Finally it's time for the happy dance, I am in green on tracking in all except one item (mentee) and I could not be happier.  My mentee, Luke -- who is the best, is only at class on Tuesdays because of other obligations.  Hoping that I can scoot away and meet with him a few extra days to get caught up but if I do not it's ok- - he is so worth working with.  I will be there for him on his next test regardless of cycle testing and requirements.  I am very lucky!!  Got to South Charlotte about 4:00 today and hit requirements hard.  My little friend Johnathan was there, all of 3 years old, that helps with my requirements on Mondays & Wednesdays.  He likes to know what I am doing, why I am doing it, what is next, when is the Panda going to find a home and can...

I’ve been reading some journal entries that have said the physical requirements are getting easier to do and at first I thought so too….but this week, the pushups, situps, and the burpees have been really, really hard.  And don’t even mention the pull-ups…I’m getting better at doing them with assistance, but I still haven’t mastered doing one without assistance.  L  I’ve just got to keep telling myself that I am getting stronger with every pushup, every situp, every burpee, and every pullup! I really enjoyed the rain today!

Today I didn't have soccer practice so I had a chance to help out with class.  I also got a mentor session and lots of requirements. I finished my homework before 8:30.  I now have some free time before bed time. 

Had a very successful day at South Charlotte. Had the chance to see Instructor Tucker and go over Knife Self Defense with Master Chin. Its so good to have her back! Im finally catching up with all of my requirements after being sick, having injuries and traveling. Im hoping I can get in another leadership credit tomorrow after finishing all of my schoolwork and completing the many projects that have been assigned. 

There are a few items I've either finished or I'm close...I can see the finish line. I wish I could say that for more of them. I've sacrificed time with my kids, housework, time with my friends, and time for myself. I look forward to getting some of that back...at least until next cycle.  My family and friends have been very supportive. I'm thankful for that. 

Today my little brother went on a 3-day field trip to Barrier Island so I can have 3 or 2 1/2 days annoying little brother free!  I got a recommendation letter from one of my teachers yesterday.  I should be getting another one from another teacher real soon.   

My school gives a lot of homework for fifth grade. The easy thing is I can do my homework at afterschool. I also get to read for 30 minutes.

Tonight I am going to manage my team.  I think I am going to have to take some players out.  This week I am playing my mom.  She's going down!  Right now she is projected to win.  That is why I am going to work on my team.  I am not going to lose to her.

today i went to leadership class we did a lot of jump and spin kicks for the jump front kicks master Kim told me to demonstrate next we did Tornado kicks i got really dizzy after class master Kim said my jump front kicks were great   

Today we raced at Mcalpine. I believe that is located in south Charlotte but im not 100% sure. But anyway i ran a 22:30 5k which is a minute behind my personal record so im getting back down to it. i am still sore from mondays workout of sprinting 4 miles so i couldve shaved some time off possibly. anyway im really happy with my time!

in the morning i ran 2 miles ugh wasnt that fun but the morning seems longer when i run i did some of my requirements to it was an ok morning 

today was an amazing day. i got everything done today and had two tests today in school and over 100 on both. then i went home and relaxed an hour then got started on requirements. i then went to class at lake norman and got my leg stretched out, if you didnt know, i pulled my hamstring 2 days into the cycle  -_- so i havent been able to do a split or a good stretch kick since. but im not letting it get me down. gotta keep trucking

I've had a rough day, I have a lot of work I do for both school and and cycle. I just don't have enough time. I also tried out for bluegrass bros which went okay but not real fantastic. I'm ready for bed.

Today I got to sleep in because I went to get a flu shot.  It affected my push ups and things I had to do with my arms.  My arm really hurts and I'm really tired.  Good night.

Pretty random day with work and requirements.  I would like to do the happy dance for having all green on tracking but it is not quite there yet - -bummer.  Got to dojang early today and requirements, requirements and requirements - -the mom's think I am nuts - -but it's all good.  Helped in one class, met with my mentee Luke, he is awesome - -all of 6 years old and wide open then stayed for adult class.  Then off to doggy spa (ie. petsmart) where little one was enjoying her time of beauty.  We have a furry little office dog, Ms. Roxy, that I share joint custody.  She is the sweetest little rescue and would not trade her for the world.  Time to go have some Roxy time then will hit it hard tomorrow.

Now I am focusing on my v sit ups more vigorously for the test.  I'm doing leg raisesa long with the sit ups to get prepared, and help with that.  The goal is for it to get easier each day betweenknow and then.  Need to focus on trying to do pull ups too.

Today I went to class and got a leadership credit. When I got home I was tired but I kept going and did my requirements.

Today I accidently fell into an ant pile, and I had to go to the office to get some anti-itch medicine. My friend also had to come because she accidentally stepped into an ant pile. Other than that, I had a good day at school, and when I got home, I did homework and requirements. I need to do some more sparring rounds to catch up, but other than that, I'm doing pretty well on requirements, too. I still need to get to work on essays, however, because I still have a lot of them to do. Tomorrow I'll try to get a little bit more on my essays, day by day, until I finish. I have a lot to do, but I'm getting it done.

Today I did a lot of extra requirements like 250 puch ups and sit ups. Also 50 bur-pees, 36 poom saes and 40 self defense. I also did 6 sparring rounds. In black belt class we worked on being able to take a hit. The front row of instructors and masters tried to fling there belts at us and we tried to slide back to miss it. After that we hit a bamboo stick with a round house kick. I tried kicking it as hard as I could,man that hurt!

Tonight I didn’t go to class, instead I stayed home and spent some time with my kids looking at old pictures.  It brought back lots of happy memories.  I needed to take a short break to see if I can shake this crude that I’ve picked up.  L  I’m still doing my requirements but I just don’t feel like I’m one hundred percent and I’ve got this annoying cough.  I will persevere!

Last Sunday the Panthers had a huge win against the NY Football Giants.  It was 38-0, I think it was our first shutout in Panther history.  On fantasy football Eli Manning, the Giants’ quarterback, got -.65 fantasy points.  I beat my uncle Aaron. We sacked Eli Manning 5 times in the first quarter and made them fumble the ball several times. 

today i woke up motivated to get a head start on my day because i knew i was going to be tired by the end of it. i got dressed, ate frosted mini wheats, waffles, bacon, milk, and a protein shake, i dont really change what i eat every day. i got packed up and went out to the bus, it was cold today so it was a long sleeves day. i slept on the bus like usual. in first block we worked some on kaffir boy but only got a little done because we worked on our water project most of the time, im already done so i just played on my phone and used it as free time. second block i was measured for my uniform finally and then we learned about the holocaust, how the nazis operated and thought, what i gathered is they were horrible people and...

today i went to black belt class when master Mitchell said we were ganna do some conditioning i was like ok but oooow did it hurt the part tat hurt was when we were sliding from the belts being whipped at us i got hit about 10 time only 2 hurt next we kicked the bamboo swords i just forgot the name it might sound like it hurt but not much but on his last kick Michael kicked it as hard as he could he was on the ground it was a fun class 

Today I went to the 4:45 class at KTMH. We worked on forms and self-defense so I got  a lot of requirements done. Today was a really good day for me. 

Does anyone know when the essays are due? The problem is I have some of the done but not all. I am starting to get worried about this because it is my first time one the cycle and it is kind of difficult to me.

Had an extremely long day today. Feeling really congested and I can hardly breathe. Didn't go to class tonight because I knew I wouldn't make it 15 minutes into class! Went to the doctor to see what was the big problem and they said it was just a bad cold. Hopefully it will pass before Saturday. Im getting really excited for what we are going to do, even though its going to be apparently in front of a few hundred of people. Still a little behind in Leadership classes but with my schedule they will be easy to make up. I need to finish learning my knife self-defense and my staff poomsae. Other than that I am prepared for testing and feeling confident in what I know. 

today i had church. i also tried to find Halloween costumes. we had a busy day. i found out today that im running a 5k with my mom on Saturday 

I really need to go running in the morning tomorrow. It helps to wake me up and get more energy. I know that probably doesn't make sense but it works for me. I have been running during recess and gym. I am really starting to be exhausted by 6 o'clock. I am really excited about the Kicks for Kids! I really want to see who will win the giant pandas!  

 today I did my resquments at my house.Also, I played at the park.

A colleague of mine at work had a set of TKD Encyclopedias she gave me.  She was going to take them to Goodwill. It turns out there are 15 ~300 page books written by General Choi!  There were also 5 paperbacks written by Jhoon Rhee!  Although all the forms are ITF, there's a lot of really good information about TKD in general, the history, philosophy, etc.  Here's one I had not seen yet:  the 9 training secrets of TKD.  I look forward to reading these!

starting from today i'm going to be journaling twice a day to get so in i also have to run a but extra but ahead on kicks push ups and sit ups 

Summer just ended yesterday...... It was not the best, I had to go through sweat, getting yelled at, being frightened and tears. It felt like I was the antagonist the whole summer but I was just trying to be the good guy. Then the homework and requirements come around and you barely have any time to do other stuff. Thats my bummer summer

It's actually good to be back on schedule afte my weekend off. I got a lot done today, especially in class. I realized that even if I'm stressed about things in school and at home, I kinda have to forget about it in TKD class, which is prob really good for my mental health in a way. I also got to see Baby Chin, she is soooooo cute :) And Master Chin looks awesome! Can't wait to see her back regularly. Also wish me luck on bluegrass club auditions tomorrow, yay!

Today I didn't do as many requirements as I usually do, but I still did some. At Dream team today, we worked on crescent kicks and then I did my mentor session with Madovan on his breaking kick: flying sidekick. I finished my homework when I got home, then I worked on requirements. I'm practicing for the AAU Tournament and hopefully I'll do well. On the kwans essay, I have a paragraph, but I still have a lot more to write and I still need to get to work on my essays since their due soon. I think I'm catching up on requirements, but I still have lots more to do to get more greens. Tomorrow I need to do a lot. 

Sunday was a complete day of rest. My toe is still very painful. I still can't wear a shoe. When walking barefoot or with sandals, I've learned to compensate so that I don't put any pressure on the toe when walking.  Ben had a baseball tournament in Morganton this weekend so we'd leave the house at 8:30am and got back at 5pm Saturday and 8pm on Sunday. Sunday I didn't think we'd be back so late, but the games went long with extra innings for tie breakers and such. And when I got home, I had to get groceries so the kids had food for lunch, we had milk, etc.  At 9pm I was home and decided I had worked ahead enough to just take the day off and go to bed. So today I was back at it.  Running is super painful and barefoot, and I really want this toe...

Today I woke up very tired and it was hard me to stay awake on the way to school.   After school I had practice for soccer.  I helped out with the little Tiger class today.  I also went to Dream Team.  I had a lot of homework and I was not able to get in a lot of requirements.

Today's school class schedule was all messed up because of map testing.  The cycle is starting to get annoying.  I now am doing extra jump rope and basic kicks and burpees.   Done with sparring rounds.   I'll be over when this is over, and I've got my new belt!

Great day at work then hi ho hi ho it's off to the dojang I go.  Got quite a few requirements in before work today then did as many as I could between helping in class then black belt class.  Best of all Master Chin is back!!!!  It was great seeing her & Emmy and they both look fantastic.  Well Master Chin looks like she did not even have a little one and the little one is as cute as a button.  Class was great tonight covered many different areas and I am just trying to stay focused on learning the new curriculum.  Baby steps I can not get it all at once.  I am getting there, it's slow but I will get it.  I do not know what was up tonight but was having a terrible time with back falls.  We did a bunch last week and I was fine...

Yesterday I went to the park with Lauren and Pierce and I got most of my requirements done.  Later I went to their pool and finished my requirements there.

Today was Monday all day long…It started with requirements, then work, then a mentee session, teaching Junior Tigers, a mentor session, and finished with requirements. I’d like to say a huge “Thank You” to my mentor for taking the time to mentor me one more time before he leaves for his trip!  I hope he enjoys his trip   I’ve got a lot of work to do while he’s gone.

today i had so much white rice. i had it for breackfast. i had it for lunch. and i had it for dinner. i am getting a little sick of eating white rice.

Watching football is very addicting so every break I do some of my pushups and sit ups

today i went to school and finished a ton of my stuff. yahhhhhhhhhhh. after that we went to ceative eg so i could here my brother play quiter.

today i went to leadership class and got anew mentee  because my old one wasn't coming  

today i woke up with what i like to call a "weekend hangover" where you are thrown off by getting 2 days in the weekend to get up and go to sleep when you want, it was bad and i hate getting up on mondays, but i did. i got dressed knowing it was going to be cold outside, then i had waffles, cheerios, bacon, milk, and a protein shake for breakfast, then packed up my stuff and went out the door. i slept on the bus and i dont even remember the ride to school. in first block we took a quiz on "kaffir boy", which i did well on i think, then spent the rest of class reading, we are really far into it now, halfway at least. second block we got dressed then went straight to volleyball on the tennis courts, we are playing in a tournament so...

we ran 16 400s today. for those who do not know what that means, it equals 4 miles on the track sprinting. i am very sore and tired haha. I am still behind on requirments because of the car issue but i am trying my best to get to classes. i am going Friday to talk to the coast guard recruiter so i will miss this saturday also:(. i am also talking to an air force recruiter and balancing AP classes.. i thought senior year was supposed to be easy haha. i am ready to graduate and go to basic training. 

Im extremely excited for class tonight at South Charlotte because Master Chin is finally back! The last time I saw her was weeks before the cycle even started. It will be so cool to hear all about Emerson and how she has been doing. My toe has still been an issue... Ever since I cut it opened in the Dominican Republic, it hasn't seemed to heal. Hopefully it will be fine by testing. 

So I didn't really get anything done today because I was lazy. The whole weekend hasn't been to good for requirements I guess because it's a vacation I feel entitled to relax. But I'll work hard to catch up now. It's got to say something about how often I'm on here by the fact that I automatically tried to log into my tumblr with info from this account. haha, oh well. I'm looking forward to this saturday's class.

i forgot to journal yesterday. i am about to kill myself. my eye got better from when it got hit by a basketball. but it still hurts when ever i touch it or do anything like that.

Today was a great.  I was feeling a whole lot better than yesterday.  I felt less congested because I did not have to take as many breaks. I got 4x my normal requirements.  I also got to play basketball at my old school.  I also had some time to watch TV.  I had homework to do and I had to read a book. 

Had a very low-key day and slept in late for the first time in weeks! This morning I worked on homework for a few hours, and then I did all of my requirements. Its really encouraging to see the numbers getting higher on the tracker and its always nice to do less and less requirements a day. Still have some things to get finished before yet another busy school day. Im really looking forward to tests in every class... 

Today I did a lot of requirements. I also got started on my kwans essay. I think I could get ahead if I keep doing a lot of requirements every day. I also need to get the book I want for my essay at the library. I went biking with my dad today around my neighborhood. I was really thirsty when we were done. I have a lot of essays to do, so I better do them next weekend. I need to do a lot of kicks to catch up and get ahead.

Today I went to my friends birthday party. It was fun because I got to play foot ball and soccer. And of course I had pizza and cake. The party was some what useful because I got some random acts of kindness done to! Well tomorrows school so I better enjoy the weekend while it lasts.  

Very busy day with requirements and domestics.  I am tired now and going to go study before turning in for the night.  I was pretty much back & forth all day on the carport doing requirements and in the house cooking & laundry.  I will say this, if I could do the test on my carport I would be good to go on the curriculum I know- - still a few things that are a work in progress.  As soon as I get on the mat, especially at North Charlotte, my mind runs wild and I start the delightful creative forms where I just mix it all together.  All in all very good day and even better the Panters won - -no grumbling in our house tonight.  The other half is not a good sport when his team does not win.  Looking forward to great week and even better next Saturday.

Dear people I am almost done with every thing and only need about 1,812 push ups and situps WHOOOOHOOOOO I hope every one else is doing well. We had a demo performance yesterday and bain daze and I think we did pretty good.  So the AAU is comming up and I am wondering if I should go or not. I have been reading all of your jurnal entreys and all of them are looking great.     Thanks for support---

Met at the park to do requirements....and went swimming today  

Today I went to the park with Jonathan and we did our requirements. Then him and his brother came over and swam with me and my brother.  It was a lot of fun. 

today i woke up at my friends house, last night we just played basketball outside until it was dark, then played alot of video games on his xbox, then we went to walmart with his dad to get food, then we watched a movie on netflix and fell asleep. when i woke up his mom had breakfast ready, which was awesome, then we played video games until it was time for me to be picked up. i went home, got changed, grabbed breakfast, then we left to go to Charlotte to park our car at the nascar hall of fame so we could walk to the stadium. i am both a Giants and a Panthers fan so i didnt really care who won but since it was a home game i was wearing panther attire. we got food and went to our seats, great seats, upper section of stadium, behind the...

What a beautiful day it was outside today!  It put a bounce in my step when I was doing my miles.  J  I felt better today and was able to knock out all of my requirements before lunchtime.  Then I spent some time with my kids, which I haven’t been able to do much lately.  I wonder sometimes if people realize when they sign up for the black belt cycle that their family kind of signs up too.  You have to sacrifice time with your family to get your requirements done, to practice your curriculum, and to attend all of the extra classes.  My family has to put up with my bad mood when the pressure becomes intense and my lack of patience when I feel like I’m running out of time.  L  If my family didn’t support me, there’s no way that I could complete the cycle.  I intend to...

Finally jump rope is complete. which means my new goal is sit ups. i will see if i can knock em out by next week. if i do then i will reward myself by taking 1 day off 

Today I am going to time myself on my requirements. I an really hoping to see an improvement from the last time that I did this. Yesterday I ran in the rain. I think that it feels better running in the rain because it cools you down. It keeps getting easier to run my mile and a half. I think that I am going faster than when the cycle started.

i just finished working on my white belt challenge. i am about to finish my five kwans essay . 

today i did everything before 11:00 and typed my empathy training i also answered some of my questions for the test 

Finally the day is over. I am so happy I get to go to sleep and tomorrow watch football and take a brake. Today was very fun and very exiting. The sparring class with Master Mitchell is awesome.

Another cool day in Chicago. We went to my cousins' Bar mitzvas. pretty cool and I opened the arc. Afterwards there was food and a magic show. The magician did card tricks, slight of hand, and mind reading. Very cool. Then for dinner we went to my cousins' house. Food was good and I got to go to the park across the street to do pull ups and poomsaes. I'm not ready to go home yet.

Today I had a computer class, so I didn't make black belt class.  I did get to sparring class, an have amentoring session with Master Mitchell.  I also finished my mission statement essay.  I didn't get to run today, and I'll have to pay for that tomorrow.   

I went to Black Belt class today. I always enjoy it and learn much. I am also inspired and encouraged to keep pushing in my Tae Kwon Do journey and other areas too. It is difficult to be discouraed around that great group of people. I realize that I need to work on the Wang Ho 1 & 2. I need to practice so much that when my outside concerns sneak in that I can not be distracted or mess up. I really appreciated Instructor Lloyd and Master Hartle's (both) help today. Thank you to Donna for being my partner  

I got up this morning, struggled through some pushups, situps, and burpees, and taught Little Tigers class.  After class, Inst. Dege and I went for a walk.  Since I wasn’t feeling well and I didn’t want to share my germs, I sat on the sidelines and watched BB class.  It’s was really tough to sit and watch, I kept wanting to participate. At times, I found myself going through the motions from the sidelines. After BB class was over, I went home, took some Advil, and took a nap!  I woke up feeling a little better.  I did the laundry and a few more requirements.  Since I slowed down a bit today, maybe I’ll be back to 100% tomorrow!

Today was a great day. I am felling a whole lot better than yesterday. But I am 70% better than what I was feeling yesterday. I could do my requirements without taking a break because I was congested. But I got through everything today so all I have to do is relax now. Today was awesome!

It is very close to the black belt testing and I am doing pretty good on every thing except for single stick form and hopceto self defense. I did another essay today so that means I only got 2 essays left and one of them I am doing tomorrow. Well I got to go see a movie because I got all my stuff done early! :-) 

Today went pretty well. I did a lot of requirements, and I'm done for today. Camille and I ran to the golf course and back. Last week I was barely green on poomsae, so I'm catching up fast. I may be able to finish early, but I really need to work on my essays. Tonight if I have some spare time, maybe I can do some research.

today i went to black belt and sparring Anthony was there :) but not for sparring it was fun i got a lot of stuff in but master Michel didn't come early enough to get a mentor session Grrr :( overall it was a good day 

yesterday my parents left me alone at the house to go to myrtle beach, so i have the weekend to myself. i woke up early because i was getting picked up to do community service at the Bain Daze festival at Fairview park. i got ready, got dressed, ate some cereal for breakfast, then grabbed my stuff and went to help out. i spent most of the time carrying things, setting up tents, the stage, the big tent, tables, chairs, and other things like coolers and bags of food. then i helped blowing up the inflatable soccer and basketball stations. the rest of the time i just worked at those letting kids play at each of them. i did see the KTMH demo team preform and they did good, my friends had only good things to say about them. once i was done i went home and mowed my neighbors lawn,...

i just finished with class and sparring. when we finished me and megan went to dairy queen. yahhhhhhhhh

Last night at dream team class we learned some new grappling moves.  The first move we learned was called the guard.  The way you do it is someone is going down trying to punch you, you lock your feet around their waist and then you have control of them because you have control of their hips.  We also learned another grappling move called the mount.  The way you do it is you get them on the ground, then you sit on top of their stomach and no matter what the person on the top has a longer arm.  It is really hard to get out of a mount position.  

im am really tarred to day. i went to a party last night and it was so much fun.

im about to go to class in about 2 hours. im going with megan. we might stay for sparring. my brother went to an ilectronic  class

Yesterday was not a productive day for requirements.  Had a great day at work, got home and the intention was to knock out requirements before going to class.  I sat down on the sofa for a minute just to unwind and next thing I knew - - sound asleep.  Well I guess my body was telling me something and nothing I can do about it now.  Went to Mint Hill and had a fantastic class.  I am going to get this hapkido down eventually - -for some reason 12 thru 20 is all running together.  Going to focus this morning on requirements then off to class at North Charlotte.  Have to leave after class to get my husbands tailgate stuff together but hope to be able to work even more requirements in for the afternoon.  Tomorrow night we have a 25th anniversary party so I have to be productive all day.

Today was the game truck night, at first we played dodge ball then the games. In the game truck I played mine craft and smash bros brawl. After that we played foot ball and started tackling each other. I was playing goalie with the ball in soccer and dived for the ball the person tripped over my face and now I cant feel my lip!

Wow, I forgot how cool chicago is. We arrived last night and today we went into the city. We toured the field museum and went shopping on the magnificent mile. My favorite exhibit was the one on bioluminescence, I learned a lot. We also went through exhibits on the pacific region and ancient egypt. For shopping I got to go to a big forever 21 store and a cool candy shop. Its hard getting requirements done and I'm pretty sure I'll get behind this weekend but it should be easy to make it up when I get home. Same for homework. Maybe  I can write an essay on the way back. 

Today I had black belt class at Lake Norman.  I learned Wang Ho 2, and 1st Dan self defense.  Now I know what I've been doing wrong and what I need to do.  I need to stop bending my back leg on a front stance.  Tomorrow I have computer class, then sparring class.  Had tutoring early this morningbefore school, so I couldn't finish all my physical requirements.  Came home and startedmission essay.  

Today I went to black belt class and we worked on hapkido 11-20.  I hope we work on it again so I can get the practice.  

So far I only have 18 more of these and am almost done with every thing else I am writteng this at 10:00 at night but I need to finish these we onky have 27 days left so go strong.

Today I did a lot of requirements. I need to do sparring rounds and jump rope rounds and kicks and I'm almost done with meditation. I'm going to try to finish walking/running early, too.  Tomorrow is the weekend, so I'll need to catch up a lot. I'm going to do a lot of research for my essay on the kwans, my essay on the white belt challenge, and check out my book for my book-reading essay, too.

today i was playing basketball with my friends. in the middle of the game i tried to catch the ball that my friend through to me. i missed the catch and it hit me in thet eye. i had to go home because i couldn't see.

Today I helped about at KTMH 5:45 class and got my leadership credits and got ,y leadership credits for the day. Then I took black belt class and we went over hapkito  and some kicks. It is kinda fun getting thrown a lot. When I first started Tae Kwon Do I would have hated it but now I like it.   TGIF EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!

today at black belt class I did Hopkito self defense forms and staff form.  

Well I had soup for dinner – what does that tell you?  Yep, I’m not feeling well.  I’m stuffy, coughing, and I’m freezing.  Luckily, I did my requirements this morning before work.  So, I’m just resting and eating soup! My plan was to get a flu shot tomorrow so I wouldn’t get the flu before/during testing.  Oh well.  I should mention to everyone – if you’re training hard and not sleeping much – your immunity system is compromised.  L  Please make sure to take care of your health while you’re training.  Get strong and stay healthy!

Wow! I can't believe that it is the end of day 53! I just had my last mentor session yesterday. I really appreciate all of the help that Master Cavazos has given me and everything that he has taught me. I hope that I can get at least one more meeting in before testing. I also want to thank all of the instructors who have helped me to learn my curriculum! I am so excited about testing but nervous too. 

Today a baby came into black belt class and he was adorable.  I had no idea that Master Hartle was a grandfather, I thought he was just a father.  I got to poke his stomach and play with his feet.  Master Hartle's son that came into class with the baby used to teach me TKD classes, I completely forgot about that.  

Today was very relaxing. Did what was only needed for requirements and didn't force myself to go overboard. I had the opportunity to volunteer at a nearby Elementary School for my IB community service. It was amazing to see how much fun the children were having while reading books and playing on the computers. Now all I need is 39 more hours to be done... Tomorrow at Black Belt class I have heard we are getting the details to the demo thats being done at Freedom Park. Super excited to see what were going to be doing. 

The end is so close I am so stressed with school so I am very happy. After this Is over I am going to take three year long nap:) so I can relax.

today was just a normal day  except its FRIDAY all that really happened was i ran a  mile before and after school and did my requirements    

I overdid it yesterday. My toe was throbbing again last night and kept me up half the night. So I tried to be more careful and take it easy today. I hate all these requirements hanging over my head. It stresses me out. So I tried to do less that causes pain in my toe, but I'm so driven to get this stuff done that I prefer to be mentally tough and ignore the pain. It wasn't easy to stop walking after 3/4 of a mile, but I did. Sit ups and push ups don't hurt it at all so I will try to make up for the lack of miles with more of those. 

Yeah it is Friday. I am also glad because I am feeling stronger. I still don't have much of an appetite but it is improving. I know I need to eat to have fuel to do requirements so I am trying to make the best choices to do so. I am really looking forward to Saturday Black Belt class as always but especially since I missed class last night at South Charlotte.  

Today I went to the first Ridge Road Ravens football game. It was interesting but I had to miss Mock Trials. I was pretty mad about that because you can only miss one practice. Anyways while I was waiting for my parents after school (I did not know that I was going to Mock Trial Today), I started walking around and apparently I got in a mile, plus a half mile for walking around this morning. Then I went to Tae Kwon Do, (Don't ask me who won because I left early). At Tae Kwon Do we worked on self defense, so I need to practice it, ALOT! Then I went home, finished my requirements and did my homework. Who knew this could be so hard because I have a ton of homework and a TEST TOMMOROW! On top of that my legs are really sore from working hard in Black...

Today I was at TKD for 3 hours doing requirements  and some extra! Also I did my men-ti meeting. We worked on rolls self defense and hook kicks. After that I had black belt class. We worked on self defense so we could memorize them for the black belt test. When I got home I had to play the cello for 30 minutes.

Had projects for school to do, so I'll need to go to black belt class in lake Norman tomorrow.  Did my homework and some extra physicals.   My push ups are definitely getting easier.  The cycle is not easy, trying to find time to get it all done.

Today I made my first cartoon.  It was called MAGIC!  My friends and I play a card game called Magic and I love it.  I did a fantastic job on the cartoon drawings and it had a great story line too.  I was so excited to bring it home and show my parents.  I tucked it safely away in my jacket, then I lost my jacket and my lunch box after lunch!  I looked everywhere and it did not show up!  I hope to find it at school tomorrow, it made me really sad.  

Today I went to class and I got a lot of my push up and sit up requirements done.  I was planning on going to black belt class but I was tired so I decided to stay home and work on my requirements.
