Candidate Journals

So today was a go go day at work, got home and worked no a car, made dinner, and was a happy to get a little requirements in not as  many as I wanted. But still ok.

After a mentor session today,   The saying came to my mind that I have seen before. If you do not balance your way first then your movers are flower fists and silky legs.

Was going to take the day off on requirements and work on a car. But got some in after I found out the auto parts store sold me the wrong part????‍♂️.  Hopefully you don't have the right part tomorrow.

Leader ship is not about being the best, Leader ship is about making everyone else better.

Worrying is a waste of time. It doesn't change anything,  it just messes with your mind and steals your happiness. ????

Enjoy the little things in life. Because one day you'll look back and realize they were the big things.????

Sometimes the bad things that happen in our lives,  put us directly on the path to the best things that will ever happen to us. O and there I a big football game on tonight. 

Tonight I decided to take the night off from doing requirements, Instead I did some cooking and enjoy the time off.  My ankle and knee should be happy , rest time.

Let it snow,let it snow,  let it snow. Well ok it only snow for about 15 min or so today. No need to buy   Bread or milk.

When someone helps you and they're struggling too, that's not help, THATS LOVE. ????

Had a good day , got a little  tired towards the end of the evening. Will go to bed early.

I've been sweating it through the last few days about getting a truck inspected, I  Had till the end of the month To get it done. I get to the place and they tell me my truck is old and it doesn't need inspection anymore.????‍♂️

Got up today and was   Hoping to get some things done. After I got to were I need to be , o MAN its Sunday.????????????????

Had a good , felt bad I didn't get a journal in yesterday.  Had a  Senior moment last night and fell asleep.

Good day , got some miles in ,could have gotten a few more in , but did not want to over do my knee.

Had a pretty good day at work , got some miles in, body is feeling a lot better than last 2 days,

Can you say COLD COLD, did not help the body at work to day. Still a little sore from yesterday . ????????????

After working on my deck in the COLD,  Which I was happy it wasn't rain again today. Found it a little hard to do the requirements,  but got them in one step at a time. ????

Day 30 ,  and half ways there.  If I keep feeling good and on top of things I hope all will be done by day 60.

Well after the weather was in the high sixties and low seventies Last week, today was a reality check,  Yes is January and cold again. 

Had a good mentor Session with two mentees  today. But note to myself will start next time after 5:00 PM,  Kidsssssss. ????????????????????????????.

The  Force is with me. I got home  Something inside of me said go to the backyard, I looked around and saw that the gutter guys came and put new gutters on the back of my house. Happy happy.  But never did get the call saying they were coming. O well.

The Body was feeling a little like ,[ not today ]. So I said ok we will take it slow. Still got  Those requirements in.????

Had a good day, a good black belt class and a good time with my mentees.

Rain , rain ,rain, ok I will take that over ice or snow.  But I thought it was  April showers bring may flowers. Not January showers.????‍♂️????‍♂️????‍♂️

Sunday . It was a nice  Warm day  for January. But every thing is still to wet . Had a good  Down poor lass night. 

What awesome day,   Having the opportunity to spend a few hours with grandmaster Lee,.????????????

Was able to get some walking miles in today.????‍♂️????‍♂️????‍♂️ looking forward for tomorrow  Session with Grandmaster Lee.

Good  day at work.???? got home and felt good doing my requirements.  ????????????️‍♂️????️‍♂️

Cold hard day at work, it was ok when the sun was on us, then the wind came. ???????????????? took  Most of my energy out of me today.

Was happy it stop raining,  was able to get my walking in. Also happy I got to see my mentees tonight, we have alot to go over.????

Some days it feels like there is not a  Enough time in the day. Well it will all work out. One step at a time.

What does one do when it's too cold to go outside in the morning. They do extra sit UPS and push UPS ????????????

Was going to take the day off on the  Requirements. But decided I need to do some . Cut back on push up & sit up. ????‍♂️

Was happy to get a few miles of walking in before it started to rain today. It was a little ruf on the knee , I think the  Weather had a factor.????‍♂️

Had a good day at work  Even snuck in   a 1/2 hour of overtime . Went in to the Do Jang to see if any of my mentees were coming in to help. Only one ? Miss Rachel, ????. 

Happy new year. Well at work it was a long hard day. I was going to take the night off, but the cycle is the cycle and I can not start the year that way. Maybe Saturday.

What a beautiful day, Was able to get some  more painting done outside and do some of my requirements on the cycle.????????????????

Was happy the rain slowed down.  Was able to get some painting done on my new deck cover. And still had time to get in some cycle stuff.

What a beautiful day,  enjoying the nice weather for December.  The only thing I wish is the sun would stay out for at least one more hour.  O well summer will be here soon.

First week is in the book, got to say it was a nice day today, for December.  But looks like rain on my days off. O will all we can do is smile and do  More requirements.

Staying positive doesn't mean you have to be happy all the time.  It means that even on hard days you know that there are better ones coming.

Merry Christmas  to all,  if you are like me I took the day off from the cycle .enjoy the day. But I did feel bad. 

The day before Christmas,  still doing  Requirements, Trying to knock off all the cookies I ate do day.  Wishing everybody a merry Christmas.

Day off , rainy day ,do requirements. Enjoy the warmth of the inside of the house. 

I must  say being on a cycle is always a challenge for me,  But the old saying goes what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Yes it dose.  I have lost a notch and a 1/2 on my belt, Which I am hoping to stay there. But what I've learned from taekwondo is always challenge yourself to be your best. I would like to think master Evins for  challenging us. And  Most of all for the credits form  Instructor's camp.

This is my Monday at work, And what a Monday, Went to Jack the nose of an airplane, Went through 3 jacks that did not work, On the last Jack the did not work we had to jacket it by hand. The air pump on a Jack was broken ,myself and another mechanic had a good workout jacking it by hand.????️‍♂️????️‍♂️????️‍♂️

Had a awesome morning with  school owners and masters. G M Evins gave us a awesome  workout. Thank you sir.

Got up this morning and saw it was going to rain. O will  Start knocking out some requirements, Do some laundry and do some shopping. Then on rain . Ok do the  Yard work.   A good day.

Had a easy day at work. But the clock on the wall  Seem like it wasn't moving at all. 

Good day ,nice and cool. Good day to get in some miles. Had to go a little slower on the last mile. 

What a big difference from yesterday weather, One day I'm sweating the next day I'm looking for a sweatshirt to put on. Felt good about doing my requirements today.

DAY OF REST. Had a  Very wet day at work today. Water was coming out of the hole body. From head to toe. Got home cooked dinner for Chris and I,  then sat down and a  Hour later Still have my dinner in my hand.????????????????????☺️

This may be Thursday for most but it's my Monday at work. Didn't get as many miles as I wanted to, But still got some in. When I got home today started on my requirements  The body was a little slow on doing things but got through it.????‍♂️????️‍♂️

Good day,was able to get some work done outside, not to hot. 

Rain, rain, On your day off brings requirements, 2hr doing  Jump rope and sparring and to ice packs on the knee. Next 2 hours ding sit UPS push UPS and some burpees, then outside doing  Lawn work.????????????

Yes still HOT. But had a good day.  Didn't get my 3th mile in today but that is ok, got some  Extra sit UPS and push UPS in today. Will work on jump rope and sparing tomorrow. ????️‍♂️????️‍♂️????️‍♂️????️‍♂️

Hot hot hot, water water water,  It was one of those days again today. I would like to thank the men that put the new air conditioning units in our office last year.  Thank you ,thank you.????????????????

Another hot day at work but had it lot easier today. Was able to get my requirements in And added a few more set ups and some pushups.

Had all intentions of coming home today AND doing my requirements.  But ended up staying at work for an extra 3 hours to finish a job. By the time I got home the body said NO , NO , NO.  The heat and the job got to ti. Big REST DAY.????  

Work was  another hot and muggy day.  Glad the South has air conditioning.  Tonight I want to support a friend in her family, My heart weighs heavy for them.????

My day started off with a lot to do then I got some real sad news  From a friend ,my heart in weighing heavy for her. So sometimes you think things are so important then you realize they're not.

Hot day at work , took a little  Bit out of me. Water, water  Stay hydrated. In all and all it was a good day.

Wish I could  Count some of the stuff I do at work as requirements.????‍♂️  Oh well. Was thinking about taking it light today,  so I up my sit ups and push ups.????‍♂️????

The body needed some rest today got up this morning to go to work only felt about 75%.  Start off doing my walk at work today it end up being a slow walk. Then after  lunch I felt a bit better and got some miles in.????‍♂️????‍♂️????‍♂️????‍♂️

Today I feel blessed and humble I got quite a few cards from the summer camp kids saying Happy birthday.  The made them a few days a go,   But I kept forgetting to pick them up and finally did today.  But brought joy to my heart and make my eyes leak.????

Had a good day at work,  Had a stop on the way home to pick up apart from my old car Got home late but still got my requirements in even after cooking dinner from my wife.

I was excited about a part I order today was showing up then I was  Disappointed when I got it. You can't go by the  Picture you see on a website,.????????‍♂️????

Long day . Did a lot of yard work,  wishing I could count  That as part of my requirements.????????‍♂️ Had a awesome black belt class , kicks kicks ,????

Had a good day at work, had to do some rework on my wife's car again , thing I got a bad part. Will see tomorrow how it runs. Had a good pmaa class tonight,  thank you sir.

Good day knee is feeling better.   Back on track on my requirements. Was  hoping  to do some work on my old car , but had to order some more stuff .????

Today I was planning to take a rest day. But still need to do some  Requirements. Got up this morning and the knee was not in a good  way , had to slow my walk down , hope it's better tomorrow. ????‍♂️

Had a very good day for a for a man that is getting older. Even went on line and   Bought a new engine from my old car.????????

Had a good day at work.  When I got home and got the mail i was not too happy , taxes are due on the house ,they went up again.????????????????????

Had a good mentor session with master Evans today, Was able to get some extra requirements in. Started to tear down the engine on the card in order some parts for it. Have a good day.

Was able to get in some extra requirements in today. I know I will be taking Saturday off. Will try to get some more In tomorrow.  Always trying to stay ahead.

Had a nice day. At work was a light day.  Got home and get my requirements done,  Did the adult class, And the PMAA class. Good day. .

Did not think I was going to get  My requirements in today. Got home and started to work on my wife car.    Dealerships wanted over $2200 to fix her car, For $250 I believe I got everything done, we will see. I  dislike like dealerships.

Went a little light on the Requirements , need to rest the body and had some stuff I need to  catch up on. May even have to do go light tomorrow,  will see. 

Fun morning at work , ever two years we have to renew are airport ID , 60 days before we get a new one ,  We go through a background check through TSA homeland security, and have to have her finger prints done. Ok 7.20  Appointment  It used to take about 30 minutes. Today almost 2 hours and I had a take a test to drive on the ramp. ????

Today Seemed like a long day for me. Thursday's always seem like a long day , it's my Monday at work. At least the weather was nice today.

Nice cool morning  After all that heat last week. Had an awesome Training day with master Evans, Whenever some things that needed to be straightened out ,Thank you sir.

The day started off not happy , but do the right thing and let it go. Started working on rebuilding the engine on a good car,  No rush just taking my time.????‍????????‍????????‍????

Had a good day, the body is doing good , had to miss class tonight,  I didn't like that , but I needed to help  The economy out.????????????????

Will I made it to work today in my old 1988 Ford truck, was I  Worried that It was not going to make it YES.  Looked at some new cars $$$????????

O yes a good day. It is how you look at things. Yes the car had a bad day. And yes I try to bring it back to life, but it's old and needs some rest. 

Went light on requirements,  was a little low on energy,  worked in the heat,  then left work to say good by to a good man and coworker.   Semper fi brother.

Had a good day. Feeling good. Yes it was HOT  But making sure I drank plenty of water.    Hoping  to up my walk tomorrow to 3 miles.

Nice easy day, had a good Mentor session with Master Evins, came home and did some yard work.  YES IT WAS HOT. Then did some of my requirements, would have done more jump ropes , but the knee must have read my post yesterday it said no no, so I snuck in some burpees.

My day off, so i wanted to do as many rounds of jump rope but didn't work out the way I wanted it. My knee let me know who the boss was, so I will try tomorrow but don't tell my knee.

Today's walk had a nice cool breeze before the Heat came. The good thing was myself and my work partner today was finish by 12. But that does make the last 3 hours of work long before we clock out to go home. The AC in the office sure did feel good though.

Long day at work in the heat. Had to take a small brake befor I started my requirements,  didn't get as many as I would like. But this ice cream I am having now make it all better. 

Will they say thing come in Three , I hope that is true.  Some more sad news at work. On a up note I think I am getting in to a routine with my requirements.  Come home , pull ups, sit ups, push ups , kicks , and not to happy BURPEES..

Need to get more miles in , knee was doing good today. As long as I remember to take my pill in the morning.  My jump roping is not all the good , But  I will get there. Saw a post on the KingTiger page smile, smile, smile. 

To day ,at work started off on a sad day. Last week a coworker of 28 year  left us, yesterday we lost a good man again,  sad,sad, .

Enjoyed this weekend was able to get my garden ready for planning. And was able to let my mind have a rest ,there is nothing like working in the dirt with your hands and taking your mind off everything else. But today it was back to business and for the next few days.

Had a very productive two days. Finding got my old truck fixed , yes it may have cost me around 150.00. But it save me in the long run. Now if I can get another 27 years out it ,OK may be 7 I will be happy. The most enjoyable day was yesterday , went from ONE password at work to 5 passwords. How I remember the days when we never had any. The good old days.

What a beautiful day , was able to get my tax's done. How much I love that. Then a TKD class at lunch. Then was able to mow my lawn ,my neighbors lawn and a common area. Then TKD and PMAA tonight. Now tomorrow this all about truck time and save myself from buying a new / used truck.
