Woke up early to attend the community service event at the McCrorey YMCA—and what an incredible event it was! There was an overwhelming turnout of volunteers, tons of donations, and so many blessings all in one place. Charlotte’s mayor even officially proclaimed today as McCrorey YMCA Day!
Despite the heat, it was worth every second: our goal was to pack 6,000 care bags for the homeless, and we blew past it to exceed 7,000.
Afterward, I headed home to knock out some requirements before going over to my in-laws' house. We grabbed half-off sushi together as a family, then headed back to help them set up a new TV and hang out. After hot dogs for dinner, we returned home later in the evening to unwind with a bit of football before bed.
