Journal #63 - 03/17/2026 Lalitha

Today was a nice day. I had my benchmark test this morning — since yesterday was canceled, I had to take the science one today. After I finished, I spent some time studying for my retest. Since I was in‑person, I didn’t have as much access to everything, but I still managed to find the answers to a bunch of questions.

When I got home, I was feeling nauseous since the morning, but it finally eased up once I ate something. I’m not even sure if it counted as breakfast or lunch since I hadn’t eaten all day. After that, I took a nap, then woke up and did my requirements before heading to TKD.

At TKD, I helped out with the Senior Tigers class. I led kicks and punches, and since Master Burkart was leading class, we worked on falling, technical stand‑ups, Kwon Sool on the ground, and a few other drills. After that, I had a mentee session, and then a mentor session with Master Weeks. We went over my test, and I realized how different the updated answers are compared to the book, but I’m truly grateful for the support and clarification.

When I got home, I ate some fruit, set up my backpack for tomorrow’s benchmark, and packed my written test so I can study it during school. Overall, a great day.

Note to Master Weeks, Master Burkart, Master Cavazos, and Instructor Antoine: Truly grateful for your support today, Sirs — thank you for the guidance, corrections, and encouragement.

Hope everyone’s doing well, and good luck with the rest of the cycle.  Lalitha Sree Damarla⁷
