Important Lesson to Remember

This morning at the Y, after getting in my requirements, a group of us got together with a Black Belt from another school to work on some basics (kicking, blocking, punching).  When we were practicing the side kick, he stressed to the newer students the importance of chambering your leg before the kick is completed.  One thing he said that stuck with me was, "Everything we're doing becomes easier to learn when you understand why you're doing it."  To me, that applies not just to Taekwondo, but to other aspects of your life.
