Candidate Journals

I have quite a bit of homework tonight so I'm gonna keep this pretty short. At school we got a lot of new projects and also a lot of things we have been doing recently is due tommorow which is why im busy. I had college today and we just got assigned a paper which I am worried about because i tend to procrastinate big assignments like that. After school I went to taekwondo and did black belt class and a mentor session with master Knight. Now im just doing homework

Today was fun. I went thrifting with my friends and goodwill. We found some really funny stuff like shirts and signs that say funny things. I didn't really get that many things though because not a lot of things fit. After that we went to sweet frog. Then I came home and played volleyball and that was fun too because we had a good amount of people. 

Today I woke up and I had an SAT class in the morning and then I went for a run and did my requirements. Then I went outside with my friends and we played volleyball for a bit and then after that we played a game called infection which is basically tag/hide and seek and we used like half of the neighborhood for it. Me and a few of my friends went into the trail in our neighborhood and then we found this separate trail that led up this hill behind the houses. We were there for a while but then my other friend who wasn't a tagger came and found us and he said he didnt get tagged but then he tagged us because he lied. After that we played another round but it was getting late so we went back to the court to play more volleyball and then...

Today i did the digital detox. I went to sparring class and helped out with the junior tigers and family class, and then after that I had leadership class. In leadership i did my drill I made and it went pretty well. After that I came home and went to this lunch thing that was part of the festival that was going on this whole week. There was this bouncy house but these kids kept unplugging the fan thing so it kept deflating which was funny. Also it was meant for younger kids but these older kids kept going in it. Anyways after lunch my friends came over to my house and we just played a bunch of card games. The we went outside and played volleyball in my driveway for a bit. After that we went to the court but it was too hot so we went to the pool and played...

Today was really eventful. I went to school and did my regular classes in the morning. Most of our teachers just made class like a study hall so we could do whatever we wanted as long as it wasn't too loud. I got my homework done during that time but i still have a project i need to work on over the weekend. Anyways after that the second half of the day we had what we call full house, its basically just an assembley. They just talked about upcoming events and what we need to do for service hours this year. After that we had clubs and im in art club but i didnt really work on anything because I didn't know what to draw. After I got home I went to black belt class and after that i did sparring. Today was a pretty good day. At school in math we did a review about what we learned so far and we also got our quiz scores from the other day and I got a 100% because it was really easy. We have this class called seminar and the way that our principal described it was "everything the teachers want to teach you but don't have the time in their class to teach it" so basically like life skills and things about college and just how to be a better person overall. Right now we are working on making better and more engaging presentations, and the topics we got were very random. mine was "what animal would make a good pet if it was small" The first thing I thought of was bears because its like having a teddy bear thats actually alive. Today I woke up earlier so I could run, however I ended up not having enough time to. I just did some of my requirements in the time that I had, and then I showered. After that I went to school and we didn't really do anything that interesting in math we just did a worksheet, in English we got put into pairs and had to read this really long boring text and summarize each part of it, in Sociology (which is my college class) we just took notes and did this activity about something called social location, and in History we just took notes. Something funny that happened though was there are these vending machines in the college building and this kid tried getting sour patch kids but it didn't work because the sour patch kids didn't fall and he just kept on trying and he ended up getting 4...

I forgot to journal yesterday because we went to my sisters dance recital and after that we had dinner at our neighbors house so we got home pretty late and i forgot to do a journal. Anyways today i didnt really do much I just did my requirements also I rode my bike to get the mail and it was good weather outside. I also worked on a project for school. Then i played volleyball with my friends and came home and showered and ate dinner thats it byeee

Today was fun. At school on fridays we usually have hour classes before lunch, then after lunch we do a lot of different activities. Today we did this thing where we went to all the different rooms and played different games. Our team lost most of them but they were really fun. My favorite was this game where you had a stack of cups and you had to throw paper balls at the other teams tower to try and knock it down and the other person can block it but only with one hand. It was really fun and i was good at the blocking part but not the throwing part because I dont have really good aim. After that we went to our first day of clubs. i got into art club and we just talked about what we wanted to do and then people volunteered to run for club...

I forgot to journal yesterday but i kinda forgot what i did. I like journaling because it helps me remember things i did throughout the day that I would have otherwise forgot. Anyways today was just a normal day at school. At the end of the day we went outside because our teacher wanted to play hot potato but some people got really competitive and throwing the ball really hard so we had to go back inside. I like how even though I'm literally in an Early college we do a lot of things that are like sterotypically for younger kids (like playing games or doing fun activities) but it really just helps us relax and be more connected with each other so thats nice. It also makes regular high school look scary so i know why a lot of my friends that go to regular high school think its weird...

Today we started learning piecewise functions in math which was kind of confusing but not really. The junior I was sitting next to had failed the class and had to retake it and she said it gets much harder so I'm kind of worried but it shouldn't be too bad because our teacher is really good at explaining things. In English we started reading Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and its good so far but its kind of hard to understand since there are a lot of big words. I watched a bunch of summary videos so i could understand the book more and then reread it and it as much easier to understand what was going on. The rest of the day was pretty normal. I got home and did my requirements and then showered and did my homework. Then I ate dinner and thats it. 

Today at school I had my first college class which was sociology. The professor was really nice and she just went over the syllabus and how to get onto her page on the website we use for college classes called blackboard. We also did this name card activity where we had to put stickers on our name card that somehow represented something about us. Then I just went to the rest of my classes for the day and then got home and did my requirements and then went to high belt class at taekwondo and after that I did a mentor session with master knight. Then I came home and showered and ate dinner. After that I finished my homework which was pretty easy and now I am going to sleep 

Today I just woke up and did requirements and stuff and showered and then we went to the mall to buy clothes. We didnt find anything good, so we came back home. Then I practiced my violin and im getting pretty good at the 4 string chords in one of my pieces because I was able to do them before but it didnt sound as good as they do now. After that I went outside to play volleyball with my friends and it was really hot. When we were coming home I got so many bug bites because there was like a ton of mosquitos just following us as we were walking home. Then I showered and ate dinner and now I am going to sleep. I have school tommorow and I can't believe it because in my mind i was like thinking I only had to go for that one...

Today was really fun and eventful. I woke up and went to sparring class and then helped out with a couple of classes. Then i got a mentor session in with master Knight and we worked on the staff form and stick form and koryo and a bit of high red belt two step self defense because I keep forgetting that one. After that i came home and went to publix to go shopping for stuff for my birthday party. Then we came home and i did my requirements and went for a run. I actually was able to jog/run the whole time because usually i stop and walk in the middle. Even though that way is easier and i get a lower time, I'm glad my stamina is getting better to where i dont need to do that anymore. After that I just showered and chilled for a bit and...

Today at school it was pretty fun because fridays are mostly super chill. This week of school was mostly to get the freshman warmed up so we were doing a lot of group activities with them. We have been doing this one activity where we had to build little cars that could be pushed by wind from a fan. Today was the final testing day and ours did not do very well but it was very fun to watch everyones cars and how creative they were with their designs. In the end the car that went the farthest had probably the most simple design out of the rest. Also I did a push up competition against a junior named Addy. We had to do as many push ups as we could in 1 minute and she got 28 and i got somewhere around 25 but I lost count. After that we...

Today was my birthday. I didn't really do much today i just went to school and everyone kept singing me happy birthday. Somehow though, that many people didn't sing at lunch because they already did it in the morning. Anyways we didnt really do much at school we actually started learning stuff in math and history but in english we had to watch videos and stuff about how to behave in the college building because last year a lot of kids were being disrespectful and apparently someone pushed a bunch of chairs together and took a nap in the middle of class. Today was my first day of school. I woke up early and got done with some of my requirements but I didn't have time to run. Then I took a shower and ate breakfast and went to my bus stop. The bus ride wasn't that bad because its only 30 minutes in the morning. That might seem like a lot to some people but last year it was almost an hour and a half long. Anyways once we got to school we did the senior walk thing which is basically everyone lines up outside the college building and the seniors walk out of it and we clap and cheer for them. I can't believe a lot of people i know are already seniors and soon they will be gone and going off to college or whatever they decide to pursue. After that I did my requirements and ate lunch and then I crocheted and right now I am crocheting another bee (I already made 2). They are so cute so I wanted to make another one. Next I am probably going to finish the shark I started making but it is probably going to take a while because its a big project. I know a lot of peoples school starts on monday, including my sisters, but mine starts on wednesday. I'm thinking of doing my digital detox tommorow and the day after so i dont have to do it during school. Anyways today we went to a temple in the morning and then after we had to go to someones house to pick up a dress for my sister. Then we came home and I practiced violin and did my requirements. After that i went outside to play volleyball but it was raining so we just sat under the pool shelter thing and also not that many people came cus everyone had school tommorow. Today i went to sparring class and helped out with two classes and then at leadership we had to like make up a game and our game was red light green light but instead of running you had to do kicks. After that I went home and showered and stuff and then we had to go to my friends arengatram which is like a dance graduation or something. She did good I can't imagine having to dance for like 2 hours long. After that i just came home and ate dinner and now im going to sleep because I am trying to sleep earlier since school is starting soon and i want to have a good sleep schedule. 

Today was pretty normal I just did all my requirements and went for a run. I got 8:48 on my mile which was my best time so far. I went to black belt class and we did some forms and rolls and falls. I need to work on my spin falls and side falls. After that i came home and went outside to play volleyball with my friends. Today was good because we had enough people to play a good game and we got some really good rallies. After that we went for a walk and then it got dark so we went home. Then i showered and ate dinner and watched some tv and now I m going to sleep good night. 

I got a haircut today and it was kind of bad I just hope it grows out a bit before school starts 😭. Anyways I didn’t really do much I went to the store because my sister needed school supplies. I also did my requirements and practiced violin. Then I went outside to play volleyball but it was kinda rainy so the sand kept sticking to the ball. Only a few of my friends came so it was kind of boring. I hope everyone comes tomorrow so we can actually play

Today we came back home from Hilton head and we left super early in the morning so we got home by 10. Today was my sisters birthday but we didn’t get to do much because we were busy but we did get pizza for lunch because she wanted it. I did my requirements and I also practiced violin. I’m in an orchestra and we were on break for the summer but we are going to start soon around September. I had my open house today but I didn’t go because I didn’t feel like it. My school is also small so I already know all the teachers and stuff so there wasn’t really any need to go. I went outside to walk with my friend and then we played a little volleyball in my driveway. Then she had to go so I came home and ate dinner and that’s it.

I slept a lot today. I had to wake up early to see the sunrise because we are at the beach and I thought it was going to look bad because it was supposed to be cloudy but it was actually very pretty and I took a lot of pictures and my sister took a picture of my dad and it looked really good. We mostly went to the beach and I just slept there because I was tired.

We are at hilton head and i forgot to do my journals for a couple of days. Anyways we were mostly in the car yesterday and then today we went on a boat and saw dolphins but it was raining and it was really cold. Then we went to the beach.

today i just studied for the pre test and went to black belt class. We worked on poomsaes and staff form and stick form. I came home and helped my mom with dinner. Also i forgot to say this yesterday but i found a new shirt on the middle of the road in my neighborhood and it had the tag on it and everything and it was 90 dollars which was crazy. anyways thats it good luck on the pre test everyone 

Today I woke up and went for a run and finished my workout in the morning. I had my SAT class but I had to take some of it in the car because I was going to my school for the back to school cookout. I saw all my friends there and we also met the new freshmen and it was really fun. The freshmen thought my friend was a teacher because he was so tall 😭. After that I just chilled at my school until my dad and my sister picked me up and then I went home and did poomsaes and self defense with my sister. Then we went outside to play volleyball but it started raining but we kept playing and it was fun. I just came home and now im gonna shower and eat dinner byeee

Today I woke up ran a mile and did my requirements. Then I had an SAT class in the morning and after that I studied for the pre test with my sister. I also went to the do jang today and helped out with classes. I also got a mentor session in with master knight and we worked on poomsaes. After that I went home and I played volleyball with my friends and then I came home and showered and had dinner and watched TV. 

I just remembered I had to do a journal. Anyways today was pretty uneventful i just did my requirements and played volleyball with my friends. It wasn't that fun because they kept arguing but it was fine i guess. I also finally got time to practice my violin because I haven't really been able to do that lately.

Yesterday I went outside to play volleyball with my friends but it was super hot so we waited at one of my friends house until it cooled down. Her house is really nice and she has a pool and a garden in her backyard. She was super nice and brought us food and drinks and I feel like I have to repay her for it. Once the weather was a little better we went to the court and we met up with some of our other friends. We played like 3 games and I think my team lost all of them but it was okay because we had fun. When the sun was setting the sky looked super cool because you could like see the sun rays coming up from behind the houses. After that I went home and showered and ate dinner and went to bed. Last night I had to stay up late to finish my drivers ed course because I was behind on it so I didn't sleep that well. I still woke up for sparring class this morning though, and I had fun. I stayed to help out with the other classes and then I had leadership class. Then I came home and ate lunch and now I'm about to finish up my requirements. That's it for today, bye!
