Umm... my first post... yay??

I am currently eating chips right now while writing this. Chips are good. You should go try some right now. So, apparently, I read the requirements for this thing and it says that I am supposed to blog at least... 30 times? Yeah, pretty sure it's that. I'm new to this all so I have no idea what in the world to do. Well, I do because of the book, but the book can only tell you so much. I thought I could do this, but now, I have doubts. I went to my first sparring class on Saturday at Master Evins. From what I've gathered, Master Hartle and Master Evins have some similarities, but also subtle differences in the way they teach. Which makes sense, they're different people! But it's been surprisingly easy to get adjusted. I've made a small first effort to get a head start on the cycle. But, as most things in my life do, went HORRIBLY WRONG. The day before yesterday, I went on a run. Except since I just moved, I don't know the ins and outs of the neighborhood. So, I... (disappointment sigh) I got lost. Not just the normal kind of lost, you know? Like the ' I-don't-know-where-im-going-help-please-i-guess-i-should-start-making-a-plan-because-obviously-im-never-finding-my-way-home-i-should-probably-go-eat-rocks-in-the-dark' lost. My neighborhood is part of a... neighborhood group. I live in Christenbury Hall, but there are also similar ones like Christenbury Trace ,Christenbury Woods, Christenbury Village, Christenbury Platypus (kidding). So what I suspected would be a 15 minute walk/run, ended up being... 15 minutes. plus an hour. So, basically, I was wandering around aimlessly for an hour and fifteen minutes. And since I had never walked/ran that long continuously without having a chance to sit down or take a sip of water or stop for a minute, once I got home, everything hurt. You know when you run and your muscles get bunched up and you have this awful feeling like someone just kicked you? Yeah, I had that... for two days. I could not do a single sit-up. Speaking of, I couldn't even sit up. And it was weird because an hour after the walk/run (the warun?) everything started working fine, except that feeling didn't go away! And I must have gone 5k because it's a big neighborhood and I got really far from home. I've also been told I walk really fast paced and when I'm walking I can be in the very back and end up in front. It's weird. I'm weird. I know. I guess it's all the better for me because I walked 3 miles. But I don't even know if it counts because I mostly walked instead of ran. I really hope it counts.
