Journal #43 - 2/25/2026 Lalitha

Today was… normal, I suppose. School felt more intense than usual even though it was async — we had small groups for Math 1 and Computer Science Discoveries to work on our projects. After that I finished my work, studied, did my requirements, and went out for a run. When I got back I ended up falling asleep, but once I woke up I practiced a bit more.

Since there was Junior Tiger testing today, there was no Senior Tiger class or sparring, but we did have Black Belt class. We did light stretches and worked on our self‑defenses. After that I had a mentor session with Master Weeks, and we went over Staff Form 1 and Single Stick Form 1, worked on my kicks — truly grateful for that. When I got home, I showered, helped with chores, and drank some green tea, spent more time to listen to Atomic Habits, while finishing up missing work. I’m finally thinking about starting journaling and drawing again since I stopped for a LONG time. Overall, a nice Wednesday.

Note to Master Weeks: Hello Sir! I’m not sure if you’ll see this, but I just wanted to say I’m truly grateful — not only for our mentor sessions, but for you as a master. I’ve definitely had both progress and declines throughout this cycle, but you’ve helped me improve not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well, during and even before/after our sessions. Truly grateful. Thank you, Sir.

Hope everyone’s doing well, and good luck with the rest of the cycle. - ⟭⟬ Lalitha Sree Damarla⁷
