Candidate Journals

Teacher workdays are over. We have an open house tomorrow and half day on Mon. I hope this year is as good as last. I am a little excited and a little bummed summer is over.

When I was walking my dog, a person rode up on his skateboard and Tyson, my dog kept pulling the leash to try to catch to him! It was very hard because he is a strong dog. Soon he forgot about it. After a couple walked passed us and Tyson did not hear them and he freaked out! It was very funny.

I had school boot camp this morning. I got a chance to look over my school and meet new people. It was a lot of fun.

Today at school we did a lab in science. We are going to do 3 labs next week.In social studies, we are going to do current events. I have the best day ever.

I am able to bend my leg 126 degrees. I only have about 10 more degrees until I can bend it the same as the other one. At PT today, I did a lot of dynamic stretches and I will have to continue to do them every day. I am leaving today to go up to the mountains with my uncle and cousin so I will still keep up with my requirements there.

Tuesday was upsetting, i went to try-out for my school's tennis team. My school's website said tryouts were at Northmeck Highschool because our school having the tennis courts repair. So i went on at the time the website said ant waited, nobody showed up. After calling to both Northmeck and Hopewell, i was told that the information on the website was from last year and they had no idea when try-outs were. Then they gave me the tennis coach number and told me to ask her, i called the number and and person who answered was not the coach and said i had the wrong number. Finally two days later my tennis coach for the summer called the school and was finally able to get the tennis try-out date (which is this Monday). But for now on if i see information on the school website, im going to call and confirmed...

Today me and my friends brother swapped places. My brother was with my friends brother, and i was with my friend and his other brother. I had a fun time in there pool and also we played a little outside. Then i had to go home and rest to get ready for tae kwon do.

today started out with a morning run and also a lot of requirements. once i got done i with my requirements i went to eat breakfast at ihop with my mom it was me and here all day long we spent so much time together we did do some things for the house like cleaning the house (i was board) and also buying new stuff for the house (i was board again) we did all a girl would do and the part i loved most was when went to a furniture store i was chilling on the recliner and i was playing on my phone and i got my dog i new leash ! when i got back home i went to black belt class it was cool i did wang ho 1 and 2 and basically poomsaes then i went to PMAA i worked on some brake aways and now...

Today I was able to get quite a bit accomplished. Worked with my mentor, took black belt class and then PMAA class. After standing on the mat for 3 hours my back and knees are killing me. I'll get a massage tomorrow and hopefully be ready to train with Master Hama on Saturday. I paid my registration fee for the PMAA beach training and paid for Master Hama's sparring class tonight. I love checking things off my list!

interesting week. absorbing, engrossing, fascinating, riveting, gripping, compelling, compulsive, captivating, engaging, enthralling, agonizing, difficult, devising, exasperating, costly, ....and if I went into all the details well Again I certainly wouldn't make the midnight cutoff. Its all good. I am going to go to the canal soon and float out with the tide and return when it does. Some good mediation time and nature I think may do me some good. Night everyone.

I waited pretty late in the day to start my requirements. I started in the afternoon because my friend came over in the morning. I got it all done and then, I took a 3 mile walk with my mom during my brother's football practice.

Today was tropical day today at summer camp. I wore a T-Shirt that had waves,and my dad's hat that had flowers on it. We also had Cona Ice.

Today i went to bb class and pmaa we learned disarms and other things was was fun

today we went to play golf.  We also bought some golf shoes.  They look really cool.  It was really fun. We went to the driving range and went on the golf course.  It was a really fun day.

Today my brother went to his school's open house. He's going into first grade and most of his kindergarten friends from last year were here to be at Hope Academy. His teachers' names are Mrs. Riley and her assistant Mrs. Cassel. My brother can't wait to be in school this August. My open house is tomorrow since I'm in middle school. I can't wait to get back into school.

Today I did all of my requirements and played xbox for a little while. After I went to Tae Kwon Do. And then I went home to eat dinner. I had a fun day today.

I took the kids and dog on a short run tonight. It was nice to get out there together. Mom will be very jealous. She will just have to live though. She is at the nights game in a box suite.

Today I went to my Mom's school today. I played minecraft andp put abels on books. I had tacos for lunch and pizza for dinner. I rode my bike around my neighborhood.

Took 2 classes with Mrs. Pam today. Got my Leadership 2. When I got home I went to play basketball with my friend Chris. Tomorrow. I have a 6th grade boot camp that I have to go to. Get to learn about the school.

Today was my first day of school. I got to learn about my teachers. They were very nice. I had an awesome day.

This week has been a cool one. Also tomorrow it will be the last day of my brothers camp. Plus also my cousin are visiting from Conneticut. When my brother is at camp I do my physical requirements. And I can not wait for tae kwnon do . I can not wait for what happens tomorrow.

today was smooth i woke up with a run and also a walk with my dog i got a fence!!! today its very cool its more private and also good for my dog because now i can just make him go outside and do what he need's to do and then he can come back inside and the i got to scan the yard for poop lol :)i did step on poop it was not good it was on my roshes so bummer right about 12pm i went to a my grandmas house and they wanted me to see an apartment for them and i did it was really nice and we went and now they did the application and they got accepted and there moving in on saturday and when we got finished i got home walked my dog and now doing my journals and about to go to sleep...

Today I spent time with my grandma and my moms friend that is my friend.  With my grandma we stayed home and watched tv together.  Then we went out to my grandmas community club house and watched the older people play ping pong. The we went to Taco Bell it was good

Made it through hump day of my first work week back. It is nice to be back with my colleagues, but It is still tough to get up. I keep falling asleep when I get home. I heed to make it through so I don't stay up late. I have to break the cycle.

Today at summer camp we saw Mall Cop 2 at King Tiger. I don`t know why we did not go to the movie theater.

I tried jogging for the first time in a few weeks. I was able to do it normally but it still hurt so I didn't go for very long. I also volunteered for the last time this summer today. I was kind of sad but I had a lot of fun this summer working with Holy Angels residents. I also almost had to go to urgent care because I stubbed my toe on the base of a bag and my heart started beating insanely fast and hard. This has happened before and I went to a cardiologist who said that the next time it happens, I needed to have a test done. Well, I left class early to go get the test done at urgent care but my heart stopped pounding in the car on the way there!!!

Today i played Minecraft and rode my bike. I had a steak burrito for lunch and chick-fil-a for dinner.The steak burrito was good and spicy. I did not expect it to be spicy.

Today I went to class and led white belts. I also had a me tee session with a white belt. She knew almost everything for a white belt. 

Took 3 classes tonight. Mrs. Pam wore me out. I am so tired. I just want to take a bath and go to bed. After I eat of course. Got a lot of requirements done today.

Need some motivation today. Just got home from work and I swear I could go to sleep right now. I'll see if a little Spark can get me up and running. Will log requirements later tonight.

Have had a pretty good day so far. Today is Wacky Wednesday in Summer Camp, so had a great time teaching those guys. I'm also halfway through my white belt challenge week! Its been interesting and fun so far. I've gotten tons of questions daily about it. The funniest one is a student who asked me if I was in trouble and had to start over again!

Today we woke up and ate breakfast. After that we went to the YMCA for my brothers soccer camp. While he was at soccer I went to shoot hoops. When soccer was done we came home and ate lunch. Now we are relaxing and I am practicing my poomsaes. I can not wait for tomorrow. Bye.

So happy I will be home later today but embarrassed to say it will be straight to bed. Admitting it, beyond exhausted and have to recharge. The physical aspects of these shows is gruling however thankful I am still able to do it. Funny occurance that I am sure some will get a laugh, our staff got introduced to spark for the first time, lets just say my supply I had with me was wiped out. Guess canisters of spark will be added to show supply list :).

Today was a good day I went running and I did my requirements and had fun then I went and helped my mom at the school all day.

today i worked hard i did a lot of running today and also i read a little bit of my book before i took a run i fished i walked my dog he did everything he needed to do i took hime back inside and i went to work with my dad we worked for a while until 12pm because thats the time i was going to get dropped of with my cousins to the white water center and we had fun we ate and also it rained so we had to stay in a shelter because it was thunder storming to bummer well when i got back home i went to black belt class and PMAA i had fun and relaxed i reviewed some stuff and now im back home so goodnight!!!

Today at summer camp we went to the Sprayground`s. I got really wet. I mean soaking wet and the was freezing. But luckily we go to the movies tomorrow and hopefully I bring something warm to wear.

Today I didn't do any of my requirements except for running. After that I played xbox and then I went to Tae Kwon Do. And then I ate dinner. I had a fun day today.

Great poomsae class today! All of that time practicing with Master Moon, aka Wifey, in Africa paid off. I'll have to practice more on the minor details for WTF poomsaes and I'm so lucky to have her as reference. I'll have to practice harder so that when she gets here stateside, we'll be able to compete in pairs poomsae. Of all the years I've despised practicing forms, I've grown to like it more as I'm less likely prone to injury than sparring. :)   Here is another picture from Africa. Back in the swing of things. My tennis elbow is causing some problems but at least my knees are better.....one injury at a time, please! It's embarrassing that my most current injury is not even Taekwondo related. It's a repetition injury from my keyboard at work. How wimpy is that? Today was pretty busy, I didn't get to stay at home for very long. I went with my mom to drop off my brother at his camp and then, we went straight to an orthodontist appointment. After that, we went home so that I could get my uniform and other stuff I needed for class. I had therapy right after that and it went very well. We had to go pick up my brother too and then I went to Belmont. I helped with the 4:30 and 5:30 classes and I took the 6:30 black belt class. I really enjoyed helping with the classes today because we got to think of about 15 different ways to do Kwon Sool. In black belt class, we did a lot of poomsaes and worked on the changes to Koryo.

Had fun tonight in class. Master Shin is on vacation so Mrs. Pam and other black belts help to teach the classes. I got a lot of my requirements done.

I spent this morning at the Tea Plantation in Charleston, SC tasting tea and finding out that there is one tea leaf that makes many different blends..    It's all about going through a  process .   I thought it took different tea leaves for the diversed tea blends. I guess you live and learn.  Returned to our hotel deengergized from the heat and humidity.   I think maybe to do a few requirements .   Then it will be bedtime.

schools starting on thursday for me!ahhh! I think i had a nice summer though.I had a camp at Queens university, were we swam 6 hours.Than my sisters and I went to Europe by ourselfs,that was fu.n. My twin and I stayed with our Grandparents in France for two weeks(by ourselfs). than we went home as UM's(unaccomanied minors) and that was fun. Than we had a cooking camp at cpcc, and that was really fun too. And than, our aunt and her freind came and we went to new York together. And, today/yesterday, i went on the lake, went tubing and knee boaring at my freinds sleepover. hope you had a great summer too!

Wow, that countdown timer is pretty cool! The heat is on! Still getting through these requirements, slowly but surely. Some things are easier than others, depending on what's more sore that day. I do have some vacation time next week, gonna see if my wife and I can escape to Charleston or Hilton Head for at least a couple of days...

Had our first teacher workday yesterday. It was nice to sew everyone, but I am not quite ready for the swing of things. The summer went fast. I cam homes and took a nap. I am not quite used to getting up early.

I must do better about fitting in journal time ( before midnight). I have had a crazy schedule lately and this time of night is edit time, as long as I am up and filling good. Last week, Thurs & Fri I didn't feel well at all and did not do good on requirements. Today started out good. This morning my neighbor and I began a workout schedule again. . It was so nice, I really have missed our mornings. For four years we used to work out, stretching and lifting, and walking everyday, then we both had some medical issues that just made it difficult. It felt really good to be working out with her again today. I worked primarily on requirements. It felt good to knock so much out early in the day. I'm back in full swing and enjoying every convenience that I didn't have in Africa including unlimited internet service. :) From this past weekend, I was able to take black belt class and learned Hapkido techniques 21 through 32. Hooray! Following black belt class, I taught sparring class. Very surprised and honored that Master Shin took my class. It's not everyday that I get to teach a class with someone that has his presence and caliber of awesomeness.  Here is a picture from Africa.

Today I did all of my daily requirements and played outside with my friends. After a while we played inside for a while and then I had to go to Tae Kwon Do. After that I ate dinner. I had a fun day today.

Today was not a very good day. A ton of bad stuff happend to me. But I will not bore you with the details.

Today i helped my uncle video tape a video for the new coming teachers. It took a few hours because we had to go through his high school and video tape clips then he would edit them.

Today, I went shopping for school uniform stuff. I'm kind of excited that school is starting but I'm also a little bit worried about how I am supposed to get everything done along with homework and classes. I took class in Belmont at 4:30. Ms. Pam taught class and I really enjoyed it. We practiced poomsaes and self defenses. My favorite part was the self defenses because we did them out of order to memorize them better. After that class, I helped with the 5:30 and the 6:30 class.

Day 3 of my migraine. Feeling a bit better. Back on it tomorrow.

I went to the Hyper Pro class today. We practiced sword form. I thought it was very neat.

Had a fun time at master shins class then I went to hyper pro class and hand fun there.

Soo, summer is slowly ending. AKA for my school, school is starting on thursday! Well i don''t care i mean like who cares its just a whole bunch of hours wasted on not having fun. :/ CMS is lucky for not having school start so early buuut this year we have at LEAST one day of break we didn't have that last year!

Yesterday I went to Carowinds with my dad and sister. I got to go on the Fury325 like 5 times in a row. It was awesome. After that we went to Snoopy Planet for my sister. My sister and I went on the Woodstock Express like 20 times. After we were done with the park, we went to boomerang bay. It was awesome. Yesterday was an awesome day.

Yesterday was a slow day.   My wife drove us to Charleston and I relaxed.   As a matter of fact I primarily did just relax .  Today I must get back to requirements. 

Yesterday was a very long day but productive from the work front - - busy in our booth. Today is crazy day with breakdown tonight then load trucks tomorrow so more than likely out of pocket for a bit and unfortunately little requirements. All is good though and ready to be home. Miss my fur balls!!!

Today I pretty much did nothing besides a few requirements here and there but otherwise it was a normal day of me just sitting and relaxing.

Today was pretty good. I did my requirements after my family left. I also worked a little bit on my new skill essay. After that, I went to go see Paper Towns with my mom and my friend. It was a great movie but it skipped a lot of the good parts that were in the book.

My daughter is away at the beach this week with a friend. I am very happy for the and I know they will have fun. Mom and I miss her though. It has a=only been one day, but you get used to having people around.

Today I didn't do any requirements today because i was tired. Today my grandmother came to Charlotte for 4 months and then she is going back to India. We had fun today.

I have had an awful migraine since Friday night. Haven't been able to do anything this weekend. Hope it's better tomorrow.

Today we just stayed home and did what we usually do. I did my requirements and then did my self-defense with my brother. Then we relaxed and watched a movie, then i got back to doing what i needed to do.

Today me and my mom stayed home today. We had breakfast in bed together. We had chicken wings for dinner. It was a fun day.

Today, I stayed home alone when Dad went on a run. I played Minecraft.Then I had 2 corn dogs for lunch. After Ryan came over and we played Minecraft. I had spaghetti for dinner.

Today we woke up and ate breakfast at my grandmothers house. After we ate we went shopping and got some new clothes and they are cool. Now we are relaxing and watching TV. Then after this I will go see my cousins at my grandmothers house. Today was a good day and I can not wait for tomorrow. Bye.

did you know that Ryan Lochtes birthday is august 3?hehe....Ryan Lochtes an olympic swimmer who swims for Mac. I swim for Mac. same with cullen Jones. People who don't swim probably dont even know who Ryan Lochte or Cullen Jones are. ah well. random facts. Today I wok up at 10 to go run. fun fun fun! ugh. I hate running. so much rather swim. actually no. i rather just be in shape just like that. no sport. wouldnt that be nice? you dont do any sport, and your in shape? well actaully TKDs nice. you dont really realize you are working out a lot, but in the end, your all moist and disgusting. or your sweating drops(baaaah:b)

Today my dad went to our new house to tear down a wall in the basement. I can't wait to see what it would look like when he is finished. I can't wait to see it but first I will have to eat lunch hopefully he completes tearing down the wall when I get there at the new house.

Today I woke up at a good breakfast and then I went to Tae Kwan Do and took BBC and sparring class. Then I went to help my mom at the school. When we came home we went out to the water and had a good time.then we watched a movie and went to bed. and I'm doing this so late that it is counting for tomorrows journal instead of today's (Joy).

Two black belt classes today and a sparring class led by Instructor Hsin. Overall, today was a great day. I was happy to see all of the Belmont people on the floor taking class with me. Tomorrow, my family leave for the beach for a whole week. I can't wait.

Today, I got up pretty late. I did some requirements and then, I went downtown with some of my cousins and my family. We went to Discovery Place and it was still pretty cool. I got to do some of my stretches for therapy but I also walked around a lot. When we got back home, I finished my requirements and did the rest of my stretches. I had a really great day.

Today I went to BBC and sparring class. I also took a nap. I also watch some television and I also ate some lunch.

today i did all my requirements and then went to class. After class i went home and had lunch. Then me and my brother made some slime together. It was disgusting!!!!!!! There was one that i didn't like because it sliped right out of my hand when i squeezed it.

Today I was helping my neighbor by shoveling gravel rocks from a trailer into some buckets. Then he dumps the buckets of gravel onto a tarp and keeps filling the tarp up until its covered in gravel. I also got some help from my brother and my friends. Together we shoveled all the gravel into the buckets and the buckets start to fill up the tarp. It took about 1-hour to finish the job. After the work we were exhausted and took a brake feeling good that we finished something.

Happy dance - - - made it to the gym today. Did not have alot of time but will take what I can get. Will be a long busy day again tomorrow so lights out soon.

I went to the YMCA today. I watched Minecraft on Youtube. When I got home I went to the Saturday BBC class and sparring class. Instructor Night led sparring. I watched a half an episode of Doctor Who.

I went to Sam's Club after class today, and i tried this Latin drink call Horchata, which is a rice and cinnamon kind of drink, it was really good!

I had a very good BB class today.  We went over poomsaes, hapkido, staff and stick . It was much fun.  I am very appreciative for the instructions given by Masters Chelly and Conrad Hartle.  Instructor Dong also made sparring class fun and work.  To top off my day ,requirements.

Is it just me, or do the other candidates read each others journals also? If you read other peoples journals, have your subject thing(were i wrote hey guys) saying he guys also. just want to see. Other than that, the thing on the homescreen were it says "are you ready?" thats really cool. I keep forgetting to journal!tsk,tsk alienor. I also have to log some stuff in.
