Spar one, spar all

This morning on the way to sparring class, I received a text from Grand Master Evins asking me to teach sparring. Always keeping me on my toes and challenging me. I love that! That is one of my most favorite classes to teach or participate. Hopefully the class had a good workout and got something out of it. As I finally start to grow up, I can safely say that all the things I thought I had figured out, I don't. That is today's lesson to myself. Keep learning, keep growing, aim high and bow low. Humility is the key to knowledge and progression.

Had an awesome time in black belt class. Always a great class with Master Chelley Hartle. After class I was hoping to work more on the new Do Jong, but we had a meeting with friends for our schools fund raiser which somehow I got stuck on.

Last week baby! Made a realization today, men don't plan grand openings menus very well. My wife asked what we are doing for food, and I said pizza bites and subs and probably meat. She gave me one of those "What?" looks. So, her and Mary Kate will need to get together and make that part work for us. Thank God for wives. They put up with a lot our holliganness as I someday mature into an adult. But lets not rush that. Peace out
