My run today was not good. From the start my legs were heavy and sore. For as much as I was working over those 4 miles, my time did not reflect that. I've done enough running and racing over the years to know that bad days will happen no matter what. It's just mentally challenging when it's "race" week.
Unfortunately, my body did not play nice with the rest of my physical requirements today either. Everything was just hard. I'm going to focus this week on my diet and flexibility. I need to make sure I'm getting good fuel and my muscles are loose and ready for Saturday morning.
I've read through my written test a few times, but need to do a lot more studying. My essays are mostly done, though I see one I wasn't ready for on my testing application, so I'll have to cram that one in.
To add to the fun, my credit card was compromised, so I spent a bunch of time on the phone with the bank today getting that squared away and ordering a new card.
