orthodontist

today i woke up but had a slow start to my day so i had to rush at the last minute to get out the door. i got dressed, ate pancakes, bacon, a protein shake, and milk. then i got packed up and rushed out the door because i thought i was late, it turns out i ended up getting there right when my bus is supposed to come but the bus was 15 minutes late so i was standing alone in the cold for an extra 15 minutes and rushed for nothing. the rest of my day went better, in first block we took a vocab test on the words we have been studying and im almost sure i got it perfect, then we read more of "Kaffir Boy", there were some disturbing parts, i wont go into detail but i can assure you that you would not want to live the life he lived, or live anywhere in South Africa for that matter. second block we talked about problems we have with other people, why we have them, our pet peeves, our skills, and our leadership skills. then we went outside to practice drills, drills is organized marching with someone directing you, you must stay in sync with everyone, turn the right way on the right foot, look forward, be in step, it was difficult as a group effort. third block we learned about the parts of the cell, the differences between plant and animal cells, the similarities, and what each organelle does in the cell. we made diagrams and colored them in so we could organize what was what. forth block we talked about and reviewed Islam, after that we moved on to going over the middle ages, knights, castles, surfs, peasants, lords, ect. i got out of class early because i had an orthodontist appointment. i got to the office and they immediately began working on me, i was so tired i almost fell asleep in the chair. they replaced my chain and wires to stronger ones and they make my teeth HURT. its difficult for me to eat food but ill manage. after that i went home and did most of my push ups and sit ups, then my running. i was really not looking forward to the running because it was really hot outside. i did go to a class today, the green belt and higher 4:45-5:30 class. we did warm ups then we got on chest protectors and did sparring combinations on each other to help both people out, one with memory, the other conditioning. we ended class but i had a mentee meeting, we worked on forms first, he is strong and remembers most of it but always seems to have one or two things that i feel i need to tell him about and help him fix in each form. then we did sparring combinations and this helped me more than him because i got to learn and practice how to hold paddles and how to move them fast. i went home and finished my requirements of sparring rounds, kicks, burpees, and jump rope. then i washed my moms car and got 10$ because it was really dirty. i showered now i just need to do my homework and have a bite to eat, take out the trash, then go to bed. hopefully tomorrow will be as productive as today but i wont have to wait on the bus so long!
