Around, around they go

Ok, work was kind of cool. I worked on Angie Harmon's patio today. I was installing some outdoor drapes on the patio. Everything was going well until I got 3/4 into the job and one of the iron rods was cut too short. I checked my measurements and they were correct. Regardless, I always get to be the guy to tell the client the bad news, and this wasn't any different. She took it well. I told her I could have the correct rod by next Thursday. She said that was fine and just made a joke. She's actually very comical. Here's the funny part, she had to leave and asked if I could secure the patio door and make sure the dogs were in the back yard. No problem, how hard could that be. So I packed up my tools and went to secure the door, when her little pug dog snuck into the patio room. So this little dog goes t the other side of the table in the middle of the room. I walk around to get the dog, and the dog just circles the table to the opposite side of me. So now I'm running around the table chasing this little dog, which seems to be enjoying making a complete idiot of me, just walking around the table. Knowing that I'm beat, and understanding thata running around the table has become a real dumb idea, I decide to use the scare tactic. I make this crazy animal noise waving my handing in the air to scare the dog out of the room. The dog sits down and stares at me from the opposite side of the table. Now I'm about to throw something at this dog at this point, when suddenly, the dog walks back outside like nothing has happened. Makes me wonder if his other dog buddies were video taping the whole exchange so they can replay it latter for a good laugh.

Gotta get reday!
