A lot...

What a day! I got up a little earlier than I usually do on Saturday and got some requirements done before helping with Little Tigers. We have a new student who seems very excited to be in class. I hope that continues. It is very refreshing from the ones who need to be encouraged to come on the mat and participate. We had a good class and the kids seemed to be a little more focused today. Inst. Randle worked and I worked on staff forms instead of going for our usual between classes walk since it was raining. Then Inst. Tucker came and mentored me on hapkido. I need a lot of work on that. Thank you ma'am for your patience! For Black Belt class, Mr. Auerbach worked with us on empathy training. I was able to tie my belt much better this time than the last time he taught empathy training. I have been thinking about empathy training and have been considering being without a limb and that seems very challenging. It is nice to have the luxury to be able to choose the day to do that. It was nice to have lunch at a normal time on a Saturday too. What a treat! I was really looking forward to the yoga at the health fair, but I guess it wasn't meant to be today. I did try the zumba class and that was a really good workout. Thanks Ms. Jaquie! Really enjoyed the massage too. Thanks Ms. Janet! I have a nice bruise on my arm and it is either from practicing hapkido before class, or from the women's self-defense class. Thanks for the self-defense class Master Hartle! Thanks Chef Lloyd for sharing your information on 5 a day the color way!

I was glad it stopped raining so I could get out and run. My time is not even close, but it was still nice to be outside. I'm cutting it short today to watch a movie. I am determined to have a very productive day tomorrow. I really like seeing the numbers go down. It is very encouraging.

Today's a good day
