AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAh

So basically the screaming is because I am tired, forgot to journal over the weekend, and I still cannot put my requirements online. No biggie right?

GOODBYE AND WHY IT'S NOT SO DIFFICULT!

So, basically, during my free periods I either do homework or go to mmy chorus teacher's room and just hang. Today, myself and some others who are just some teeny-weeny-minor theatre nerds wanted some practice as we do have rehearsal tomorrow for the school play we are doing, '8 Minutes Left', where I play a character named Patterson. But that is not for today, today is for my acting while SINGING. Now, I don't usually struggle with this, but with fast and upbeat songs, I tend to just sing the words and not the emotion. 'Goodbye' from one of my dream shows, Catch Me If You Can, stars one of the biggets tenor inspirations in the theatre world, Aaron Tveit. Basically, in this song, the character Frank Abignale wants to ensure he keeps his heroic title, and decides "it's time to leave the stage". Now this song is nowhere near any of the other difficult songs that I have performed live or even on stage, "My Petersburg' might still be the most difficult one, but this song ends off with a bang. The ending note is a belting A4, which is not hard for me to hit, but hard to sustian WITH VIBRATO, which isn't needed in this song, and in fact, Aaron doesn't even utilize vibrato throughout most of the song or even this note. However, I wanted to have my vibrato come through at the end to add raw emotion. That is the only part of the song I struggle with, and honestly, I don't even think it cracks my top 5 hardest musical theatre songs I have sung. I even think 'Leave The Light On' from the notebook is harder, and that sng isn't difficult for me either and that song has similar, if not higher notes to hit. I think what makes 'Goodbye' easier than it originally seems is the quicker tempo of the song, and the fact it doesn't really expand until the very end. Phenomenal song, and I will hunt for an audition for this musical because Mr. Frank is a dream role of mine :D.

HOWEVER SCHOOL IS STILL IN SESSION!

Yes, I am currently in a free period, and I am prepping for a miniature presentation I have today, where I teach a freshman class some math. Not too nervous, as I just have to act sarcastic and everything will be ok. But I do have another class in about ten minutes, so imma eat my salad and head on over!
