She's A Role Model

Tonight, I assisted in the Senior Tigers class (ages 8-12) before my Adult class.  I met an 8-year-old Yellow Belt who I'd never seen before.  I thought she was visiting from another dojang, but she's been on vacation for the last month and hadn't been back at practice until tonight.  If she hadn't told me, I would have never known because she still performed Kwon Sool in both English and Korean, the advanced blocking techniques, and Chagi Sool without missing a beat.  I asked her how she remembered all that so well, and she said she practiced every day while she was on vacation.  That was very encouraging to hear because I remind other students that, if you want to improve, you can't just practice on Tuesday and Thursday nights when we have class.  You have to put in work outside of class.  She is the proof of what I've been saying.
