marching and laughing

today i woke up motivated to get a head start on my day because i knew i was going to be tired by the end of it. i got dressed, ate frosted mini wheats, waffles, bacon, milk, and a protein shake, i dont really change what i eat every day. i got packed up and went out to the bus, it was cold today so it was a long sleeves day. i slept on the bus like usual. in first block we worked some on kaffir boy but only got a little done because we worked on our water project most of the time, im already done so i just played on my phone and used it as free time. second block i was measured for my uniform finally and then we learned about the holocaust, how the nazis operated and thought, what i gathered is they were horrible people and killed so many, its very sad that it happened. third block we reviewed all we knew about active and passive transport then spent the rest of class doing a study guide because we have a test tomorrow on cells, i hope i do well. forth block we learned more about paintings and art in the renaissance, we did an activity where we looked at art pieces and had to determine which artist made the piece, my group was the only one who got every one right all day. i went home and began my workout, started with running and did a mile, i did it on hills in my neighborhood which has alot of hills and turns in less than 6:30 which is great for me. then i watched tv while doing push ups, sit ups, and kicks, i was sweating all over the floor so i wiped it up, push ups are still hard after i hit about half way but i got through them like every other day. i went downstairs and did sparring rounds practicing my sparring combinations which worked up a sweat really fast, then i ended with jump rope and burpees. i was really tired by the end of this all, but my day wasnt over so i went to go get a haircut, i got it cut short and off my ears for jrotc. i went home and showered to get the hair out, there was alot of it :p. after i did homework, mainly biology and history, until i needed to get dressed for police explorers in Matthew's. i had a really fun time, we got forms organized, sorted out uniforms and punishment if you were out of uniform (i wasnt), then worked on marching, we all did fantastic so he ramped up the difficulty and we still did outstanding. we went back inside for a break after about a half hour and talked about the haunted trail this year on the 18th, 19th, 25th, and 26th (obviously i will not be able to help out the 25th) and we talked about ideas and positions, time to be there and where to be, what to expect and what happened last year. it sounds really fun and i cant wait to help out, hopefully ill be a scary person in the maze. we went outside again to do marches and he did drills where he tries to make us laugh, he is hilarious and it was extremely difficult to not laugh, so naturally we all had push ups but he was funnier than anyone i have ever met, everything is funny when your not allowed to laugh. somewhere in the marches he asked if anyone wanted to be a sergeant, i raised my hand this is my first year but i knew i wanted to lead, so now i am a sergeant and have 4 people at my command and under my responsibility, but i am so excited that its only my second meeting and im already a sergeant!!!!! im going to love this. i went home and had spaghetti for dinner, now im writing this and just need to go to sleep to get ready for my day tomorrow. hopefully i wont be tired and it will be as good as today.
