Today was kinda fun. After I woke up and ate breakfast I watched a show and did some requirements after. After that I went to a friends house and spent a few hours there. After I got home I spent some time with my sister and ate dinner. I’m now about to sleep . Bye.
Today i didnt do much i just went to costco in the morning with my dad then in the afternoon and night i was just studying taekwondo.
It is crazy that it's already Sunday night, the weekends always fly by so fast. This weekend, I was doing the digital detox challenge, that was a pretty cool challenge. When the morning started, I did a lot of yard work, mulching, planting, and mowing. The heat really kicked in this weekend, it feels strange for the outside to be 80 degrees in march. Later in the day, I did some requirements, some extra so I could be done sooner in the week. It is going to feel so weird when there are no requirements left to do, almost like something is missing. That's what it felt like when my nutrition challenge ended. Anyway, I spent my evening studying and doing schoolwork, hopefully all goes well tomorrow.
Today I did a lot. I woke up feeling a little sick and I was questioning if I could La my football game. I felt good enough to play and I went to eat with my friend. After we ate we went to my house and played basketball, football, rode on my dirtbike and my drift cart, played video games. When his mom came to pick him up, we threw the ball more. After he left I did my requirements, I prepared for bed and got my school bag and clothes laid out. I took a shower, did my hair, brush my teeth, got in the bed. That was my day.
Today was good! I couldn’t really sleep in because I kept waking up. In the morning I practiced a lot and did the requirements. Then we had some breakfast, and relaxed for a bit. We then did some work and organizing clothes. After we got boba! Which was very, very good. Then me and my sisters played outside, a lot. The weather was pretty nice, but I got very hot after a while. Then we had a yummy dinner outside. Now we are relaxing and getting ready for tomorrow. Keep working hard everyone, we’re so close! :)
Today was a nice day. I woke up, got ready, practiced a bit, and finished my requirements. After that, my parents and I washed and vacuumed the car, which took a little while. We spent most of the morning and early afternoon cleaning the house, and once everything was done, I had lunch. Later, I went outside for a walk to get some fresh air before coming back home to get everything ready for tomorrow’s Math 1 benchmark. I got guys painting my house. It is necessary but I really like having workers in my house. It makes it really hard to do anything of substance.
Today was a good day. I was with my friend today since we spent night. I went to church with him and we had breakfast there. We then went home and played some games. After we went back out and had soup and game night with the youth group. I then read my book.
What a beautiful Sunday!! Poomsae class was amazing and I received some good advice for the upcoming testing. Thank you to all the fellow black belts who have helped me throughout this cycle.
I'm officially done with falls and rolls, running, and sit-ups. I'll also be done with jump-rope tomorrow and everything else should be finished up by Tuesday or Wednesday! The end is soo close and I'm so excited! I'm testing for my 4th so I will still have to do another black belt cycle in the summer this year but it will feel so good to have this one over with. This is the first time I have done a spring/winter cycle before and I definitely like the temperatures better because the alternative is 80-90 degrees, humid weather in July BUT....I definitely like not having school for part of the summer/fall cycle so I'm not sure which one I like better. On Sundays, I normally don't have much going on. Yesterday, I came back late from a friend's house because my parents came late to pick my brother and me up from their house. My parents went to a concert for a indian singer yesterday, and I didn't go because his songs weren't really my type of music. Today, I woke up pretty late and helped around the house with some things. I then ate lunch, took a shower, and went to play outside for a bit, but not for too long because I don't want to be tired for my game tomorrow. I then came back, finished my requirements, and took my picture with my plant and posted it on Facebook. It's nice to have a little relaxation day today, but I will be busy again this week.
Today Grandmaster Lee taught two classes for our senior tigers and adult. The senior tigers class was packed and we had a ton of student. For the adults we had about twenty so it was a good showing as well. Both classes went great and I loved seeing the students enjoy the sessions. Afterward we had a black belt training session with him and went over the black belt poomsaes. I've done some of them and still working on memorizing them. Then we had lunch together before heading out.
Today was a nice day. I woke up and got ready for Black Belt class, and before it started I practiced a bit of sticks and sinawalis. During class, we worked on a few kicks, and then my partner and I went through all the self‑defenses from Bo‑Cho down. We finished a little quickly, so we went over everything again just to be sure. After class, I came back home, ate lunch, and went on a short walk before doing my requirements. Then I took a nap, woke up, and got ready to go grocery shopping. Today was a good day. I have a sinus infection and taking antibiotics. I rested a lot today.
I had a pretty good day. My body woke me up at 5:50 AM as expected. I got as many requirements in as I could before class. Class was also pretty good. At the end of class we got a brick breaking lesson. When it was my turn, I broke the practice boards; I'm going to be honest, my wrist is sore from that. When I came home, I got ready to go look at cars. Since I got my drivers license recently, me and my family have been looking for a good first car. We went to a couple of dealerships to check out what they had. One of the dealerships we went to was hosting a car show which was pretty cool to walk around and see all the exotic cars. After that, I came home and finished the rest of my requirements for the day. Overall, pretty good day.
Today was. great! At Saturday's Black Belt class, we did weapons and breaking, and I did pretty well on those. When I got home, I did some extra staff sticks and some self-defense, and I also worked on my Hwa Rang poomsae because I needed to work on it. So excited for the test on Friday.
Today was a Workout day. Got through all of my requirements did a little bit of extra, hoping to have all exercising done by Monday of this week coming up. I am so grateful for all Senior black belts who have helped me throughout my journey and it’s been great getting to know them on a deeper level.
I woke up early this morning to go to the North Charlotte location to get a weekend black belt class and complete that for my cycle. I had a lot of fun and got to meet new people while practicing all of my self-defense techniques twice. I then got hungry and went to McDonald's, but then went to the Harrisburg Location Taekwondo, where, to my surprise, GrandMaster Lee was there. I learned a lot of new things and was very informed, and I had so much fun. Then, I got a mentee session and left to go home, but then I saw basically all the black belts in the Charlotte location come to the Harrisburg Location and have a class with GrandMaster Lee, which was really cool. Today I got my braces tighten and mouth is very sore. I went to Grand Master Lee Black Belt class and we worked on kicks, poomsaes and self defense. I was nervous at first because it was my first time but it was a pleasure meeting Grand Master Lee and I had a good time in his class. Today was also my father's birthday so we went out to eat after class and celebrated with some cake afterwards.
We had 2 test 1 in math the other in Science and we went outside. Then I went to black belt class with grandmaster Lee teaching it.
This evening we had training with Grandmaster Lee. Its always great to learn from him in the few times that I get to. We all had a lot of fun and I enjoyed the session. Tomorrow he's teaching our senior tigers and adults so they'll also get a chance to learn from him as well.
My day was really good i got to skip school today becuase it is Eid so i went to the mosque in the morning then ate out with the family then i went to top golf with my friends then i had the opportunity to see grandmaster Lee in harrisburg his class was really fun and i learned a bunch of stuff from it.
Today was a really nice day. Since it was a teacher workday, I didn’t have school, so I used the morning to finish my missing work and get everything caught up. The rest of the day was calm and steady. I practiced all my material; poomsae, self‑defenses, kicks, and weapons — and it felt good to train without rushing. Later in the afternoon, I helped make dinner, and after we ate, my family and I went on a one‑hour walk. The weather was nice, and it felt peaceful to unwind together. Happy Eid! And Bangtan had their comeback album Arirang today, which honestly made my whole day. The timing couldn’t have been better, especially with the main Black Belt Test coming up. Today was pretty cool. I was tired all school day though but since the cycle is almost over most of my requirements are done, so I had more free time after school. Then I went to Grandmaster Lee’s black belt class. It was really cool to be able to learn from him. I hope to do it again. Anyway that was it.
I am glad today is Friday. School was average, nothing crazy happening. However, I have not escaped school completely for the weekend, I have some tests on Monday. After school, I tried to squeeze in some requirements before class. Class was good; got some good self defense work in. After class, I finished up the requirements I did not get around to. For some reason, every day this week, I have been waking up about 5-10 minutes before my alarm. I'm curious to see if I wake up at the same time tomorrow knowing that I don't have school the next day. Looking forward to class tomorrow.

Today I had the day off of school so I went to get lunch with my family and then we went down to Lowe’s to get my plant! Me and my sister got a screening cypress. Afterwards I wen to hit a little haircut, just a trim. Also, ONE WEEK left of cycle… I cannot believe that at this time in one week we will all be at testing. It has been a long three months but really wonderful too.
Today was not that good of a day, but it got better at the end. I went to school and then went to to black belt class. I messed up a lot on the hopkido forms, which I need to work on a lot. Then at the end of the day, I played soccer with my friends and did good. That lightened up my spirits a little. I really need to work on hopkido forms though. I messed up a lot on it. I’ve also been consistently tired the whole month so far, which is really troubling me. I’m randomly really tired throughout the whole day and it has been like this since the start of the month. Hope it gets better before testing, and I hope I know the hopkido forms by then.
I had fun today at school. We learned about new things, as usual, and reviewed other stuff, which was fine. I liked the videos we were watching in Health, and I liked what we did in Spanish. After school, I walked to baseball practice, where I did some Infield Work and hit. Monday will be my first game, so I am excited about it, and I think I will be pitching too. I couldn't make it to the Black Belt Weekend class, which was a little sad. Now I have to go to another dojang to make it up, but that should be fun. I've been just relaxing for a bit because I just came back from Baseball, but then I went to go do my physical requirements. Almost a week more, and we have testing!!
It was an absolutely beautiful day at the park today. Good for the soul. The CMS kiddos had the day off and after lunch we headed to the park for several hours. Nice reset after what feels like the week that won't end. The end is near! One last week!
I can't believe in 1 week I will be testing for my first don, this has been a crazy great journey but also so fulfilling. In celebration of the last week, I took the day off work and decided to have fun with Cenzo because who doesn't need a little fun in life :)
Today was ok but the best part about it is that its the last day of Rammadan and tonight and tomorrow marks Eid a very important holiday.
I had work in the afternoon and evening today. On Thursdays I always go to Sabor to eat after I'm done with my afternoon and pick it up on the way home. From then I had a couple hours before heading out for the ninja gym. We had regular classes tonight so nothing different about my schedule.
I woke up super early to prepare for my math test today. After school I went to sparring class and had a nice time, after me and my parents went to Chipotle. Then I studied for regionals this weekend.
It was a ok day we did benchmarks for 3 hours and we played games the Whole time after

Today was decent. I went to school as usual and then did three taekwondo classes, I also squished in a mentor and mentor session today, so that’s good. Today was pretty good. School was just fine. My chemistry class was pretty cool today, we did some labs that explored the gas laws. After school, we had the first drumline practice in 2026. It was a lot of fun getting back together and shaking off the rust. It really stinks that my school has completely dissolved the band program. I really have enjoyed that class for the past 4 years but this year and the years coming, the school has decided to discontinue the band program. Luckily they are still keeping drumline which is a student led club, led by me. After school, I jumped into the requirements like usual. Once I finished up, I played chess for a while. That raps up my day.
Today was a big day. I had my actual retest, and it went well. I felt prepared, and once I finished, I stayed for a bit to help out around the dojang. After that, I assisted with the Senior Tiger class and led kicks. We also worked on technical stand‑ups and a few other drills. Later, I spent some time helping one of my mentees review her material. Since she’s from another TKD school, we’ve been going over everything from the basics up to her rank. We practiced for a while after class until her mom arrived. Today was a good day. In Food and Nutrition 1 I made the dough for the pretzel bites which we will make tomorrow. After school I went home and finished all my physical requirements. I then went to DQ and got a free cone then went to Taekwondo to assist the 6:15 class.
Today is Thursday I went to school, I did a math quiz I felt really good about it too, Then I finished the school day, Studied for Taekwondo went to the Thursday class retook my test and helped out with class.
A great day...although school was a little rough. I am in band and we are going to MPA next Wednesday which is like an event where judges score us 1-5. 1 is the best and 5 is the worst and we had combined band practice today which sounded absolutely atrocious but at least we played all the way through. :/ Anyways, beautiful day outside for running so I got 3 miles in and I only have about 3 left for the cycle!!! I didn't have anything going on today. Just had work and helping out with classes in the evening. I got to teach the first junior tigers class and my brother got to teach the second one. After classes worked with Sid and Brayden on their weapons forms making sure they've got it. After that I was done for the day and head on home.

Had a good workout and ate some good sushi. That's a pretty good evening in my book.
Today is the start of quarter four, and I have art! I'm really good, and i'm the best inmy class, I think I can get at least a 95 in this class

Today was pretty good. School was pretty normal. When I got home, I got to the requirements. I ran my final 4 miles today, super exited about that; my legs have been struggling for these past couple of runs. Later in the evening I studied pretty hard for school. I learned something pretty interesting today. Since I will be needing to get a fruit tree, I was thinking of the possible trees that could survive in the conditions we have in North Carolina. I was going through the trees in my head and I stumbled across the banana tree. Technically a banana grows on a herbaceous plant, not a tree. Because of this, a banana is considered a berry under the fruit category . I guess that means no banana . . . plant?

As soon as I finished, I pulled out the Instructor’s Camp book Master Weeks gave me, along with the study guide I made and my notebook, and I studied. Today was a pretty decent day. I played pickleball in school today. After that I went to swimming and then did sparring. I also worked on my whole curriculum for taekwondo today at home. I was tired the whole day for some reason though.
As we are getting closer and closer to the end, it has been so relieving and satisfying to see the numbers of requirements left decrease. I will be done with a lot of stuff by this weekend and I am so happy about that!! As testing is approaching, you guys should be drilling poomsaes and self-defenses as much as you can, practicing them properly and correctly, not just running through them!! Focus on the ones you need more work with and ask someone to practice with you, if it helps keep you accountable. If anything is iffy or questionable right now you have about a week left to make sure its solid. Testing is going to be rough if you don't know your stuff, so focus on YOU and getting everything straight. Make sure you keep logging things in the website as well as in your book! Testing is coming up quick. It'll be strange not seeing people walking in the door with their books, asking if they can lead warm-ups, grab a mentor session or a jump rope minute. My day was good i had school and in PE my class did hocky and I cooked the other team i scorded 5 goals and had 2 assist out of 8. I didnt even know i was this good in hockey.
Today I finished my 100 miles!!! I was so excited and happy because I couldn't believe that I did that. In school today, I had a lot of fun and got back with my friends and teachers after not seeing them in person for like a week. I now have health instead of PE, which I am a little bummed about, but don't really care that much. I also saw this music group perform for our school this morning, which was cool because they were talking in many different languages. I then had baseball practice for the school, but that got cut short quickly because we had a parent meeting after. today was pretty productive. I went to school and slammed a pickle ball paddle into my nose. There was a big bump on it and it was bleeding a little but I was fine. Then I went to taekwondo and did my class assistance and menti and mentor sessions. Then I did my ELA homework. I was very sore today because yesterday I did my final physical test.
Today was alright, school was normal, nothing out of the ordinary. When I got home, I did my requirements. I plan to complete all of my miles by tomorrow. That will be great. It feels like my hips and shins have not been enjoying all this running; maybe I need to fix my form. Anyway, later in the evening, I did some homework. The rest of my evening was typical. Didn't do much because there was super bad weather so we got the day off school.
Had to get up early today for work and it was raining heavily on and off. Luckily it stopped during the afternoon so running was nice. In the evening I had to help with the ninja gym, usually I only work there Tuesdays and Thursdays but today I was needed to help with one of the classes before heading over to the dojang. Master Foster was working on pressure points and ways to strike them or use them. After that we head out to go home and have dinner.
Hope that everyone is all good after the weather today. On the way home tbis evening the wind had kicked up again. And the temp really dropped. I had to reroute as a tree had fallen across Ranson Rd, cars were driving through one home's front yard in the dark. I made a u-turn and by the the time I made it back up Ranson the streetlight had stopped working and was flashing. Busy evening, helped Sid with his physical test, he did very well! A mentor session for him, self-defenses with Peyton--lots of hapkido and some good classes this evening. It's colder tomorrow... don't forget your jacket! Have a happy Tuesday!
A rainy day. That means I'm going to have to work Saturday. I'm not that happy about that.
Today was kind of a restful day after a long weekend. I'm still sore from my physical exam this weekend. I completed my mile in 12:16 which is a 1:26 faster than my pretest. I also scored a 91 on my exam as well. We had remote learning today because of the weather. It worked out well for me because it gave me another day to recover. I did some math and read for about an hour. I help out in taekwondo class today and I met with my mentee today as well. Tomorrow, I will return to school after my spring break.
Today was a chill day because I didn’t have school. I worked ahead and got a lot of homework done. I cleaned my room and did my requirements and played the game with my friend.

Today was supposed to be a normal day until I checked the weather and saw 5 tornado watches at only six in the morning. It was windy outside and a branch from our tree almost fell on our fence!

Today I woke up feeling good because I thought that I was going to do my schoolwork and relax, but when I was doing my schoolwork a thunderstorm warning came up on my phone. I thought I was in danger because an accidently read tornado instead of thunderstorm. After telling myself I'm fine, my mom tells me that is an actually a tornado watch. I said, "No there is not", come to find out that there WAS one and the phone didn't go off. At that point, I was scared half to death. I never really been in a tornado before. While the warning was in effect, I was looking over the message to check that it was true. It was, but not for my area, but I still stayed in shelter just in case. Today was a pretty good day. School was canceled for me today and I just practiced my staff form 2 and bolo the whole entire day. I think I did three hours worth of taekwondo practice today, which is literally the whole week! I also did my final physical test and written test today and I was happy about my results. I beat all of my physical test scores except for V sit ups, which I tied with my last score. I also got a decent 95 percent on my written, which I could’ve improved on but I still passed. I also squished in class assistance, menti session, and mentor sessions. Productive day. Need to work on staff form 2 more though
Today school was pretty busy. I heard some schools were canceled due to the weather, this made traffic a lot lighter in the morning and the afternoon. When I got home from school, I started the requirements. I am seeing a lot of improvement which is always very rewarding. It is so crazy how in North Carolina, one day will be almost 80 degrees and then two days later, it will be close to 30 degrees. I am not looking forward to the heat, I like the cold. Anyway, for the rest of my evening, I just relaxed and played chess for a while.
Whoa, this cycle is blowing by really fast. Today, I had remote learning for school, and I finished all my work early, which I was happy about. Today, I also had my physical and written test, which I surprised myself on. On my physical test, I improved in everything and doubled on some workouts. On my written test, I did really well and passed, too. My mom then went grocery shopping while I waited in the car, and then we arrived home. I didn't do much at home except for my requirements, but then my brother and dad just left for the Y. I didn't want to go because I felt really sore and tired, but I will try to go tomorrow if I have time. I am going to chill for the rest of the evening and get ready for school tomorrow, so I will see you guys tomorrow.
Good morning, I had an awesome weekend doing the community service with you all. I was a great reminder to always help others. Hope everyone starts there week out great.
Happy Monday all!! Here is to a great week of training and getting the final parts our cycle done. My cup is still very full from our community service event. I love when things we do affect us in a positive way for days; it makes going to work and dealing with hard issues a little easier. Here's to a successful week 11 in training.
Excellent Sunday. I woke up from a solid night of sleep, nice change of pace. Poomsae class was a good one, continuing work on knife hands and back stances. And then stations...my legs are already feeling those. Lots of good work. On to the gym with Joel where I had leg day...and did some weight machines that I had never done before. Also moved my weights up on some. And some pull-up work. Finished up with some I'll admit quite slow miles because my legs were ready to call it a day. Grocery shopping and then on to home and some cleaning. Essay written about the community service, this was one that we should definitely repeat.Then steaks on the grill just in time to beat the rain. Hope that everyone is safe from the weather tomorrow! It was a good day, cleand went to Walmart tractor supplies ate at a bj. Got my dog a bone and a Chew toy that she now won't leave alone.
Right now just focusing on finishing the rest of my requirements and helping the other candidates with prepping them for their test. Especially with Sid and Brayden going for their third dan they've got a lot of curriculum to know and be ready for. I've heard about the storms moving our direction and how its already affecting the western states hopefully its not too bad. For today I didn't have much to do went to church in the morning and had the rest of the day to myself.
Today was a pretty good day. When I woke up, I began to think about how we started training in the very beginning of January. We all have come such a long way and now we only have what feels like a few more days ahead of us. It really feels like time has been flying past for me. Anyway, I jumped into my requirements early so that I had the rest of the day to do other things. I had some homework that needed to be done but other than that I did not have anything else on my agenda. The end is in sight; I hope that everyone can finish strong for the time remaining.
Today I went to Church. After that I went to the park to see if I could find my phone because I had left it there yesterday. It was still where I left it. I played basketball while I was there then I went home and did some homework and chilled. I also gave my dog a bath today.
