Today was another fun family day at Bank of America Stadium watching the Belk Bowl (USC and UVA)… we got killed by UVA because our team was not playing well at all. It was a blow out of 28 to 0. Ridiculous. Enough about that. I think the thing that most impressed me was the people. Just great people here in the south. Nate and I went to the Men's room during half time. Nate went into a stall to use the bathroom, and had left his USC sweatshirt in the stall. We went all the way back to our seats before he realized he left it. We rushed back to the bathroom, and there it was hanging on the door for us to get back. No one took it. I was very impressed and thought out people in general. Although there are many people that do bad things in this world. I honestly believe most people have good in them. I wished we would all focus on the positive more. I think we naturally think about the negative. The bad new, bad weather, something hurts, something aches, someone did something stupid or ticked us off, or something negative. That is what we watch on the news or post on social media. We need to put more of the positive things in life. I was sitting there at the game, and although we were losing (badly) -- (see negativity)… I started to think about my family, Trish, my kids, their friends (a couple with us today). I looked up at the blue sky and watched the planes flying over and seeing the masses of people in the stands also hanging with friends and family, and thought... what could be better. It was a fantastic day, and all hope we have another one today. So, basically, if you are feeling negative, twist your mind for a minute, look around, and find the positive. That is something I am going to do more of this coming year. Not a resolution, a promise. Keep moving!
