It is about 6:40 PM, and I am about to start testing in a little less than 2 hours. I am going to keep this journal shorter than my previous ones because I want to take some rest. I had normal school today and then had baseball practice, which was only an hour and a half, and I didn't get too tired. I have been reviewing my forms and self-defenses and am packing for the testing. Good Luck!!!
Wow, tomorrow is the overnight testing. I am so excited and happy for this, but a little nervous. I know I will do fine, though. Today at school, we did the same things and learned a few more. I had to leave school early today because I had an away baseball game and we won it, so that was cool. Once I came back, it was almost 8 PM, so I couldn't go to TKD to get some more practice in for tomorrow's test, but I practiced at home. I finished all my requirements almost a week ago, but I am still doing some more requirements every day because I know it is good for me. As I said, the test is tomorrow, and I hope everyone will be there and do their best as I will!
School was easy, and I had a benchmark that I did well on, but I thought I would do better. It was 3 hours long, and I finished with an hour left to spare, while going really slow, so that was so boring. I then went on with my day and had shortened class periods, which is nice because we just had a 3-hour-long test. After school, we had baseball practice, and we got our pictures taken, did some fundraising thing, and did some hitting. Tomorrow, we have a game against Winkler, so I am looking forward to having a great game! I didn't want to go to TKD because I was exhausted, but I practiced at home since we have our overnight test in 2 Days. I also had some delicious pasta that I made, and it was great.
Today was really chill, and I didn't do much. I had my reading benchmark today also, which was really long and boring, so I didn't like that. I then went to all my other classes, which were chill, and I didn't do much. I had my first game of the season for baseball for the school team today, so I had to leave class early and took the bus there. I pitched and had an at-bat, and I did really well, so I was happy about that. I returned home, took a shower, ate an early dinner, and then finished my physical requirements, and I finished all of my requirements!!! That made me really happy, so after that, I just relaxed until my dad and brother came home from the gym. They just came, so I will finish some more homework, get ready for tomorrow, and prepare for testing this Friday.
On Sundays, I normally don't have much going on. Yesterday, I came back late from a friend's house because my parents came late to pick my brother and me up from their house. My parents went to a concert for a indian singer yesterday, and I didn't go because his songs weren't really my type of music. Today, I woke up pretty late and helped around the house with some things. I then ate lunch, took a shower, and went to play outside for a bit, but not for too long because I don't want to be tired for my game tomorrow. I then came back, finished my requirements, and took my picture with my plant and posted it on Facebook. It's nice to have a little relaxation day today, but I will be busy again this week.
I woke up early this morning to go to the North Charlotte location to get a weekend black belt class and complete that for my cycle. I had a lot of fun and got to meet new people while practicing all of my self-defense techniques twice. I then got hungry and went to McDonald's, but then went to the Harrisburg Location Taekwondo, where, to my surprise, GrandMaster Lee was there. I learned a lot of new things and was very informed, and I had so much fun. Then, I got a mentee session and left to go home, but then I saw basically all the black belts in the Charlotte location come to the Harrisburg Location and have a class with GrandMaster Lee, which was really cool. I had fun today at school. We learned about new things, as usual, and reviewed other stuff, which was fine. I liked the videos we were watching in Health, and I liked what we did in Spanish. After school, I walked to baseball practice, where I did some Infield Work and hit. Monday will be my first game, so I am excited about it, and I think I will be pitching too. I couldn't make it to the Black Belt Weekend class, which was a little sad. Now I have to go to another dojang to make it up, but that should be fun. I've been just relaxing for a bit because I just came back from Baseball, but then I went to go do my physical requirements. Almost a week more, and we have testing!!
Today I finished my 100 miles!!! I was so excited and happy because I couldn't believe that I did that. In school today, I had a lot of fun and got back with my friends and teachers after not seeing them in person for like a week. I now have health instead of PE, which I am a little bummed about, but don't really care that much. I also saw this music group perform for our school this morning, which was cool because they were talking in many different languages. I then had baseball practice for the school, but that got cut short quickly because we had a parent meeting after. Whoa, this cycle is blowing by really fast. Today, I had remote learning for school, and I finished all my work early, which I was happy about. Today, I also had my physical and written test, which I surprised myself on. On my physical test, I improved in everything and doubled on some workouts. On my written test, I did really well and passed, too. My mom then went grocery shopping while I waited in the car, and then we arrived home. I didn't do much at home except for my requirements, but then my brother and dad just left for the Y. I didn't want to go because I felt really sore and tired, but I will try to go tomorrow if I have time. Woah, it's Friday the 13th again. That's kind of cool. I've been enjoying seattle so far. I am not really going outside and finding out new things in seattle because of the climate. Currently, it is snowing and it has been raining hard since I arrived here. I still got to try new things though, like going to a costco here, which is the exact same in NC, and trying a indian pizza, which tasted so good. I am still getting my requirements in and think I am progressing well. Tomorrow is also the written and physical test, so I am wishing good luck to all the candidates, but I won't be there. I guess that gives me some extra time to prepare, but I am going to take it on a weekday, which makes it harder for me.
The past few days, I was at Las Vegas and my trip over there just finished. I had so much fun and did so much cool stuff that I was so pumped about. Something that really shook me off though was the time zone change because PST is 3 hours before EST, so I had to get things done faster. I just arrived in Seattle and am going to stay here for a few days and explore this city with my family. We are staying at my dad's friend's house, which is cool, and I hope to do some more exciting things. The past 3 days, I have been in LAS VEGAS for Spring Break. It has been a blast and I am having so much fun exploring this cool place. I am not leaving until the 11th, but I am not going straight home. I will be going to a family friend's home also, which is out of NC. The hotel I am staying at right now is kind of crazy. It is all Paris, France themed, so it looks really good. The past 3 days, I ate some really good and new food like Raising Cane's, saw awesome stuff like cool casinos, (not for long!), and large building and colorful stuff. I haven't journaled in 3 days, but I'm back. I've been so busy with other stuff like baseball and school, but I've been getting space now. I can now finish my miles at baseball practice because we run there and some other requirements. School's been getting hard because the quarter was about to end, so teachers needed all their work ASAP. I've still been finishing my requirements for the day, but haven't been getting the time to log them. I am back on track today. I am really excited for tomorrow because I am going to Las Vegas. Today was a better day than yesterday. I didn't have school today, so I just chilled at home and did other stuff. I finished my physical requirements earlier than usual today, so that was good. I also had one paper assignment from yesterday that I finished today, but it was kind of long. I had tryouts today for school in baseball, and I did really well. We did so much running and fielding stuff. I came home and couldn't check if I made the team because I had to go straight to Taekwondo, so I got changed and headed there. I got my leadership credit, which is what I need, and then just arrived home. I found out that I made the team for baseball, and I was really happy.
Mid-day today. I had two tests today, which I don't think were the best I've ever done, but I have definitely learned from my mistakes. I did some other stuff as well, so that was alright. Yesterday, I couldn't journal or log my requirements because I was outside, like the whole day. I still finished all my requirements yesterday, so I just logged them today. Today, though, I woke up really early and felt the need to finish all my physical requirements for today. The rest of today, I have to go shopping to buy new clothes, go to D-Bat, and go to the Y to get some more miles in. That's all right now because it's only noon, so I'll see yall later.

I played volleyball in PE, and that was really funny. Today, after school, was the first actual day of baseball tryouts, and I did well. The conditions outside were terrible and wet, so I couldn't play at my best, but I tried my hardest. Today, I had no Taekwondo because it is closed due to the Instructor's Camp. Chill Day Today. School was basically easy, as I didn't have much work. I played volleyball in PE and then worked on another worksheet in Spanish. I feel like my core classes are easier than my Spanish class, and I think that's only because I barely know anything in Spanish. Today was so long. I woke up pretty late today because I went to a party yesterday and returned late at night. There was a birthday party I had to attend, so I finished my physical requirements for the day, then got ready. It was a long drive because it was in South Carolina, but that was all right. When I got there, I ate a lot of food, did some activities, and played with my friends. That was about 4-5 hours, but after that, we had to go to another person's house. We ate dinner there, watched a movie, and did other stuff. I just came back home, and it is about 10:30 PM, so I am really tired. My body has been feeling better every day, but I am still sore all around.
Today was a long morning. I had to go to the dojang at 9 am for the sparring class. It was pretty fun as I got to do some fun drills and spar with my friends. Happy President's Day, guys. Today has been pretty chill and fun so far. It was my friend's birthday party at Topgolf, and I had a lot of fun. I came back from school about an hour ago, so I finished most of my physical requirements. I am going to go to D-Bat after my dad drops off my brother at the gym, which I am excited for. I can't believe how far I have came and looking at my log, I am surprised by the amount of minutes and miles I have done of various exercises. I then went to some career readiness event, Costco, an asian store, and then returned home. I joined a Zoom call with someone and got ready for the Superbowl. I had some really delicious food, went to Starbucks with my friends, and chilled. I thought the Super Bowl was pretty bad, but that's just my opinion. Today, I headed to school, and it was normal. I woke up kind of late for Taekwondo class today at 8:30 AM. I rushed to use the bathroom, brush my teeth, eat breakfast, get ready for sparring, and do other things. I arrived at about 9:06 AM and did my entrance fee which is 5 Burpees. Sparring was fun and after that, I got some mentor sessions, mentee sessions, leaderships credits, and did some other fun things. We were back to school today, and it was pretty chill. We were supposed to have 2 tests, but we only had 1, which I got a 100 on. Everything else was just catching up because we had a mini winter break. I have a meeting that I have to attend at 6 PM, but I will finish all my requirements for the day before that. Remote Day today, so I didn't get that much schoolwork. I finished it all pretty quickly, ate lunch, relaxed, and finished my requirements. My dad and my brother are going to the YMCA after they drop me off at the dojang, so I can get some other requirements done. Tomorrow we have a 2-hour delay, so I'm happy about that, but I wish we didn't have school at all. There is still some snow, so it should've been canceled.
I have remote learning today for school. I am still trying to finish my work, and I started at 9:30 AM. I swear, we always have more work whenever we aren't at school. Anyways, I am really bored and too tired to go play outside in the snow. All of these workouts for my requirements are really tiring, and my head hurts sometimes. I am still going to persevere and not give up. Later, I am going to finish my physical requirements and hopefully go to class if I am fine. I hope we have school off tomorrow because of the snow, and I think we are getting even more snow on Wednesday. Not completely sure.
Wow, so much snow outside. I played outside with my friends for almost 2 hours, and my whole body was numb. We went sledding on a hill, threw snow at each other, and did some other stuff. I also ran a mile outside, and it was my slowest mile yet, because I could barely move my feet out of the 6-inch snow. I finished my daily requirements and took a video of myself doing my self-defense and poomsae to get a BBC Credit. I feel stronger than I was at the beginning of the cycle, and I can also see the difference. I am really glad of my progress and happy that the Cycle is almost one month in.
School was pretty normal and fun, I guess. We learned some new topics, reviewed, and got ready for this weekend with materials, because it may snow a lot. Also, in PE, I played volleyball with my friends and got some good shots. When I came back, I relaxed and finished my requirements because I didn't have any homework. I then got ready for Taekwondo and learned that tomorrow it is closed, so I tried to get as many requirements as possible. Normal Day. I had a 2-hour delay schedule for school, so everything was wonky. We did some review and catch-up from the whole 5-day "weekend." I didn't get to go to the Dojang to help out with testing because I forgot, but I won't next time. I had to finish this project that I started today, and it was a little challenging. I had to write a letter and then do stuff to it, like burning it, to make it look like it was made in the 1950s. That was pretty fun, and I realized that it wasn't that bad. Wow, tomorrow we have a 2-hour delay. It would almost be a 6-day weekend, and that is crazy. Today, I didn't do much. I helped out with testing in the Harrisburg Dojang with the Junior Tigers and helped them break boards. That was really cool and made me feel good about myself. After all that, I went to the YMCA to get a workout in, and it didn't go that well. I didn't feel that great, so I ended my workout pretty early. We may be getting more snow this weekend, so I am excited. More days off, more time to practice Taekwondo.
I first woke up and made a list of things I could do today to keep myself engaged. The things included practicing Taekwondo, meeting daily physical requirements, playing the piano, completing pending schoolwork, and many more. I completed all of this by 1:30 PM and then had a delicious lunch. I then watched some TV and did some random stuff. Today, I didn't have any classes to attend for Taekwondo, so I was pretty bored. Wow, there is a decent amount of snow and a lot of ice. I woke up pretty late today and had McDonald's for Breakfast. I know it's not the healthiest, but I tried to get foods that aren't terrible for me. My parents also went to get Starbucks, so I got a coffee to try, which was pretty good. When I came back, my dad decided to put the Living Room TV in the Loft room, and the Loft TV in the Living Room. That was really time-consuming, so when that was finished, I had lunch. I am actually kind of excited for this winter storm because there are many perks to it. I want to watch the snow and not have school on Monday, so I can relax. Today went pretty well. I went to school this morning and learned lots of things. We learned Factoring in Math, did a lesson in Reading, finished a project in Social Studies, and continued a project in Science. In PE, we had our first 3v3 Basketball Game, which we won, and learned more words and phrases in Spanish. After school, I had Math Counts, and we did some math worksheets and ate snacks. I then returned home, finished my homework, and got ready for YMCA. I ran a mile, worked out, and finished my physical requirements. I just came home, showered, and am eating a small dinner since I am not very hungry, while typing this. Tomorrow, I will be leaving school early because I have to go somewhere important.
Apparently, it is going to snow and get really cold on Friday and the Weekends. I don't know if I should be happy or sad because I have experienced snow in Canada, and it isn't very fun. I started at 5:30 PM and left at 8 PM, so I was pretty sore, but I think I am getting stronger. I just took a shower, finished my homework, and am about to eat. Today, I woke up at 8 AM to get ready for my taekwondo classes. I had sparring class, then helped out with another class, and also had leadership class. Yesterday was the pretest, and after completing the mile, the physical requirements, the written test, helping with a class, and having leadership, I was exhausted. When I returned home, it was 12 PM. I was so hungry, so I ate a lot of food and took a nap. I thought I would only be asleep for 1 to 2 hours, but I woke up at 6 PM. I didn't think I was that tired, but... I was. When I woke up, there were guests at my house, and we were having a party, so I didn't have time to log in my requirements or journals. I got a little sad, because I was having a streak with my journals, but sadly it ended. Now, let's talk about how I did in the pretest. I really surprised myself with the mile, being 8:20, and thought I was going to do great today....
I am feeling very nervous and excited for tomorrow. It is the Pretest tomorrow, and I will have to do many exercises and requirements. I hope I run a decent mile time and will try my best for the other exercises. Today, I had a normal day in school and had a math test, which I did excellently in. I just came back home and finished all my homework, and took a shower. I didn't get to go to a class today because I am doing the white belt challenge, and I am not allowed to go to the black belt class. That is a severe obstacle for me because I didn't get to practice my poomsae, self-defense, etc, before doing my Pretest. I think I will be fine and am practicing today for tomorrow. Today was a very eventful day. I got ready to go to school today and learned a lot. In science, I had a test that I performed well on, and I didn't do anything particularly noteworthy in my other classes. After school, I had my final day of basketball tryouts and had a lot of fun, but I didn't make the team, so I was a little bummed. When I woke up today, I was very sore and tired. I woke up late today, but I still pushed forward and told myself that I still have to try my hardest. My parents informed me that we would be leaving in two hours for a Birthday Party and would come back late in the evening. I panicked, but told myself that I could finish my requirements in two hours. I got to work and managed to complete most of my requirements in an hour and a half, then got ready for the party. The party was awesome since I got to hang out with my friends, eat delicious food, and put cake on my friend's face. I just returned home and am finishing up the rest of my daily requirements. Hi, I am Prasoon Panda, and I am a Bocho Dan testing for my Black Belt this Spring. I took advantage of my break and finished many essays for my Black Belt Cycle. I finished 5 essays and learned a lot from them. The essays were time-consuming and a little challenging to write, but at the same time, I really enjoyed writing about myself, others, etc. I was really happy that I wrote that many essays, and now I am getting ready for my Pretest Assessment.
