The Air Forces slogan, at least in the past, is Aim High. When different services meet, like the Army and the Air Force work together, we would have fun with their slogans. I always remembered the "Aim High when you shoot low" joke. In retrospect, it makes some sense. You picture yourself succeeding at anything you do. Then you go for it. You might fail miserably, but if the right mind set was in place, you do much better the next time. I like believing that I can conquer anything. Even if the reality is so very different. It's why we continually do the things we do. Not because we are good at it, or were born to do it. We do it because it's something we haven't mastered it yet or even tried yet. Imagine the first guy to climb Mount Everest. I bet he was the butt of every joke. Surrounded by skeptics and hypocrites telling him he would die out there. For every awesome challenge out there, there was always one person to do it the first time. So remember to aim high. Even if you fall on your face a thousand times, one of those times there will be success and glory.
