Friday

Although this was a short work week, I am happy it is Friday. Just starting to get back into the normal swing of things at home. Getting up early and getting kids out for school. It is really only Nate, and Lexi gets herself out, and Kara is home now from College but self-sufficient (for the most part). It was a pretty good Friday. Next week is the real test. Full week. We had a challenging night at King Tiger. Nate and I went to kick boxing and then did a mentor session with Master Marcus. Then onto Black Belt. Grandmaster Evins ran out BB class tonight and it was great but challenging. We learned some new self-defenses (at least they were new to me) that we need to know for testing so it was good to practice them. I am finding our new self-defenses to actually be pretty fun and practical. It is much more of a steady flow versus 1,2,3... it is good. I am excited about tomorrow's BB class. See if we learn some more. I am really liking this cycle. Keep moving!!!
