Monday

Overall, not a terrible Monday. Normal morning... and I actually got a few items on my work to-do list done, which does not always happen when start with reading email... so I decided to start on some tasks and do email later. Much more productive. I truly believe that people email to just email something... I would say on average only about 10% of emails I receive matter. I could probably say the same for the emails I send as well. It is a little crazy. Will people just pick up the phone and call me. It will truly save time and energy. I really did not make any specific New Years Resolution, but I think I might try and not send as many emails and communicate in other ways (phone or in-person). Anyway... kids got out of school early (Lincoln Charter) for the potential weather which was just rain. It is after 10:00pm and still pretty far above freezing. I think they will have school tomorrow. It is already a short week for them due to the holiday. They actually have a half-day Thursday and off on Friday, and following Monday. I told Nate that this is a good weekend to get ahead on some of our requirements. It was good night, we met our Mentees and did some training. My wife cooked an awesome dinner while we were training. Came home and ate, then finished a few things and got kids off to bed. Not a bad Monday. Looking forward to tomorrow.
