Tuesday's Master Training

Today at Master’s Training, we spent a lot of time talking about this weekend's Black Belt Testing—what went well, what didn’t, and what we can do better next time. We also talked about the things we need to work on personally as martial artists and instructors, as well as areas where our students need more attention.

One of the most valuable parts was getting feedback from the other Masters about our students and being able to give feedback about theirs. Sometimes another instructor sees something that we miss because we work with our own students every day. It’s not always easy to hear where we need improvement, but that’s how we grow.

Black Belt Testing may be over, but the learning definitely isn’t. There is always something we can improve—for ourselves, our students, and our schools.
