If I was a superhero, I think my name today would be "Super Sore!" Haha. But, seriously. Some days are easier than others, and this cold weather definitely isn't helping. Being sore though, I know I am pushing myself. I've been really hammering down some of the forms we don't get a chance to practice that often (attack/defense form, staff, etc...) Instructor's Camp is next weekend! Definitely looking forward to it. Hopefully, I will be able to knock out some requirements with that as well!
Yesterday was another good day. I finished all my requirements by mid-day (No School again yesterday). Then I played with my sister for a while before i went for my swimming class in the evening. I had a great class yesterday and per our normal schedule we end class with a medley race. We had to do 250 mts (10 laps) with breaststroke, butterfly, back stoke and freestyle. As soon as the race started all my other friends swam really fast. I swam at a decent pace as i knew i had to keep going for 10 laps. My friends got exhausted by the 3rd lap. I started swimming fast after lap 7 and the final lap i made a sprint to the finish. I was done way before my friends could finish. My Master was very proud of me. I am working very hard as I really want to be...
Today we had fun running the pacer test where you run up and down the gym and I got 35 highest of the class. I hated when we did a test you have to wait until your classmates are done. I was playing soccer and beat my dad
Today was fully of tae kwon do stuff. Once I got home, I ran 2 miles but there was this one patch of sidewalk which was iced for about 20m. Then I went to class and my little sisters forced me to do a bunch of stuff afterwards. I don't enjoy doing poomsaes at home more than at class. At home it feels kinda cramped bc of the furniture and in class, my Masters and Instructors are there to correct me if I forget something, which I really appreciate. :)
My day was good. But I have some home work. And I am going to working on my project. I hope everybody is up the requirement.

I went to black belt class today. I got a lot of stuff in. I thought I was doing great but now I am in the red for mentor and mentee sessions and I am in the orange/yellow for leadership 1(helping out in class). Ok in my next life I want to be a Bird. By you say? Because when the cold weather comes I can fly further south. At 11degrees it is TO COLD! Lost the feelings in my fingers today and what would have taken me 15 minutes to do took me 45 minutes. It was COLD. But no a good note had a awesome time with my mente tonight.

Its another cold day today. The Cabarrus schools are closed today as well. We did not have school the whole week but we have make up day tomorrow. I am hoping that it will be cancelled tomorrow and i can come for Black Belt Class and Sparring class. The good thing about the schools being closed is that I have slept a lot and feeling a lot better now physically. I have been pulling off a lot of requirements as well. Stay Warm!!!

I had a hard time trying to spin the staff the right way but it dosent go the way I. I also helped out with a class and tried taking family class but I fell and I had to sit out. I also hated when I had to do staff self defeense

i did a very long work out that trailed through 2 classes. But it was worth it. I practices Basic Forms 1, 2, and 3 as well as Wang ho 1. I did 225 push ups and sit ups. It was a lot but i really liked it and i caught up a lot.
Well getting harder and harder to make things work, been really busy with my environmental job, actually the roof has come off it is so busy up till midnight trying to get things completed and still work out, I have not been to a training class in about 2 weeks due to the environmental work and having to make sure I still have a family. I have been working out and doing forms and self defense, staff and some stick forms. I have been also doing sword but have missed several classes and they want to test in March, ha I do not think that is going to happen. Anyway going to enter all me stuff today so do not think I did it in one day just the amount over the last couple of weeks.
We don't have school today as well. So it will be 1 week tomorrow since we went to school. I am feeling bored at home. I finish all my requirements by mid day and feel extremely bored. My sister and I played WII games for a while yesterday. I hope the weather gets warm and we go to school from tomorrow.
Today was a good day, I went to Taekwondo, and I learned a few new things! The only problem, was that I was very tired; everything crashed down on me from all the days of exercising today, and I did not feel like doing anything. I hope that everyone had a great day!
Had a good time in class tonight, at Belmont 4:30 Class which is Red Belt and Up Class, we did a few forms, then we did practicality of certain self defenses. I enjoy doing those because it helps me think of what i can do, if something doesnt go the way like any of our color belt self defenses work. It makes you think of other things :)

I had a very good day today and got a lot of stuff in for the cycle. And I learned that my school hasn't opened for three days.
It was hard doing pull ups you have to use the upper body I did my first pull up and did ten by myself. I had most of the help from my dad. I am exited to go to school beacuse I get to see my friends. I also hated when I had to do 20 of blue and higher poomsae.
I had a good day today. Although we had a delayed start to morning classes because of the weather my Latin Cuisine produced some wonderful food. Then the Optician told me that my eye is completely healed and I am cleared for my eye exam. Then the weather cleared & stayed just warm enough for my run. Finally, we had some really good sessions/classes through the afternoon at King Tiger LKN.
I may sound like i'm advertising or something but just note this: i'm not. If you think naps are helpful try being me. Scratch that don't try to be me! After a nap the results can be good or bad. For me, it's almost always bad.
Tomorrow there is a school dance and I don't know what to do. Please give me a idea of what to do please.
A challenging week so far with snow and ice! I would say that it will get better, but it may actually get worse tonight. Had a great mentor session & small class this morning. Worked on a new staff form, and got a chance to practice some forms I haven't done in awhile. Also, practiced some cool self defense techniques against Master Hartle. May be able to sneak another mentee session in tonight with Jay Jay (depending on this crazy weather).
I am sad again. School was canceled and that is even more work and days we have to make up. I am only happy because I can still focus on Tae Kwon Do. See you guys later.
We don't have school again today. We have make up day on Saturday (Feb 21) and i am not happy at all. I will miss my Saturday Black Belt Class and Sparring. Not sure why they cancelled school today. I did not do my run yesterday but will go to do my run in the gym today. I did a lot of sparring rounds and pull ups and jump ropes yesterday. I feel good and planning to do the same today as well. I have caught up with my essays as well and waiting for Miss Evins to send the Drop Box for me to upload those.
Business trip to Vegas for 3 days means taking one day for muscle recovery. Ugh. Now only have one scheduled trip between now and testing. For me, routine is the key to training.
With tonight, Even though we had a sleet/snow/ freezing rain mixture, i still went to class tonight and worked out, and did some of my requirements tonight. Only A little Bit Longer to go: )

Hello, good day. I cleared the driveway with my little sister which look a couple hours. Then I did push ups, sit ups, kicks and a few poomsaes and self defenses.
I am not a big winter weather fan... just saying. I live in the South For a reason!YES ! we really did 520 kicks on Monday. The last class of the day was cancelled because of this bad weather so maybe Master Shin just wanted to get all the kicks for the day in. :-) and I had already done 100. My legs are a little sore today, but that actually feels good because it means I'm doing and I definitely needed the numbers, and I'm thrilled that I am feeling a little stronger than yesterday. I am still running primarily on some awesome smoothies, but am slowly introducing solid food. This bout has been a rough one!I spent a good deal of time last night going over the test questions. I still have answers I need to find. Since school is already cancelled for tomorrow, and we are still having...
Today I practice doing pull ups it hard so I did push ups to help me but I did 1 only I felt proud I did at least one. I loved playing my favorite games and it's snowing. Yesterday we had only two classes in Tae Kwon Do due to the weather. The first one i helped and led warm ups. There were only 4 people in the class. The next class was mine where we had only 6 in the class. Master Evins made us do every single kick and i did close to 230 kicks in that hour. I had finished my 150 kicks earlier in the day with my pull ups and sparring rounds. I was very tired and Master Evins told that the overnight black belt test will be even harder than this. I am not sure what to expect now..... Lets hope for the best!

Today I didn't notice when my cousin came yesterday she went to sleep when I did but I didn't see her. Today I was suppose to go to tae kwon do but the weather was not good so I hade to go back home. I was trying to do pull ups but it's really hard to pull up.
I went to Defy Gravity and jumped around and did flips for an hour. How many jumps ropes does that count for?

I am now very behind with my journals and requirements after taking a week off to be with my friend when her father died. I didn't focus on requirements or journaling at all during this time. When I started doing pushups and sit-ups again after taking that time off, I realized how hard it is to get in shape, but how very easy it is to get out of shape and to lose your momentum. I plan send quite a few videos to Master Evins this week and will try to catch up some with requirements. I did walk just slightly under 5 miles by the end of the day on Saturday at the Cupid's Cup 5K. Our team (The Sanger Pacing Panthers) earned about $900.00 for CHS Cardiac Rehabilitation programs here in Charlotte. Now I will turn my focus back to Tae Kwon Do.
Ok the news is saying that its were cold and it is true. So it is so cold I spent my day inside at my grandparents house. It was so cold I could not walk or run outside since I was at my grandparents house so I could not use the treadmill so I ran and walked at a mall. Comment about how the cold is affecting you. This has been a very productive weekend! I have gotten a lot of things done, and my numbers have increased a lot! I am a little sore, but that is ok with me as long as I am getting my exercises done!! Yesterday my dad and I tried a challenge. We wanted to see how much stamina i had. So in the gym treadmill i put 5K and started running. I ran for 32 mins and covered 4.5Kms. Then my dad asked me to slow down and i did my cool down walk for another 4 mins. I was super excited to cover ~4.6KM (2.88 Miles) in my first try. I had the stamina to finish the 5K but my dad wanted me to slow down and do it over a couple of weeks. I am very excited for next weekend to see if i can do the full 5K. I caught up on a lot of sleep and feeling much better now. I did a lot of pull ups and sparring rounds yesterday and will do the same today. Glad it is a Holiday today!!!!!!!!!
Today has been a really long day for me. But even with that being so, I still got my requirements done today and still going strong even though i am starting to feel tired and sore more often now.

Last week I was in the red in two things. Now I am in the yellow and some requirements I am green in, like my black belt classes. I am almost finished. And, all I have to do is 3 more sparring classes. What are you finished in?

I had a great day yesterday. The credits for Jr Instructors camp really helps. I am almost done with my requirements for BB classes, Leadership Credits and Sparring, The main focus for today and tomorrow is get most of my sparring rounds and pulls up done. Need to read the book for my essay too which i am hoping to complete by tomorrow.
Today at Black Belt Class was a very good class, we went over things that i needed to do, ( forms that i couldn't remember ) and then after that, I had Sparring class, which was all good until I got hit in my right knee ( the leg i had surgery on ) a few times, that really hurt haha, then ya I came home rested up for a while and then I got my requirements done for today, only 5 more weeks to go! Can't Wait !!!

I learned pagway il Chang and e chang it was fun to learn. I was exited to take black belt class hyper and sparring. I loved when I got to help Zacker with his kicking so I can get random act of kindness so I can catch up. I hated when we went to the mall beacuse we was there a lot of hours.
I went to Black Belt class today and Master Hartle(Chelley) gave us the requirements we got for going to Junior Instructors camp. I also learned more of Pow Gwe il and yi chang. After Black Belt class I took sparring. It was really fun. Make sure you guys catch up this week. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!

I just ran my 2.03 miles for the first time. I ran at a speed of 5.3 in the treadmill. I feel very good finally reaching my goal of 2.0 mile run. I am getting ready for the day. Leaving to Kumon in an hour and then will be at Black Belt class.
Tonight, I am really starting to feel more tight and sore in my arms and legs, and basically everywhere else haha, Im still doing my best though.
Today I went rollor skating with my family I was the last person that was skating in my family so I was a little wear out. I loved when we played the dice game thers numbers and you try to go to a number 1 throw 6 and I never got out of that game. It was awesome when the light turned off and the diso came on I was so fast I fell and I got back up and went to my spot to it pizza it was like the greates pizza I ever tast in my life and I also had fun with my dad rollor skating. I got to warheads sour gummies it was good. I loved when we all skated toghther.
