Today practice got canceled, though I’m not entirely sure why. I had a great time at the sparring seminar tonight, and hopefully what I learned will stick and the quality of my sparring will improve and after that continue to improve.

Today was a long day. I worked on math, spelling, grammar. Some was difficult and some was easy. I enjoy math a lot. Some problems were hard to understand. I'll be going to the sparring seminar in a little while. I'm getting late doing my requirements but I'm getting them done now. This seminar should be fun. Hope to see you there.
It was a good day yesterday. In school we had a science MAP test, and I passed. During BBC, Master Jean visited and we had a great class. We did lots of kicks and combinations. Master Jean is a great teacher.

Today was a really fun day. Today master Jean came to our school to visit and he today he taught all of the classes except junior tigers but it was really fun seeing what a Olympic person would do. He taught black belt class and was it sweaty and fun.He will be here for the rest of this week and will be teaching all of the Saturday class.
Its been a rough week I've been through so much. My classes started but they are so hard, all these classes leave a ton of assignments that are basically due by the next day. I believe its because they are AP courses shucks!
toaday I went to the science Olympiad info session and it was very exiting. I go to see all I needed for my science Olympiad!
Today I do not feel motivated. About anything. What I really want to do is get in my pajamas, get under my covers, and do nothing. But I will make the right choice and take myself to class tonight. If I don’t work out in the mornings, requirements suffer because I just run out of time. By the time I get home from work it is after 6:00 pm. Then I have to leave my house by at least 6:40 pm in order to make it to class by 7:30 pm. After class ends, I will get back in my car and drive another 45 minutes home. When I have my mentor sessions I don’t get home until 10:00 pm. I take 485 Northbound all the way from Matthews to the Mallard Creek exit. today I worked with a group in my music appreciation class and somehow the topic of were our ancestors come from and Their ancestry apparently is German and Irish I of coarse shared that Im Scottish and so for our presentation we called our selves the Irish the Scott and the German other than that the day was typical.
Already the 5th of September....work is all consuming right now as project and deliverables are stacked up...having to catch-up work early in the morning and evenings...leaves little time for training and requirements...beginning to wonder if I will have the time over the next month...not a good day for sure. going to class tonight, picture day and hopefully work with Master Weeks. Feeling slightly overwhelmed and stressed right now. Need to adjust attitude for sure.
This is the second journal entry that I have had to do over since I got kicked off after publish was clicked,but before the entry posted. Where does it go if it doesn't post? I finally got to my after work yoga class. I have been unable to make it for the past three weeks. After class I had a few things to work on before home. When I arrived at home, I was pleasantly surprised to see my son there. This is the third year in a row that he has been home due to a hurricane.Tomorrows are slipping by.
As this week is quite assessment-heavy, all I can do is take them on one at a time; today it was a human anatomy test, which I’m glad I overestimated how difficult it’d be. Now I just need to plan out various papers and finish my current art project hopefully by Friday and take the other 3 assessments on Friday.
This has been a very busy week at work, but the weekend is almost here! I’m home working on requirements now-focusing on pushups and burpees. I’m working on the high belt curriculum that we don’t often have time to do in class with Master Cavazos in my mentor sessions and it has been a great review! Now I need to keep practicing.
Hapkido form five looks foreign to me each of the three or four times Master Cavazos has shown it to me. I guess I need to practice that more often so I can remember it. It is not an easy thing to practice the hapkido forms by yourself. I think I will forever be catching up on pushups, but not tonight.
Today was a great day. Went to school, completed my work then cane home and finished all my homework. Decided to take a nap before I went to work and omg was it amazing (yes it was). Work was great and so was class.
Today I was very tired, and that combined with the sunburn I had on my shoulders from going swimming yesterday, it wasn't the best of days. I had to skip Tae Kwon Do today because I had to catch up on sleep hours. I kind of wish I had the energy to go to sparring class today. I also missed out on filming my YouTube video today (Adventures of Yoshi is the name of the channel, be sure to subscribe!), which was another bummer. I hope I can get enough sleep in the future, even though this transition to a new schedule makes it difficult.
Tonight was a good sparring class. Master Marcus broke down some movements for us, which was helpful. Then I assisted in family class.
For the weekend my family from California came! I didn't get all my requirements in but I still got some of them. I am excited for the end of the cycle and hope to write again soon!
Today, I was still sick and I couldn't go to school. I will lay off on requirements. On the bright side, I can finish my essays.

Today was another chill day. Went to the lake all day so I did most of my requirements there. It was nice working whole seeing a nice view of the beautiful water. What a great way to start this wonderful week off.
Not exactly the weekend I'd expected, but not complaining. Enjoyed kayaking with my husband and visiting with my nephew at the whitewater center on Saturday, had a great workout with Master Tucker at the park on Sunday, and a visit with my in-laws and Jeremy, his girlfriend and her dog today. Had planned to do more, but not meant to be. Tomorrow, tomorrow.
Signed up for the Sparring Seminar this Friday. I really grown to love sparring and I love that were going to get additional training. Cleaned up and prepared for the week. Have to go to sleep early so I can get up at 4am tomorrow.
Gladly, I'm feeling much better than I was yesterday, which is good because I was concerned that it would affect my performance in the meet tomorrow. I was also able to get a lot of schoolwork done over the past couple days, which will be useful as this is going to be an assessment heavy week.
Very productive day today- cleaned my house and worked in pushups, sit-ups and burpees. Back to the grind tomorrow.
Almost done with all my essays! Going to start memorizing written test! May time my run soon. Sadly I am sick today and I hope I’m not tomorrow so I can go to school.
Today, we had to come back from the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was very fun while it lasted. We got to go on a lot of cool hikes, some of them were mostly flat and one was all uphill. The views were gorgeous. You could see the towns and valleys forever. On the first we hike we saw a very beautiful waterfall. We stayed in our motor home and at the campsite, I caught a lot of fish. We are now back and getting ready for school the next day and I'm not happy about it.
My body is starting to feel the effects of the BBC. My right hip flexor, left knee, and and right ankle are often feeling dicomfort. I'm trying to listen to my body and when I do something that aggravates them I'm just trying to forge forward.
Today I played Chinese Checkers with my mom. It was very fun! It was very hard but after a while I started winning!
Happy Labor Day!!! have the day off so focusing on requirements and training at the house. Did not sleep very well so will take a short nap later today. Today I am focusing on Poomsae's...1-8 primarily...need to make sure I have them nailed so I can move on to the TaeKwon poomsae's with Master Weeks this week.
I am feeling a lot better today like oh my gosh. When Monday hits it back to the grind. Kind of took like three to four days just to rest up so now I am ready. We are in September now so that means two months away from my birthday.
Really nice service at church today. After I finish some assignment, I played sims all day. It was nice.
Today I had to sort of take it easy (I say sort of because I tend to not do so when I need to) because I wasn’t feeling well. Last night because the linens were getting washed I pulled out my sleeping bag, which hasn’t been cleaned in a good while, and slept on the floor; when I woke up it felt as if there was perpetually water in my ears which both muffled and amplified any and all sound. This forced me and my dad to leave church a bit early, but when I got home I took some Benadryl, did the requirements I could, and worked on some schoolwork.
Today, I did nothing besides my requirements and worked on my Community Service essay. This week I will finish all my essays.
Yesterday I finished my requirements. I also did some community service at the library. Me and some other people learned how to shelve books, and we tore paper out of magazines for an activity on this Tuesday.

Today was an awesome day since me and my dad played some Pokémon go and I went to go check out the other taekwondo school and I found out that the grandmaster was a NINTH DEGREE BLACK BELT it was cool to see how he ran his dojang too!
In New York City for work most of the week...made it to Black Belt Class Thursday evening, great class, thank you Master Cavasos & Master Weeks...worked on Poomsae's and neck choke self defense...old Hapkido techniques.In NYC, walked everywhere so got at least 8 of not 9 miles of walking in over the 3 days. This weekend is "double-down" weekend on requirements...double everything. Up early today and knocked out this mornings numbers.
Today has been a good break day. After school, I ate a snack and finished my new skill essay. I did some push and sit-ups. During school, I had a Spanish and US history test. We have our Chromebooks now and things are improving in my school.
Today I missed cross country practice because I accidentally left my clothes for practice at home. I made up the time by staying after school for a while in the art studio and got some work done.
Hey blog, have not posted in a while for reasons but one of the main reasons is because I have been sick. It started on Wednesday and carried over into today which is Friday but I’m feeling way better than I did yesterday. Yesterday which was the 29th I had multiple fevers, felt lightheaded, had multiple headaches, felt cold when it was hot outside then got hot after that. Just a whole bunch of up and downs but next I should be back in business and hitting the ground running.
Me and my friend were chatting the other night and she had to write a essay about the life events that shaped her life. And she felt kind bad that 3/4 life events were negative. We kept talking, and I told her that we change and grow from experiences. When we get comfortable for too long, it can led us to stagnated growth. So life is going to throw us things and make us uncomfortable, but a positive spin of it is is you're going to growth and change. I'm not happy that I was diagnosed with Grave's disease, but I appreciate the person I change to because I dealt with Graves. I think I could have been this motivated, independent, hard-working person years ago, but I think because I was so use to being comfortable and not pushing myself more, I wasn't........This journal is very jumbled and a bit confusing,...
Today is Friday and I'm at home doing my school work. Hope Academy is a Christian school that has a university model that does 3 days at the school and two days at home. It is a great school and I really like it. We did two hours of math today which was a bit hard because we had to do a lot of work with big numbers of population differences of different countries. My requirements are going ok. Still have a lot of work to do and a lot of improvement. My dad is helping a little bit. I am very excited about the seminars coming up. Can't do some sticks!!
yesterday I got to Atlanta and we went to a lot of places it is very fun i won’t be doing as much requirements though????
One more day of work before a long weekend. The intent is to get caught up on some things. I hoped pushups would have been less of a struggle by now, but not the case. Plenty of catching up to do on pushups.
This is my Monday at work, And what a Monday, Went to Jack the nose of an airplane, Went through 3 jacks that did not work, On the last Jack the did not work we had to jacket it by hand. The air pump on a Jack was broken ,myself and another mechanic had a good workout jacking it by hand.????️♂️????️♂️????️♂️
Went to sparring class today. I am trying to balance school and the cycle. I want to do 108 push and sit-ups per day. I wrote a paragraph of my New Skill Essay. I will be doing community service this week or next week.
Went to 9Rounds today and did worked out, did all my pushups and situps in 30 mins. Had a mentor session with Master Natasya, worked on kicks. Now Im just working on some homework with a friend.
Hello everybody. We have currently gotten into the full swing of school and I've made lots of new friends. Taekwondo is challenging but fun as always. Hope you all have a great week.
Things are finally starting to settle into routine of going to school and then practice and then class, but this morning the routine was broken by a doctor visit. It was just a visit that I have to go to every 3-4 months to keep an eye on my breathing issues; in some aspects it was better, but in others it was worse. There are too many variables to accurately determine what is worsening some things, and in order to prevent other aspects from worsening as well, my dose for my daily inhaler was brought back up.
Worked on a biology assignments where I had to classified 50 different organism, which was really nice. Taught class today at King Tiger, was super nervous/excited about it. The class was bigger than what I'm use too.
My work days are long. I go to bed early because I wake up early and there just doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day. I did well with requirements today but I didn’t have much time for anything else after I got home from work. Pushups are challenging, but I feel myself getting stronger.

Today was great, I woke up at 5;30 as usual and went to school at 6. Then I went to math, French and band which were all not boring then had lunch and went to science . After that I went home at 2:15 and found out that my favorite game terraria had been updated I know that sounds nerdish but I assure you it is noteworthy I haven been waiting for that for five years. I also studied French on the bus and when I got home I did the rest of my homework and went to tae kwon do. All in all a wonderful day.
Today I decided to pick the kids up earlier at carpool so they would have more time to chill out at home this afternoon. This being said I would knew I would have time to practice my self-defense while I waited. I am learning to embrace discomfort. I need to not be so hard on myself when I make a mistake and just roll with it. I need to be compassionate with myself and my mistakes in order for me to get better. I need to take a deep breathe and not panic. I need to learn to enjoy myself when I’m doing TKD.
Today, I did some pushups before I left the house for work. It sure makes a difference on my shoulders and wrists having less to do after class. Worked with Master Tucker on self-defense color belt all the way up to 2nd Dan one steps before class and with Master Cavazos and Master Tucker after class on 3rd Dan one steps and belt self-defense. We also did quite a few kicks in class.
Today was the second day of school and it was great. I got my schedule fixed so now I can graduate early and go to community college for free. This year is going to be challenging but not as challenging as my other years of Highschool.
Today I had my first cross country meet of the season, and it went pretty decently. It was on a course we’ve never run before, and the humidity made it difficult to breath. Almost directly after I went to black belt class; I was struggling in class because I couldn’t shake the lightheadedness.
I’m way behind on my requirements. It’s going to be difficult to catch up, but I’m going to have to do it.
Today I got to school and I saw all of my friends which I am still happy about and I got to see my orchestra teacher which is nice my social studies teacher which is nice and my science teacher which is also very nice. When I was heading home I realized the backpack I wanted was here which was good and todays sparing is also good because I went up against Nate and I did not get hurt as much as I usually would.
Got up this morning and saw it was going to rain. O will Start knocking out some requirements, Do some laundry and do some shopping. Then on rain . Ok do the Yard work. A good day.
Today my school got lockers and chrome books. The hallways are getting very crowded. The chromebooks are good however. I went to the Huntersville school for sparring class today. Their facility is very nice. I love the mirrors near the class to see what you're doing. Master Chelley and Conrad Harte did a great job. Sparring class was kind of tough. Lots of kicks.
Hi everyone. I have had a more calm week this past week. I have worked hard on my cycle and have found free time after homework sometimes. I am not looking forward to all the homework I have to come this up coming year but I am looking forward to all my adventures to come.

Had a really early flight home this morning and then a full day at work. Trying to at least get my tracking caught up. I have less catching up to do as a result of this trip than most previous trips this year. It looks like I have been working on self-defense disproportionately to poomsaes, but at least now I can remember most of the newer I ones. I still have plenty more to work on. Tomorrow will come soon enough.

Today was a great last first day of high school I will ever have. Im going to be honest I really liked all my classes: not to mention this is by far this was the best first day of school I have had. When I got home I ate Alfredo that I cooked up and then headed to go work out. I had a pretty good workout it was fun and long, after that I headed to work. I was helping out in class I had a pretty fun time teaching students how to do hop step kicks. Well know I have to study a little bit then hit the hay. Duces.

Long and busy day. It was first day of after school at King Tiger. Classes were huge, I just played games and kicks with a little review. A lot of kids were new, or were gone over the summer. Also, it nice to have a fun game-like class every once in awhile.
Today was the first day of school with the scholars attending. It was a hectic morning, but we all made it through okay. I then was able to work in a workout, which I definately needed. Then I picked up my little man and had dinner with my family before heading back out for TKD class tonight.
Did not do any requirements today. But i cleaned and decluttered my room. I sold/donated most of my clothes today and I cleaned under my bed. I also meal prep today. My mom gone the whole week, usually I make breakfast and lunch, but she handles dinner since I always come home late. Made homemade pizza! Finish up some homework. I don't like how one of my assignments is coming out, so ill tackle it tomorrow with a more cleared head.
Today was overall pretty relaxed. After I got home from church I went on my run, did my other requirements, and then started going through old clothes to donate them. This took a couple hours but it’s something I’ve been meaning to do for quite a while now. Also, I was able to finish my oil painting.

Yesterday I went to sparring and BBC. During sparring, we did some sparring rounds and lots of kicks. During BBC we did kicks, nun-chucks, and stick techniques (which I'm not sure what the name is). During the hour between sparring and BBC, I went on a mile run with some other Bo Cho Dans and others. Thank you, Mrs. Badia, for motivating me to run!
I woke up at 6 am to start getting ready for the new school year. Then went to sparring and it was really fun. After sparring went a run in the rain and it was kind of chilly but it felt really nice. After that had black belt class and it was very fun and exhilarating.
Today was an emotional day. Saw a lot of family and friends that I don't see often, or haven't seen for years. It was also a little disappointing since some we were expecting, were unable to make it. I have had a few different people volunteering to help me with self defense, so have been able to practice that some with a person, rather than just in the air. Had the opportunity to get a rowing lesson from my rowing coach cousin on the Schuylkill River in front of Boathouse Row in Philadelphia. This cousin is like my sister, so it was great to spend some quality time with her and learn a bit about one of her passions for the first time.
today was interesting. I started by spending the morning at tae kwon do. After that I was brought to lunch by Mathew and his Father (it was delicious) the place we went to was called the tin tin something and is located across the street from Grand Master Evans. after lunch I was brought home and went to my friends house for the afternoon. I returned back to my house at around five and had dinner at around seven with my family.
What a big difference from yesterday weather, One day I'm sweating the next day I'm looking for a sweatshirt to put on. Felt good about doing my requirements today.
Today I have been working on Coding a lot for my new skill I am making a game by JavaScript and HTML. it has been very tiring. Today was a day of learning for me. My takeaways from today's classes were: to videotape myself to see my progress and areas of neednever question a senior belt...duhnever ask about credits during cycleeven when I think I'm extending my, I'm not enoughchill out (which I already new, but is a big work in progress) This black belt journey is tougher then I thought in certain ways. Prior to this experiences I knew that: I didn't like making mistakes; I'm too hard on myself; and I psych myself out and get 'into my head' too often and too fast. Even though I knew theses things about myself they are blaring loudly now and can't be avoided. I'm on this journey to face them head on and hopefully conquer them. I'm not even close to being there 'yet', but I have plans in place to help myself along the way. I need...
Today didn't exactly go as planned. I had to stay home from school today because I wasn't feeling well, which also meant that I had to miss cross country practice and multiple classes that you usually can't afford to miss because of the workload. Despite that, I got what work and requirements I could done, and got some painting done.
Last day of summer camp, kids were crazy, but I just rolled with it. We played tons of games, ate pizza and ice cream, and had our last award ceremony. Kids award me the "nicest counselor" award. I going to miss some of the summer campers only, but I'm excited to start the school year. I didn't get a a lot of requirements done this week, but that okay. This is was the first week of school and I have a pretty good idea of how to build my schedule. I love building and managing my time. Finishing my night call my dad, who off in another state, to talk about careers, school, and just tell him I miss him. I don't think he'll be back til October. He travels alot more now for his job, which is amazing and so cool, but I miss him. I remember when he came...
Today was an amazing day. It was the first full week of school. I felt a weight lift of of my shoulders literally and physically. I feel like I have learned most of the things that I had forgotten over the summer. But today will be very fun because I an going to a party at a friends place.
Lots of fitness and poomsaes today. Lots of TKD and tonight will be a family movie night.
DAY OF REST. Had a Very wet day at work today. Water was coming out of the hole body. From head to toe. Got home cooked dinner for Chris and I, then sat down and a Hour later Still have my dinner in my hand.????????????????????☺️
Had to travel to Ohio for work on Wednesday...quick day trip - about 30 hours total...managed to get some requirements in but not a full day's worth. Getting harder to travel for work and stay on top of requirements...starting to feel the stress.
It's Friday...heading into the weekend with goals of tons of requirements. Been traveling for work again this week and starting to feel very behind. Last night Black Belt Class was great, thank you Master Cavasos for double stick review...and thank you Master Connor for being my partner. Also, good kicking line...good job everyone.
Thursday sucked! I mean it was probably the worst day I've personally had in about seven months. basically how it went down was I woke up went to open house for the morning were my wonderful mother decided to pressure me into ALL the clubs. then in the afternoon Mom, Will and I went to Wills open house which went ok but Mom got into a drawn out conversation with another Mom and we ended up getting to tae kwon do five minuets late which wouldn't have been that bad if the pants I packed didn't happen to belong to my nine year old brother. I literally couldn't bring my knee up to my chest, that's how small the pants were so Will and I had to get picked up by mom before we could even take sparring class. But Thats not all because then we went to the grocery store...
As I suspect future days will be, today was quite the full day with school, then cross country practice, then leaving for class half an hour after getting home, and then homework once I got home from class, but today was good. I found it funny that in practice we did a 30min run at an easy pace in 95 degree heat and then as soon as practice is over it starts to rain and cool everything off.
Today was open house. I went to all my classes and met all my teachers, and I like them a lot. Since I’m a senior I have some le-way and also other perks but I’m ready for the school year. I saw a lot of my old teachers and it was nice seeing them.
I've been helping teach more classes. I've been working at King Tiger for so long now and I really want to help out more, plus I need to step out of my comfort zone every once and while. Me and and another instructor go back and forth teaching on class. It been nice, I was really worried, but I've been managing. Today I made the class work on basic blacks and stances, as well as teach them study guide questions. Then at the end of class, we played a study guide game. Worked with Master Natasya on kicks, hopefully when I;m less sore and tired I can work on them more. Then I took sparring, we did some awesome stretches, I felt great.
This may be Thursday for most but it's my Monday at work. Didn't get as many miles as I wanted to, But still got some in. When I got home today started on my requirements The body was a little slow on doing things but got through it.????♂️????️♂️

I also have such amazing friends, Chelley and Jennifer, who help me and love my kiddos when I can’t physically be there for them.
