Today was a good day, I got most of my requirements done in sparring and BB class. We did a LOT of kicks in both classes, so that was good :)

I got most of my exercises done before I went to black belt and sparring class this morning. Sparring class was fun because we did a lot of kicking. But we only got to do a little bit of sparring.
Yesterday I went bowling and to the movies with my grandparents and my brother. Today I was able to attend the Black Belt class. Still working on the rest of my cycle requirements.
Today it felt a lot easier to do sparing. I guess the expression practice makes perfect. We lost to the Buffalo Bills last night. I was there it stunk.
Today was a simple day, I got up early to do my requirments and studyed my vocabulary.Then spent the rest of the day cleaning, reading and hanging with my family. :)
Today the first thing that I did was run when I got home I watched the squirrels in my back yard then I spent about an hour on the computer trying to find a mod for minecraft and I finally did it and I felt good and I taught my sister how to do it too. Then we ate dinner with my grandma and I did my requirements and I am never doing that after dinner ever again.
I did some of my requirements outside before it started raining. I was outside with my mom while she was pressure washing. It was different to be outside but I couldn't really get on my knees for things like red belt self defense number 2. So I finished the rest inside.
I started by day again by doing by running & exercises. My mom makes me have everything done 1st thing but I am glad once it is done because it helps to do it early. It was a rainy day so there wasn't much to do outside so I spent time studying for the written test. Tonight I meditated while my mom made dinner then ate and now I am going to the movies with a couple of my friends. Looking forward to 3 classes at N. Charlotte tomorrow.

Today I had a friend over after I finished my requirements. For my running I am glad that I finished my running when I did because it started to rain when I got finished.LOL
Today i got all of my requirements done before 11:00! I also made lunch for my siblings while my dad was on a business call. the only bad thing was that i got a lot of cramps on my run. they kept coming and going away. overall, i started this day out well.
Today I helped out with the class before BBC, I held the target for this group of kids working on their sparing combinations and then I went aside and helped another girl with her sparing combinations 1-14. And of course Black Belt Class came and I took it. A new person came today and she was already my friend so I hope she felt welcome, we were even self defense partners! We also worked a lot on Pogue ill and ee (excuse my spelling please) I should practice it some more but I feel pretty comfortable with it. :-)

Day started off a little on the rough side,but after a 2 mile walk I felt a little bit better. I still need a massage. Oh well there is always tomorrow to work this tightness out.
Today I did my exercises and running really early this morning then went to my great-grandmothers around lunch time. I was looking forward to going to my great-grandmothers so that helped to motivate me to get my exercises knocked out early. This afternoon I took 2 taekwondo classes at Belmont and got in another leadership credit then tonight I went to Rita's and then to black belt class at N. Charlotte.
I woke up and got all of my requirements done. I wanted to get them done so I could go to the pool. I'm planning to do the same thing tomorrow.
Today I had to wake up and go to the track because my sister had gymnastics. Then we went to ihop and had an omelet and pancakes the we went to pick up tori, my sister. When I got home I played with my grandma. I had a good day.
Woke up around 6am today and started on my requirements. I am trying to get as many done as I can before school starts in a couple of weeks. I finished 3 of my essays this week so I am excited about that.
Today was awesome, because I got my sparring gear! It's so awesome, I was able to use it at sparring class this evening. When I was running today I felt great.
I really dislike my push ups...... I am trying to do them more military style (triceps), but they just are not getting any easier! I haven't even started to do pull ups yet....Our pull up bar is in the back (where the Summer Campers hang). I don't want to do my pitiful pull ups in front of them! So, I will probably hold off until school starts and do them when alone:) On the smiley side, I am excited to be teaching the Saturday black belt class....so here is a hint (we will see who reads this stuff).... the only weapon you will need on Saturday is a Short Stick.....we will concentrate on short stick forms and pal gwe forms! If we can get to it, we will do some drills for 2 on 1 sparring! If you need to do a Leadership 2.....let me know and I will work you...
Last night I had my first mentee session. It was kind of fun. I have to go down to tiny details because he's so amazing for his age.
Today was very exciting for me! I woke up and around 12pm I went to go take my drivers license test. I passed it!! After reaching home I went by myself to hangout with my friends and we went shopping at Birkdale Mall! It's quite fun driving on my own! I'm really excited I am able to do things on my own for once...finally!!:)
Today I woke up had breakfast then I played with my friend online and went over to his house. Then I came home and I read and cleaned up the house. After all of that I went to pick up my grandma then right after that I went to my TKD class.
Today we went to the movies, we watched walking with dinosaurs, later I ran 2 miles, instead of my usual 1 mile. During adult class I was drenched in sweat from how hard I worked.
Took it a little llite today. Caught up on some yard work from yesterday early this morning, I was hoping to get as massage today but call a round and no opening. How I wish I was I the Philippines. There I could get one at anytime and it would only cost me $10.00 for 1 hr.
Today I woke up a little later than normal because my grandmother was off and going to go my exercises with me. I still woke up very motivated and ready to get started which helped make things easier even though it had already started getting hot outside. After I finished everything I went grocery shopping with my grandmother and then played for just a few minutes when we got finished at the store then it was time to go to taekwondo class. I was only able to do 1 class today because I have youth tonight but I did get a hyper pro class credit in so that was good. Tomorrow I am going to really study on the written test more.
Today was supposed to be normal. Instead my mom picked me up from summer camp really late so I could not do a bunch of stuff.
Today my friend came over today and we went swimming. Then we went to target and bought divergent. We are about to watch it right now. I'm so excited.
Today was my sis's b-day. We went to taco bell and a ballgame to celebrate. At the end of the game, when we where walking to the car, my dad ligit almost got run over by a drunk driver. so that was a fun experience :). Got all of my requirements done. ran a full 2 miles. happy about that

To day was all in all a good day. Help on the afternoon class ,wish I could have taken the class. I had to save myself for the Black belt class. Thinking its time for a massage ,will see how I am tomorrow.
I took black belt that was hard because we were learning about stick forms that I did not practice and I was tired. then when I got home I did 50 push up and 50 sit ups.
I took both an advanced class and a weekday black belt class today. In black belt class we did a lot of extra requirements. We got in a lot of falls, kicks, and push ups.
Woke up early today to work on a few of my essays. Then I worked on my requirements. I have been trying to do a few more everyday. Tonight I went to all 3 classes got a leadership credit. In black belt class we did a lot of extra requirements. I am so tired tonight.
I am missing the cooler weather we were having because it is harder to get my exercises done when it is so hot. I got up very early again to get started since my mom told me it would be hot today. I got everything done before it got too hot outside then this afternoon I went and helped my great-grandmother with some painting at her house. I took 2 regular classes tonight and a weekday black belt. I got a leadership credit, weekday black belt credit and few extra exercises in so I felt like I had accomplished a lot. I am getting nervous about the written part of the pretest and trying to study more.

Today i went to two classes hyper pro and sparring and did a lot of black belt cycle but most of what i did was sit-ups.

This weekend was awesome. I went to Myrtle Beach and we got a hotel on the very top of the hotel. It was a beautiful view. The only sad part was it was very cloudy and about to rain. Now the weekend is over so now I back on schedule!!!
Today I finished my Leadership 2 credits and i got a leadership 1. I struggle with pushups because they take the longest for me to do. The second longest is poomsaes and self defenses. I think I've gotten better at getting my requirements done because at the beginning of the cycle it took me many many hours.
Today I went to tae kwon do I Did some extra push ups. Then I cleaned up my room.
Good day today I just have to remember my limitations. Still a little tight on the right leg. But all in all good.
Today started out with me having a bad attitude about my exercises because my mom pushes me to have everything done very early in the morning but after arguing with her I got my attitude adjusted and realized that this is something I dedicated myself too and something I want badly so I am determined to get there. I got everything done but my jump roping because my jump rope broke so we had to go get a new one then I finished up my jump roping. This afternoon I took all 3 classes and got in a leadership credit and mentee session. I also got to make the announcement about a fundraiser that the candidates from Belmont are doing together to raise money for Levine's and we already had people signing up to participate so that was exciting. I have not logged in for a while due to family issues, trying to get everything completed has been very tough with the heel injury and then the family matter. I have to move on so I need to get back into the swing of things and take care of business. I have completed worked outs at Crossfit and practiced but just not like I want to do for this cycle but August 16 is here and need to be ready Burkart out
I really didn't want to do my requirements today and then I talked to my mom and she motivated me to get it all done. My plan for myself is to just do it and get it over with. I will try again tomorrow.
Feeling good today, the right leg is about 80%. I did some leg stretches, it still a little tight but will be oh right. Some say mind over matter. But i sayMind over pain.
Today was a very fun day being able to go shopping for new clothes for school. I was able to get what I wanted, which consists of basketball shorts and shirts but still got other nicer clothing.

To tell the truth I have been forgetting to come on the site and log my requirements I've been working a lot at the dojang and when I get home I'm really tired and I as soon as I sit on the couch I fall asleep and when I awake I just go straight to bed so I can wake up the next day and go do it again the next day. Do not get me wrong I enjoy it greatly but it does make me exhausted so it makes it harder to remember to come on here and do all of this and I have 3 more weeks of combined camp and classes it should be fun I enjoy teaching and want to do it for the rest of my life owning my own martial arts school. Well I am enjoying my two days of r and r and starting...

After class we made our weekly trip to Rita's then had to go to a few stores to do some back to school shopping. I got a lot of new stuff so that is 1 good thing about back to school. As soon as I got home I was really tired but my mom pushed me to do my exercises and she pushed me hard today so we have argued a lot. I finally got everything done then watched TV until dinner. We take take-out tonight and it was great...I had one of my favorites, steak. I'm going to rest and watch TV the rest of the night because I have to get up early for church in the morning.
I was able to attend Black Belt Class today. Afterwards we went to the aquarium at Concord Mills. I ‘m going to go finish my requirements for the day.

It been a while since I've been able to do black belt cycle i was sick and my cousins came for a week. So not much time but i have done a quite a bit this morning.
Today it was raining really hard when I got up so I couldn't do my running early so I went ahead and started working on my other exercises. Once the rain let up some I went ahead and did my running in the light rain. It was hard trying to get in today around the rain but I got it done. I couldn't do anything outside today so I focused a lot of my exercises. I didn't have any classes tonight so I am looking forward to 3 tomorrow. Tonight I did meditation then went to dinner with my special friend Murphy. Murphy is 3 and so funny. We went to Friday Night Live after dinner because Murphy wanted to dance. It was fun watching him. I am really tired tonight.

today i was really tired bc i only got 4 hours of sleep. i slept in a tent in my backyard for my sister's birthday party. i got soaking wet bc it down pored the whole night. so yeh. that was fun. got my requirements done today. :)
Today I was doing koreo and did the hop-step side. Then fell on my arm. it jammed upward and hurt so much.
Today their were about 9 people at camp, their still loud kids though. During black belt class all we really did were poomsaes and self defenses.
So I do believe my right leg is a little upset with me. Yes I might have push it a little this week, but the left leg is not complaining. Get over it right leg.
Not to happy right now. Pulled a muscle on my right leg tonight, may have to cut back on some kicks for a few days. Will see if this ibuprofen will help, if not oh well I keep on going. I LOVE PAIN.
Today I went to class in belmont and took two classes then went to charlotte at 7:30 and took a class with Master Shin :) Also got all my basic kick requirements finished. I am excited about that.

I spent a lot of time working on getting extra requirements done and worked on my study guide. Then I went and took 2 regular classes and earned a Leadership credit then went to N. Charlotte for a weekday black belt class with Master Evins. I feel great getting so much done today & enjoyed black belt class a lot.
I got up at 6:00 today to get my requirements done before we went to Adventure landing. I ran a mile and a half outside this morning and the weather was really nice. I didn't go to any classes.
Today at Kate's Skating Rink we were playing a game called wipeout where on purpose you fall when the music stops. So first time music stopped I fell and got up and looked at my pinkie finger and saw my finger was completely sideways at the 2nd joint. I proceeded to freak out. I went over to Master Hartle and he jerked back into place and got me ice and everything, so thank you very much for that! It was an interesting experience. I went to buy a splint at Walgreens and went back to KTA for sparring class.
Today I did my requirements and I tried to do some falls a I fell on the floor not the mat. And I knocked the wind out of my self. oops :(
This week I will participated in the white belt challenge which is very hard to remember since the last time I was a white belt was 4 years ago.
Today Vacation Bible school. My mom said there was a surprise let us see. The surprise was our grandparents came visit. Just for the night. It was cool because I got to show them a picture of my buddy from vacation bible school. It was a great surprise because I didn't expect it.
Today was a regular summer camp Wednesday, we went to the movies. Later when we ran I got a mile in 8:39. In adult class I was a white belt so I was with the lower belts doing kicks.
So today I woke up and went to get out of bed and my leg said NOOO! Now that was a good work out yesterday. So I had breakfast and told my legs no pain no gain. Then went and got on the elliptical for 50 min and all was OK. Now the leg are happy.
I got my requirements done earlier than normal before my friend came over this morning. I did the 4:30 and 5:30 class and got a leadership credit. We did lots of falls and rolls. I hurt my ankle doing a spin fall off of a chair. I'm fine now.
This morning I had tennis camp from 9-12 and I really enjoy tennis. After tennis I came home and did my running. It was harder today to do my running since it was in the middle of the day when it was hot outside. I have realized that doing it early in the morning really helps a lot. After I finished my running I worked on getting all of my other exercises done then it was time to go to taekwondo class. I took all 3 classes tonight and got another Leadership credit.
I went to class today already done with my requirments so I got extra requirments in class.Master Shin did a hyper class so everybody took that class even the instructors and did lots of falls and rolls. :)
Today my friends came over yet again and we met at chick-fil-a for lunch. Then they came over to my house. I went to tae kwon do and nocked out a mentee session. And I had to put in some requirements.
Ran a couple of miles and worked out with Master Schneider at noon time. It is our last work out for awhile since she will be leaving for England for the month of August and then a quick trip at the beginning of September:( So much harder to work out all by yourself. Going skating tomorrow with the summer campers...that is always a work out. My candidates are all doing their white belt challenge this week. It is also a challenge for the Instructors to keep them with white belt curriculum. I love it because you can really concentrate on the basics.....
Today was a fantastic day, took the lunch time class worked on leg, then went home and worked in the yard, then work on my requirements, then took the black belt class, and ended the day with the PMAA class.I feel awesome. I think I will sleep good tonight.
