2/6/20 - Dege

Today was an out of the ordinary day. We got the warnings at work and were told to go to an interior room. Thank goodness since one wall of my office is windows. We stayed there for a while, and since we had our cell phones, we listened to the weather and heard that there were some tornadoes that touched down nearby and maybe in Charlotte. Some of those in my office left for home after we were cleared to go back to our office. I went back to work, but I did leave due to flooding so I would be home before dark. I had no issues, but others weren't so lucky. I logged in to work when I got home too.

As if that wasn't enough excitement for one week, it is possible that I will be the only one in my office tomorrow. Since Trump is supposed to be in town, we were given the option of working from home and most took the option. I am hopeful that tomorrow will be a quiet, productive day.
