The Good, Bad and the Ugly

Not sure why I titled it that, just one of my favorite movies I guess. The good would be getting in another couple of miles and good amount of requirements. The bad would be I have to relearn some pomsaes, but I'm sure it's not a big deal. The ugly would be my hook kicks. They are still my Achilles heel. I enjoyed the PMAA class tonight. It was action packed and we did some real eye opening drills with the knife. If I didn't know better, I would have thought Master Evins was trying to kill me. It's amazing how I can practice knife drills and self defense, but when someone is really coming at you hard and heavy with a knife, survival kicks in and you do what ever it takes not to get stabbed (much). It was a good wake up call. My kind of night. The good news is I'm pretty sure I can out run most of my class mates if someone is really trying to kill us. It's like the bear defense technique. You don't have to out run the bear, you just have to out run your buddy. Good night my fellow Cycleillians. Sleep well.
