Last weekend I hungout with my friends in birkdale, i had a lot of fun. However I forgot to journal I'm not sure of i'm good on them or not. I think I messed up bad. I will have to ask about it when I have the chance.

Today I got all caught up on signatures for Leadership 1 credits. Overall the day wasn't very eventful. I finally got used to my new Tae Kwon Do requirements and needed to figure out what I needed less and more of
Great night of sleep, great weekend overall. Woke up today at 6:30, meditation, rowing. CrossFit at noon, tough WoD. Have to go to Arizona this week for work but will get most of my requirements in while there.
This has been a very good weekend. I started my Friday evening with helping our church with Rooms At The Inn... this is where we bring in 13 neighbors (homeless gentlemen) to our church and provide them a place to stay for a night. We feed them and give them a chance to take a shower. We also provide a change or cloths and some amenities for them to keep. We do this every Friday. We have to take care of each other in the world. I wish more would do more everyday and it would be a different world we live in. These neighbors are incredible people with incredible stories. These are PEOPLE which are really trying to make changes in life or just have been dealt a bad set of cards. They seek love like we all seek. A hand or hug is sometimes all we need to lift...
Trying to knock down my self defenses and pomsae numbers. Those seems to be the mystery numbers that never seem to be going down. This is March 16th which means there is less than 3 weeks left. If I'm being completely honest, I'm frustrated. I want to focus on how to make a great class, make myself a better instructor, and make the Harrisburg a great dojang, but the requirements are always looming and taking priority. The wife's mad because I'm balancing everything on a delicate string and that string is getting tighter. The reward will be worth it, but the journey is steep. I needed some motivation so while I'm doing some requirements, I'm watching this documentary on Free Solo. It's pretty amazing, and does help my mental state to stay focus on what I want and what I'll do to get there. Ok, I think I ran out of...
yesterday I went to TKD for sparrring and also BBC class. I also learned my knife defence that day as well it is pretty easy actually. I also went to soccer right after that. There so many tall people on the other teams. We had probably all the small kids. On sunday i had a drums lesson. I am also planning on to teach drums as well pretty soon.
Today I got up and went to church. After church I did requirements and finished my Food Science project. Then I did piano class and played with my sister. Now I'm here and have a good day!
So today Luci came over and we ran together. We also tried perfecting the roll we have to do in Bo Cho one-step #4.
Today I got to go to Emma's house and we did some requirements. After our run Master Chelley came over and talked with my mom and Mrs. Lauren while me a Emma worked on our BB stuff. A lot of time was spent fooling around but we did get some done. I also am cleaning and changing my room a bit. I'm moving some furniture and cleaning out old toys to donate. Anyways I had a good day and I hope everyone else does as well.

So I've noticed that I've been behind in my burpees/squat thrusts, so I decided to do 10 every single hour since about 12 in the afternoon, and it definitely helped. I plan on doing this every single, excpex for during school, to finish those off right quick now.
Today I got up did my things and went to Sparring class. After that I did requirements and did B.B.C. Later I went to a birthday party and stayed there longer than I planned to but it's okay.
This morning I got to take my written and physical test. I missed the scheduled one since I was sick last weekend. After class i went and had a great workout in the gym. Tonight I am going out to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
A while back I and some others did the black belt test although I never had the chance to blog it untill now. I think I did good on the written test with a 97 I think is what I got. For the physical test I did better than the pre test. And got 8:32 for my mile run. I think I should have done better on pull ups, but I at least tried.
When I got out of school today, I was really ready to go on a run as soon as I got home, but then the rain hit. And it didn't stop. And then the sidewalks got covered in mud and rain. I was truly disappointed and very sad. I also had a presentation today on housing development and ecological effects such as environmental health risks, ecosystem effects, poverty's rates, etc. And to be honest, I LOVE presenting to people, but I kinda didn't rehearse the night before because I got home at like 10. So the it's supposed to be a 7-8 minute presentation, but because I didn't know how long mine was, I just talked really fast and did it in 5. So my teacher said I got high B, but really, I think i deserve worse.
Had to work today...did not make it to Saturday class..bummed.Woke up at 6am, mediated, rowed, some training. Still sore from last CrossFit...got a massage yesterday afternoon...helped a little.
today at school we had NO sub.we had yoga but we didn’t go outside.at music we watched a movie about Beethoven.at recess we played football and someone got banned from football ????.at math i finished early and got to play on an iPad.after school me and my dad went to get ice cream and I’m going to play Fortnite with my friends.
Today at school we had another sub and nothing was normal.at per we played ???? king of the cancel and sabio won the hole game. At math it was easy but...somebody in the class had told the sub the wrong thing.and at lunch we ara supposed to eat outside but we didn’t.
Today we had our math benchmark and I think I did really good on it. I really didn't struggle on any of the questions at all. Today i went to get Cleats and other soccer stuff because tomorrow soccer is starting for me. I am really exited about this soccer season.
Today, we had our math benchmarks. Unlike all the others, me and the other Math 1 attendants who are in 7th grade will have to take ANOTHER "Math 1" benchmark on Monday. I'm not sure what I got on the regular math benchmark, I'm about to check right now.
Today has been a relaxing day. I did my requirements this morning and have just been laying around for the day. I have black belt class tonight and then my voice lessons.
So today during math, about the first half of math felt pretty normal, going with the flow it usually does, but after that, every minute seemed like an hour. We were taking the "geometry of circles to next level" as Mr. Cross said. We were doing all these lengths of arcs and a bunch of other normal stuff that we had already done, but it also kind of tied in because today was pi day.
Tomorrow i have a math benchmark and I am pretty excited about it than I was for ELA. Math I can actually understand and look for different ways for the final answer but ELA you can only find the answer in one way and that is if you understand the text. But yeah i also had soccer tryouts and i did pretty good.
Great night of sleep...got right at 7 1/2 hours. Up at 6:30am...rowed, sit ups, meditated for 30 mins. Getting ready for work today, going to be a long day. Will do CrossFit at noon - Open workout 19.4. Black belt class last night was very good....thank you Master Cavazos. Poomsaes were not that solid for me...still having mental/memory issues. Short stick forms 1, 2 & 3.
Tonight we had color belt testing at the Lake Norman Dojang. Everyone there did great and I am proud of them all. With the Black belt test closing in, I cant wait to test myself. I am feeling motivated!
Today I had benchmarks, they are these tests that we receive every quarter. The teachers take these results and see where you are right now, and where you are projected to be on the EOG's/ EOC. I saw what I got and I'm proud to say that I got a 100! My day has been great ever since then.
Today we got cot up on requirements that we fell behind on. We ran far and wile we ran we did exercises then came back did some jump rope then ate and finished up the rest of are requirements, we are almost finished but not all the way done.
Yesterday I helped out with testing for the lower belts which was fun and I've helped out with a testing before. I attacked people for self defense and at the end handed out new belts and certificates.
Did not sleep very well last night...way too many sounds going outside. Up around 7am, rowed, worked out and then meditated. CrossFit at noon....brutal but knocked a ton of pullups, pushup, squats and others. Blackbelt class tonight at 7:30pm...trying to get there early to do some pomsae's.
I have recently started writing my own book! It is called "Jupiter's Angel." It is a revenge story. So far I am only 34 pages into it, but it's a work in progress. I hope it all works out very well. I mean, who knows, it might even get published!
Today I had soccer tryouts. I honestly thought I could have done way better than i did today. Tomorrow I am going to do my very level best. I also have a ELA benchmark tomorrow. ELA is my worst subject. I have never been good at English at all. But so far today was a normal day for me.
So today my dad and I went to Best buy because my mic and his xbox controller we're broken, but we had a warranty so went to trade them in. However... When I was refunded my $80 and I went to buy the same one again, the warranty cost had gone up from $15 to $25! It was truly an outrage and I felt like they were robbing me of my money!... Even though it was a really good mic.
So as I mentioned in my last journal I haven't been sleeping well lately and today was exhausting. I didn't even do much but just running one mile for me was hard. I think some of it is due to my developing cough but hopefully I can fix that up and try to sleep a little more. The only things I am lagging on right now are my basic kicks (easy) and my pull ups (also easy). Anyways I hope I feel better and that no one else is getting what I have.
I am back from yet another business trip. This time I traveled to the cold weather of Toronto, Canada. I am happy to be back home. I am truly grateful for everything I have and I am content with what we have. I do not need or want anything else in my life. I have God, my wife, kids, family, and friends, and that is all I need. We can very easily forget how lucky many of us are as we live our daily lives because we get so wrapped up in our lives, that we forget to live and enjoy the moment. I found some of that during this trip. I found myself just taking a moment to be grateful, even in the hectic airport and crazy traveling around the city. Just stop and look at something, and just enjoy the moment. I had to take a train from downtown...
Great black belt class last night...self-defense and single stick forms.Woke up this morning at 6:30. Rowed, meditated and having oatmeal and water for breakfast. Full day of work today but planning on going to CrossFit later this afternoon. During meditation this morning I spent the majority of the time on being thankful and grateful...so much to be grateful today it is overwhelming at times.
It is official, my art teacher is pregnant. The kids said that she is 2 months, but I’ve suspected it since September during fall camp. She’s doesn’t even teach Bieber so I can’t imagine what the rest of the year would be like.
Today I didn't have school. I got some of my requirments knocked of . I am really worried about this week because we have benchmarks. And the benchmarks aren't the normal ones they are the EOG benchmarks which are 4 hours long , we even eat our lunch 2 hours after our normal lunch.
Today was pretty regular and nothing particularly exciting or fun happened. I didn’t feel great mostly because I haven’t been sleeping well recently. In my STEM class we started a new project which seems kinda but also complex. Anyways that was my day happy Tuesday.
This past week has been very frustrating since i was sick. I did not get to go to the gym or to the dojang. I had to miss the written and physical test. Yesterday I was able to go to TKD thanks to dayQuil haha.
I've had a really nice day, I'm already feeling back to normal besides a cough, but that always resides for weeks after I get sick. I was able to spend my day with my brother and had a really nice day, I'm really grateful that I didn't have school today. Unfortunately school begins anew tomorrow, officially starting the fourth quarter. I'm both nervous and excited to be so close to the end of my sophomore year.
Today started at 6am as usual. Rowing, meditation, coffee, work. Going to black belt class tonight. Still working on finding the balance between training and work. Crossfit yesterday left me sore most of the day with overhead squats and the WOD.
Got the written and physical test out of the way. The written test would probably be more of the challenge for me. I do not have a mind for foreign languages and remembering all the Korean words is tough. I have enough problems with English. Today, some of you got to see Grandmaster Evins really mad. And I don't blame him one bit. It's not difficult to figure out what this is all about. This should be something you can look back on and feel proud about because of what you went through. Don't screw it up by short cutting yourselves. Not to mention, it was pretty dumb. I mean, no one was invisible out there, so why would they think they could go for a stroll and not get caught. If you haven't figured it out, one shirker can bring down the whole group on the overnight test. Respect each...
Is it just me, or did anyone else feel like today was different? Like I know how sometimes a Monday might feel like a Friday or something, but today was unique, and had this vibe that I've never felt before. I felt it when I went to School, and about halfway thrithr the day, it just felt like I shouldn't be there, it was just kind of weird.
Today was a very slow day at school. I was really tired and I wanted to take a nap. We got to play kahoots in math today. I didn’t play because I barely understand the math. I’m glad I didn’t play.
Today was really slow so far and the good thing is that I don't have school tommorow. I also have benchmarks this week. So far today I went to school then came back, did some of my requirments then played.
It's been a mixed day, my brother came home from college for the week since he's on spring break and it's always nice to see him so that's good. On the other hand, I've gotten pretty sick. It's only something mild, thankfully, and I'm already feeling much better, but it still king of prevented me from hanging out with my family as much as I wanted to so that brought me down a bit. I don't have school tomorrow so that's good.
When I went for a run earlier today, I decided to try out a new route and see how far it was. So living in Cedar field, my house is right off of Stratton Farm. So I took a right there, and went straight all the way down to the end of the road, where I then took a left on to the main Street. Eventually I ran upon one of the main entrances into my neighborhood, where I followed the main Street which lead right back onto Stratton Farm, where I could just backtrack my route to get back to my house. It was pretty nice route, and summed be to be a nice 2 miles, so it was a pretty good run.
The previous Saturday held the Black Belt Physical and Written test. We (BoChoDans) started our run at 8:00AM, and the continued with the rest of our physical exam. Such precedings were : Sit-ups, Push-ups, Burpies, Pull-ups, and Jump Ropes. After all of that, we did the written portion, and most of us got our results back. Some people left afterwards, but I and most others stayed for Black Belt Class. I hope everyone else has had an amazing day.
Today I woke up and ate a bagel, my mom started making eggs. She was making the eggs for tuna and after it was made it was really good. After I watched some Youtube and chilled out. I then went for a run and did requirements. After all this I took a shower. I then ate dinner and watched some more Youtube. Now i'm going to sleep.
Today I got did my things and went to church with my family. Then I came home did requirements and had piano class. After that I went to my friend's house with my family and had dinner at Alino's Pizzeria with them (my friends)
today me and my dad played badminton. I also really tired and my body is really sore from the test yesterday. I also have benchmarks this week as well as well as soccer tryouts which I know i'm not going to make because the coach picks favorites.
Great morning at King Tiger for our Black Belt Written and Physical Tests. I was able to pretty much able to beat my baseline scores. The only place I got the same was with pull ups. But that is okay... I will continue to work to build more strength. I was extremely proud of Nate. He worked really hard to beat his times. I know he is my son, so of course I am proud... but he truly amazes me. I need to travel again this coming week, but this should be the last until after testing. Keep moving!!!
today in TKD we had the physical and written tests. I think I did pretty good . My book was pretty Goff as well I just need to redo or change one of my essay and that is pretty much it.
Today we had our physical and written test, and I feel like I did pretty decent. I improved Mile by about a minute, which I feel good about. I also felt pretty confident in all of my answers for the written test. I hope everyone else did good and have a good night!
Today I had to wake up early to go to the physical and written at the North Charlotte. I ran a mile, then did the rest of the physical stuff. And then we had to do the written test. The written test was really hard but I got most of the questions right.
So today was the BBC physical and written test and I believe I did good. The only thing that I didn't beat was my sit ups which was disappointing considering that I am good at those. I am a little bit mad at myself because I forgot to bring my book and that was very irresponsible, I hope I can fix it. I beat my running time by almost a minute which I was really happy about. I think that after the cycle ends I will still continue running, maybe not as consistently but definitely over the summer.
Fridays are great. Get to sleep in a little, catch up on all the things around the house. Help the boys with their school day (school is at home on Friday), and have some family time. Tomorrow is the written and physical test, so for the rest of this day I will be studying and working on my essays. I was a white belt yesterday in class and there were a lot of different reactions to the students. The most common one was, I messed up and Master Knight took away my black belt. It would have been more enjoyable to leave it at that than to explain over and over about the black belt cycle, but it gave them a little glimpse of something they will hopefully be doing. So, I am signing off here to work on another essay, yes, I procrastinated a bit, and figure out how to...
Today we had our Black Belt Physical and Written Test. I wasn't there for the Physical pre-test so I didn't know exactly what we were supposed to do. Yesterday I had no clue how they were going to keep track of around 20 peoples time, especially considering the times were so exact.
So today I had two biology Tests, and I'm pretty disappointed. As always, my teacher splits up our tests into 2 or three parts, and I got kinda low grades. I got an 87 on a 23 question test so I missed three, and a 76 on like an 11 question test, or something like that, but I missed three on both. The reason I'm disappointed however, is that these tests were really easy, and I should've aced both.
Today in TKD there was a color belt testing and I helped. There was really no one there at all at the testing it was me Aquil, Master Weeks, Master Kavasoz and Ritika that pretty much it. I was kind of glad that I went because one it was my first time and also ot was pretty fun to help the students break their boards.
Got back late from Hong Kong last night and slept great last night. Now it is Friday. Nate did not have school and did a sleep over with a friend of his. Then he came home today and we hung out a bit. We got a bunch of exercises done and also tested each other. We both feel pretty good about the test. We went to Black Belt class and reviewed some stuff that we needed review on anyway. It was a good night. Now I am heading to bed, we got an early morning with Physical and Written Test tomorrow. Good Night everyone. Good luck. Keep Moving!!!
So honestly, today felt like a pretty long day, but at the end of it all, I ran the LONGEST 5k I've ever ran. Now let me go ahead and say that my quickest is in the 24 minute threshold, but this one, I got SO MANY CRAMPS, that it was over 40. So really, I felt pretty disappointed in myself since I ran such a slow time, but t the same time good because I got a bunch of miles in.
Today I woke up and went to school. At school we watched a video on how the human body works, that was in science. In last block we took a cycle test. After school I went to TKD. At tkd I went on a run and ate a snake. After that I took sparring and then went home.
Today's been very productive. Despite being very very busy, I feel like I've gotten a lot done. I took 1 quiz, and two tests today, studied for two more tests that I have tomorrow and am stressing out a lot over the test on Saturday. I have also done a multitude of small assignments for my various classes, all in all I think it pretty much sums up the end of the quarter. I'm glad for the 3 day weekend since we have Monday off.
Today was a very slow day at school. We had a seminar in earth science about structures built along the shore to prevent erosion, she did not pick a good article. Then I did a lot of work in math, surprisingly. I’m still behind though. We also got new Tokyo Ghoul books in the library and it was like a mad dash to see who could check them out first. It was entertaining. I also surprisingly got a lot of work done in Spanish. Art was fun though. We think that the art teacher is pregnant. She keeps saying stuff that relate to the topic since the beginning of the year. I’ve suspected but kept my mouth shut. But now we’re sure that she’s having a baby.
I was really tired today. I finished all of my homework today and played for a little while. i am also planning to help out tommorow for the color belt testing.
This week has been miserable. I have been bed ridden since instructors camp. I have used this time to study for the test but i hate not going to the gym or to the dojang.
So today we had band practice and honestly, it felt like the longest one I've ever had. It went after school from 2:30 to 5:30 but it felt like it was double that time. However we did get a lot of practice in today so I guess that's good.
Today I woke up and went to school. At school we did more practice on the area of a circle and circumference. Then in second block we did more on ww2. In gym we played baseball and basketball. In fourth block we just went over everything we did while our teacher was out. After school I went to TKD and ran. I then took class and then left. After leaving I went to my grandparents house because my great uncle chuck was their and we went to eat pizza and hang out with him.
So on Saturday we have our written test and physical test. I'm glad I am actually going to be there, because for the physical pre-test I wasn't there so I had to do it another day. It has been raining a lot so I haven't had to do much with my shrub lately and its pretty hard to keep track o when its a good time to water it.
Today I got up did my stuff and went to school. In Gym Class my friend didn't get a good serve (because he's bad but I can't tell him that because I think he knows) and was raging when really it was his fault. After school I ate, studied for the written test and went to T.K.D. Now I've finished dinner and I am here.
Today has been pretty stressful, but I'd like to take a look at the better side of things. I have a truck load of makeup work for a day that I missed, and that just keeps on piling up. I had to miss taekwondo because my little brother and my mom had a concert, and I received a less than favorable grade back on my French test. Despite all of that, I got my daily requirements done, practiced guitar, listened to a wonderful performance, received a good grade on a civics project, and even got to relax and just hang out with my family for a little bit.
okay, so i said i wasn't journalling again. But i checked my track page and it only says i've done 21 journals, even though i can count all my journals and there are def more than thirty. soooooo i have to do more. i had a really bad day yesterday. i had a big feud with a friend and she's acting really shady, and i have to do something that i'm not necessarily refusing, but that offends me. that's all i can tell you without revealing too many details. and that's all. and another extra detail you didn't ask for- when you want to listen to a really weird song, listen to "bushes of love" by bad lip reading. it's on itunes and spotify. and on that note, i'll end on a song lyric: we've all got a chicken duck woman thing waiting for us.
Today me and master Weeks were practicing my bolo form because I didn't know it. I also got my instructors camp certificate. Since now that I am a instructor I can help out and do other stuff. And also thank you Grand Master Evins for the extra credits for going to instructors camp.
Today I got (early again so I did requirements but I did my physical after). After school I finished requirements. Then I went to swimming class.
So recently two of my good friends had an argument over a small problem but I think that today fixed some of it as they talked and smoothed things over. Other than that the rest of my day was pretty normal. I didn't get to run today and I was a little sad because it was so beautiful out. Anyways hope everyones day was good.
So, Instructors camp is over, and what a great camp it was. Being around Grand Master Lee is phenomenal. I'm just amazed how he can sit down on a hard floor with us with perfect posture for hours. I really liked how we ended it with the GRIT thing. It's definitely something to keep pursuing. Today I am finishing up my written test questions and starting to study. The hardest thing to do is start hitting the requirements again after instructors camp. I'm still trying to catch up on sleep, not so much push ups, sit ups, pomsaes, and self defense. That's it for me. Stay healthy folks!
I have been sick since instructors camp. I woke up monday with a fever and extremely sore throat. I had to take these last two days off so i have been studying none stop for the test on saturday.
Well... I landed in Hong Kong about 3.5 hours ago. It is about 9:00pm here while I am typing this. I did not sleep much on the plane. Just could not get comfortable. I do have a bunch of meetings tomorrow, but I am ready for them. I spent a good portion of the flight preparing for them. I did go to the hotel gym and workout. Got a bunch of requirements done, and I room-service just arrived with some food. Plan is to eat and hit the sack. Hopefully that works. Have a great day. Keep Moving!!!
Today in school we r talking about WW1 and what led up to it. We also talked about how America also got involved in it. I am also very exited about my school field trip thats coming up in a month. I also had a lot of fun at the Instuctors Camp as well and I really miss it because their was so many new people i met and also trained with.
Today I got up early had some free time to do requirements and finished poomsae and self defense requirements (I also did my routine and went to school). After school I finished requirements and went to T.K.D. After T.K.D. I ate at McDonald's (because of my sister) and took a bath, did some essay progress, and now I'm here
I had a good day. School was fun. In the evening I did my requirements. Then I read Harry Potter and the goblet of fire. Then I had dinner. I am going to bed now.
Woke up late and went to school late. The reason I woke up late was because of instructors camp and I was very tired. After school played then ate. And after that I did exercises then started writing this.
Today was boring at least school wise. I didn't do much, however I did start my WHite belt challenge late today.
Today I got and for some reason my arm hurt and I noticed that for some reason my journals have a scheduled posting time so, it's posting a day later. We didn't go to church because, we all slept in (we had our friends come over for about four hours). I had a normal day today and I'm studying for the written test and good luck to everybody that is doing it.
Got back from Instructor's Camp today, it was so much fun. It's only the second time I've been and I had a wonderful time meeting people and making new friends and strengthening relationships with the friends I already had. Of course it was a privilege to be around so many talented people. My knowledge and passion for taekwondo truly were strengthened and expanded. I hope to go again next year and to have an even better experience.
Over the weekend I went to instructors camp. The camp was really fun and we practiced a lot. We also did a rope course, the rope course wasn't even a actual rope course it was a teamwork activities. I also learned how to do the nunchucks. I was really good at it as well. We all trained really hard and learned a lot as well. Working with Grand master Lee was a really honorable thing to do. Overall the camp was really fun. This was my first instructors camp as well.
This weekend I went to Instructor's camp. It was very fun I had a good time, although the drinking water tasted a little off. Other than that it was great. We talked about history, helping, teaching, kicking, and other things.
On Saturday I had my birthday party. We went to Painting With a Twist and painted a tree with butterflies. It was a nice small party with a few friends and family that chose to come down for it. After that we went to Outback with a family friend and her kids. To be honest, they seem like family rather than friends.
So we all just got back from instructors camp, and it was pretty fun! This was my third year, and to be honest, I did kinda like going to Greenville rather than going to camp oak Hill, but it was still awesome. Even though it was also a pretty small instructors camp, it was still really fun, with cool training. I'm looking forward to next year's, and I'm hoping it'll be just as fun!
I had a great time at instructors camp. The outdoor team building course was my favorite session because we had to trust each other and listen to ideas. The bonfire last night was also great since we had s'mores.
I had a good day. In the morning I did my requirements. I also did my Role modal essay. Then I had lunch. Then I watched my normal watching time. Then I went to my basketball game. I was sooooo close to winning it was 31 vs. 32. Then I went shopping. Then I had dinner. I am going to bed now.
Today I had a pretty normal Saturday. The only things that weren't normal is that I went to a birthday party, my cousins came over and so, did my friends. I also did requirements. I can't believe I'm already so, in the cycle.
So in engineering, the entire class did pretty bad on this recent test, with everyone averaging a C(which is funny because we actually checked the answers and people were right when our teacher marked us wrong). So we all had to to do a makeup test, and on any retest, the highest you can get is a 79. So there were 30 questions, and I got 25 right, which is an 83. So somehow, she took 83% over 79 and managed to get a 65 out of that which is really annoying. So instead, even though I got a better score on the makeup, my original grade for my first test was still better because she graded weirdly, so I got a C.
I am looking forward to instructors camp! I cant wait to experience this new location and everything it has to offer. I took today and yesterday off from the gym in preparation for camp, only doing the requirements for the cycle.
I had a good day at school. We went to eye doctor and every is good. I have to put my contacts in myself. Then we went to Jasons deli for dinner and then to King Tiger. I got hurt at sparring but I am fine. Getting ready for Instructors camp. Now I am writing this.
Today I got up and went to school. After school my mom was home! That's exiticing because she usually comes at 5:30. I also got to number 10 in my Weekday Black Belt classes. I had and had a good mentor session.
Tuesdays are my roughest day. Mostly self imposed as I go to PMA class Monday night, get home around 9:30, bed by 11, then up at 5 am for my men's bible study group. Went home to meet the tree guy who I'm paying a crazy amount of money to save my poplar tree. The tree is huge and would cost a fortune if it had to come down, so $300 is definitely the path of cheap resistance. Then today, Master Knight fell while on a run and messed up his shoulder. I took him to the urgent care where they took x-rays and such. So it was just me at the new school tonight. It actually went pretty smooth. Of course, it would have been a lot smoother with Master Knight because of his awesomeness with kids. The good news is, I'm still trainable, and Master Knight teachings have come to...
Night before Instructors Camp and all through the house, I am packing for the weekend... As I am not sure the weather, so I am packing for all circumstances. I am sure I am overpacking but I would rather have it than not, and need it. If it was just me, that would be different, but Nate is going too and so I am a little protective and I want to make sure he is prepared as well. Double the trouble. Anyway... I am very excited about the weekend and looking forward to moving my mind, body, and spirit. See you all there. Keep moving!
