When my mom picked me up from the bus stop we went directly to get our allergy shots. After that we went to Barnes and Noble and got a few books. After I headed over the tae kwon do and took the 5:15 rolls and falls and the 5:30 black belt class. Then I came home and ate dinner. I hope it was a fantastic Friday for all. Good night. P.S. Today i woke up late because my alarm didn't work and got ready for my 4th day of school. After scholl i went to afterschool and did my requiroments. I got a mentor session in and a sparring credit. Day 6 of my nutrition challenge i think and its gone well. I haven't messed up... yet. Okay i'm done now.

Today was pretty easy too, I went to school finished my homework and we didn't go to the gym but finished our exercises at home. After that, we went to Black belt class and did a mentor session. Then I got home and ate cheese burgers for dinner. We are watching a movie tonight so bye!
It's the end of the 5th week. My mentee was not at king tiger when I arrived, which means I need a new mentee. I'll message Master Evins this weekend. I had sparring tonight...I actually had fun. Granted, I'd rather be able to relax a little on a Friday night, but it's ok. Off to shower and bed
When I woke up this morning, I felt pretty good overall. Later on, I noticed pain in my right pectoral muscle and I tried to stretch it out which did not help....probably made it worse. I think it must be the burpees I did in Muay Thai last night (the last straw) on top of my other requirements. When I sneezed, I realized it was worse than I thought....intense shooting pain through the right chest muscles. It took my breath away. I will not be doing any pushups or burpees today. You do not know what muscles you use until it is time....I needed help opening the ibuprofen bottle! I still feel a twinge, but I am much better. I gotta to work tonight and black belt class in the morning. Have a good one!
Made it through a tough week. Work has been busy, and requirements are getting more challenging, but I'm manageing to stay close to caught up. Planning on a mentoring session tonite, folowed by rolls and falls, and then black belt class.
Thursday- Got up and did the standard 2 miles with Abigial and the dog. We really are getting that down and decreasing our time. It was a fairly stressful day at work, which hopefully means Friday will be better and more calm. I got through about half of my requirments before work and the other half at lunch, work from home days really make this much more achievable! Tonight was sparring, which I enjoy but I am always amazed how much energy those short rounds take up. Friday I should be on schedule with everything, got to get 3 miles in and try to catch up on some planks and pull ups. I know we are almost halfway- it's feeling more achievable!
Climbing! Ran 3 miles in 25minutes today. Practiced my staff forms, advanced double stick forms and Taekwon 4.
After class assistance, I took my first Muay Thai class. There are some differences compared with TKD such as stances, kicks and hand placement for face protection. I found it particularly interesting that my stance as a left-handed person has to be different from a person that is right-handed. We practiced elbow strikes, knee strikes and a 360 kick (I hope that is the right name). I am sure I will have some sore areas tomorrow. Overall, I enjoyed it. Have a good night!
Today wasn't as busy with work so I got all my physical requirements done before I was done with work. Then it was down to the dojang to help with class. I led warmups and, I think for the first time ever, managed to get through the entire set without anything being out of order. It's only taken me three years to finally memorize it. It's funny how I can tell you if someone leading class changes up the order but I couldn't just rattle off what the order is supposed to be - especially under the pressure of 30 pairs of eyes. After helping with class, we jumped into the Muay Thai class and learned that some skills will carry over, many won't. It was a lot of learning and watching but it was fun. Except now my arms hurt from throwing elbows at the pads. We helped clean up...
We went to Muay Tai tonight. I wasn't sure I was actually going to go because I was negative fifteen points in energy when I got off work but go I did. It was a good class, but I realized that a) I don't know how to count in that class and b) I have to relearn all my stances and kicks. I didn't get to meet everyone in class tonight but I'm sure eventually I'll know everyone's name. The guys coming from Black Belt USA seem to be a decent crew and I'm looking forward to meeting more friends in the group. This morning, I got up to go to campus for my next class which is on Thursday. Felt like time was going a little slower while there, We were walking and standing a lot doing tutorial tasks during the time we had. When I came home I had a hard time trying to do other things more than before. Later went to taekwondo in which I did class assistance, and sparring. It's going to be hard getting through school and taekwondo going forward, unlike the summer, but I'm sure I can make it through it on the long run. This day was more of the same like monday since my same teacher was going through the basics.
Did another 2 miles this morning before bed. Probably take it easy tomorrow and just walk more. The pounding on my back, i just need to take it easy for a day to heal. Was able to get in 2 sessions with 2 mentees today then a great old school class with Master Knight.
School was the same as ever today, nothing remarkable. I didn't go into the dojang today because the class times changed so I just stayed home, got my stuff done, and rested. I ended the day with some homework I forgot to do and caught up with tracking.
Today was another very long day. I woke up, went to practice and got to cheer on a few teammates doing a time trial they missed yesterday. I then came home and did a few small To-Dos before listening to my first college lecture. I then went to work and followed that up with a pretty good sparring class. I then came home, got ready for bed, and now I am here.
Hi King Tiger Family. I got to instruct with a family class today. It was good. We worked on color belt Poomsaes. I always find instructing helps me refine my own Poomsaes. When you have to teach it, you have to break down each move and explain it in words. It is a great way to refine. I actually do that sometimes when I am just practicing or doing requirements. I just say it aloud as I do it. I found sparring tonight very good. I got to spar Master Marcus. It reminded me how out of shape I am. I used to be much faster and better at sparring. Today i went to my third day of school. It was nice and i didn't get lost so that's a plus. Today at P.E. i did my mile. Day 4 of my nutrition challenge, my teacher was talking about chips and that made me sad but it's a challenge for a reason. I learned that I actually have honors ELA which means i'm smart. I got my requirements done at after school and went home and ate. Okay i'm done now.

Today I woke up and I went to school and we made a gilder out of a straw and a piece of paper which was fun. Then after school I went to Taekwondo and I got a mentee, mentor, and an assistant credit. Last I had agility with my baseball team. Last today was a great day and I can’t wait for tomorrow.
Today I went to Sparring class. I sparred against Bryce and Kasey. When I sparred against Bryce he kicked me in the knee and it hurt a lot. Then I came home and had breakfast for dinner.
Today was pretty easy-going for the most bit. I had school and I had a project I was working on with a friend but he kept on goofing off with other people and not doing his work. I got all of my homework done at school so that's a positive. After school I went to the gym and ran 1.5 miles and did all my exercises. I think I'm done with my miles for the week. After we got home from the gym, my mom asked me and Jack to bring cabinets upstairs because we are redoing our laundry room. Afterwards, we went to sparring. I sparred twice, Zayne and Peter so that was pretty fun. Now I'm going to eat dinner which is hotdogs which I'm not happy about. Anyway have a nice night, see you tomorrow!
Ugggg.....I may need to switch my mentee. I've attempted several times to meet with my mentee this week, and either she left early or I missed her due to my class time. We tried to do a session tonight, and just as we were going to the next few steps in her form, her parent showed up. I'll try one more time tomorrow evening before sparring. Got off work later than I expected, Didn’t even really have lunch. Three patients with a bunch of drain output, two patients at electrolyte problems, two patients and pain, an admission, and only one patient who really needed nothing from me. The honestly, they were all really nice/enjoyable patients. I’ll take them again tonight hopefully the interventions I did last night, and then during the day will make for a better night. So I went to bed later than I usually do, and I woke up later than I usually do. I just woke up, I just ate and I’m bout to go back to work about 6:30pm (it 5pm currently). I was about to tell myself that I can’t do anything for the cycle today, but honestly, I have an hour. So I’m gonna make the best of what I got.
Wednesday- Got up and did 2 miles, it's getting easier, got about half of my requirements done before work. I've added about 20 minutes of stretching after my run, and it's helped my hips not hurt so much, but it does add a lot of time to my morning, I may need to get up earlier. Abigail and I went to the 5:15 class to help out, I think teaching Poomsaes may be the best thing for me, as it really challenges how well I know each move and stance. recognizing someone elses mistakes are harder than recognizing my own. We took the 6 and 6:45 classes, and made it home. I need to get into gear on some more of my essays this week.

Well, today was that special day. Training day, but Master Buckhart opened a gate by gifting me a special handmade staff. As if to say for my sojourn, determination, and hard work so far. Thank you Sir! Then Grandmaster Evins gave me a few free training days credit for attending the knife seminar, my colleagues gave me tips about choppa events during grading, and finally Master Kavaso gave me a walkthrough my advanced double staff forms. Phew! How grateful am I!
Today I woke up and went to help out with summer camp. I was group 3 and we went to the park today. We went to Enzo and ate snacks and the went back to king tiger where we played big mat games til the end of the day. I came home did some kicks and running. Off to bed.
I woke up because I set an alarm for 8, but I went back to sleep. Not too long into the day I had to go to the dentist. It took a while to get there. Everything was good and came home. I was hungry so we stopped to eat lunch. I went to king tiger later and stayed for 2 classes. I came home and went jogging with my bro. That’s it. GN.
Today was a very long and productive day. I realized this morning I didn't post my journal last night, which sucked because I had the whole thing all written out. Today I woke up, went to practice, and then came home and did some school work. I then did a few requirements before heading to work. I finished my day by going and hanging out with my church bible study group. We ended up jumping in the lake and just hung out for a few hours. Now I am here.
Second day sucessfully jogging in the morning before bed. I keep getting hobbled by something every time so far either muscle cramps or indigestion or sore feet. I think i'll stretch more bore i take off and see if that helps. After my jog i do jump rope and push ups. Today was black blet class that i was 2 min late. I hit all 3 stop lights on the way to class right as they all turned red each time so i had to sit the whole light 3 times! that wasted nearly 10min. Oh, well sometimes its fun to be at the back of the class. :-)
Today was an extremely weird day. I spent most of the workday waiting for other people to pin things down so I could get to my part of the work. Every step forward felt like two steps back and if I had known how long it was going to be, I'd have gotten far more requirements done during the day. Instead I spent a lot of time trying to keep up with what wasn't going on and sneaking in requirements when I felt like I did have time. This morning I was (un) pleasantly surprised to discover that the tire pressure light on my dash was on and my car was driving funny. So I stopped and put sir in the tire, went to work, and decided to see how things were after. Sure enough, leaving work and driving across the street to the dojang (yes I work across the street from the dojang) the tire pressure light is on again, staring at me unblinkingly from the void. So-more air so I can get home, had Mark follow behind just in case, and called AAA while I made dinner. Samuel got to watch the guy change the tire, remarking "that's so cool!". I forgot he doesn't see that a lot. My dad was a mechanic and a machinist before retiring, so I saw him working on cars all the time. I'm glad Samuel got a cool experience for tonight. ...
My day started with school, where I attended classes and did my work. After school I spent time staring at a bunny before it was taken, and ended my day going to Taekwondo.
I started my day as usual, woke up, went to school, all that good stuff. I came home ate some food and then I went to PetCo with my brother to get kitten milk for the bunny we found yesterday. My brother took the bunny and now they are taking care of it. I went to the dojang early to help out with class and take black belt class after all of that. In the evening, I had to do schoolwork, which is never fun.
In the morning, I got my hair retwisted since it was growing fast over the summer. It does look a little different, though it is much smaller and denser than how it was previously. As I arrived home, I did my requirements, had sandwiches for dinner and slept because tomorrow I have another morning class to go to and I don't want to be drowsy when I wake up. Goodnight.

Today on my run I got so many cramps. Today when I woke up I started some of my requirements and then went to the hub bus to take me to school. Instead of all my classes I only had 2. I think my class schedule is fixed now.
When I woke up it was the first day of school and I was so excited. My mom made us take pictures and then we went to school. I had art and recess. When I came home I went to Taekwondo and did a mentor session. When I got home my sister and dad were playing basketball, I changed and played with them. Then I worked on my hockey shots. It was a great day.

So first I went to the gym and hit a leg day, then I went home from that and had to mow one of my neighbors yard which was a pretty big mess because it hadn't been mowed in weeks, after that we had to go to my open house to see my teachers and set up my locker. I got to see all of my friends though which was nice. I start school tomorrow and I'm not all that excited. After that me and my dad went to Habaci Pit and got some food there and then went to work. So it was a very fun last summer day.

Hello, today I woke up and had my favorite breakfast and it was so good. Then I went to school and did all this stuff, but in ELA we read a story about this really sassy girl who thought she was the best. But it turns out her brother is better when he is disabled. When school ended we went to the gym to do all of our stuff. Then we got home had a quick snack and went to TKD. I got stuff checked off and it was fun, then when we got home I noticed I had not started my book project so I started working on that. So today I went to school and did everything I was supposed to for the first time in like four grades. Today I had band first thing in the morning again, but I had it for 90 minutes so that was fun. Got up and did 2 miles. hit a record time on the first mile. It's nice to see improvement. I need to get a 3 mile day in later this week. I had to go into the office today and managed to snag a conference room and finish my exercise requirements at lunch. In the evening Abigail and I did our poomsaes and self defense. I'm not sure how i would do this without her pushing me and helping me everyday. It must be harder for those people doing it alone. I want to make a list of everything I need to know so i make sure I'm not missing something. We keep learning more and I'm worried I'm going to miss something!
I can tell my endurance has increased. I went skating to tonight and I did an advance trail route (long distances with traffic and hills). I’ve done the route before, but I was up in the front keeping a good pace. Maybe next year I’ll do the marathon skate in New York. Sam’s club messed up are delivery and gaves us a free pickup order for the items, but we did find them at one of the neighboring apartments buildings. So we got double of of non perishables home supplies. Going to go to the gym and end the night/morning with requirements before bed.
Mondays to Tuesdays are a tough transition for me because I work every Monday night during the cycle and then I begin the TKD days. I assisted with Junior Tigers x 2, and the Senior Tigers class. I woke up today starting my schoolwork as early as possible before heading to. At class assistance, I did two mentorships switching between two people for 2nd Dan specials. Once I got home, I practiced more of what I was mentored on in class. Tomorrow I'm getting my hair redone and it's gonna look slightly different than before. I'm thinking of either small or medium twists and see where that goes.
Starting my jogging catch up this morning. 2.03 miles before bed. Leg was cramping a bit so i couldn't get a super good time but i'm doing it. Had a mentee session with Mr. Woods and regular class tonight. Good times. Also did push ups and jump rope. I can already tell just a few weeks in that my cardio is better. I'm not a marathon runner yet but i feel like i can recover faster and better after getting winded.
Today was a get up earlier than normal day, which if you've been reading about kids returning to school you already know about. School car line gets better, but not for about a week, so you got to just hang in there. I tried to call my dad today but he didn't answer. That's not unusual though, since it seems at least one of my nephews or nieces has stolen his phone and run the battery down. He usually calls back at some point. I spoke with one of my sisters earlier, and she sounded not at all like her usual perky self due to still being numb from having dental work done. Apparently her dentist was training a new person and was telling the new person that my sister is a great patient to work on, learn on, is laid back and " she knows the drill". I stopped her...
This has been a long day. Gabe and Samuel had to get up earlier than normal, even for a school day, so I didn't sleep as well as I would have liked. But I got up and got ready for work and spent time working and time working on requirements. I didn't get them all done by time she was ready so I did a bunch with her and managed to get over five for the day on all the physical items. I don't know if I'll need to bank that for an emergency or if it just means I might finish those items early if I can bank more. Either way, I've got them if I need them. After recess I played with my friend Parker we did a lot of running. Then we went to taekwondo I did my jump rope being there I love. Jump roping now! When we got home I did my requirements which I literally just did two seconds ago and for dinner I’m having mac & cheese and fish yummy Yum!!! See y’all tomorrow peace out y’all!
Today I woke up and then I went to school then I get all the stuff at night kids then I came to class and I helped out then I took the next class came home and now I’m doing my requirements see you later guys peace ✌️
Today more school training, but was able to work in my room too. In between my trainings, I managed to get in my requirements...and get a quick walk in too. Going to try and meet up eith my mentee tomorrow. It's hard to meet when I'm not at camp.
Today was the first day of school. At first, I was able to sleep in for an extra hour. And then my mom had to drive me to hickory ridge so I could catch a bus to go to roberta road. It was an exhausting day. When I walked in I was greeted with a really big building. When I got home, it was crunch time to get my requirements. I am checking out something new tonight, called trail life.
Today was my class orientation for school. I was so excited. When I got there a teacher was going to talk to us for an hour to tell us about the school year. I sat with all of my buddies at a table. After that I went to see my classrooms and find my locker. For now I'm sitting with all of my buddies in class. I can't wait for the school year!
Today we went back to the Chiropractor. I know it probably doesn't seem that bad at first, but my neck, upper back, bicep, knee, calf, ankle and foot were all in pain beforehand. My neck still hurts, and he was saying it wouldn't hurt but... Anyway, I had school again today, it was kind of tough getting into a schedule again but I seemed to have managed because I made it to all of my classes on time. I have P.E. last block so I didn't need to change out of my P.E. clothes and that was great. Later today I'm going over to our church and were going to play games there. The one that I'm looking forward to the most is one called (don't take it the wrong way) Secret Hitler. It's kind of like a mystery murder game and there are ( again don't take this the wrong...
Today I got up out of bed and ate, when I went to school I saw my friends and did all the stuff and went to my classes. After school I went on my walk and now I am gonna do my exercises then go to my church activity.
Monday, Today was a good productive day all Around. Got up and went for a run, only a mile and I'll need to add a few to get to 10 this week. Did some stretching after and then my physical requirements. 5 Minutes is a lot, I've been able to do about 3 minutes of each in 1 minute increments, and then I feel like I'm not getting much out of it as I can't do many reps in minutes 4 and 5. So I've taken to finishing my requirements around lunch, which is fine if I'm working from home, but I need to figure it out for the day I'm in the office. Today was the first day I've been able to go early and catch the 5:15 class to help with, It was nice and I'm hoping I can keep doing that.
Good morning, everyone! I forgot to log yesterday and the day before due to quite a busy schedule. Yesterday was a nice day. It was my brothers birthday yesterday and we took 2nd and higher class together. Today is my first day of high school and I am currently waiting on my bus to arrive. Have a wonderful day!
Because of my sleep cycles, I keep forgetting to journal. I told myself to journal before I went to work last night, Now I’m at work during my lunch break doing requirements and journaling because I know I’ll forget to do it last night. I guess it’s cause it feels like I didn’t do much. I woke up 4pm, took care of my animals, cleaned up a bit and ate. Then I went to work at 6pm. But then I have to remember that I was actually up until I went to bed at 8ams. Before bed I went for a run. I did double my requirements to make up for not doing any Sunday. Anyways I need to remember to journal more. Every day counts.
This week, I am beginning an AI program...just taking some introductory courses. I contemplated whether I should do that or not during the spring because I knew this BBC was approaching but I want to be done by the end of next year. I guess I will see how it goes....
Today was a little more routine. Helped with the 8+ and took the advanced. The new class times are weird but I know they will be more natural to me as the cycle goes on.
Climbing back the sage path now carefully and gradually. Ran 3 miles today and practiced self defense. Spent some time teaching Adeola some moves, as he is now starting to enjoy my Taekwondo sessions.
Working 3rd shift i sometimes have to stay up all day despite being up the night before due to family obligations etc... Today was one of those days so i couldn't get to class this evening or do any requirements and was too sleepy to do much during the day. I did get to sleep at 5pm though and got up at 10:50 to log into work. But tomorrow morning i'm starting my catch up for jogging since the school year is starting. Min. 2 miles in the morning before bed. Hopefully i can keep it up.
Today I was still pretty tired from camp. I guess I didn’t get much sleep while I was gone. Last week I was a Seabase scout camp and I got to learn to drive a sail boat in the FL keys. We went snorkeling and fishing. Hopefully tomorrow I will not be so tired and will be able to get caught up on my requirements I could not do while I was gone.
I woke up at 8:00 this morning, After breakfast I broke down a bunch of boxes we had in the garage. Then I took them to the recycle center with my dad. On the way back we ate at Moe’s. I then did my requirements before class. Not that big of a day.
And all through the house, The black belts were practicing with nary a grouse The stockings were discarded as they practiced feet bare, In hopes that soon new belts they would wear. Kicking and punching, requirements working the core Til they didn't think they could take anymore Pal chang, chil chang, and on to six more Double practice on Hapkido one, two, three, four Time for bed, it's late, turn out the light! Practice well black belt family, and to all a good night.
