I had a seizure on Sunday, I was told that I was out of it for about 15 seconds. I went to the emergency room, and I had all sorts of tests, and after a long time there they said I tested positive for Influenza A. They told me that a seizure is like a computer rebooting, and that's what happens to your brain, it reboots. Because of that I had to go through a head scan, and I have to go back to follow-up. I didnt think the flu would make me have a seizure but the doctors said that Influenza causes all sorts of weird things to go wrong in your body so that was the reason for the seizure. Something like that never happened to me before. I've been home all week, mostly in bed resting and taking medicine for fever. All of this happened Sunday which was by birthday, so I got to spend my birthday in the hospital. When one of the nurses realized that it was my birthday she brought me a little lego toy as a gift. Anyway, today I went back to school, and went to class too, I'm feeling a lot better, and will be back in class tomorrow morning too. At school they told me a lot of kids are out sick, but if you get tested and have Influenza A thats the real flu, not a cold, and it can knock you out. I think by Sunday I'll be back to 100% so it knocked me out for a week.
