Another good Wednesday

My work schedule is definitely different than most. I work 5 to 7 days per week. My shift usually starts before noon and goes well into the evening; usually ending between 10:30 and Midnight. Those are good days. Sometimes like Easter, or last Wednesday my days are 14 to 16 hours long. I am not complaining in the least. I love what I do. I am putting things into context. Today was a good day. I arrived at work at 11:30 and finished at 10:30. Eleven hours is a nice short day.

My work week schedule runs from Wednesday to Tuesday. During the lighter business weeks like today through next Tuesday I can schedule myself off up to two days. Since I am running in the Raleigh Half-Marathon on Sunday, I am scheduled to be off Sunday & Monday. That means I had to work tonight instead of having my Wednesday evening off to teach class at LKN. I still managed to run and do requirements this morning before going to work. Work itself went well.

So, as a whole, it was a good day. I count my blessings everyday. Now it is time for my Bible reading and meditation.

Peace & Love to all,
