Community Service Project

Today, the Black Belt candidates got a chance to complete our Community Service Project requirement.  I'm not sure how many of us showed up (aside from Harrisburg, I did see people I knew from North Charlotte and Huntersville), but we did accomplish our goal of filling 6,000 bags of toiletries, water, and foodstuff for needy families in the Charlotte area, and we did it in a little over 90 minutes.  In fact, when that was announced, some of the people wanted to shoot for 7,000 bags since we had the space rented for another hour.  It was a great event, and showed that when a group of people, even those from different backgrounds, come together for a common cause, they can accomplish a lot.
