Tomorrow.... I am sure everyone will do well..... Study Written Test....... Good Luck :)
Tomorrow.... I am sure everyone will do well..... Study Written Test....... Good Luck :)
Went to class today. I broke both my legs and my arms. I drove home afterwards.
Well it is crunch time... Only 1 more day until physical and written test. Never have I felt so not prepared. Been studying but I swear my brain has turned into a pasta strainer... Full of holes and nothing seems to be staying in! I have 1 more essay to finish tomorrow and then the last one will have to come after our community service project. My shrub is still alive in the backyard so that is all good! Atleast today it didn't take me an hour and a half to go 10 miles to class.
Nothing interesting happened today. I went to class, came home. My 5th toe on my right foot is damaged. And my friend has bilateral pneumonia.
I have finished all of my essays but one. The only thing I have left to do is my living hero. I really need to make up my mind quick. If I can't find a living hero, I might have to do another non-living hero. I need to do that really soon. I have to finish that tomorrow. Well, good night.
Don't start no war with me... I have the scoop. I finished my book. Very interesting read. Sun Tzu's book is supposed to be the benchmark by which all military leaders must adhere to acheive success. Most of it seems like common sense type of stuff, but, who knows. We see leaders all the time seem to exhibit no apparent common sense.
Did my Physical test on Wednesday am with Master Evins. 3 minutes faster on my run and did better on everything else except my sit ups...which was the same. Funny, because the only thing I was worried about going in was my push ups. I am not going to say that I rocked those out, but I did significantly better with the push ups. So, I was surprised that I couldn't get in a good rhythm with my sit ups. Pull ups are still at zero....can't even hang from the bar. Gonna keep working on those.
Still sick. I am going to go for a long run today to see if that helps a bit.
Well this is a bit strange. I'm down to 47 journals. I guess the more I journal they start removing them instead of added them. That or they aren't very good and they won't be counted, kind of like my hook kicks. I can picture Master Evins reading them and saying out loud, "AGAIN!" then delete. It's all good anyway. I'll just keep on keeping on. Talk about some great weather tonight. I wanted to go jump into my hammock and lay there under the stars. I thought now that I was completing most of my requirements, I would start to take it easy, but Ryan and Tiger are bringing their A game, and I can't let those young whipper snappers beat me. Well, I will at least give them a run for there money.
Cool news today. I basically set up a schedule of all the work I have to do before spring break. I find it pretty cool.
Took my physical test today, since I am unable to attend early on Saturday. Feeling pretty sick, but I was able to get through. Running was the hardest part. Couldn't beat my pretest time (7 sec slower). Hope I feel better tomorrow. Too much work to do.
There is this drink that has alo in it its called exposed original. It is so good it at earth fare. Its right near my school so me and my mo go there some times. But luckily My mom bought me some exposed drinks from amazon. Thank you amazon.
I am still sick. I am staying home from school today. Even though I am sick, I plan to still do my workout.
My mom makes me do all these thing to make me responsible. Like she makes me go attest a day by keeping my things organize. then after a wile I'm responsible so i can now take care of my little brother Ethan by myself.
I thought I was done but apparently not. Today was a day that seemed to drag on and on, why isn't it Friday already? Got stuck in traffic on my way to class but that didn't seem to matter because no one was at sparing. Went to help the family class but only 3 people showed up (1 Bo Cho Dan and 2 White Belts) so ended up taking that class instead of helping out. I like instructing more than I thought I would. It also seems to help with memory retention of self defenses.
When my wife went to get her massage therapy license, I thought, great, now I have to be a ginny pig. And I was, a lot, and believe this or not, I really didn't like massages in the past. But, after some sore back pain, bad shoulder pain and leg pain, I started really appreciating the free massages. I started thinking, this isn't bad, I can go play rough and tumble and she can fix me. It was redefining our relationship. Until she caught on. Drat!! Now when I come home with a bad shoulder or something, she looks at me and says, "I'm tired, maybe tomorrow I'll take care of your shoulder." Next thing you know, I will have to go her website and schedule a massage. Not to mention pay her. Well, like all things in life, enjoy the good stuff while it lasts. I'm going to stand under...
There is this one game called return man 3 the season. It is really fun. I would rate it a 100/10 Its that good. Its like a football game many people play it. These are the coolest controls in the game a,s,j, thats it. I hope the people that made the game make another one better than that, how could they beat that though?
Busy week trying to finish up some essays and study for my anatomy test. I am not great at anatomy. Watching Hannah do her bolo forms right now. No one showed up for sparring class....I guess it is just too nice outside!
Nothing much is happening today. I plan to finish all homework before spring break starts.
I have been feeling a bit sick the past 2 days. I hope I can get better before testing.
No sleep Sunday night. Feeling like I had to throw up most of the afternoon. Still able to work and do some make-up tests. Feel better today, but still not 100%. Got my physical testing tomorrow morning, since we are not able to attend Saturday morning. Hope I feel better tomorrow.
We are nearing the final lap and that light at the end of the tunnel is not a train. It's looking like Mr. Ryan is pushing hard with his numbers, throwing down the gauntlet and letting the others smell his exhaust. Well Mr. Ryan, let us commence with the game. There's nothing better than a good competition. There's an old military saying, "What you got in your pack, is what you got in your pack." You might need to let that one marinate a little. It basically means what you bring to the fight or game with you, is what you got. Simple but effective. Can't wait to see you all on Saturday. Let's do this thing!!!
This should be my last journal entry and I am not sure how much I can write since I am also doing my essays right now. Class today was great! So many new belts that need to learn their new poomsae and self defenses. It makes the classes go by really fast because you aren't trying to think up random things for them to do. I will be happy when cycle is done and I can focus more on the students and less on myself.
Today my mom went to work today. I know she works really hard at work because she is always hard on me about working hard. Also she is a good mom but gets on me a lot. She also does a lot for me that I'm really grateful for everything.
Good work out at Crossfit this morning. Hard morning at King Tiger since my computer is dead. Frustrated without it. On my second Spark and its only 3:00. Need to work on essays this week.
I have a lot to do this week and I really don't want to do any of it. I've heard making a list helps. I'm pretty good at pullups now
Went for a run this weekend, and stopped a few times to get in sets of pushups, situps and plank holds. It is not unusual for me to add burpees or pushups, etc. to my runs. This time, however, I did my situps on the concrete, wearing only shorts and a tshirt (no jacket). I now have two abrasions on my tailbone from the concrete. Bad idea.
Nothing interesting happened today besides me slaving away at homework and projects. I better be at class tomorrow or Master Chelly will skin me alive.
Yesterday was a good day. Did mentor session with Master Randle in the morning. Reviewed my questions with her. Did BB class and the Instructor Dege helped me with Bolo form. Kind of have the form done but need to practice more. Next week is testing. 2 weeks away from spring break. My dad's friend and his family are visiting us during spring break from Detroit. It will be cool.
Well this is the last week before the physical and written exam. Hopefully it goes by slow so I can get all these essays done. Have most of them done but just a few more to go!
Helped with Jr tigers this morning and then family class. I worked with a relatively new student in family class who took the Jr tigers class first. She seemed to pick up quickly. I worked with Daniel mostly on self-defense and sparring combinations. He did not seem to want to work on his poomsae. I guess it is because he doesn't know it, so he would be going outside his comfort zone. We worked on several palgwe forms in black belt class. I can get through palgwe oh chang now. I might still get confused, but I think I will get that soon. Now to work on double stick 2. The other part of black belt class was empathy training with Instructor Auerbach. We each taped one hand and the first challenge was trying to tie our belts. Many were successful and some were not. We worked on various blocks and...
Today I am doing my empathy training. So I am currently typing this with one hand. Kind of annoying, but in the end, it will all be worth it. I got two essays done and will hopefully get another two done tomorrow. Today I played football, ate a hotdog, and played with only one hand today. Football was probably the hardest. Well, good night.
On Friday I went on a field trip to myrtle beach. It was really fun we went to ripleys ,and the aquarium. we didn't get back till 12 i went to sleep when I got home. We had to get up by 4:30 and get there by 5:10 I had so much fun at myrtle beach I wish we could do that eve very day.
Good morning everybody. Yesterday had a lot of tests in school and did pretty well in all of them. I came back from school and played basketball with my dad. Then had my dinner and started working on my written test. I am almost ready. Will be in Tae Kwon Do at 10.30m to do my mentor session with master Randle and show her all my written test answers too!!! See you all soon!
Today I read that daylight savings is coming up with time to change the clocks. The article was related to sleep and daylight savings messes up the body and the two days after we change the clocks there are a lot more strokes and heart attacks. The article suggested sleeping in the next morning and taking a nap in the afternoon. I find it interesting that something as simple as changing your sleep schedule could cause such drastic health problems. I don't know how those working various shifts keep a schedule that is healthy.
Hello my fellow Cyclists, If you missed the Facebook post, I'm sending it here as well. We have a service project. It will be on April 9th starting at 9 am and ending at 12 pm. Location: Church of God Children's Home 3485 Orphanage Cir Concord, NC 28027 Anyone can attend. We will be performing yard work and doing some painting. Please bring gloves and some garden tools if you have them. Please wear your King Tiger t-shirt but bring a spare work shirt as well in case you are painting. Also bring a lunch. This is a home for children whose families cannot care for them full time. The kids are usually home on the weekend. They are an awesome group of people who work there. I will be your POC if you have any questions. My contact info is below. Thanks Brian Foster 704-577-3140 This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
I would say my creative form is half done. Need to shoot a video and post it to the facebook site. 16.3 at the box this morning. 5 rounds of 10 hang power snatches (75 lbs) 4 rounds of 5 C2B pull ups Also interesting to do the strength training after the WOD. 2 x 5 thrusters 2 x 3 thrusters (125 lbs) Finished with some ab work, pushups, and stretching.
Yesterday was good day. Went to Kumon and swimming class. Very tired day though. I did not write my journal yesterday as my dad was travelling and he is back this morning. I need to make sure I am prepared for the test next week
While the days are winding down there is still a lot to do. Looking forward to the empathy training class this weekend. Also looking forward to the community service project in April. Thank you Instructor Foster for putting that together!
Very busy at the moment. I did half a workout today, I'm pretty annoyed about it. I'll do the rest tomorrow with my tomorrow's workout.
Worked on HSPU, C2B and ring dips 400 m run 100 wall balls 400 m run More dynamic kicks with Master Evins Testing at Lake Norman tonight
Man, this is a really late journal, I've been staying up a while now working on a social studies project for school. I finally got it done. I can't wait for my field trip to camp thunderbird soon. Sadly, for some reason, my school decided that since we're middle schoolers, we only get one field trip per grade. Very strange. Like, I was hoping we could got Virginia or something REALLY fun. When I was in 5th grade, we got to go to Myrtle Beach! Sadly, we only stayed there for a few hours then came back and got back at 12:00am. Man, I was so carsick. I threw up twice. Well good night people.
Today I assisted with testing. I watched as many of my friends got new belts and I was very happy for them. Though, I accidentally put my pants on backwards and had to run off to change. Oops.
Tomorrow Im going on my field trip to the symphony . The symphony is just like opera singers just sings for us. our field trip is at 10:30 to I don't know? The teachers say that the field trip id our recess but recess is at 9:50 how does that work. I mean why should that be our recess when we don't even have any.
Well this is my 2nd to last journal (was told I only need 30). Working on my essays this weekend and trying to finish up most of my requirements. Going to help with the belt testing today and tomorrow so that should be fun!
Yesterday was a great day. Did all my home work when i came back from school. Then went to Tae Kwon Do to help Jr Tigers, did my mentor session, mentee session and then Black Belt Class. It was fun at BB class yesterday. I kind of sprained my ankle and it hurts. I have PE in school today and i really hope i dont strain too much. Have regular class, Leadership and sparring tonight...
Hello my fellow Cycleillians, Master and Instructors, Break out the the flip flops and thongs, spring is upon us. What a great day to be still kicking. Had a opportunity to work on the new vehicle, well new to me. It's a 2001 Suburban that I bought from a guy who could have been an arms dealer. This vehicle has some history with the law, so the former owner went to jail and I got a Suburban for the price I wanted. As soon as I get the blood stains out, that babies going to be booming. It must have been a challenge to draw the chalk lines on the drivers seat. Instructors camp was a trip. It's still a blur in my head, but it is soo much fun getting around a group of people like the people you find at instructors camp. If you haven't been, I highly recommend...
Still feeling sore from Instructors Camp, but stairs aren't as painful as yesterday. Thank you Master Evins for the generous credits from Instructors Camp.
Hello, today was the craziest super tired day for me. At school I ran 12 laps around the track and went back in.(4 laps=1 mile). Then I realized I forgot my jacket out at the track, so I had to go another half a mile there and back which gave me 4. My running was crazy for me. I only took about 10 to 20 second walking breaks. So when I got on the bus, I was told my face looked like a cherry and a tomato combined. Yes, it was true. Good night fellow BBC people. I hope yall had a good instructors camp. I know, i'm southern.
My Basketball trainer trains me out like nothing you have ever seen before. We do about up to about up to 14 sparring rounds each time we train. We train about once ever two weeks. We work on passing, handles, and shots. I can tell when he works me out that Im getting better on everything.
This is kind of disappointing. My mom told me that she wanted me to drive my sisters to swimming. She changed her mind and told me that she could drive them, but it was a couple minutes before 6:30 right before sparring class. I'm not trying to kiss up, but i thought that a sparring class today would be cool. I'm going to ask Master Mrs. Hartle and Master Mr. Hartle if I can help with testing. I haven't done that so i thought it would be pretty cool to terrorize children.
Instructors camp was great! I love seeing all the people from the far away schools! I love that King Tiger is such a huge family. People that you only see once or twice a year....but it's like you are the best of friends...or siblings. So tired at the end, but sad to go! Master Evins awarded fantastic credits for those who attended: 4 Weekend BB Classes 2 Weekday BB Classess 4 Sparring Classes 2 Leadership 1 Credits 2 Leadership 2 Credits 3 Bonus Class Credits WHOOOOO HOOOOO! Thank you sir!
Worked out at King Tiger with our BBC ladies. 2 mile run followed by 36 pushups, 39 situps, 23 burpees, 26 v-situps, 2 min plank hold
Good day yesterday. Came back from school and went to Tae Kwon Do. Did regular class, leadership and then Hyper. Master Evins made us do a lot of kicks. I also got my 1st Poom certificate from Kukkiwon too!! Getting ready with my BB written test. Final home stretch with 4 weeks to go until final testing
Did a leadership 1 today to help the green belts before their testing Thursday for high green. They are very very ready. Today started of pretty slow (still very sore from instructor camp) but at least class was pretty subdued eventho we went thru all the color belt self defenses and poomsaes. Going to be a short week since the school is not having classes Wednesday and Thursday for belt testing, but going to help out so at least there is that. It was great seeing everyone and meeting new people at instructor camp!
I am still sore from Instructors Camp and went to class in Belmont this afternoon. I made it almost to the end of class and then heard someone ask about Sally. You know it wasn't me. Icy hot again for me tonight! It is official! I am now a military Mom. Jeremy signed up today with the Navy and he expects to ship out in October. This process has been distracting for the last few weeks, but at least now we know what he will do after he graduates high school.
I had my game last Wednesday. We lost by one point. After all that my team and I had our Ceremony at the Rib shack. 0f course I got ribs but those ribs didn't fill me up. I would give the ribs a 96%.Me and 2 other of my teammates tried lemonade, with sprite it was really good.
I just got back from my run a while ago. Easy easy run only 1 measly mile. I'm going to do more. Anyway, I'll be in class today and whatnot.
I can feel that I need to rest. We had a great camp with lots of hard training, late nights and long travel. My body tells me when my immune system is compromised, and I try to listen. No workout this morning for me. Will go for a run shortly. Should be back to full strength tomorrow.
Couple of days break from journaling. Had a wonderful trip to Raleigh with my school. We learned the history of NC and why Raleigh was chose to be our capital. Had to leave by 5.30am on Friday morning and came back at 8pm. I was really tried. Spent most of Saturday taking rest. Had a good day yesterday and finished all my requirements. Played basketball with my dad and also played with my friends. The weather was great
What an awesome Instructors Camp this weekend! I can honestly say that I am successfully sore and tired and had a great time. The quadriceps and hamstrings are the most sore. I much prefer that to sore throat and sinuses though. Thanks Master Nurse Tucker for letting me join you and your kids on the ride to and from and helping me study too. It is always fun to train with and meet new friends and get to see friends we don't see often.
Hello. I was quite sleepy most of the day. I worked on school work mostly. Made dinner. Not much else.
For some weird reason I could not log the stuff that I did. It giving me a weird error. Hopefully it is working again so that I am able to log my stuff. That's all, goodbye.
Really wanted to go to Instructor's camp this year. And I was going to try, even if it meant getting there at 9 or 10 PM on Friday. I decided not to because I'm so tired in the evenings. There was no way I could safely make the drive after a busy day, in the dark. So glad I did not commit to go. Saw 20 patients in the office while orienting a new employee. One of my patients at the hospital needs to go back to the OR later this AM. If I had signed up for the camp, I would have had to cancel anyway. I'm getting away from the perspective that I must do everything now. There will be instructor's camps years in to the future and I will get to go to many in the future. Despite my internal drive to do everything perfectly, I'm only human....
This is a very early post... Its 5am now and i am almost ready to go to school. We have a school trip to Raleigh for all 4th graders and i need to be in school by 6am. I am pretty sure i will be sleeping on the way up and down. Yesterday my dad and i did our eye check up.... not too bad.. a just a click up and we are deciding if we need new glasses.
Well I'm pretty much packed for instructor's camp. I can't say I'm not nervous. I'm not looking forward to the homework I'll have to catch up, but hopefully this camp will give me more drive. I'm beginning to feel lazy like most seniors do at this time. Pretty weak of me.
Packing and looking forward to Instructors Camp this weekend. It will be nice to see people we typically only see at Instructors Camp and always some new ones. We will miss you Master Randle, Master Ritchie and others that are regular attendees. On previous black belt cycles I have tried to be caught up enough that not keeping up with requirements would not be a problem. This time has not worked out as smoothly. Poor planning on my part and a few unexpected hiccups as well.
Still trucking along. Fitness feels pretty good. Haven't lost the weight I wanted for this cycle yet. More work to do. Handstand Push Ups are getting better. DU jump ropes not so much. WOD: 3 rnds 30 wallballs (20 lb) 20 box jump 10 Power Clean (135 lb) Hitting extra ab work after every workout, and extra stretching. More Poomse work with Master Evins, and Instructor Camp prep
Yesterday was good but really long. Went to Kumon from school and from there straight to Tae Kwon Do. Did my regular class, leadership and then Hyper. Yesterday was Wednesday and we do sparring in Hyper. It was fun. I sparred against DeAndre. He is tall and very quick and big too!! i love sparring against him and anyone bigger and stronger than me. Makes me get better.
This was a while ago, but I was out running one day and I saw a squirrel. I guess it didn't see me because I kept running and got pretty close to it before it went nuts and bolted. Hahaha, get it? Nuts, as in what squirrels eat and nuts and bolts as in a mechanical fastening device. Hahaha
Afterschool today, I helped out a coding class and got paid, which was nice.
I was doing some poomsaes last night, taeguk yi chang in particular, and thought back to when I was learning it. I was Master Randle's mentee when she was testing for black belt, probably her first Dan. I remember getting confused easily and she was always so patient. I still do and she still is. That seems so long ago. I'm sure at that time, I never even thought that I would have a black belt too. Thank you ma'am! You rock!
Hello, today I got some decent requirements done. I think i'll wrap it up short for todays journal. For me, today was just a normal day. However, I did make an accomplishment of finally crossing someone up in basketball that was really good. It's strange, i'm great/decent at so many different sports. Example: Football, basketball, baseball, and soccer. Well, good night.
Helped with adult class this evening. It was fun. Back is still sore from yesterday's jump kicks. Surgery yesterday. Surgery tomorrow. Orienting a new employee tomorrow. Anxious to see how she will fit in. Working short staffed is not going to work for too long. Choosing a group health plan. Can't remain competitive for good employees without benefits. Plus insurance is expensive even for the crappy plans. Tired all the time. Classes are a good break from the stress.
The quote up there really struck me. He was getting mad at us for not playing the right notes and started getting angry. He stopped put down he baton and looked at us. He said do you know how to be successful in life. We said practice. He said yes but something more than that. He said you must fail first. He said that on like Friday or something but struck me today. You have learn from your failures. Hope everyone had a great day!
Wanted to call out everyone in this BB Cycle to come up with ideas on Community Service. It is really important that we give back to our community and based on the discussions we have had with Instructor Dege, Instructor Foster and Mr Ryan we have a few thoughts. Last year we collected school supplies for under privileged children; Jeff Gordon hospital or any other ideas???
Yesterday was fun day but really long too. I helped out Jr Tigers. It is always fun to help the little kids. Then i had a great mentor session with Master Randle. She is really very good and makes sure that I work on every small detail as well. I really love getting things perfected. My dad spoke to Instructor Foster,Mr Ryan and Instructor Dege on various community service projects. We will have to come up with something quickly.
Quick post before bed. Partially cleaned my room today which was an amazing achievement. Did double classes with my pal, Eric. We're going to be starting a new unit in statistics tomorrow.
We did pushups several different ways in class tonight, but they all hurt my wrists. I noticed tonight while doing pull-ups, with a band of course, that my wrists don't hurt as when I do pushups, but my elbows are sore. I will try cutting my fingernails shorter and doing some pushups on my fists. That might give my wrists a break once in a while. I need to find the rest of my answers and study up for the written test. It will be here before I am ready.
Today I did a long workout. I will be very sore but it was worth it. I hope to catch up on my requirements.
Busy day. The construction in front of the hospital is unpredictable. On any given day I don't know ho long it will take me to get to the hospital. Good class tonight. Back pain when I land those jump kicks.. Between adult class yesterday, black belt class tonight and surgery earlier today, I'll be sore tomorrow. Max, my cat, fussed at me when I came home late. He does not get that I'm working. He seemed offended, like he was my dad and I broke curfew. Night fellow cyclistts.
Please put down ideas for Community Service. We need to get it done. Anyways had a great day today. Got a 100% on a Wrting Assignment which was worth 600 points. Proably as much a Finals. It was bascailly a final for the class because it last time I will be doing a Wrting assignment in the class. It is done this quarter. So happy. Then in all the other classes we just took notes and worksheets like the Normal. Came back home and did homework and requirements. Then went to BB class. My ankle stated hurting for some reason. I almost had to sit out but I came through it. Doesn't hurt as much know. Hope everyone had a great day!
Today we got released two hours early at school so I got so much requirements done. It was crazy! I ran 5.3 miles today, which I thought was impossible for me, thennn, I had to do sparring class. Today was very painful, yet worth it in the end. Oh, by the way, if anyones wondering, I do have my white belt essay complete I just still need to turn it in. Well, good night fellow black belts.
Yesterday was a really long day. Did regular class, Leadership and Hyper. We had to do a lot burpees as few people did not focus and were lazy. Hyper was fun as we did Kama forms.
When I got home from work today it was still a little light out, so Matthew and I ran a little over a mile. It will be nice when it is still light when we are finished too.
I think it gets harder and harder everyday to make sure I am up to date with my requirements and still on track. I like it when I can just focus on learning new stuff without making sure I meet the requirements for the day.
Think I have my brick breaking routine in mind. 13 bricks in multiple breaks. Also been working on my creative form with a cane. pretty happy with my longest run in a while on Sunday (4.5 mile) Today's workout Heavy Push Press - This hurt my shoulder a lot WOD: 800 m run 100 jump rope 25 thrusters (95 lb) 50 KBS (55 lb) 25 thrusters 100 jump rope 800 m run No pain from this workout.
Pretty normal day today. Nothin much. Did work at school like normal came home did requirements and did homework. Then went to Hyper had a mentor session with Instructur Weeks and came back home. Went to a class and finally go to write the journal. If you are reading this and your part of the BB cycle please call a charity and look into it for us to go as a group. The Men's Shelter is not calling back. We need to get that done.
Ahhh, well, yesterday was a good day. I played football and baseball a lot. I was outside for hoouurrs. Then I went inside, did requirements, and finished my kicks.
Yesterday was fun day. I played with my sister and my friends. We had a great time. I finished all my requirements by noon and played post that. Watched Oscars for a little before i hit bed. Getting ready for school and long day / week ahead of me.
Today was pretty uneventful. I mainly studies for my statistics test tomorrow and focused on pushups and situps. I look forward to class tomorrow.
After helping out with Jr Tigers and family class yesterday, I worked with Daniel again on his self-defense. He is definitely feeling confident with it even though he still mixes them up a little. He enjoys taking me down on #1. We also worked on sparring combinations some. We could definitely work on that some more. I look forward to working with him on his new poomsae. Last night I did push-ups and sit ups with my cousin on speakerphone. That was different. She has done many of the physical requirements with me on previous black belt cycles also. I keep asking Matthew to go running with me and he finally said yes. We went about 2 miles. It has been too long since I last ran and it wasn't pretty, but it was nice that Matthew was encouraging and didn't leave me in the dust like Jeremy has done in...
Hello. Nothing much happened today. I did my homework and we had family over. That's all goodbye.
Today was where I did basically all my homework. Took forever but payed off at the end. Had to do 75 Cornell notes. If you know what that is. That took an hour. It was hard. My hand still hurt. Went to Church, ate lunch played with friends and did homework. That's how my day went. Anyways hope you had a better than I did!Lol
Yesterday was a pretty good day. Went to BB class. BB class was really good. I also did my mentee session before BB class. Came back home and had lunch and finished my assignments and requirements. Watched a movie and then hit bed. Going to finish all my requirements by morning and then get stuff ready for next week
Still having problems tracking requirements on the black belt site. Since no one else is having these problems, I assume it is my technology that is the problem. Will keep track on paper until I can figure out the problem. Family in town for CIAA, missed class this weekend, but had fun with my niece. Every year, I get sick around CIAA. Don't know whether it was form the crowds at the games, or the spring allergies. Even though I did not go to the games this year, feel my body trying to fight off something. Trying to support my body. An asthma exacerbation is no joke. I truly don't have time to be sick for 3 months. And I really detest steroids even if they do work.
Has to miss weekend blackbelt class today. Kinda stung because I enjoy them and really wanted to go but wasn't able to attend. Guess I will have to miss next week's also because it is instructor camp!
Ahaaaaa. About to have some really nice food. Had a very busy day. Went to BB and sparring. Got a 30min brake then went straight to Music classes. Had a very busy day. Family calling me right now to eat. Hope everyone had a great day!
