Today i did my essays. i forgot yesterdays journal. i'm very sad but i don't think it'll be that bad. I did a essay today and yesterday. Going to do my nurtrition challenge soon. I my requirments tyen played video games. i was eating bread and that bread was a retextured brick. This cycle has its drags but i think its been good so far. theres no black belt class or sparring due to color belt testing. Okay i'm done now

Thanks to Master Dege I just realized I’d been missing out on my tracking requirements. I spent most of the early hours catching up that item. Then later rushed in the daily requirements.

So today I played a new game that I got called rocket league which is pretty fun and then went to the gym and ran and did my requirements. My mom is doing yoga and I am doing trail life later. It was a fun day with my new game. Also fortnite is having a live event on saturday and Im excited for it. Also the brought fall guys and I finished the quests which were SUPER easy. Goodbye

Hill Sprints

When I woke up, my sitter came over and we did a big workout.  I did my requirements and also did hill sprints for my running.  Then I went to the dentist and I am about to go to hockey practice.  See you tomorrow.

I had a very eventful weekend which is why I haven’t been journaling lately. I flew out to New York Friday morning for a national youth conference and was busy ever since. I was supposed to fly back home on Sunday, but my flight got cancelled so we went to DC by bus. We stayed at a hotel overnight and went to the National Mall in the morning. Then it was a long drive home, I got home late night on Monday. There’s a lot of catching up to do for requirements.

IV

Hello guys, I got a IV yesterday and it did not go according to plan. My mom said that she didn't think the nurse knew what she was doing. First time she did it in my left arm and she missed my vain, Second time she did it in my right arm but she blew out my vain. I am feeling a lot better then I was because of my electrolyte drink and I am ready to keep going, but if I am at TKD please don't hit me too hard in my stomach.

8/6 My hatred for school

Good morning, I got to sleep in today. I'm a bit annoyed because open house is tomorrow and school starts in one week. Starting 7th grade in Hickory ridge middle (the best middle school). Hope I have a math teacher for more than a few months. My friends should hopefully be in my class. Got to say, my brain will need to get used to school real quick because the most math I can do is 2+2=4, and don't get me started on ELA. But who knows, maybe this will be a good year (I maybe will get a girlfriend). Question, whats it like on the first day if your home schooled? Well hope you have a good day.

LMP August 6

I got up this morning, showered, and decided to do 1/2 of my physical requirements and will do the other half at camp. Since the Olympics are still going on, I'll see if my kiddos can do a physical requirement for a minute, plus I'll get mine in too.     ( it's always more fun with others)  I still despise burpies. I think I would like them better if there wasn't a push up in the middle.   I don't see how  / why jump roping is a physical requirement. You would think 'v- sit ups' or specific leg exercises would be required. I would rather do extra situps, or miles over burpies.  Rolls and falls?!?!  How many of our KT locations does a falls / rolls class? Why isn't this part of our blackbelt class? What if you only have wooden floors at home? Are you expected to buy a membership...

Monday 8/5 Journal

Got up and did 2 miles this morning, I’m still a little behind from being sick. Catching up feels almost impossible, I’ll get there but it’s a lot!  In the beginning I felt this was very do-able and the deeper in we get and the more time it takes me every morning to get through things the more I realize how hard this is! I have work travel today, tried to stick with my nutrition challenge but finding good food in an airport isn’t easy,

Day #24 - 8/05/2024

Practiced self defense up to 1st degree, couple of spin yups, tornado, and back kicks. Need to work more on jump back kicks. I feel like I’m still improving but still have some ways to get to peak performance. I’m still sore all over and mostly tired, but muscles are getting toned as well. I find that I can push harder. It hurts more but it’s possible.

Today felt more packed than usual. I got up about 2 am, and did my physical and tkd requirements back-to-back. After that I took a nap and got up and ready to help with the 6:30 class. Im trying to get the most credits in before testing throws me off a little. After the 6:30 I took the advanced class at about 7:10 and worked on some forms and grappling.

Dry Monday

Dry as in the weather.  I was looking at the rain forecast with Debby coming up the coast and I'm pretty sure my grass is going to look like tigers stalk through it looking for hunters to eat.  I wish I had time to get outside and do some milage before the rains come, but I am also grateful to have access to treadmills for times like these.  Maybe the storm will veer off into the ocean, who knows? Hurricanes are predictable yet unpredictable. So helped in one class, led warm ups in another.  It's really strange after you get used to teaching a class the whole period just leading warm ups.  I feel like I'm slacking.... speaking of.slacking, I need to get cranking on that creative form.  I really really REALLY want to do some with my three section staff, but I don't know what the learning curve is on...

Sweaty Monday

Went to the allergist the morning for my weekly shots.  They said I'm almost done with increases and should be able to start maintenance soon.  I don't know how long it'll be before I can start going less frequently than once a week but I'm looking forward to it. I got all my physical requirements done during the day and started in on the Taekwondo requirements afterwards.  While dinner was cooking Gabe and I worked on some of those together.  Hopefully we'll be getting closer to regular speed on our self-defenses soon because we're getting more confident in the techniques.  Of course, we're only four weeks in so we're still making mistakes but we're getting better and have started catching each other's mistakes more easily. Then after dinner, we practiced a bit for our PMAA testing tomorrow night.  Once we get past that it'll be a load off my shoulders.  Hopefully...

Hi King Tiger Family. Happy Monday! Pretty good day all in all. Did not start as early as I wanted but still got off pretty well. Work went well and the home then off to TKD. Helped with class and then took a class. Great to practice Hopkido. Worked on some stick. Now just finished some physical requirements. How to head to bed soon. Have a great evening. Take care.

catching up is hard to do

I feel the requirements have gotten away from me a bit but i'm trying to catch up. Came in early to my son's class to help out and am going to do so for the next couple weeks to get those leadership credits. Also was able to jog a mile today faster than i ever have in my life (i think) 15:31. I can probably to better since my neighborhood has some deceptive inclines and my right leg was cramping a bit so i had to walk more than i wanted. I hope i can complete these requirements in time. I don't want to let Master's Foster and Knight down at Harrisburg.

nice day

so I started my nutrition challenge a few days ago. That was a mistake. I started on the day we left for camping. I couldnt even have a  nice burger or hotdog because of the no bread thing.  But today was nice atleast. So I woke up and did some stuff my mom told me to do. Then I did some requirements. I played some games for a bit then left for taekwondo. Got my credits but no mentee because he wasnt there. Then I ran at the park and got surprised when sid showed up and ran with me and declan. There were football practices at the park and I watched them while I ran. My open house is on wednesday for school and I'm not excited. School starts next week! Today I got ready and went to king tiger.  I assisted with one class.  When I got home it was looking like it was going to rain so we went and walked my dog 2 miles.  Then I thought about getting ice cream bur decided not too.  That was my day so bye for now

Start of the week

Today I woke up to do my run which was pretty good, after that I hit the gym and got a quick workout in was I enjoyed. After that I went with my dad to drop off a vehicle at a car shop to get my cars breaks redone which was done very quickly, because he finished it in a few hours. Then I went to work, and had a lot of fun there helping out with the kids and enjoying ourselves after that we went home got some amazing dinner and watched a movie called "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes". It was a well done movie I enjoyed it a lot, and that was my night.

Journal 15 -marvelous Monday

I hope everyone had a marvelous Monday and is excited for a terrific Tuesday!!! Got up and me and my brother made Chocolate crêpes. They were amazing and it didn’t take that long to make them! Later, I went to get my allergy shot And after we headed over to my brothers, open house for school. When we finish, we then picked up his school electronic and headed home. I got ready for taekwondo and helped at 5:15 and took the six!!! Hope everyone has a marvelous Monday good night!!!! P.S Today is National oyster day!!! ~Magnolia~

Today was a relaxing day first I woke up had breakfast, played on my phone. Did some requirements then Flynn’s dad came to pick me up and did all I had to do at taekwondo then went to do my 2 miles. And my time was 16:39.27. I saw few friends from school practicing football.

today I woke up and did my requirements for taekwondo. Then I did a 2 mile run. Then I did my chores and then went to the pool from 10:00 from 3:00 so a lot of pool time! That was fun then I came home and then took a shower and then went to taekwondo I help out a bit and talk to Magnolia about stuff for taekwondo. Now I am done for the day! Good night!!!

Today I woke up and did my run then I went back home and I did my exercises, pomsae and self defense. Then I did some of my 5th grade work, after that I went to taekwondo and helped out in the jr tigers. Last I lead the senior Tiger class and i did a good job.

LMP August 5

Happy Monday !  Got up and went to camp. Managed to see my mentee crush the first half of her poomsae! Before leaving today, I got in a mentor session with 'A' and she did well. I'm so proud of her. I know she will do amazing with her self defense and get her new belt!  Came home and did my requirements.  I keep thinking the same thing I tell my students, just 1 more. 1 more push up, 1 more burpie, 1 more sit up. 1 more attempt at your pull ups.

still sick.. maybe i'm dying

Still really sick. My mom gave me dramamine or something to help with the nausea and now I just feel weird. Not sure why I'm reacting to the shots I got so badly. I can barely move or do anything. My mom said I might have to go to urgent care if I don't feed myself. It's day 4 of me barely eating anything. I don't want to fall behind.

Today I did all my exercises and I ran and walked 2 miles. After, we went to the Chiropractor again, and we also went to our school to drop off stuff for Ronin and meet his teachers. 8/4/ Journal

I got up earlyish and Got 2 miles in, I've been trying to get a stretch session in after my runs. They feel good, but i don't know if I'm actually getting any more flexible. I didn't think going up to 4 minutes each on the exercises would be a big deal but I can tell a big difference in my energy on that 4th set still.   We went out to Collect-a-con and actually saw a few king tiger folks. It was an interesting event, something I've never done before, doing something new is always good.  I also started learning my new skill this weekend, harder than i thought it would be so far!

Journal - Day 22

Good morning, everyone! Yesterday was a nice day. Overall, I met all my requirements yesterday, and the other half of the day was spent cleaning the house. It always happens to be in my house when you lose something, and you end up finding everything else that you lost except the actual thing you need. I am trying to knock out essays before hand so that I don't have to worry about them next cycle or in the school year. This morning, I went back to school to return my computer and just came back. I am planning on going to TKD today and am hoping my book is still there. Have a wonderful day!

On Track

During today, I woke up and did my requirements and then after that started tracking everything from week 3. I practiced more for the 1rst Dan and 2nd Dan self-defense before doing the specials to see where I was at.

More yard work

Day started fun. We went to a Cannonballers baseball game. Did get baked in the sun but it was fun. Then 4 hours of yard work. So tired, so sore and a little bit sunburned on my hand.

This morning I ran a mile with my Dad and came back home to do my exercises. I practiced my Pomsae, self defense, and kicks. I was a little tired after running today but I kept pushing. I can tell I'm getting stronger by doing exercises everyday. I will keep pushing until i reach my goal.

Where'd the weekend go?!?

I tend to ask this every Sunday evening to be fair, but it seems like I blink and the weekend is gone.  I am remembering now why every cycle I have contemplated hiring a maid until October, because between classes/requirements/shopping for the upcoming week I never have enough time to clean it seems.  And keeping the house clean is important, as well have multiple people who have dust allergies.  In addition to that, my daughter's new aide is mildly allergic to dogs.  We.have a dog, so I am trying to at least vacuum and wash the dog's things more than usual so she doesn't have a reaction.

Today I woke up and headed to church; today's message was amazing and it was about how God loves us through the struggle. I also got to see a good friend, Silas, and heard he might be coming to my school starting this school year. I then got food, ate, and did some requirements. Afterwards, I went to Latta to do a long run; I ended up falling pretty hard during the run, but it was nothing serious. I then came home, watched a few cooking shows with my dad, and now I am here.

Sick Day

We had an illness issue this morning so we didn't make our usual trip to the park for training.  Once that was resolved, we got on with our day and did the usual weekend shopping.  While Gabe took our daughter to Zumba at the gym, I went out and knocked out almost two miles.  I probably shouldn't have worn jeans but I didn't feel like changing and then changing back. One they got home we had some food and finished up our shopping for the week.  Then it was time to start dinner and knock out some physical requirements.  After dinner we were informed that someone threw up so we had to stop for a bit to deal with that and then finish up requirements for the night.  Hopefully that's it for everyone feeling sick for a while.

On Saturday, I went to sparring class in the morning and assisted a junior tiger class. Then, I did all of my requirements and had to go to a party. On Sunday, I did not have any classes. I finished my requirements after lunch. I then ran for 2 miles and ate dinner. I will see you on Monday.

today I woke up and did my requirements for taekwondo. Then I went on a run. And then got home took a shower then went to collect-a-con. Super fun!!! Frisbee golf

When I woke up I ran a mile with my mom and did my requirements.  Later in the afternoon I played Frisbee golf with my dad.  My dog, Sammie came too.  In Frisbee golf, I have frisbees called beast, cobra, putter and mamba.  My parents and sister have other ones.  When I got home we had dinner and then now I'm ready for bed.  Good night.

Journal 23: home sweet home

Today was the day we left to go home. Camping was fun, relaxing, and I am exhausted. When we got home we discovered the water heater leaking in the garage. Plumber came to fix it in the middle of us unpacking all the camping gear. Seating up tent and canopy back up so they could dry out. I vacuumed my mother’s van. It took a lot of energy that I did not have for my run tonight. My time was a longer than it has been. I am still learning how to pace myself for 2 miles.

Hey guys, i'm feeling sick. Got shots for school on Thursday before sparring and I haven't eaten anything for 3 days. My mom and dad tell me to toughen up, but I just throw it up. My mom forced me to walk 2 miles today, now I'm in bed. Night Night.

Today i went to Collect-a-con. it was cool to be there but it didn't really have anything cool because all of that was on saturday. i forgot to put 2 weeks yesterday so oh well. when we got hom i did some gaming and went to the gym for requirements. we came back and i'm doing my journal now. Little things

I think the thing that made me the happiest today was my cat joining me for a cat nap today before work. She did the kneeling thing and purred, and I just love it. Then she licked my face, which is a weird feeling, never had her do that before. So I had her on one side of me and my dog on the other. So comfortable!

Rest Day

So today I went to church and we had a guest speaker, and he was really good. Our normal pastor is on subaticle, which means he is gone for about 12 weeks. This is to give the pastor rest and help refresh his mind. After that we had lunch at this really good mexican truck called Titos. Now i'm home, and about to go to a concert with some friends, so that will be a lot of fun. The band is called Cage the Elephant, it was difficult to figure out the tickets considering my family doesn't go to many concerts.

Park Perspiration

I was in the mood for some alliteration with the title. It was another productive day at the park going over Stick form 1 & 2, Staff 1 & 2 and Bocho Specials. Bocho Specials was definitely a good refresher for me. Thanks, Master Dege! Sometimes, I can get so caught up in knowing the "new stuff"....still have to remember the "old stuff". Also, Master Scott sent me a video of Master Burkart doing Staff 2. So I am happy having a visual I can refer to instead of memory alone. I will finish up my day with requirements, but I can pace myself. No working tonight. Yippee!

Church

Today I went to church, and I got talk with some friends, one of which was Zane (idk how to spell it). Anyway, I got him to come and help in our church lesson that we did and I asked him if he wants to serve a mission which is something you doo when you turn 18 in our church. He said that he'd like to, but I told him if he wants to he needs to get more involved with the church. When I got home, we walked around our block and got 2 miles done, now I'm going to play some DnD with my family, and also one of my mom's friends kids, so wish me luck. I'm going to be the DM so I've got to go now, bye!

Journal - Day 21

Good morning, everyone! Yesterday was a better day. I am feeling much better than I was earlier and finished many requirements and parts of my essays yesterday. I started on my 7-hand techniques of Tae Kwon Do yesterday and also completed a 12-hour period with electronics. Surprisingly, the challenge was not as hard as I thought it would be, and I actually did well. Today, I am planning to finish requirements, and tomorrow I have to get my book from Tae Kwon Do. Today I went to blackbelt class.  Afterwards I got breakfast. I was really tired and took a little nap.   For lunch I made waffles. Then I had to run and get the last of the things I need for Seabase.  I am leaving Monday morning for camp.  After we got back I went for a walk with my mom.

Icky fish update

For those of you following along with the icky fish saga, there is definitely improvement in their looks and behavior.  One fish looks almost entirely normal again.  The other fish had little color yesterday and looked like he was wearing those contacts that actors wear to make their eyes look entirely white.  His eyes look back to normal today, so no more zombie fish.  And more importantly, they are both eating again.  Looks like they are going to pull through! We got to go to black belt class today with Master Opie at the helm.  One thing I really like about when he teaches is that we are going to do stretching at some point in the class.  We also usually get to do punching/blocking/kicking drills that are not the usual combos.    After class, PMAA review, and mentoring, we stopped to visit the fish guy since he was out. Today I woke up and headed to Black Belt Class, where we worked on a lot of Poomsae, which was great. I have a few small changes to make to my Poomsae's (mainly my preps). I then came home and relaxed before going on a run. It wasn't bad, but I probably should not have gone at 13:00, I should have waited until it got cooler. After that I went and to Best Buy and Target with a few friends to grab a few things (I pretty much ran errands with my friends). I then came home, did requirements, played some video games with the same friends, and now I am here.

Second Gear

Today we had Black Belt class with Master Opi.  I really enjoy whenever someone else teaches because it feels like you always learn something new and get a different perspective when it happens.  It's like finding a missing piece of the puzzle that was left in the box and now the picture starts to make just a little bit more sense. On the way home from class we saw the fish vendor out by the hardware store in Harrisburg and stopped to see what he had for sale.  We bought a few things for dinner and took them home.  Before long it was time to pick up our eldest from work and then on to lunch.  This dietary challenge is making dining out difficult so we picked up the food and then went home.  After lunch we packed up some stuff for Goodwill and then eventually Habitat for Humanity.  Once we'd...

Great Saturday

At Saturday black belt class we worked on our jumping turning and sidekicks. The hard part about it is it's much harder to see where your looking compared to just a turning side or hook kick while your jumping up in the air. I also did taebeuk and guemgang, I then went home and rested, later did pull-ups read my book, and played games.

Today I woke up and did my requirements for taekwondo. Then I did most of my chores before teakwondo. After bbc I finished my chores and played with my dog. Then I went to the library with my sister. I took master Opi's black belt class early in the morning today. He spoke and worked on combos, and how to use them practically advancing and retreating. And we went in depth on basic forms and reviewed self defense and forms. After that we worked on some pma stuff before the test Tuesday. Then before I left I went over stick, and staff form 1 with my mentor. And learned more of my special self defense. When I got home I did some physical requirements and practiced kicks.

Today we got back from vacation right now the workouts are getting easier but they’re still hard but you have to keep pushing through it to succeed if you don’t succeed try again it’s really fun when you get to win but if you don’t just practice that’s what I’ve been doing with my Black belt cycle even though it’s hard I never gave up that hurt but it was worth it then I have a fun day with all my family Talk tomorrow ✌️

Today we got back from Hilton head it was really fun there I got stung by jellyfish though. Tomorrow we go to collect a con it’s basically like a place where you buy stuff from games. I also did some requirements planks push-ups set ups pull ups and poomsae  self-defense. For me push-ups are kind of hard For me and planks  are easy. Everything else is kind of mid. Journal 22: day 4 of camping

Today is day 4 of camping. We first woke up had some breakfast which was delicious. Then we went to the town found the best candy place I have ever seen. After that we went to a park which was very fun then played in the stream then it started to rain. Then broke a rock and the inside looks so cool then came back to have dinner which was tacos.

Today i did black belt class. After black belt class i stayed for the white belt class and got a class assistance. my mom said the wrong time so i was waiting for like 30 mins. after class i games and then i went to the gym for requirements. i just got a watch for my miles so i can track that on it. i don't need my pedometer anymore. Okay i'm done now.

Journal 14 - super Saturday

I hope everyone had a super Saturday and is excited for a special Sunday!!! This morning I was woken up to my Puppy barking at the end of my bed. Apparently he had walked all the way upstairs and into my room just wake me up. I went downstairs and was with my puppy until my brother woke up this morning. I got ready to Go to taekwondo! Today there was no Zoom call and afterwards I helped out with class. I came home. I ate lunch and played games with my Mom and brother. I helped her prepare dinner and we ate as a family. Me and my mom played games afterwards while my brother watched the Olympics. I hope tomorrow is a special Sunday!!! Good night!!!  P.S. Today is National sandcastle day!!! ~Magnolia~

Progress

Black belt class with Master Chelley and then I help with class. I with some older girls who were white belts. We worked on hwang on poomsaes, and then broke down how to do two hand preps and blocks. When we were doing the poomsae it look like they were mimicking and trying to do it already, so I asked them if anyone explained to them why/how to do it. They did great. Ran a few errands and went back to do demo practiced. I’m getting closer to doing a back walk over. The kick over is stronger, but my legs still anchor me too back. When I can home this afternoon, I went to sleep, I have to back on my night schedule. Now I’m waking up and will continue my day.

Busy Saturday

Started the day at 3:45am with an Amazon delivery shift that had me stuck in the deep south (Monroe) and I wasn't able to get back in time for the class this am. I completed my requirements early, thouroughly cleaned the garage, did a bunch more Amazon deliveries, and studied for an exam I have to take for my job. It was a productive day.

New Computer

I had black belt class today.  I also helped with the next class.  When I got done, me and my dad went to go get a computer for school.  I got the same computer my sister got a few years ago.  I also got a mouse.  When I got home we got it all set up.  Tonight we watched alot of Olympics.  Have a great day tomorrow.

Hi King Tiger Family. I hope everyone enjoyed their Saturday. Nate and I went to Latta this afternoon and got some requirements done. It was a great to get most of what I needed done early. I just finished some kicks and now writing this. I am working on one of my essays. It is going pretty well, but I need to keep adjusting it. It is coming. Rested Zombie

After working last night, I made my way over to black belt class with the help of a monster drink. It was an intense class led by Master Opey involving extended running around the mat, stretching, punching/kicking combinations forward and backwards, poomsaes and self-defense...sweating galore! Then, those of us taking our PMA test next Tuesday, met with Master Cavazos for more practice. I brought a notebook and jotted some things down. I think I may make this a habit because I am in brain overload especially with everything I need to know during the black belt cycle and I think this will be helpful overall going forward. Phew!!! Lastly, Stick 1 & 2 and Keumgang poomsae with Instructor Gabe. Shower and sleep once I got home.

LMP August 3

Storms are closing in....... I got up this morning and prepared for blackbelt class. I had my weapons, my drinks, my license, and my cycle book ready to go.  Off I go, I get to the Dojang,unlock it, put my things in the cubby and ( few select words mumbled)...my Book!?!?  Double checked my truck. No book.  We'll, the fact I mad it to the 4th week before I forgot,  I'll take that as a win.  Master Evins is in vacation so Master Opey instructed class. We did some combination kicking and punching, a few poomsaes,  and  partnered up to practice our self defense.  After class, I have my 4-6 year old class and MJ led our warm-ups. He is also on cycle.  I told MJ that he was welcome to lead warm -ups for tbe next 9 weeks, leadership credit!  I also appreciated his help, some times new faces during...

8/3 Taekwondo day

Good afternoon, I went to sparing class (got a head shot in), a junior tigers class, a normal class, and then leadership. Master Foster for leadership made us lead a group some of our own warmups. Cant believe we're getting another storm. Got church tomorrow. Have a good day.😃😃😃

Work

Today was has been and will be pretty good. Today since Master Evins isn't here, we didn't do the Master Evins class which was nice. after I did the Black belt class, I worked up until like 11:30 so it wasn't that bad, the kids in the Little Tigers are a handful though. I have already done my requirements for the day and I'm going to chill until I have something to do. See you guys on Monday! I don't go on Sunday.

Journal - Day 20

Good morning, everyone! Yesterday was tiring. My body hurts like crazy, so I decided not to take class. Today, when I woke up, it got even worse, so I decided to stay home. I do not want to get behind on my requirements, so I'm taking it slow, one by one, each day. I am planning on doing my essays in the meantime as I recover. Have a wonderful day!

Day #21 - 8/02/2024

Today I ran another 2 miles in 20mins. Completed requirements later in the day. Practiced the Taekwons and Taeguks, Koryo, Pyungwon, and Taebek. I swapped the burpees with lunges and next time I would rather do half n half.

What a week

Week three is in the books now.  I thought I was behind on mileage due to all the storms popping up exactly at lunchtime when I was getting ready to go out.  Apparently my estimation was wrong because when I added everything up from the last three weeks, I'm almost exactly on target. I had to spend most of the day in the office today so requirements had to wait until after 5pm.  Then when Gabe got home, I was sent out on a mission to get Ich medicine for the goldfish.  Of course it started raining as soon as I left the pet store.  After dinner we worked on self defenses and forms.  Now it's time for bed and then Black Belt class in the morning.

Today was very tiring. Did two back to back classes black belt the sparring. My back is very angry. Going to try to at least get 5 miles in this weekend to try and catch up.

Fitting

I participated in the rolls in falls and during our black belt class, we also did staff form 1&2 and stick form 1&2. I am still good with doing those forms, as If I have photographic memory. When I got home I did my exercises and played games and rested for tomorrow.

Icky Friday

Did everyone get these lovely storms? I was going to go out and finish up my milage for the week but decided not to with the lovely light show outside.  When. I got home I realized the goldfish looked strange.  Upon closer examination they appear to have ick.  Mark ended up going to the store to get them medicine so they can get un-icky and look normal again.  Tomorrow is Black Belt class followed by PMAA training followed by mentee session. We are supposed to test in PMAA Tuesday, so good luck to my fellow PMAA students.   On a non-icky and definitely cool note, I was at work and saw Master Chelley in the waiting room! She wasn't there to visit me, but it was a very nice and unexpected Friday surprise!

Returning to normal

Got back from the beach. It was great, I think I sleep for day and a half. I practiced in the morning before we started any activities. I tried running in the beach … hated it. Swimming is so tiring, probably cause I don’t do it often. Wedding ceremony was lovely and I’m so happy for the couple. When we got back in this afternoon I went to sparring and black belt class at Harrisburg, which was a great way to get re-pump for the cycle again. Master Foster teaches a very energetic class. Today was the last day of me wearing my old sparring gear. I have it since I was a blue belt (years, years+). My new set came in the mail so I be ready for next week!

Today I woke up. I played on my Xbox for a little while.  Then I went to class. In class I remembered all of stick form 3. I was told to work on parts of staff form 2.  During my mentor session we worked on the first part of staff form 2 to make sure my preps. and strikes were good.  I came home and worked on some requirements.

Rest Day

After i got up the only thing i could feel was a sharp pain in my hand every time i moved or breathed the wrong way. When I got ready I put it in a splint and started practicing my forms for PMA, and some TKD forms I was shaky on. After that I went for a long walk with my family, before winding down and doing my German.

Today, I did all of my requirements after eating lunch. Then, I attended my Saturday black belt class and my advanced sparring class. After the classes, I ran for 1 mile. I will try to run for 2 miles next week. I will see you tomorrow.
