Late Christmas Post!

Apologies for not posting for the last two days, but here is the run down of the last few days:

  • December 25th (Christmas day): Woke up early and opened up presents with my family. Before I could sit down and enjoy breakfast, my sister and I found a stray male pitfall roaming around the back yard. Couldn't have been more than a couple months old. I asked my neighbors if the puppy was theirs but they said no. I tried approaching the dog but it seem scared and would keep its distance. But it was totally harmless. It kept walking around the neighborhood so I decided to follow it and see if someone was looking for them. After an hour, he seemed to trust me and followed me back home. After coming up to me, I could see that it was covered in dirt and he had scars around his neck as if the collar he had been wearing was choking him. Since animal control was closed for the holiday, I had to called the police. Until they came around, I sat outside with it and cleaned it up with my sister. The police eventually came to exam the puppy. After looking at the scars, they found out that the dog in fact had been abused and that he hadn't been fed for a while. As they were taking it to their car, the actual owner had drove into the neighborhood. He approached us and asked us to hand over the dog, but instead he was arrested and taken. Though it wasn't the Christmas morning that I was expecting, it was great to know that the puppy was out of harms way now. Spent the rest of the day with family and baking and enjoying the rest of Christmas.
  • December 26th: Today was my dads birthday and my parents anniversary! Lucky for my dad because he gets a Christmas gifts, birthdays gifts, and anniversary gifts! Spent the morning with my parents and then had to handle some school work before the semester starts. I thought being a senior in college would make things easier, but instead I got more work to do! Stayed on the phone with my advisor and scheduling the dates to take my GRE's and my DAT's. Also going for my EMS certification, so I had to schedule my classes for them.
  • December  27th: Finally able to get a workout done today! met up with my friends and personal trainer early in the morning and finally began my first workout plan. Thursdays are abs and chest day, so covered alot of sit-ups and chest workouts. This is the following schedule:
    • Mondays: lower body (leg day)
    • tuesday: back and shoulders
    • wednesday: arms
    • thursdays: chest and abs
    • fridays: cardio
    • saturday: light workouts on everything
    • sunday: rest

By sticking with this schedule and working out twice a day (once in the morning and then in the evening) I basically can cover 200+      of my basic physical requirements.

  • December 28th (today): CARDIO today! Started the day with a mile run and then knocked out a few of my pushups and sit ups before breakfast. Studied for a couple hours and then went to the gym and covered the rest of my cardio workout. Spent the night watching some videos on my poomsaes and practicing them so that I am ready when classes start back up.
