Woke up today pretty late since we got in to New Jersey late last night. I woke up, ate breakfast, and tried to do as much of my morning routine as I could. I then went down to the pool and used all the open area they had with my dad to do some requirements. I started catching up on a few things I have gotten behind on. Then I got ready to go to my dad's friend's house. He has an insane collection of Warhammer 40k, vintage toys, newer toys, and even real WW2 and Vietnam War era stuff. It was insane, I played a game of Warhammer with my dad against my dad's friend. I have only played Warhammer 40k once before and I learned how much I enjoy it. It gave me motivation to continue finishing building and painting my Warhammer 40k army. We got dinner half way...
Hi King Tiger Family. Here in NJ for the long weekend. Hanging with some friends. Brought Nate with me. It has been a blast. Nate and I got in real late last night. Landed in PHL around 12:30am and it was after 2am when we got settled in hotel. We slept in and then did some requirements at the hotel. The bottomline is that you always have to be resourceful in finding places to do requirements. The hotel had an indoor pool area and so we cleared some tables and chairs, and made space to do some requirements. We also used the gym which also had a pull up bar. We will do it again tomorrow. week 2 alreadyyy!!! today i was looking forward to sleeping but i had to get up and go run and i realized how much I've improved in running since my last cycle. even though i walked a lot of it i still could see improvement from last time which i guess is good. after i had to skip black belt class because i had to go to school because i had an all district audition. i was there from 8-4 pm and i got and i went to sleep. i went to tuition (sadly) and then did some requirements. and i have a big fat headache from the cold this morning so that's really fun. tomorrow i look forward to sleeping and i will beat anyone up who wakes me before 1 pm.
Hello! Today I had to I had to wake up early to do the running portion of the pre-test. After I ran, my dad told me my time was 23:08, I was decently happy with that but I didn't want to try to hard. After that I went to King Tiger Lake Norman to attend the black belt class at 8:15. After that I went home and my dad went out, so my nana came and watched me until my dad came back. Later on in the day I did my exercises and played video games. :)
Up bright and early to run with all the other black belt candidates. Got my 2 miles in and went to King Tiger Lake Norman. Worked on hapkido with Instructor Courtney. It was her idea and a huge help. We had a great black belt class. I came home and got a little work done, did my requirements, and took Jovi to his piano lessons. Got in some rolls and falls today. I'm lucky to have mats to use at home. I've had NFL games on late afternoon and evening. Hope everyone is feeling good with their run today.
Today was my sisters Birthday and we were all still tired from last night. Today I didn't do much. I took a swim in the pool then I ran 2 miles and regret came to me a few minutes later, it was so hot yet cold outside and I was so tired after I just took a nap. After I woke up we celebrated my sisters birthday and all that birthday stuff. It's really late now and I'm practically clawing my eyes out right now because I'm so tired. Today was so stressful and very chaotic. We were leaving for Florida today and were all very stressed. After school it started pouring rain and I was so thankful I brought an umbrella because I had to walk home today. As soon as I got home I was still not done packing and had to quickly do that. I had no time for anything today and I'm going to regret it later but I had to do what I could. We took off at 8:30pm and got there at around 10pm we tock a shuttle and I thought it would be a good time to try pull ups, on the train, while it was moving. But I did it, I was so tired as soon as i got to the home and I just went straight to bed. I hope everyone had a good day and stay safe!

First I woke up early and got ready to go to the track to run for the pretest and it was cold!! 🥶🥶 We got there early and I started my run early (oops sorry Master Chelley!!) I finished my first mile in 12 mins and 15 seconds. I then ran again with all the Bochos because we were all supposed to run together. Finally we went back to King Tiger and I took blackbelt class and then helped out with the family class.. After I helped out I did some more black belt stuff. Then we finally went home and Anthony mom and I made eggs for breakfast. After I ate I relaxed and watched some youtube and played the switch. Now Im gonna get ready for bed!
Today I had to get up at five in the morning and run a mile, my time was 10:05. Then I went to eat with my sister for her birthday.
Happy Saturday! Today I woke up early and started running around 6:55 for the two mile pre test. Then I went to blackbelt class and I did some leadership credit. In blackbelt class we basically did Poomsaes and self defense. When I got home, I did my stuff, and prepared to watch the browns game... but they lost. Time to go to sleep!
This morning I had to run my "baseline" mile, unfortunately it was around 33 degrees fahrenheight. It was quite tough because of the weather. I eventually got through it despite the temperature. All-In-All pretty tough even though I was in "the back of the pack".
Today was the second day of my vacation and my first day waking up in Jamaica. I started the day doing some requirements on our balcony while at the Carribean Sea. Then after that I had breakfast and went to the water park for 2 hours. The slides there were fun but oen of them were pretty scary. After that we had lunch and now we are about to head to the beach. I plan to work on some poomsaes and self defense on the beach.

I woke up as usual and went to school. Was a pretty usual day until we got let out of school about 25 minutes early due to the bad weather. I didn't think we ever got bad weather but I am not going to complain about getting out of school early. I hung out with my girlfriend before I had to leave for the airport. Today I headed to New Jersey. Our flight got delayed about 4 times and we ended leaving about 2 hours late. We got to Philadelphia, got our luggage, got the rental car, drove to New Jersey, got into the hotel, showered, and now I am here.
Sort of a boring day huh? I did unfortunately injure my knee, and I hope it heels for the run in a few hours from when I’m writing this entry. I am just hoping that my knee allows me to finish the mile without any pain. On the bright side, the weekend is here, meaning no school to worry about…….

today at north charlotte school we did a seminar called board breaking goal setting and pizza party seminar what we did is talk about is goal setting and outcomes then we had dinner which was pizza then on one side we wrote what our goals are then we wrote what the things that could distract us the we came on the big mat the instructor held our board the we broke them then he gave us thicker board then we broke those everyone was astonished then we played ninja frisbee that was fun there were three rounds of doom just kidding then everyone got shoes on then we left the end huzzah

Hi King Tiger Family! Today was a pretty good day since it is Friday! I had a vocab quiz for Bio today and as usual, got a 100. I say usual because it is most of the scores I get in Science. Sometimes a 90 or 95 shows up, but I don't let that ruin my day. After school, I came home and our neighbor gave us some homemade KFC style chicken and biryani, which is tenderized meat with spices that is mixed with rice and more spices. After school I had to go to work and we had a black belt class. After I worked a ninja night and then got to help set up for the class the next day. Hi Everyone, my half-birthday was yesterday but we're celebrating today because yesterday was a school day. :/ I'm waiting for my Mom to get out of the shower so that we can eat ice cream cake. We've never really celebrated half birthdays before. It's kind of a new thing for our family. Actually, it started last year. Last year I got a gift from my dad, but this year we're just having cake. Today at school I had a math test and I was pretty nervus, but I managed to get trough it without problems. At recess I ran a mile on the football field after that I did push ups and sit ups with my friends. When I got home I ate and after I ate I went to Friday black belt class. Wile I was there we were graded on our self defense after I got home I ate dinner.

Today woke up feelin good cause its a friday! But I forgot we had a science test today and I got a B+ on it. Which is not quite an A but also not a C. Anyways other than that it has been a pretty good day. I am kind of nervous about the run tomorrow but I know that I will do good anyways.

This is the first cycle I'm not working at King Tiger. It's different and it brings a new set of benefits and challenges. I have to work harder to make time to assist in class, and meeting with my mentee and mentor. Today my boyfriend and I took the rat we found outside to the vet. It been more confirmed that she's not a wild one and someone most likely abandon her. She got a clean bill of health, so now we have to decide what to do, keep her and slowly introduce her to ours or find someone else who's able rehabilitate her. Today I took it easy with physical req. because I want to save my energy for tomorrow runs.
Today was the first day of vacation so I do not have much to say. First I got to the airport and got on a plane 3 hours later. Then I arrived at Jamaica 2 hours later. Then rode the bus for 2-3 hours. The I finally arrived at the resort and went to my room and started typing this.

today i had to go to jail and we had maps testing so i so done within the first 3 hours. the rest of day was so boring and i had a hard time staying awake. i had so much homework and i had to get to sparring class so i ended up watching a 45 minute long edpuzzle assignment while doing my requirements. now i know what you thinking, "hansika don't do that you're not gonna learn anything from the video." well trust that i will fail my test tomorrow on that content. i went to sparring class and did a mentor session with master weeks. i then came home and then did my homework until 11:51 and then i gave up and said I'll do it tomorrow. now im writing this.
I reviewed hapkido 1-6 today and Sipjin. There so much to learn, evening at this degree. Master Evins showed me the King Tiger app and where I can watch the hopkido forms. I still need to review them with partner. I've been practicing color belt self-defense on my own, but during class today, it was the first time I've done them with someone sense the cycle starts. Sparring was great, my endurance feels good, and it can only improve if I keep training and recovering right. For, example I probably could have more energy if I brought a snack and not have the last thing be on my stomach ice cream. I remember the first sparring class I took after recovering from hyperthyroidism. After months of being out of breath and fatigue, it felt good to exercise and have the energy to do it. 1/11/24: School was really good today. It flew by fasth and I had very little homework. I was so happy because usually I have so much homework it stresses me out. After school went to KT Harrisburg and assisted with some classes, had a mentoring session with Instructor Connor, and did one of my weekly classes. AFterward, dinner with my mom and home to relax. Journal for Thursday Hello King Tiger Family! It is Sparring day. Honestly, I can't wait because sparring is literally using your strength , power, and techniques to defeat an opponent. I went school today and I did what every ninth grader does at school: take notes, do the classwork, have fun, try to finish the homework at school, all that stuff. After that, I went to taekwondo. Every time when my car gets stuck in traffic, my dad says it is because of people coming back from work. I, on the other hand, think, "If they are coming back from work, shouldn't they be cruising down the I-77 highway instead being slow?" Like even a grandma in her 90s can walk faster than the cars in traffic. Because of the traffic, I came late and missed my volunteering hours for High Belt Class. I woke up this morning for school normal time; it felt weird getting up so early after so many days off and delayed for school. I had a pretty normal day at school except I left for about and hour for an Orthodontist appointment. Afterschool I had a track meet. I enjoyed the meet, none of my friends from other schools were there so I didn't have quite as much competition. I won both the mile and 2 mile and PRed in the 2 mile. Overall was an enjoyable meet. I hung out with my girlfriend and got food. Now I am here.
Journal For Wednesday Hello King Tiger Family! Due to a series of chaotic weather yesterday, there was a 2 hour delay in all the Iredell County schools. The last time I heard something like that was in Connecticut, which was in 2021. To me, a 2 hour delay means an extra 2 hours of sleep. My sleep has been out of control. I mean way out of control. If I went to bed at 9 or 9:30, I'll stay awake until midnight. That means that I'll lose some hours of sleep, which causes my whole day to spin off course. I had Spanish, PE, Economics, and Biology today. Today was a B Day. Tomorrow is an A day, which includes Orchestra, ELA, Math, and Bio. For Bio, I have to come everyday, no matter what class it is. Today i had a test in math that i got an 88% on and i redid it to hopefully get a higher score. I also finished my paper essay starter for ELA that was pretty challenging. I now have a good set up for better working on my pull ups and am now excited to go back to tomorrow and work on them.
Today wasnt very normal because our power went out at 4 am and i had to get ready in the dark so that was hard,but school went normally i have a quiz in spanish tomorrow and i have an assignment in reading thats also due. The power was still out when i got home so i just made myself a snack and we decided to go to my cousins house in huntersville because my dad had to get work done i also got my new glasses. By the time we got home the power was back and i finished the last of my workouts and now i have to shower and go to sleep.
Journal For Tuesday Hello King Tiger Family! If you read my last journal, you would known there is no school today. My day was... well, you could not say it was boring and at the same time, you could not say it was extraordinary. I'll call it average. I woke up at like 10:00 am, did some studying, and some requirements. I played a board game called carrom board, which is an Indian game that is similar to pool, but instead of a stick and 15 balls, everything is shaped like a checker coin. I can't say it was tiring(except for the study part) but, so far I am gradually increasing in my goals. I try to different from the day before and and is still trying to do it.
I did not waste today. This morning I woke up and the power was out and we didn't have school for the 4th time and I wasn't happy about that because I'm tired of being in the house. Me and my dad went to Waffle House for breakfast and then we said "now what?" So I just waited until we had sparing class. I had a lot of fun but my favorite part of that class was boxing at the end, I think I wore Instructor Max and he wore me out a little.
Journal For Monday: Hello, King Tiger Family! Today went well. I went to school, did my homework, and met with some bad news: I won't come to classes on Mondays and Tuesdays. I was sad to hear it but, from my parents' side, it is reasonable. The average gas price is about 3 dollars, and my parents don't want to waste money on gas to go to taekwondo, which from Mooresville, is 20 minutes away. School, on the other hand, was good. Orchestra was a bit fun too. Otherwise, everything was usual. I did some requirements once I finished. Turns out, due to high winds, heavy rain, and possible tornadoes, all the schools in Iredell County(which includes my school) will have no school tomorrow. Hooray!

Today when I got home from school after science olympiad club I worked on my 4 exercises and relaxed until I got ready to teach my mentee. At 5:45, I started teaching him and when I was finished, I assisted the 6:00 class. Then after class was finished I had my first sparring session of the cycle and it was pretty fun. Hard to balance parenting, work, and home with the black belt cycle. Hope everyone is managing their own balance. Got in all my requirements done early today except running which I did around lunch. I am being very methodical about my runs. I am doing a couch to 5k type method to get myself running 2 miles. I have done this previously and feel like I'm going to get there. Went to sparring class tonight. Sparring class is my nemesis and it always feels good to have another sparring class behind me. Proud to see all the kids out there working their hardest!
Today at school I went to this special thing called SB9 and we had some fun there. Then I can home and practiced basketball. Now I'm excited to go to sparring class
Today we finely had a normal day of school because for the past two days there was a storm and we had a two hour delay. Also my friend gave me a 3-D printed red boat and the other day he gave me a 3-D printed snake! Witch was white.
Good Morning King Tiger. It is Thursday and the Lord has blessed us with another day. I have ton of work to do today. I just dropped Nate at school and got into the office. I work for USAA and our office is in SouthEnd (Charlotte). Not a terrible commute this morning. I am settling into my day. I am a desk jockey... meaning I sit at a desk and on calls most of the day. So, that is why I love cycle so much. It is very different from my work life. It is physical and challenges me. I did some requirements this morning, and will probably do some later. I am excited for the day. Again, God has blessed us with another one, so how will you use it? Take care.
I can’t fall asleep, even though I just lied to someone that I was tired. I guess I just needed some alone time to think. I’ve finished week one which feels so relieving and everything is getting easier. School is starting to pile on and more of that “college prep” work is being dropped like a four-hundred degree pan making contact with body temperature skin, burning and leaving a mark on your palm as the pain releases pressure from your muscles, tightened by stress. Except this time, that stress is not there, and there is no contact. There is something to absorb the pain. I think I’m starting to get the hang of the cycle, and it’s about time……….

1/10/24: Overall today was pretty boring, but there was a lot of stuff to accomplish. I had a lot of chemistry homework that has confused me for days, but I think I finally got it. I got in my run and physical requirements. No class today as I had performance band prepaing for a concert Sunday. More homework after band. Ended the night with 48 minutes of poomsae and self defense. Overall an average day. Hopefully tomorrow will be even better!
Today my dad took me to the gym after school and i did all my exercises. I use the treadmill and i walk/jog 2.5 miles. Then I went home and worked on my homework. I was so tired that I went to bed earlier tonight.

Today I woke up later than usually because we had a two hour delay for school. This delay messed me all up because I didn't have my regular sleep and eating schedule, but we pushed through. School was pretty good, it was a "b" day my least favorite day but I made the most of it. After school I went to run club and got ready for my race tomorrow. I found out my friend from a rival team will not be racing which is upsetting because he is my only local competition. Then I came home, hung out with my girlfriend, got ready for bed, and now I am here.

Today when I woke up I was upset about having to go to school after a day off. Then I got the news that there was a 2 hours delay so I decided to get all my exercises done for today execpt poomsae and self defense. When I arrived at school I was a bit later than usual but still on time. My classes were very easy today since they were only 40 minutes each. Once I got home I ran to Chess practice to get my running in. After I went to the 6:45 class and had a mentor session then just did poomsae. Once I got home I ate dinner and watched TV. Today school was delayed for 2 hours. This made me happy because I had more time to practice, run a mile and enjoy myself. When I arrived at school I went to class and talked to my friends. After that we soon started class when we switched classes we found out P.E was only 5 mins due to the two hour delay of school starting so we just played one round of silent ball. Hi, today my school did not have a delay sadly, but I did have a longer recess. After school I did my homework, I had a head ache so I couldn't do my exercises at that moment. After I took a small nap, my dad and I went to Pizza Hut to pick up our order. Then when we got home ate, and my head ache got better so I could do my exercises. Have a nice night!

These few days I've been able to get in 2 class credits, 2 leadership credits, and a session with my mentees. I still need to get in a session with my mentors this week. I decided my new skill would be hand knitting and ordered a beginner kit today. I started trying to pull together a personal mission statement. Hope everyone is having a great week.
When I woke up this morning I thought mom overslept bc it was already 730!! But she told me we had a 2 hour delay! I did my black belt stuff and got ready for school. We walked to school to get a mile in since I am behind on them because of the rain! When I got to school I had the same old blocks. Finally I got to King Tiger and took class. Then we went home and I played a little video games and we had dinner. Then mom realized we hadn't made MiMi a birthday card yet!!! 😲 Anthony and I each made one quickly and now I am going to get ready for bed! Goodnight!
Good evening King Tiger. It was a pretty good Wednesday. Nate has a two hour delay. I got to sleep in a whole 30 minutes... except our 100 lbs German Shepherd was up many time during the night with an upset belly. I will just say it was not fun. I got Nate settled for the day and then went to work. Normal work day full of problem solving. Then came home, did some requirements, and ate dinner. Now I am writing this. I think the biggest challenge I have with Black Belt Cycle is figuring out the new norm with all the requirements and classes, and still balancing the rest of life. Today I got to sleep in 2 hrs due to school being delayed. It felt good. While at school a chief meterologist came to talk to all the 5th graders about weather. The rest of my day I stayed in my homeroom and completed math, science, ELA work without rotating classes.
Wonderful weather, considering the storm yesterday. My crossfit workouts have been strangely in sync with the cycle. Monday we did pull ups and jump rope, today we did pull-ups and push-ups. Went to king tiger early to help with after school class before work. I got my curriculum sheet and highlighted the requirements I know. There’s a lot to still to learn, even at my belt. I’m going to bed early tonight. I need to rest. Excited for class and sparring tomorrow.
Today I got to sleep in a little earlier because we had a 2 hour delay for school. It was stormy yesterday and some of the roads flooded. They wanted to make sure the roads were pretty clear and dried up. So I only got an hour for each subject which was fun. I was able to run my mile on the playground today at school. Tonight we are having tacos and then headed to TKD for the high belt class. We are also going to do some sparring.
Stayed home today with my pets. Fun fact about me, my boyfriend and I have a dog, a kitten, 4 rats, and a rat in our hospital cage because we found her outside. Definitely not a wild rat, most likely someone released it outside, she very timid, won't bite, but hides under her bedding. I didn't start doing requirements until later in the day. I slept in, then got some other errands done. I couldn't do jump ropes in my apartment, so I did penguin taps (you jump like a penguin and double tap your legs. I worked on them when I was learning how to do double jumps. It was actually tough to do that for 1 minute no stop. Hello! Nothing much happened today, I was home from school because of the weather and will additionally be receiving a two-hour delay in the start of school tomorrow. I had a lot of time to myself today, so I finished all of my physical requirements for week one, and was able to do some reading. I read a comic book and a book about office environments, (complete opposites, right?). I was not able to run any miles today because of the rain, so I played a virtual game with my friends. :)
1/9/24: Everyone was out of school today except me :( My school was in session even though lots of folks did not show up. Talked to some friends and completed homework. Worked out for completion of my daily requirements. Beginning to make a calendar for the week as it is going to get busier and lots to get accomplished. Cooked a great spaghetti dinner for my mom. Spent some quality time with mom and watched a movie after dinner.
Once week one is over, maybe stress and anxiety will be carried away. A train stopping at every requirement to pick up what’s been completed, but drop off what’s next. I know I have plenty of time but yet I am treating everything like the deadline is tomorrow. I still haven’t read my book for English which I am usually super quick on doing, despite it being only 12 required pages by tomorrow. I can knock it out in 15 minutes but I just keep telling myself I’m behind. So which is it? Am I behind or ahead? And why do I feel this way about everything I do…….
Hi Everyone, how's your day been? No response? Wow, ok, anyways, like most of you I was home from school today because it was sprinkling outside and there was a breeze. I had all day to get my requirements done and I had my little brother to help. He did rolls and falls and he held the paddle while I did my kicks. Overall, I was pretty hyped about having the day off, but I'm a little stressed about the classwork I have to finish. Well, it's after 10pm and I'm supposed to be sleeping soooooo... I woke up and I went to school pretty early. I got to see my teacher's daughter named Ruthie. She is really cute. I finished all of my school work and I went home on the bus hanged out and did my stuff and then I went to TKD to finish the night. We got to spar and I practice poomsaes.
Today I got to stay home from school because we had bad weather. It was windy and rainy all day. The creek behind our house flooded. I got to finish a bunch of my TKD stuff for the cycle and I went to TKD pretty early to finish the rest of my stuff and get pumesaes and self defences down. I did my written test again and got 100. I went home to eat ice cream and go to bed.
Today when i went to work at tkd i helped a little boy onto the mats named Ethan. He was very upset and didn’t get onto the mats until the end of class during a game. But when he did he calmed down and enjoyed class. After class i helped him make a friend.
I was bored this whole day because we didn't have school and it was raining outside so I couldn't play or run. So I just did my homework and build LEGOS but then that got boring so I played video games with my friends.
Today I was off school and I relaxed most of the day and while I was at home I did my exercises. After I did my exercises I relaxed again until 5:15, when I went to class I assisted in that class. Today I woke up and It was pouring rain outside. I had breakfast and worked on some homework then started cycle requirements. I started with pushups went to jump rope then did the rest of it, I worked double time today since I missed a day of it, then did kicks. During a break I called my best friend and we looked outside of how powerful the wind and rain was outside, then as we were looking outside we saw my neighbor's outside table completely flip over and the chair fall not too long after. We were sitting there not saying anything because we didn't think the wind was that bad and thought everyone was being overdramatic about it. After that, I went back to finishing my homework. Today I was at King Tiger ALLL day because there was no school. As soon as I got there I worked on my blackbelt stuff and played some videogames. We played big mat games and had lunch. After lunch we played more big mat games and then had classes. I helped out in class and after I did a mentor and a mentee session. After that I went to the back and played more videogames and then I took the 515 class. Then we went home had dinner, showered and went to bed.

Monday, was a pretty good day. A few key highlights was having a overall productive day at school. Even though I had a lot of work to do I enjoyed the day. I saw many of my friends and as usual we all ate lunch together. After school I went to Tae Kwon Do to do some leadership. While my father and I were there, we did our pre-test self-defense since we would be out of town this weekend. We both passed all our colored belt self-defenses. Then I came home and hung out with my girlfriend. Then I wound down for the night. Had some trouble getting to sleep but I got there in the end.
School was cancelled today because of the severe weather so I took today to catch up on school work. This workout perfect because I had a lot of homework last night and not a lot of time to finish it. When I woke up this morning I tried to keep my normal morning routine going. Afterwards, I sat down and got to work on my school work. I got most of it done, still have a little to finish. Then I ate lunch and went over to my girlfriend's house. We hung out and got dinner. Then I came home and finished up requirements with my dad. It is always more enjoyable having someone training with you especially when you have to train everyday for 11 weeks. Hello! Today I had a day off of school and I tried out my resistance bands to help and build muscles for my exercises. Then I went to the 5:15 class to assist and help out instructors. After that class I went and did 2 minutes of plank. Next I then went to the 6:00 class and participated and I also did leadership credit. That basically sums up my day so have a good night!
1/8/24: I went to school today and surprisingly, enjoyed my english class which is quite unusual. I was the first to complete my required chemistry assignment, but then i found out homework was added :( After getting home, I did my mile run, ate dinner, and went to Monday night class at King Tinger. I really enjoyed the sparring tonight, it was fun. I got home and finished up homework. I talked to my friend until he had to go and then started preparing for my day tomorrow.
Sunday 1/7/24 I woke up around noon. My mom and I went to the grocery to get some things for our new "healthier diet plan". Hopefully this new diet will help me improve my health for the Black Belt cycle. I came home and met all my requirements, but today my run was slower. Most likely due to how sore all my muscles are after the pretest and classes yesterday. I am hopefully going to be able to get in some leisure time before returning to school tomorrow. Mondays are never that exciting, but I have a good feeling about tomorrow.

I was very stressed out this moring repeatedly practicing my forms but still feeling shaky and like I would not perform at my best. I go thru Pre-testing and I did not do as well as I had hoped. The physical portion,however, went about as expected. I then went back to KT Harrisburg and did classes and leadership. I finally got home and still had to complete my "run" for the day. My time was actually one of best ever for a mile run. I ended the night out with some TV, a good dinner, and downtime.
Today we had no school! My day started like any other, staying in bed for an hour after I woke up and watched TV and played some video games. A few hours later my mom said it was time to do some school work. But it was not that hard since the school websites were down. So I started doing exercise and the other cycle requirements a few hours later but while I was doing that, i got a tornado warning. My mom said it was fine but if I hear strong winds to let her no and she will tell me what to do. But even more later the power went out for hours so when I finished I just sat down in silence. The power came on later and I moved on with my day.
Today was a crazy Tuesday. We are out of school because of the weather. I am going to use this extra time for some of my requirements. I have completed 2 essays so far but need to work on my physical list. Still sore and getting use to working out so much again. I have caught up on all my stuff today and it feels releaving to not be behind a few days.
A Pre-Test is a test to evaluate the preparedness of students for further study. As I was "re-mastering" the first seven Poomsae's, I wondered what kept getting in the way of my daily practice? What was I doing all of this time? Why didn't I wait until the next cycle to get it all together? I convinced myself that this was the perfect time because this is a pretest, and I won't remember what I don't remember. I knew what to expect, but I didn't know what to expect. If I don't do it now, I'll never be ready. I'd probably still have something else to get me off schedule. Since I was given grace, in the form of a pre-test or a dress rehearsal, I now have several opportunities to prepare myself for the big day when it comes. Good morning King Tiger. It is Tuesday. The weather is not looking good today and schools are closed. However, going to take advantage of that today. I have a doctors appointment this morning and then onto some requirements later today. I am starting to re-train all the muscles and muscle movements, but I also need to unlearn some things and fix some stuff. Make it better and stronger. Got work ahead, but making progress. I’d say that this particular Monday was a successful one. I am learning more and more about the cycle and how I can overcome its obstacles. I had my first mentee session today, and I wasn’t nervous at all. I knew what I wanted to do going in and I learned more about my mentee than I used to. However the stress comes in with my skill. I just can’t seem to come up with a skill that would be exciting for me to learn. By far it is the most difficult obstacle I have right now, and I need a skill soon. Luckily I have almost all day tomorrow (thanks to school being cancelled but because I go to a Charter school we have online class) I can think whilst doing cycle requirements. It was time to go back to school... I tried my best not to sleep too long. When I got up me and my mom went outside and ran a mile. When we got back we felt our ears explode due to the change in temp. I knocked out some of my exercises and got ready for school. When I was at school I found tomorrow was going to be the best day ever because school is out. I went to Taekwondo class and helped in Junior Tigers. I then had my first mentor session with my mentor Instructor Conner. It went pretty good. I came home and finished my self defense. Today was a long day and I can't wait to wind down.
