Woke up feeling the flu shot that I got yesterday, my arm was very stiff and sore and I was slow-moving.  I did hit the greenway, not a huge amount of running as I was having a hard time keeping my breath.  The pollen has been no joke and it seems like every year my allergies hit me hard at the end of the summer.  The rain that we have been getting is terrific, it also seems to have brought on a mega ragweed pollen season.  The miles got done though and I did feel better afterwards and the movement loosened up the soreness in my arm which made working on my other requirements a little easier.  I had some good groups in the classes tonight.  In one I had a white belt that started in summer camp, a little junior tiger that helped teach a brand new white belt how to do squat thrusts so she could earn her red stripe.  Super cute.  Hop step kicks for brand new yellow belts and Sa Chang for some new high greens.  Two high white belts earned their last stripe they needed for our makeup testing...they knew and remembered more than they thought they did . And stance work for everyone. I enjoy summer camp but I do miss being on the mat like I am during the school year.  Lots of new faces that started over the summer and also it's crazy the way that some of these kids have grown since I last had them in class, both physically and in their TKD.  Master Marcus worked with me after classes on items from my list of questions and I am feeling better about them.  I'll be checking in with my mentee to see what is on his list too.  Off to bed, get some miles and hopefully most of my physical requirements in before work, sparring class tomorrow night.  Hope you have a good Thursday!
