Accountability Post #2

Alright, week 4 in the cycle.

Because I was focused on the state exam, I haven't been writing my essays and I'm only a few chapters into the required book. This week I need to step up and work on that.

Class requirements and leadership requirements are progressing as they should. Leadership can be hard to get, we have so many people asking to lead for the cycle. But I just need to either show up early enough to ask.

Mentor and mentee sessions was another challenge to get done. I'm used to always being at King Tiger and having so much time, but now I have to make more of an effort to be there and be there when they have ability to have a session. I'm not behind so I don't need to stress, but I definitely need to emphasize getting it done.

There is a lot of things I know, but there is still plenty I need to learn. I need to not only ask my mentor for help, but my peers as well. And I need to use my poomsae and self-defense time to refine and practice them rather than the Poomsae I do know.

Need to work on rolls and falls, more aggressively. I do not feel comfortable falling during bocho specials #6 and spin falls.

Physical requirements are easy enough to get down, but I should push myself more. Working on my double under rather than singles, V-ups a bit more, and I want to stretch and practice my jump kicks more.
