Its a lot better
Today I met with my mentor. We worked on stick form 1 and staff form 1. We also did hapkido 1 - 10. In black belt class we worked on self defenses. Master Evins made us do high plank with one arm out with both hands. That made me tired.
sparring class was fun...a kid took soooo much time getting ready that we had to do 60 burpees. that was horrible. i lost track, but im pretty sure i didabout 50. life is nice, the bb class was funtoo. we did all self defense...that was nice...................i have 2 big tests on monday.....i studied for the science one, about pathogens and that stuff, and social studies about early settlements. I have the new update on my iPad, and it's really nice! I hope you have a nice day!
Oh boy it was a busy and productive day. Got up early to knock out some requirements but had to take care of a few work issues so got off track. Went to North Charlotte met with my mentor and worked on hapkido and black belt self defense. Took both black belt classes then sparring. Half way thru the second black belt class my back muscles started cramping but I plowed thru - -believe me it was not pretty but I made it. I know I have to hydrate more - - -along with stretching but hey this old body rebels when it works out solid that many hours in a row. All is good- - - came home and spent some time with my foam roller and the laundry mound. It will be a early night tonight then will look forward to tomorrow.
Today, i went to black belt class. The only thing that made me tired was the plank . It was hard! Then my friend came to my house to play . We played the xbox
today was pretty easy I just got up did all the morning stuff then I went to tae Kwon do when I got back I stayed at the house for a while and played out side. Then I went over to my friends house and played Xbox for a while then ate dinner did some other stuff then went to bed.
Today I helped out with the con-voy at the Olympic place. I helped set up tables and chairs and served food to people. I had fun and there was also raffle tickets being given away so people can get prizes. I can't wait to go back to the con-voy next year.

Yesterday i went to the fair with some middle school friends and high school friends, and it was fun. We stayed till eleven o'clock, My friends and i went on zero gravity which is a spinning thing that pushes you against the wall so you can't go forwards. I also went on Khaos, That ride goes swinging side to side while you spin around and it did get to the top then stopped for like 5 seconds and all the blood just rushed to my head. So i had a blast.
So today was ok. Since next Monday is my birth day two of my teachers decided to put their tests on that day. how nice. they both felt bad when they saw it was our b day, so my social studies techers is letting us either take it on monday or tuesday. that teacher really rocks. well anyways tdk was ok, there is this one kid (i am not naming names) that is pretty rude, sadly is a higher belt than us and younger than us. poor nicholas, my sister and later my brother and i had to struggle with. it was a pain. well good night!
Today was school picture day. Our class also got to have lunch in the classroom and watch a movie. The movie that we watched was called the box trolls. It was hilarious.
passed the half century mark yesterday... blessed and happy I am still having birthdays. I never imagined that growing older would be so tough. I "thought" I was a tough cookie when I was 21, who knew it wouldn't be until I turned 51 that I would start to see what a wimp I really was lol. I was able to get a morning workout but haven't felt so good for the past few days so actually spent most of my day resting. My mind is still in denial of what number I reached yesterday. It is my body that tries to continually remind me. No matter how hard it seems though, I am still holding onto the health I have and hope to continue TKD for many, many years to come. ( I wish you all could see how awesome my tornado kicks are in my mind.. ha ha )...
Today I had a project due and I have another to work and since this will be a busy weekend I will have to work a lot today and some tomorrow
The weekend is finally here. It has felt like a long weekend. In school a NC Forest Ranger came and taught us about wildfires. We even got to do some experiments with matches. After school I had to help my parents since we are going to a baby shower. I had to help make some food and make balloon flowers. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day with Tae Kwon Do, mentor session, baby shower, and a birthday party. That is all for me today.

Again as always thankful for my private lessons with Master Chin, she is able to break things down so I understand them. Sorry folks- - - you can not show me in class once and I get it - -my brain does not function that way and if it takes crazy sayings or nicknames to get me to remember so be it. We had a special seminar tonight for completion team - -wow those kids rock - -what focus!! Wish I could have lasted the entire class but it is what it is and with long day tomorrow up North bed needs to come early tonight. Lights out!!
Today we got our math tests back. I got a 100. I am so happy. In science we did a butterfly camoflauge lab. We made butterflies in places we thought other science classes would not find. It was fun, but mine got found. Oh well.
During the evening my brother, mom, and I decided to go for a walk. We started walking at Oxford Dr. and went all the way to Surry Rd. We walked one mile from our house and back from Surry Rd. First when I entered the road Cooper, my neighbor's dog who lives across the street from me was waiting for me at his fence. Right when my foot hit the road he started barking at me like crazy. I walked past him glad he was out of the way. I also saw three more dogs up the street that were barking at us right after I caught up with my family because I was finishing my desert. When we got home I was so excited to be away from all of those loud barking dogs, a place to rest in my bed.

Got my second treatment on my tennis elbow today.Looks like one treatment next week will have me fixed up for testing in Myrtle Beach.
today was a teacher work day so I didn't go to school. I had a very restful day and I slept and played videogames and did TKD.
This week has been a good one. Let me tell you what I did. On Monday we learned a new skill, rounding. I knew how to round so it was easier for me to do it. On Tuesday I stared the white belt challenge and it was picture day, it was a good class and after I had sparring. And on Friday, today we finished ixl and reading.What I am trying to say is that... Did another 4 miles again this morning. Ow! My legs are very stiff now. I will be doing a lot of stretching tonight. Got a good number of requirements done early again, but still some more to do today. Had a great black belt and PMAA class last night with Master Cavazos teaching. I was able to do all 4 Hapkido forms with Master Richie, and got a chance to do Hapkido numbers 1-20. 12 more to refresh on!
I'm excited to head to Fayetteville today with my boys. I have not seen my parents in months and they're excited to see us as well. I'll be celebrating my birthday in Fayetteville without Lori, but that's OK because she has to work this weekend anyway. I'm looking forward to all of the Korean FOOD that my mom will prepare. She's already called me this morning to see when I was departing. I'll get a lot of my essays done this weekend and will interview my dad as one of my heroes.
Got out of class at 9:30 and been working on my project since. This class is so extra lol. Whatever thought i better get an A for my masterpiece. Well im tired so gn

Today in Social Studies we learned that some fast food companies buy meat from people that put antibiotics in the animal. Of course it helps the animal, but when we eat the meat it messes it up. The companies that bought the good meat were Chipotle and Panera Bread. The crazy part was that McDonalds bought better meat then Subway, pretty crazy. At Tae Kwon Do, for my mentor session we went over Hapkido. After Tae Kwon Do I went to party. I didn't stay there for long, just for about 1 hour and left. That is all for me.

Today at school was the same as any other day. We had our classes, ate lunch, went to specials, went to recess, then it was time to go home. When my dad picked me up from afterschool we went to go get haircuts so I could look good for school picture day.

We just finished watching a Bones. My mom found the series on Netflix and has been working on watching them all. I think the show is ok. I like all of the characters equally. My favorite episode was when they talked about Chupacabras. This was my favorite part because they are mythical creatures with two fangs pointing down and one fang pointing up. That is why this was my favorite episode.

Today in the morning I walked with my neighbor, Mr. Rogers, when we got to a line that was near Tuckeseegee Rd. we turned around. We also saw a blue copperhead with a gray square pattern in the blue color. We talked most of the way and I enjoyed this walk. I hope I get to walk with him again.
Today I had a Statistics Test in math. It was pretty easy. In science we did a counting turtles lab. It was cool.In ELA we had a Prepositions quiz.I am pretty sure I did good.
Whew! Ran 4 miles this morning, and knocked out a lot of requirements early! Definitely needed some extra Spark today. Got my 10 page essay started as well. I will get most of that taken care of tomorrow night and on Saturday after yard work. Getting ready for black belt and PMAA classes tonight.
I've practiced tae kwon do almost half of my life. I've been an instructor about half of that time. I try to live the life that would be exemplary of a Master, but when someone harms your kids, all of that flies out the window. Noah expressed to me yesterday that he was being bullied by an older child. He was being teased due to his small stature. Luckily, Caleb was around and told him to stop and it ended there. I then found out Caleb saved Noah another time. This time, a child was on top of Noah covering his mouth and nose so he couldn't breath. Caleb pushed him off. (I'm still pissed off as I type). I told my boys if at any time someone touches them and they feel threatened, they can do whatever then need to in order to be safe. ANYTHING. Even if it means...
i dont want to forget to write a journal entrie so im wrting now in art. i have art major:) its year long art only eighth raders get it. so yeah i think im gonna go to tdk today. i went to seim yesterday. my face froze off cuz it was soooooo cold. it was so cold i could have opuked it was like jump in and like screeeeaaaam that was only have your body tho then when you dive back in. omg. my eyebrows like froze off.
The day was horrible, didn't have too much homework, but we had swimming.(we actually always have swimming, but it's just tough to squeeze it in. I have no days, exept for Sunday's, were I don't do anything.) from 6:15 to 8:30. Torture. If you went outside tonight, it was freezing. (Not actually, but it felt like it) and we were swimming outside. It was supppper cold, my face felt like it was going to fall off. I did a few requirements, and at swimming. So that was my terrible day!( it actually wasn't because I ate cheescake, so that's good:)

Tonight we worked on bow staff forms in pmaa. It was fun but I need to work on twirling. Badly lol
Today my parents celebrated their anniversary so I got to spend the evening with Grandma. We went to dinner at Outback and I got ribs. Mmmm, yeah. I ate too much. We split a fudge Sundae with raspberry sauce for dessert. I got unlimited shrimp with my meal so had two shrimp as well. It was one of the best meals I have ever had.
Man...there are just not enough hours in a day! Does anyone else feel like that sometimes? I know time management is the key to surviving the black belt cycle. Or at least one of the keys! :) Got another essay done today! Tomorrow i am planning on doing the physical test to see if I have improved overall. Hopefully my times/reps are already increasing! Doing them spread out over the course of the day is definitely much different than a one minute all-out time. We will see how it goes!

Well my book is full, are we done? Day 70 for those who did the pre cycle venture, would have liked to be further along but happy with the progress made. Up early to knock out pushups, situps and pullups before work. After work it was off to Home Depot for many supplies- - - our house is in disaster mode and trying to get it back together. Tomorrow will be very full day and more focus on tkd, gotta balance it all out.
Today, i had a science test in school. I know i passed! I went to sparring and i was exhausted! I ate at Denny's for dinner.
Some kid hacked the school computers at my school lol. He changed the schools website and stuff it was so funny. But anyways had a great day today and did the usually requirements.
Really bummed. Tried on three pairs of my "Fall" work slacks before I found a pair that fit. One pair would not even close at the waist. How can I feel so healthy and do so many kicks, sit ups and push ups and not fit into my clothes? I'm getting bulkier. I'll never be skinny, but I would like to fit in my nice pants. Just bummed. Enough whining for today. It's been a good week with the cooler temperatures. The classes have gone well. A lot of running around over the next week.

Today I went to a regular class and then sparring and then helped out in a class. I also had my last mentee session. In sparring we did like 5 rounds today. In the normal classes we did a lot of poomsaes. With my mentee I did Chagi Sool and Hwa Rang Poomsae

Today I sparred at King Tiger. Sparrring to me is relaxing. We did five rounds tonight. I need more hyper classes, I'm going to have to check into that.
Stretching takes time... Feeling loose, after being in pain for the past hour. Remembering to breathe is the hard part. I wish there was a fast track to being able to do side and front splits. :)

Today was my dad's birthday (not telling how old he is). We didn't do much except go to a Middle Eastern restaurant. In Social Studies class we learned that two Syrian refugees SWAM to get to Greece. They were trying to rest on one of the two islands that belonged to Greece. Well they never made it to the islands, but were picked up by the Coast Guard. Right now they are living in Germany. Had my first mentor session with Master Knight. In Black Belt Class we went over Hapkido. That is all for me.
so its my dad bday(in6 days its mine) and we got him an oreo cheescake, and since we moved, we have no lighter, so because of that, everyone decided to save the cake for tomorrow.(im like waaaat?!?!?! noo!!)today was super confusing. so we went to get our pictures, im gonna admit, i dont look toooooo ugly. than, we anted to get jasons deli for my dad, and we didnt have clothes, so we had our dad get us clothes(which is supper confusing)and when he finally arriveed, it was like, what, 7:20? and we had no time to eat, so we went to PMAA in jeans and a non TKD tshirt. and it was super confusing. and my mom got us kettle cooked chips, not baked. i HATE kettle cook.ewww. baked is sooo much better.bye.PMAA was great.
Today was pretty good I got up did all the morning stuff then went to the buss stop. The buss takes forever when I get on because we make like 20 million stops with like 3 people at each stop. It's ridiculous. When I got to school it went fine did all my regular school day stuff. When we got to tae Kwon do I did my homework, ate snack an all that stuff. The I took class after class I stayed for sparing class and in the middle of it I got called for pictures. Pictures were fun because we got to choose weapons to hold and I had to take a pictures with my sister and when we were doing them we held weapons and it looked like I was going to chop her head off, it was cool.
It' been a good day. Learned a lot in both the black belt class and the PMA class. People are so nice to me and willing to teach. Some times I feel like I'm bumbling along. Got in some requirements today. The change in the weather helps so much. It sucks to have a hot flash and get sweaty before I even get started with class. Got my flu shot today. I'm determined not to get sick. Last year it took me 3 months to get over the flu. I don't have time to be sick
This was the first time that I had gone to class in a week because o wasn't here and it was good to be back and I started my whitebelt challenge today.
Today I mentored Gregory. We did poomsaes and self defenses for the session. We worked on yellow belt, green belt, blue belt, and red belt. The poomsaes we worked on were Il Chang, Sam Chang, Oh Chang, and Pal Chang. I worked with him on pal Chang a little bit and taught him a little more things so he can be able to soon know the whole entire form. We also got through red belt self defenses until the session was over. I can't wait to see him tomorrow.
Today, i went to school and we learned a new topic in math. When i got home, i did my homework and my requirements. Then i went to black belt class. I got a leadership 2 in the family class!
Today was picture day at King Tiger. I was one of the last people to go. I did several poses and used a few weapons. I used the sword, the dagger, sias, and comas. The picture I liked the best was the one where I had one hand on my waist and one hand in a backfist. So my favorite picture was one without a weapon. One of the bad things though was the fact that my mom didn't let me let the background I wanted. I wanted one with two dragons, one blue ice dragon and one red fire dragon. Mom made me chose between a background with a twister in the back and a background with blue smoke. I picked the blue smoke and a second one with the earth disappearing behind me. That is how my picture day went!
Happy to be back in class tonight however do not know which is more challenging Inst. Hsins red stripe or sparring class- - -whew tired. Lot accomplished today and feeling better, not quite 100% but will take it.
