Today i woke up and did my requirments. Then i got home and ate. I almost forgot to do my journal today but i luckily remembered. Tomorrow i have school so bye bye weekend. I'm getting better at jumproping everyday. I need to see my mentee more. My favorite part of today was jumproping. I got some of my written test done today, planning to work on that this week. Okay i'm done now.
So today I got up did some requirements and then went to mass and then got the rest of the way packed up and we got in the car and started driving to the beach We go to sunset Beach So that's not outer Banks but like closer inward. But it's still like a 4-Hour drive but when we got there we unpacked and then went for a walk on the beach and barbecue for dinner and went for a walk on the beach and then we went home. We had dessert and then I started journaling and that's where I am right here
Today was a different type of day first I woke up at my friends house to be greated with a delicious breakfast. then we went home and relaxed went to daveand busters and I surprisingly I won 2,163 tickets and bought some wireless headphones. then came home had dinner and had some cake.
Today I woke up and did my requirements to taekwondo. Then went on a run and did my chores. Then I my mom checked my essay Then I finished it!! Then I went to a book sale and did that for my Community service essay so that essay next!!! Then I went to the grocery store. Then watched a movie. Then I went to the pool and hung out with my friend. Then I did LEGOs. Now I am done for the day!!! GOOD NIGHT!!!!
Hello everyone, today was a really good day for me because I did lots of fun things. First thing that I did was go to church and pass the sacrament. But something else happened, we were able to bring Zayne back to our house because he goes to the same church as us. We went home and we went on a walk that was five miles, we saw all crazy things and Zayne picked up a turtle. We also saw this wasp nest right over our head that was filled with wasps, and we also peed in a river under a bridge. Then we went home and had lunch and then we taught Zayne how to play DND and we had a fun campaign. Then, Zayne's dad came and we all had dinner, then when they left we watch stranger things. bye.
Today we went to Church and after we went and walked five miles so me and Jack are almost done with miles for the week. Zayne was walking with us and he came home and we made him a DnD character and played a campaign. After that we ate dinner and talked then Zayne went home and we finished the first episode of the third season of Stanger Things just now and that's it, bye.

Today I woke up walked four miles which was very tiring and then I took a break and then I wrote another essay then I stayed at my grandparents house for the day then my parents and sister came over to have dinner there and right before dinner I did my requirements.
For some reason, I feel like I need another day or two this weekend. Got my requirements done early this am. I've been working on side kicks and trying to make them beautiful, and I feel like I had a little breakthrough today, well, yesterday, actually. I'm also feeling a little more confidant with tornado kicks, but they're still definitely not beautiful. I managed to get to the pool for an hour today between a bunch of Whole Foods delivery shifts. It was nice to just lay on my raft and close my eyes for a little while.
Today nothing really eventful happened. I went to birkdale, shopped around, bought nothing. Some school stuff arrived off of amazon because school starts the 26th where I live.
I woke up, ran over a mile and did my requirements. Then I came inside and ate breakfast. Then I went to poomsae class - it was fun and we did stretching. At home we had lunch and had a face-off lacrosse practice. It was fun. I just had my dinner - it was a normal Sunday.

My first week of high school was definitely different compared to what I thought it was going to be like, but it wasn't bad at all. Happy Sunday Today I slept in for the first time in weeks. Normally, I get up, go to the park with some other blackbelts, work on poomsaes, self defense, ect. I needed a day to just chill. I've been overly sore and need a day to decompress. It was well deserved.
Today since it was Sunday I didn't really do much, I did go to church and had a really good sermon. After I just hung out and then went to Harris Teeter so that my mom could pick a few things up. Then we went home and I just chilled and did some requirements and just hung out. I am waiting for my dad and brother to get back from Colorado, their land time is 7:45 ET so they should be back soon.

I am back to work tonight so I had to use my time wisely. Since I am back in school, I alternated my time between requirements and reading. Both classes, AI Fundamentals and ML Computation, are pretty interesting. They are online so I think I can swing this. The requirements get me moving so no prolonged sitting. I had gotten a little behind on my tracking and was able to update that. Soon, it will be time for my nap. Have a good "rest of your Sunday". I'm out!
Good morning, I have to journal bright and early since my first twelve hour period of digital detox starts soon. Yesterday I went to Black Belt class, got a class assistance credit, and a mentee session. Later that day we went to a friends house to swim. Then I watched a movie with my dad. I'll see you tomorrow.
Saturday- got up and went to blackbelt class, I felt good, but I’ve bruised my shoulder doing rolls and falls I think. I seem to always have some ache or pain during this cycle, I need to stop complaining! Saturday night my wife and I went downtown and had a nice dinnner and saw a play. It was a really good time. We don’t get out much!
Today I took black belt class early, and did some requirements. After that I ran some errands and worked on my essay, I did my german and practiced my kickes before bed.

So I woke up and we to black belt class. We worked On self defenses today. We had a mentor session after class. We did some self defense. I went to my best friends pool today. I think we played for about 4 hours. I put on sunscreen but it did not work today. I got sunburnt on my nose and cheeks. After I left we had to get ready to get ready for the panthers preseason game against the jets. Of course we lost. So we had to take the train of same back to the car. It felt like it took forever to get home. Now you are all caught up on my happens today.
Today I woke up and went to class and after class I mentor session. We worked on my second don self defense. I came home and ate breakfast. We then went to the Davidson farmer market and picked up some blackberries. The I went to go get the boat with my dad. But the boat trailer was flat. Luckily some at the storage lot had an air compressor to fill the tires and come home. Once we got home. I helped my dad clean the boat. I had to clean some mold and algae off the seats. It has been in storage for about 2 years. We then went to the Panthers game. They lost 15 to 6.
I went to black belt class this morning. We practiced Bocho self-defense and Grandmaster Evins emphasized using the crescent kick and also the correct shoulder to use during a roll. I do not like rolls even though I have gotten better (they were really bad!), but I know I have to practice them. My right side is better though I am left-handed. Afterwards, I assisted with Junior Tigers and had a mentoring session. Goodnight 😴💤!
Black belt class was focused more on self-defense today. Mostly bocho 1-steps but it was good practice. Went home, did some cleaning, and moved onto requirements.
I know it may seem silly to everyone else, but for some reason it really bothers me when the grass gets tall. Not like a quarter inch too long tall, I'm not worried about that. Weirdly enough, I just really dislike the idea of walking out in the yard in the morning to check the garden areas and having the grass so long it wets my shoes and socks with dew or rain, then you get wet feet. I also realized while mowing that one of the rose bushes I bought and thought was a hybrid tea is a climbing vine, so I need to get it supported somehow. Working backwards in the day, I made fried chicken sandwiches for dinner. Because of all my food allergies/sensitivities I don't eat out much, and it's gotten a bit more restrictive due to the food challenge Mark took on so we don't lot...
We got up this morning and, despite being sore and tired, got ready to head out for Black Belt class. On the way dropping our eldest off at work, we got stuck watching a massive truck convoy heading to the small track across 29 from Charlotte Motor Speedway. By time we finally got down to class, warmups had already started. Even so, we still got a good workout in and alternated between kicks and BoCho Dan One-Step. Once class let out, we had a mentoring session and worked on our Hapkidos under the watchful eye of Master Cavazos. After that, we practiced rolling and falling while we waited for Gabe's mentee to finish up with helping Junior Tigers. By time they had finished up, we realized we were the last ones left in the dojang and weren't certain if we should leave - and then the first of the Muay Thai...
Hello everyone, today I had a bit of a small sleep, at least I think I had a small sleep because when it is not Black Belt Cycle I sleep in on Saturdays. I went to class and got it checked off and I had fun, I helped with sweeping off the mat. Then I went home and did my exercises and my walk, then after waiting forever, I was finally able to play and beat this level on Hitman. I eventually beat the first game and it was super cool, I think that agent 47 is really cool. Then I went grocery shopping with my dad and my brother, we went to Aldi's and Food Lion and then went home. Then me and my brother and my dad got popcorn and watched Stranger Things, and now I am here. I hope everyone had a good day.
today i went to bbc in the morning and got there late because of a blocked road. then i got home made breakfast and watched my siblings. after that i went to my friends house to play video games like fortnite and call of duty. then i got home and had chinese food for dinner. then went to my friends house to play basketballl, and now im going to gop sleep.

This morning I went to Saturday black belt class for different paddle kicks and Bocho self-defense. I feel like I'm nailing my rolls and fall portion for #4 of the self-defense. When I got back, I did more requirements, read my book, did chores around the house and played games.

Exchange student whom will be with us for a year. She is Laia and from Barcelona, Spain. She will be at Hopewell High with Nate. We are so very excited for her. Then we did a bunch of requirements. While at TWD today I did my requirements for today and the ones I missed yesterday because I attended a birthday party. Just the little I had to make up I can see why they stress “Do Not Get Behind.” I also changed the time I ran today so I could have a sleepover with my friend. It was mid-day. I was hot and sweaty. It was a rushed day, but I am excited to hang out with my friend.
Today I woke up to go to work at King Tiger Harrisburg with just Master knight because my dad and brother are in Colorado for a vacation. It was a very good day for classes, everyone did well and we all had a blast. After that I went out to eat with one of my friends, we went to Silver Lake Ramen. It was amazing food. After I went home did the rest of my requirements and just chilled for the rest of the day.
Today I went to black belt class and then helped with the other classes then I did most of my requirements there leaving me very tired and sweaty then I went home and did the rest of them.

I wnet to the black belt class, and helped out in the next class. Got my requirements done in batches today, between going to the farmer's market, going sparkling water shopping- we were getting dangerously low, starting a ferment of peach reapers, apocalypse peppers and bulgarian carrot peppers. Also put a bunch of cucumbers in vinegar, and roasted beets. Trying not to waste any vegetables from the garden this year. They grow faster than we can eat them. I've probably already said this, but I'm really lucky to have my son, Dylan doing this cycle with me. He's wonderful to practice with, and he's very motivating when I sometimes feel like being lazy.

Then we had to pick up Caleb after we dropped Elise off and then we had to go get a Elise ! Got up this morning and went to blackbelt class. We zoomed in with KT of Lake Norman. We also had some visiting KT students. Lots of kicking, and we practiced bochodon self defense. We also did some poomsaes. After blackbelt I have my JT class. 4 students came. The l8ttle ones can sometimes be a challenge...LOTS of energy! I came home and rested for a bit. I planned on starting my essays, little hard yo do when your laptop is at school. So I will hand write my ideas and thoughts, then type the essays Tuesday. 🙃
So today me and Jack are going to Black Belt Class today, but after I have work and when I get home from work, I need to help my mom with redoing our laundry room. We want to put the tile in today but I don't really want to help but I will anyway because my mom does so much for me I have to return the favor. I feel really good about my kicks, I think my balance and height are really good. But I can work on my speed, and I can also work on putting my foot behind me because I haven’t been practicing that much.
Today was a great day to get some credits done, because there was only 1 very short class today. After class I did some more work on my forms and kicks before taking a nap and doing my german.
Walked all morning on campus for an assignment today and had an overall sleepy day. Going to get some good sleep over this weekend hopefully as I catch up on my requirements.
This Friday I did some requirements before heading to taekwondo in the afternoon. In black belt class we did our specials for our belt, and when we finished for the day I went home to do more of the requirements I didn't get to finish on. Gonna get rest for class in the morning. Goodnight.
This has been a weird day. I got most of my physical requirements done before 5pm but I've been really winded all day. My asthma's really been acting up or something. Tonight was the first Friday night sparring class. I really like knowing I don't have to go to class on Fridays or Sundays but this is just for the Cycle - assuming we don't keep going afterwards. It was a good class, though, and being done relatively early is nice as opposed to getting home as late as we would on Thursdays. Unfortunately, there was a massive amount of traffic on 49 just outside Harrisburg so we detoured home. Gabe made an amazing dinner and then we worked on Self Defenses and Poomsaes. But for now, it's time for bed because 8:15 comes far too fast on Saturday mornings.
Woke up feeling extra tired today, I had an overall okay day. I felt so listless the entire day, school dragged on for what felt like 12 hours. I'm not accustomed to sparring class being on Friday now, that probably just added to the dragging.

Only jogged 1 mile this morning as my ankle was bothering me and i knew i had to do two classes back to back this evening. Good classes from master Knight, Black Belt and Sparring.
Today I woke up and went for a easy run. I zoned out for most the run, which was fairly enjoyable. I then came home and did a few things I needed to do. I then went and got my allergy shots. I followed that up by doing some school work, then requirements, and finished my day by going to black belt class.
Due to the schedule change at the school, sparring is now in Friday. Mark commented that we are now at the school six days a week with one class or another. At least my book is getting inked up, so that's a good thing. I'm going to try and get the site updated tomorrow with everything I've written down in the book. With one thing or another I just haven't found the time to get it all transferred from the book to the site. I also need a cook and a maid so I have time to work on requirements and guitar. Practice has taken a back seat unfortunately, so I haven't had time to do my music homework in like two weeks. I still have poomsaes to work on with Mark tonight. I've gotten like 7-10 seconds in my creative form done, but truth be told I'm not real happy...

Tonight I attended a friends birthday. I got to see all my classmates from elementary school. I am doing my requirements late tonight. I plan on doubling up the requirements I was not able to get done. I am ahead on my miles, so I will run 2 miles tomorrow for what I was not able to run today.

today I got up early for school, I went to school but today was a little bit different for me, because we had a school opening year event. It's just the 7th-12th graders that could go and we did like a field day type thing. We played a bunch of games like volleyball and pickleball, cornhole and more fun things. We even swam in the lake there. Then after that I went out to eat with my mom for dinner at Grounds and Vines, which is always great food, and now I'm just chillin for the rest of the night at my house.
Today I went to black belt class. we worked on red and high red self defense. after class I had a mentor session with master Natasya. For dinner I had chick fil a. I got a cookies and cream milk shake.

Today i woke up late because my alarm didn't work and got ready for my 4th day of school. After scholl i went to afterschool and did my requiroments. I got a mentor session in and a sparring credit. Day 6 of my nutrition challenge i think and its gone well. I haven't messed up... yet. Okay i'm done now.

When I got home I cleaned up, listen to some Shaboozey to before my class(its my get focused and prepare to be sore for four hours). Even with the workouts at there max, I still did fine. It's the end of the 5th week. My mentee was not at king tiger when I arrived, which means I need a new mentee. I'll message Master Evins this weekend. I had sparring tonight...I actually had fun. Granted, I'd rather be able to relax a little on a Friday night, but it's ok. Off to shower and bed
When I woke up this morning, I felt pretty good overall. Later on, I noticed pain in my right pectoral muscle and I tried to stretch it out which did not help....probably made it worse. I think it must be the burpees I did in Muay Thai last night (the last straw) on top of my other requirements. When I sneezed, I realized it was worse than I thought....intense shooting pain through the right chest muscles. It took my breath away. I will not be doing any pushups or burpees today. You do not know what muscles you use until it is time....I needed help opening the ibuprofen bottle! I still feel a twinge, but I am much better. I gotta to work tonight and black belt class in the morning. Have a good one!
Made it through a tough week. Work has been busy, and requirements are getting more challenging, but I'm manageing to stay close to caught up. Planning on a mentoring session tonite, folowed by rolls and falls, and then black belt class.
Thursday- Got up and did the standard 2 miles with Abigial and the dog. We really are getting that down and decreasing our time. It was a fairly stressful day at work, which hopefully means Friday will be better and more calm. I got through about half of my requirments before work and the other half at lunch, work from home days really make this much more achievable! Tonight was sparring, which I enjoy but I am always amazed how much energy those short rounds take up. Friday I should be on schedule with everything, got to get 3 miles in and try to catch up on some planks and pull ups. I know we are almost halfway- it's feeling more achievable!
Climbing! Ran 3 miles in 25minutes today. Practiced my staff forms, advanced double stick forms and Taekwon 4.
After class assistance, I took my first Muay Thai class. There are some differences compared with TKD such as stances, kicks and hand placement for face protection. I found it particularly interesting that my stance as a left-handed person has to be different from a person that is right-handed. We practiced elbow strikes, knee strikes and a 360 kick (I hope that is the right name). I am sure I will have some sore areas tomorrow. Overall, I enjoyed it. Have a good night!
Today wasn't as busy with work so I got all my physical requirements done before I was done with work. Then it was down to the dojang to help with class. I led warmups and, I think for the first time ever, managed to get through the entire set without anything being out of order. It's only taken me three years to finally memorize it. It's funny how I can tell you if someone leading class changes up the order but I couldn't just rattle off what the order is supposed to be - especially under the pressure of 30 pairs of eyes. After helping with class, we jumped into the Muay Thai class and learned that some skills will carry over, many won't. It was a lot of learning and watching but it was fun. Except now my arms hurt from throwing elbows at the pads. We helped clean up...
We went to Muay Tai tonight. I wasn't sure I was actually going to go because I was negative fifteen points in energy when I got off work but go I did. It was a good class, but I realized that a) I don't know how to count in that class and b) I have to relearn all my stances and kicks. I didn't get to meet everyone in class tonight but I'm sure eventually I'll know everyone's name. The guys coming from Black Belt USA seem to be a decent crew and I'm looking forward to meeting more friends in the group. In a different note: The screw in the tire has also been removed and patched for those keeping track
This morning, I got up to go to campus for my next class which is on Thursday. Felt like time was going a little slower while there, We were walking and standing a lot doing tutorial tasks during the time we had. When I came home I had a hard time trying to do other things more than before. Later went to taekwondo in which I did class assistance, and sparring. It's going to be hard getting through school and taekwondo going forward, unlike the summer, but I'm sure I can make it through it on the long run. This day was more of the same like monday since my same teacher was going through the basics.
Did another 2 miles this morning before bed. Probably take it easy tomorrow and just walk more. The pounding on my back, i just need to take it easy for a day to heal. Was able to get in 2 sessions with 2 mentees today then a great old school class with Master Knight.
School was the same as ever today, nothing remarkable. I didn't go into the dojang today because the class times changed so I just stayed home, got my stuff done, and rested. I ended the day with some homework I forgot to do and caught up with tracking.
Today was another very long day. I woke up, went to practice and got to cheer on a few teammates doing a time trial they missed yesterday. I then came home and did a few small To-Dos before listening to my first college lecture. I then went to work and followed that up with a pretty good sparring class. I then came home, got ready for bed, and now I am here.
Hi King Tiger Family. I got to instruct with a family class today. It was good. We worked on color belt Poomsaes. I always find instructing helps me refine my own Poomsaes. When you have to teach it, you have to break down each move and explain it in words. It is a great way to refine. I actually do that sometimes when I am just practicing or doing requirements. I just say it aloud as I do it. I found sparring tonight very good. I got to spar Master Marcus. It reminded me how out of shape I am. I used to be much faster and better at sparring. Finally got a little more used to what I need to be doing on the cycle this week. Got some leadership and physical credits early this week, and got some mentee and mentor sessions out of the way.
Today, I woke up, got my requirements done, and went to school as usual. After school, I assisted a senior tiger class and got a mentee session in. After the class, I ran one mile, ate dinner, and went to bed. Have a good night.
Today, I woke up to have breakfest and head to school. We had motivational speakers come to school to give speeches on the future and important lessons. I watched a government show in Civics and worked on ELA assignments. I went to work and sparring where I got a sparring credit, class assistance credit, leadership credit, and a mentee session. I got home for a night of dinner, chores, and homework. Goodnight.
Today I went to school once again then went home and did my requirements then went to sparring.
I feel like I am moving on repeat, something every day. I am not used to getting out of school so late. It is crunch time to get all my requirements in. Cannot image how I will balance when homework starts. I need to work on my 4 page essay some more. Not sure many times you can renew a library book.
Today i went to my third day of school. It was nice and i didn't get lost so that's a plus. Today at P.E. i did my mile. Day 4 of my nutrition challenge, my teacher was talking about chips and that made me sad but it's a challenge for a reason. I learned that I actually have honors ELA which means i'm smart. I got my requirements done at after school and went home and ate. Okay i'm done now.
Today I woke up and did my requirements for taekwondo. Then I went on a run and did my chores. Then I finished writing my essay! Then went to the pool then I read a book then watched a movie! Then I went to teakwondo now I am done for the day.
Today I woke up and I went to school and we made a gilder out of a straw and a piece of paper which was fun. Then after school I went to Taekwondo and I got a mentee, mentor, and an assistant credit. Last I had agility with my baseball team. Last today was a great day and I can’t wait for tomorrow.
Today I went to Sparring class. I sparred against Bryce and Kasey. When I sparred against Bryce he kicked me in the knee and it hurt a lot. Then I came home and had breakfast for dinner.
Today was pretty easy-going for the most bit. I had school and I had a project I was working on with a friend but he kept on goofing off with other people and not doing his work. I got all of my homework done at school so that's a positive. After school I went to the gym and ran 1.5 miles and did all my exercises. I think I'm done with my miles for the week. After we got home from the gym, my mom asked me and Jack to bring cabinets upstairs because we are redoing our laundry room. Afterwards, we went to sparring. I sparred twice, Zayne and Peter so that was pretty fun. Now I'm going to eat dinner which is hotdogs which I'm not happy about. Anyway have a nice night, see you tomorrow!
Ugggg.....I may need to switch my mentee. I've attempted several times to meet with my mentee this week, and either she left early or I missed her due to my class time. We tried to do a session tonight, and just as we were going to the next few steps in her form, her parent showed up. I'll try one more time tomorrow evening before sparring. If we can not do a session, I'll need to switch. Wish me luck.
Hello, today I did things, and it was a lot of things like school and gym and waking up. After school I went to the gym to get my exercises done, and then went home. Then once I got home I helped my mom get cabinets upstairs and then I am going to get ready for sparring. bye.
