Today wasn't as busy with work so I got all my physical requirements done before I was done with work. Then it was down to the dojang to help with class. I led warmups and, I think for the first time ever, managed to get through the entire set without anything being out of order. It's only taken me three years to finally memorize it. It's funny how I can tell you if someone leading class changes up the order but I couldn't just rattle off what the order is supposed to be - especially under the pressure of 30 pairs of eyes.
After helping with class, we jumped into the Muay Thai class and learned that some skills will carry over, many won't. It was a lot of learning and watching but it was fun. Except now my arms hurt from throwing elbows at the pads. We helped clean up because that crew is still new to our dojang and it seemed unfair to jump dump all that on them and leave. Everyone was really nice and helped us learn; I'm more excited about being able to train in it though I know it's going to be slow going at first. It's very surreal feeling almost like a stranger in your home dojang.
After that we came home, ate dinner, finished up our requirements and now it's time to get ready for bed. I need to figure out how to get a bunch of mileage in tomorrow because I'm still playing catchup from all the days when rain broke open just as I was getting ready to go walking. I'm hoping to get at least 3 miles in tomorrow so we'll see how that goes.
